The Witcher 3 -DLC: The Witcher of Equestria
Chapter 18: Allies made.
Previous Chapter Next Chapter"... Play dead." Geralt ordered.
"What!?" The Spider-Mother asked in surprise
"I don't mind killing spiders at all, but knowing you and they are sentient... this is just weird, but I should help. And you say you've been doing this for survival. Nothing shouts evil like that, especially with some dog things that made you do this. Now, Play dead." The Spider-Mother blinked, but followed, closing it's eyes, though still bleeding. Geralt turned to Keira. "Tell the mutts that we 'handled' their situation."
"Of course, Geralt." Keira replied, turning and leaving Geralt alone. He walked around the Spider-Mother, seeing the sliced off, bleeding abdomen-less back.
"Damn. Gonna need my sack... and Roach." He placed his hoof in his mouth and whistled.
Roach followed along the train tracks, hopping on each wooden plank. A train was heading her way, traveling fast and at her. She paused as she didn't hear the train just a few yards from her, but Geralt's whistle.
"MASTER!!!" She yelled, jumping just inches away before the train could hit her! A portal opened to her, and she ran through it, seeing Geralt in a cave.
Geralt turned to see a portal open right beside him, followed by Roach, exiting.
"Master!!!" She yelled "Oh! It's so good to see you again!!! You won't believe it, but the stallions don't have penises! None are willing to give me their foals, and I don't have a vagina!" Geralt gagged. "Master, please, I-"
"Shut up!" Geralt barked "Hold still!!!" He opened the sacks next Roach's sides and pulled out some herbs. Roach turned to the Giant Spider and screamed.
"SPIDER!!!" She whinnied and ran away! Geralt grumbled to himself as he made a potion with the herbs from home. He walked to the bleeding area, but the spiderlings hissed at Geralt.
"I'm trying to help your mother! I know what I'm doing." The Spiderlings backed off, but hissed. Geralt pulled a bandage he had and placed the cure on the bleeding flesh. It took him a while, but the herbs began to heal the flesh, replacing it with the exoskeleton of the spider. He could hear conversations arriving to them. "It's going to be a while, but you're going to get a new abdomen. Stay down." Reluctantly, Geralt wiped himself in a puddle of the spider's blood across his face. He walked from behind, blood soaked, and saw the Diamond Dogs with Keira and Zoltan.
"You killed spider!?" One of the Diamond Dogs asked"
"I did. Challenging, but I'm fine." The Spiderlings hissed at the Diamond Dogs.
"Kill Small ones!" Another yelled "No more!"
"Don't waste your energy. These Spiderlings will starve without their mother. Let them kill each other."
"...You have good point. You ready to join ponies, boss?"
"Of course I am!" Zoltan replied, marching to Geralt. "I'm done with you idiots and these caves!"
"Alright, boss. Come back soon!"
"Fuck off!" The Diamond Dogs ran back to their main mine on all fours.
"...That was easy." The gigantic Spider spoke.
"THE FUCK!?!?!? Geralt! I thought you-"
"I made my choice, Zoltan." Geralt spoke "She's just trying to survive with her children. And now, you can walk." The giant spider blinked, but got onto it's legs, albeit, weakly. It stood rather weirdly, but it easily towered the two ponies and Diamond Dog.
"Thank you, Geralt. How long until my abdomen returns?
"About three months. You better hide, though. Those Diamond Dogs will be on the lookout for you."
"I agree. Take whatever you find here; I will find a new cave for my children and I. I will hate you forever, but... you have my respect." It crawled along the walls and opened a secret entrance, hidden by more webs. The mother and it's children entered, and disappeared without a trace. Roach peeked out of a corner.
"Is it gone?" she asked
"Who is that!?" Zoltan demanded. Geralt sighed in annoyance.
"That... is Roach. Get over here!"
"Yes, master!" she spoke enthusiastically, trotting to them. Geralt found a wagon with a built in yoke. He took Roach to the wagon and strapped her in. He then found various treasures around and placed it into the wagon.
"There, now follow us. We'll get out of here. Know anyway out, Zoltan?"
"Of course I do." Zoltan replied with a smirk. "I may not be in the mines all the time, but I know how to navigate one. In the meantime, care to tell me what's been going on?"
"Of course."
The travel through the mines took them a while, but they made it out, just as the morning came.
"All of this in less than two days?" Zoltan asked
"I think it took longer." Geralt replied "Roach was bitching the whole way and we had to stop."
"I always tell you this, but you never listened!" Roach replied
"That's because you're a horse! Horses don't talk!"
"Here, they do, and they're really attractive."
"... That's just fucking weird." Zoltan commented.
"And it doesn't really make sense." Keira added. At that moment, a sinister sounding laugh was heard.
"Making sense?" A voice echoed around them "What fun is there in making sense?"
"M-Master?" Roach cowered. Geralt pulled out his silver sword and stood on his hind legs, ready for battle.
"Show yourself!" He barked
"Oh, do not be afraid, Geralt of Rivia," the voice echoed "I don't wish to bring you, nor your friends, any harm."
"Quite the obvious lie you have there. And how do you know who I am?"
"I've seen many things you did, Geralt. Saving that filly's life from the Timberwolves, defeating but sparing a dragon, meeting Celestia, your battle with the Hydra, and, now, your encounter with the Spider."
"...Who are you?" He felt himself being lifted off the ground, then was turned upside down. The place around him turned around, but Roach, Zoltan, and Keira were tossed around while he stayed in position. A flash of light came, and staring into Geralt's eyes was probably the strangest creature he ever saw: It was a long, slender creature with an antler of a deer & the horn of a goat, side-by-side on the head of a grey horse, which abruptly ended to a brown body that had an eagle claw on the left, a lion's paw for the right, a horse leg for the bottom left, a dragon's foot for the right, and, it ended, also abruptly, to a red, lizard like tail that ended in a puff of white fur. Geralt couldn't help but stare at the creature holding him in place with a sensation of really powerful magic.
"'Allo. The name's Discord, Ruler and Master of all things chaotic."
"...What are you? A spirit? A demon? A Hybrid?"
"Hm, you can say any of those match me." His snapped his eagle talon like a finger, and a tea set conjured up between the two, complete with furniture for the two to sit on.
"What are you doing here? Came to kill me? If so, make it quick."
"Kill you?" Discord bellowed with laughter.
"...What are you here for, then?" Discord wiped a tear from his face before clearing his throat.
"Apologies for that, but, I'm actually here to establish some rules for your quest."
"Rules? A chaotic being making rules?"
"Yes, it seems unnatural, but I know that this is going to be fun! For me, at least." Geralt crossed his hooves together.
"And what is this 'fun', you speak of?"
"Oh, the usual. See, I've been playing some of these... videogames, that ponies loves to play, and, I must say, my favorite Genre has to be the RPG."
"RPG?"
"Oh, you know. Role Playing Games! Games that allow you to be someone else, usually with your own character, but I prefer to be someone else."
"... I don't get it."
"Of course you wouldn't! But here's some of the characters I enjoy playing as." He conjured up a list with a picture of a pony on the back. "Cloud Flight"
"Sneak"
"And, of course, Portal."
"Do you know what they have in common?"
"... Being ponies?" Geralt asked
"Yes, but they're not me at all! So, Geralt, in this quest of yours, I'm not gonna stop you at all, but instead, you have these rules to follow." He pulled out a piece of paper and gave it to Geralt. Geralt looked over it.
1) Party limit of 4. Gives you more of a challenge with only three members with you in combat, and your enemies a chance to win
2) Each member has a special ability. Choose wisely.
3) Loyalty missions! Gives you and your friends some character development, and it should help them survive!
4) Keep their weapons and armor updated. Being your friends, you have to make sure they're prepared for anything.
5)This is obvious, but don't die!
"Have fun!" Discord snapped away and everything stopped. Geralt fell onto his face.
"...ow." he only said.
"What... just happened?" Keira asked
"... Rules were added to us."
"...Need some help?" Zoltan asked
"... Put me in the Wagon."
