Peace. Prosperity. Happiness. These are the things Equestria is known for. The princesses get their due credit, basking in the adoration of their beloved subjects. But few are aware of the cost of peace, or the decisions made thousands of years ago to preserve it across such a vast territory for such a long time. It is not shrewd diplomacy, benevolence and natural kindness that drives Equestria to be the bastion of harmony it is today.
Deep beneath the land, something hidden and forgotten stirs. It festers. It shifts.
For the first time, it thinks.
A tribute, but not crossover, to the Silent Hill franchise.
Because this story will feature a wide range of characters roughly equally, character tags serve little purpose. Let the 'other' tag be indicative that any and all characters could possibly arrive.
