Previously on Star Ponies: The Next Generation

On her first mission, Captain Twilight Sparkle has found herself facing a being with godlike powers. With little to no options, she evacuated most of her crew and surrendered to the creature, waiting for it's next move.

And now the continuation.

Twilight Sparkle and her crew stared at the energy web that encompassed her ship. Even though their ship was the most powerful ship in Starfleet, they knew they didn't have a chance against a being that could make anything possible. The ship then started to shake violently, putting the crew into a greater sense of fear than before. But then with a flash, the bridge crew was taken from their ship and placed in an old chamber, similar to that of an old court room in Canterlot. They were surrounded by an audience of ponies that looked to be demented and deformed, almost evil. They yelled at the heroes with much hatred in their voices.

“Captain,” Luna said. “The courtroom, it resembles-”

“Canterlot after the fallout, where Celestia disappeared and the ponies were left to fend for themselves.” Twilight Sparkle could only look down. Even though it was a long time ago she still couldn't believe that pony kind came from a past as twisted as this one.

A pony in an ancient eastern garb stood up and announced: “All rise for the judge of pink!” This pony seem to be the bailiff. The audience seemed to settle down and stood up, looking towards an empty black void. Twilight didn't stand up, she didn't want to give this, “Pinkie Q” the satisfaction. The hall then went completely silent as Pinkie Q, wearing a read robe and strange hat, entered the room on a rather large throne. The bailiff motioned two power armored ponies to raise their weapons at Twilight and the others. “You will rise for the Pink Judge!” Twilight and the others cringed at the very old, but very brutal weapons. But Colgate jumped out of her seat and flew to the power armored pony to the left of them. The guard tried to fire at Colgate but missed, giving Colgate ample time to kick the guard in the face and knocking him over. The other guard came up to Colgate and held a gun to her head. Pinkie Q arose from her throne.

“Stop!” She yelled. Colgate was forcefully returned to her seat. Pinkie Q looked over to the guard that was knocked over and motioned the other guard to kill him. The guard used more than enough bullets by Twilight's count. She cringed and looked to Pinkie Q.

“I presume this will be a fair trial? No harm will come to the prisoners?” she asked with a face of authority. In truth, Twilight had never felt so scared in her life. The only thing she could cling to was her ethics and the proof that pony kind had since passed this time period.

“Oh yes, absolutely Twi'” Pinkie said with a big smile. Twilight did not appreciate the nickname. The bailiff moved forward and spoke.

“Before this gracious court now appear these prisoners to answer for the multiple and grievous savageries of their species. How plead you, criminal?”

Twilight was about to answer but Luna tapped her shoulder and said: “Captain, may I? I have an objection.” Twilight allowed her to speak. “Objection, your honor. 1,253 years ago, the Celestial Hierarchy declared that no Equestrian citizen could be made to answer for the crimes of their race or forbears.”

Pinkie smiled slyly and said, “Objection denied, this court is from 800 years ago and the Celestial Hierarchy had disappeared and the Equestrian Wasteland was what ruled.” Colgate rose again with tears in her eyes. Twilight stood up and faced her.

“Colgate wait-”

“No Captain, I'm from a world that was ruled just like this while it was under control by an alien threat. If anything, this court should just get down on it's knees and praise Starfleet!” Pinkie Q raised a hoof and a force of wind pushed Colgate into a wall and knocking her out. Luna and Rarity rushed over to her, trying to get her back on her hooves. Twilight rushed over.

“Is she okay?” Twilight asked with a worried look.

Luna frowned and said, “Uncertain Captain, she has appeared to have broken her wings but beyond that we don't have any way of knowing.” Rarity put on a face of pure anger with tears welling up and yelled:

“You monster! How dare you-”

The business end of a rifle was pointed at Rarity's head by the guard. The bailiff smiled and said, “Criminals stay silent.”

“You've got a lot to learn about ponies if you think torturing us or frightening us will move us into silence.” Twilight Sparkle at this point didn't care that Pinkie Q was omnipotent, she hurt two of her crew mates.

“You will answer these charges criminal!” The bailiff yelled sadistically.

“Or what? My death? Hers? I refuse to answer these charges if the court doesn't even play by it's own rules.” Twilight was adamant. She would not lose this trial. Pinkie Q smiled and with a stomp of her hoof, Colgate was back on her feet as a good as new. “How can you even begin to judge ponies when you know nothing of the current civilization and base all your fact on ponies who have long since perished from this time?”

“What would you suggest then, Twi'?” Pinkie Q said as she leaned forward.

“That we be tested! Our mission has us on a long road discovering new things about the galaxy and ourselves.” Twilight knew it was a shot in the dark, but it was all she had.

“Another splendid idea Captain. But your test hardly requires a long mission. Your immediate destination offers far more challenge than you can possibly imagine. Yes, this Farpoint station will be an excellent test.” Pinkie Q gave a devious smile, further cementing within Twilight that this creature was truly one of the greatest threats and mysteries she has ever faced, or perhaps ever will face.

“All rise!” The bailiff announced, hitting a rather large gong in the room.

“These ponies are to be tested on this mission of theirs.” Pinkie rose, if only to look down on Twilight and the others. “Captain, you may find you are not nearly clever enough to deal with what lies ahead for you. It may have been better to accept sentence here.”

And with a flash, the crew returned to the secondary bridge of the Enterprise. The other crewman that were on the bridge with them didn't even seem to notice them being gone. Luna turned to the Ensign on the conn and said, “What is a current heading crewpony?”

The crewpony had an accent, “On course for Farpoint ma'am.”

Luna looked at her console, “Confirmed Captain, we're on course for Farpoint.”

“Know anything about the station Ma'am?” The crewpony asked Twilight.

“We'll soon find out . . . what's your name?” Twilight asked.

“O'Caramel ma'am, Apple O'Caramel.” said O'Caramel continued working the console.

“Yes well, we were told that it's rather interesting O'Caramel.” The ship continued on it's way to Farpoint station.

To Be Continued in . . .The Miracle Planet!

Edit: Sorry Folks, didn't mean for it to end abruptly like that, just me derping.
