It is a cold day in Equestria. It is getting close to Hearth's Warming Eve. The Mane Six are getting winter ready with the rest of Ponyville with plans of visiting their own families and/or friends for Hearth's Warming. Rainbow decided not to try to stop winter this time. After all, if Tank must sleep, he can, right?

"Well, that's the last of it." Twilight said with a smile as the last of the winter snow is on the ground. "At least now it won't be a big explosion like last time."

"Right, we're done lucky Cloudsdale didn't press charge or kick ya out o' 'de Wonderbolts." Applejack said to Rainbow with a smirk, reminding her friend of that.

"Yeah, yeah." Rainbow said, rubbing the back of her head as the Mane Six as well as Ben and the Dragons are heading home. "So Pinkie? What are your big plans?

"Me and AJ are taking the Apples to my family at the rock farm!" Pinkie exclaims happily as she bounces up and again. "I'm so nervicited that we will spend it as a family, even though I still got no idea if we're related or not."

"Well, Sweetie and I are going to decorate the Carousel Boutique for mom and dad." Rarity said with a smile. "What about you, Fluttershy?"

"Oh, I thought I would spend time with my animal friends, especially..." Fluttershy said, recalling one other friend that she is going to mention.

Suddenly without warning, the group yelps as a huge snow wave almost buried them, luckily they got out of the way in time. They saw, who else, Discord riding on a big boards.

"Greetings, friends and ponies." Discord said with a smile as he got off his board. "Fancy meeting you all here. I was worried I would miss you all before your big holidays."

"I thought I smell a big of trouble." Golden Heart said as he, Pinkamena and Omega arrives on the scene. "Discord, are you causing trouble since we just got done with the Jade Emperor's grandson?"

"Of course! I thought I would spend pre-holiday fun with my good friends the Mane Six. So..." Discord transforms into Princess Anna from "Frozen", alarming the group as he made a snowman. "Do you want to build a snowman?"

"He isn't going to eat us, is he?" Spike ask, glancing at the snowman in concern.

"Discord, ugh. Take the dress off please." Rainbow groans as she slaps herself on the forehead, a bit disgusted by what's Discord is wearing. "Seriously. Please?"

"Too much? Very well!" Discord exclaims as he snaps himself back to normal than made paper appears. "We can make Hearth's Warming cards and have cocoa!"

Discord snips the paper with his fingers like scissors, making cards instantly. He then took a cup of cocoa and drinks from it...but yelps and spits the stuff out. As Discord recover, he saw paper bits and hot coffee that fell onto the gang.

"Sorry, sorry, I can do better." Discord said nervously as he dusts the group off quickly. The Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony turns into a hockey player. "Hockey, everyone?"

"Okay, Discord. What are you up to now?" Ben ask Discord with a sigh. This causes him to yelp, looking a bit nervous.

"M-m-me? Nothing! I am not spreading chaos or getting into trouble, am I? I can do better! I want to spend time with you all!"

"I think you're scared." Pinkamena said, smiling as she notes Discord shrinking a bit.

"Don't cut me short, Pinkamena." Discord squeaks before growing large again, knocking down a few trees by accident. "Oh darn! Darn darn darn darn darn!"

Discord hits the ground with his foot, causing the area to shake like mad. The heroes do their best not to fall to the ground as Nyx cries out, "Whoa, Uncle Discord, stop! Stop!"

"STOP IT RIGHT NOW!!!" Twilight screams out in the Canterlot Royal Voice. Discord gasps as he shrinks down, looking down in guilt and a bit of fright.

"Wow, when were you able to do that?" Fluttershy ask Twilight, surprised that she was able to use the Canterlot voice.

Twilight clears her voice, speaking, "Well, Fluttershy, I guess being a princess comes with the voice. Now Discord? What is the problem?"

"Right, come on, don't lie, sugah cube." Applejack said as she pats Discord on the tail, causing him to move aside.

"Come on, start talking, why don't ya?" Phobos ask Discord with a frown. Something is bugging this guy and the heroes won't stop bugging Discord until he talks.

"Well, all right. You see, I have reformed for a few weeks or so...but I still feels for what I did when I came back the first time as well as always causing trouble. There's discording the girls, almost turning Ponyville into my personal kingdom, almost losing Fluttershy as my first friend ever..."

"It's okay, Discord, really." Fluttershy said as she tries to comfort her good friend.

"No, it isn't! Then there's the time I hold off on telling you girls about the seeds that almost destroyed Equestria!" Discord complains while waving his hands in the air. "Then there's the incident with my evil twin, when I pretended to be sick and trolled Twilight and Cadance..."

"Or the fact that the Golden Oak Library was destroyed because of him?" Phobos ask, bringing up what else Discord has done in the past that resulted in trouble making.

"Phobos! He was being manipulated by Tirek!" Nyx scolds Phobos for that.

"Sorry! I still got bad memories!"

"As well as when I was jealous of Fluttershy's friendship with Tree Hugger and brought my buddy the Smooze in...and some more, including trolling Twilight, leaving her out with her friends on purpose." Discord said gloomy, sitting on a snowy rock as he thought of that.

"I remember asking Omega to scan you girls when I was afraid Discord had you under a spell." Twilight said, recalling the day when she had Omega scan the girls for any of them under a spell.

"The results came out negative." Omega said in confirmation.

"Right. I mean, being the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony...I remember the trouble I used to caused centuries ago, especially what I once did to Morning Glory." Discord said, wearing a criminal outfit. "I feel like a criminal, not trusted by society. I just want to hang with you all...not let any chaos ruin things like what happened. Is that so hard to ask?"

The group looks at each other in concern, most feel a bit worried for Discord. It isn't easy trying to have fun and not be himself. Golden Heart was the first to speak, "Discord...do you know why Celestia has Fluttershy be the one to help reform you?"

"No, why?"

"It's simple, because Fluttershy's kindness made it hard for you to discord her. She, despite some problems, was able to do the impossible: be a friend to someone like you. You are really a nice guy despite your problems, Discord."

"He's right, Discord." Applejack said with a small smile to Discord. "Ah wouldn't lie about 'dis: sometimes yer chaos powers can be a big problem."

"But it can also be funny too!" Pinkie exclaims, hopping up and down. "Like frozen chocolate rain! Yum!"

"Yes, and while your chaos powers tend to be a bit rude and often made unflattering things happen, it can help be fun if you learn self-control, just like we did with Loki A. Fool." Rarity explains with a nod, pointing out the incident with the Jade Emperor's grandson not too long ago.

"Yep! You can control the fun, so we can all have fun."

"Remember, I have confidence you can keep your chaos powers under control and use them to entertain and not cause a whole lot of problems for everyone." Fluttershy said, giving Discord a hug. Now the former villain is beginning to cheer up a bit.

"Yeah, well, being the Element of Loyalty means I gotta support my friends'...awww, can't lie either. You're cool when you ain't a jerk from times." Rainbow remarks to Discord with a smirk. "’Ice’ see you are doing better."

The group laughs at that pun joke. Twilight calms down as she continues, "And I admit, while the past is water under the bridge, sometimes you tend to make me mad. But as long as we got a friend like you..."

"And someone who is a honorary member of our family for a reason." Ben said, adding in to the conversation as well.

"You make things very interesting in Equestria." Spike said then rubs the back of his head awkwardly. "Just don't poke up in my bed all the time."

"Well, hearing that...who am I to argue?" Discord asks as he grow up, literally. "Very well. No worries, my friends. From now on, self-control is my middle name!"

"I thought it was de." Pinkamena said randomly while smiling.

"So any pony want to come back to my place for cookies and cocoa?" Twilight ask as the gang makes their departure from the area.

"Allow me to teleport you there." Discord exclaims, laughing as he grabs everyone and teleported right out of the area...

....ending up in the castle itself. The heroes of Equestria are surprised but luckily, they are not too sick from the trip. Discord's teleportation amazed them...whenever it happens.

Discord got to work on decorating the place, he wishes to help Twilight's family get ready for the upcoming Hearth's Warming before the gang can continue their hanging out activities.

Something is bugging Nyx for some reason. As Spike put a plate of cookies and cocoa ono the table, the black filly spoke up, "You know, I think I saw Starlight Glimmer again."

"Again? When?" Rainbow ask surprised as the others came over, surprised that Nyx actually saw Starlight Glimmer...again!

"When mommy was trying to recreate your moment with Discord while she, daddy, Spike, Phobos and I were reorganizing those books."

"Flashback time!" Pinkie exclaims to the camera happily, leaving the others a bit confused.

"Thank you for coming. I wouldn't have asked you here if it wasn't important." Twilight said as she, Ben, Nyx and the Dragons stood in front of the others and Discord with plans of doing a demonstration. The Alicorn wants to understand the joke that she has no idea what it is.

"I love important!" Pinkie exclaims happily as she bounces up and down.

"I want to know how these funny moments you shared came to pass. I can use this data to help advance friendships all over Equestria."

"Well, Ah like 'de sound o' dat!" Applejack exclaims with a smile. She likes the sound of that!

The rest of the Mane Five muttered in agreement. Twilight clears her throat as she spoke once more, "Perfect. Let's start with the snake."

But then, Rainbow Dash and Discord started laughing. Ben glares at the two laughing ones as he demands, "What's so funny?"

Rainbow was the first to calm down, somewhat, as she spoke, "I don't know if I can get it out! It's too funny!"

"Oh, but we must! It's for the greater good! It started when we were helping Granny Smith with her garden..." Discord said as he begins explaining the story behind the snake joke.

"Uh, Ah reckon yew mean mah sister Apple Bloom." Applejack said, correcting Discord on that.

"Eh... All you Apples look the same. And then Rainbow Dash saw a snake!"

"I think it was a garden hose." Fluttershy said as she was there and knows what a snake would look like.

"It was a hose snake. Super deadly." Rainbow explains clearly, that it's some sort of hose snake.

"Ah recall it bein' a large stick dat looked like a hose dat, in turn, did in fact resemble a snake." Applejack said, recalling her best as to what it was that the two saw.

Spike tried to take a few notes down. Pinkie smiles as she continues onward, "Point is, we galloped away."

"And it chased after us!" Rainbow explains the next part of the story now.

"The hose? A snake? A stick?" Twilight ask anxiously, wanting to know what that next part is.

"A snake!"

"A hose!" Fluttershy cries out, hoping that what they saw wasn't a snake.

"A stick!" Applejack guessed quickly. Twilight and her family looks a bit disbelief. Apparently, these ponies don't remember what it was!

"We literally trotted for our lives. Isn't that hilarious?" Discord laughs madly enough to roll over on his back side.

"Seriously?" Phobos ask dryly. He had no idea what the joke is at all and even then, the Moon Dragon still don't get it!

"I guess you had to be there." Fluttershy said to her friends meekly, shrugging a bit.

"You're right. I do need to be there." Twilight snaps back in frustration. Why didn't her friends invite her? She admit that the princess busy but they could've at least make time for Twilight!

"But you weren't! And neither were Ben and Nyx. And it's already happened!" Rarity explains to Twilight on that face. The white unicorn then have a thought. "Ooh, are you suggesting..."

"Time travel?!" Pinkie ask anxiously as she appears in the outfit of Marty McFly from the first Back to the Future, watch and sunglasses.

"Where did you get that get-up?" Ben ask Pinkie in bewilderment, having no clue where the pink pony got that outfit.

"None of your business!"

"Absolutely not! Time travel is not something to be messed with." Twilight said sternly. The Alicorn tried time travel one time and it didn't work...and even then, it's too risky to try! "We simply need to recreate everything that led to these jokes."

"Oh, what a brilliant idea!" Discord exclaims with glee, rubbing his hands together. "Shall we begin with the lunch date that kicked off the glorious weekend you and your family missed out on?"

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Ben mumbles, suspecting that this whole recreation may end up ending badly for Twilight.

"It will work, daddy. I'm sure it... Huh?" Nyx stops as she notices something nearby.

"What do you see, Nyx?" Phobos ask Nyx curiously. Something caught her attention.

Nyx quietly spoke to Phobos as she motions to a direction, "I think somepony is spying on us."

Sure enough, she could see, in the distance, a pair of binoculars poking out of a bush. The owner of those binoculars had a ponytail, which was purple, with a blue stripe, just like a con mare that tried to make ponies of a village be equal without cutie marks!

Nyx quietly mumbles, "That looks like Starlight Glimmer. Just like that restaurant in Canterlot. But what is she doing here in Ponyville?"

Whatever Starlight Glimmer is planning, it may be not good!

This is the present day.

"Speaking of Starlight Glimmer, I can't find the Equalizer's helmet anywhere!" Phobos scowls as he came into the room. The Moon Dragon was preferring to the helmet he used for last Nightmare Night which the heroes took after the fight with the Equalizer. It is nowhere in sight!

"Really? Have you looked twice?" Ben ask Phobos in bewilderment. The helmet couldn't just up and disappear! Could it?

"Yeah, but I still can't find it."

"Eh, I guess it will have to wait for later." Rainbow remarks with a shrug. The mystery as to what Starlight Glimmer is up to will be delayed...for now.

Meanwhile, in another location, which was another headquarters being used by the Dark Mystics...we find a certain mare entering the picture, namely Starlight Glimmer.

"It wasn't easy, but I managed to recover this." As Starlight Glimmer spoke, she pushes a small button on her collar piece, thus causing her helmet to retract onto her very being.

"All that for a stupid helmet?" Tech asked off in seeing this mare donning that Equalizer outfit, again.

"Hey! I wanted this back for...many reasons." The Equalizer issued off in trying to make some claim, while most of it sounded like she didn't have a clever reason.

"Never mind that. Did you find any information from Twilight Sparkle?" Seekcurse asked this off in getting down to another form of their discussion.

"Well, I did hear something about time travel." Starlight Glimmer stated this off as she retracts her helmet again to say this.

"Hmmm....it's against the morale rules of the Mystics to intervene in Time Travel Spells, the Jade Emperor even insured that no one that is both Mystic & Dark Mystic can use it." Seekcurse ponders this in recalling the matter that while the idea had merits, none of the Dark Mystics can perform the spell because of what a strong Mystic did to keep time travel safe from their meddling.

"What about Equestrians?" Starlight Glimmer asked if it was possible for anyone who is not a Mystic or a Dark Mystic to perform Time Travel Spells...

"Hugh, now that I think about it, records said Twilight went back to about a week from her future self from a certain object. The rest of the info is still fuzzy." Tech rubs his chin in recalling an event that Twilight went back in time to see herself, but there was nothing much of what would happen during that time.

"I see, thank you for that description....please, excuse me..." Starlight Glimmer responded off in having heard this before bowing down in wishing to be excused.

Now as Starlight Glimmer leaves the room, she begins to smile off with a hidden thought that came to her mind.

"Soon they will see & they will pay for what they have done. History will be made anew....they will feel my wrath. The wrath of..." As Starlight Glimmer was stating all of this, she retracts her helmet to don on the Equalizer disguise once more. "Starlight Glimmer!" With that, Starlight Glimmer leaves the scene completely while letting off an evil laugh under her mask. The scene goes dark for it seems something wicked will come shortly soon, but what it is will be a mystery...for now until it's revealed!

Discord smiles in satisfaction as he returns to his home. It's good to know that the former villain still has friends. Perhaps as long as he uses his chaos magic for fun and not too much mischief, perhaps Discord will get along quite fine with the ponies...until the next time he pulled a prank.

"Let's see what's going on." Discord said as he turns on the TV to show what's going on in other universes. "Hmmm...another South Park episode. Eh, too violent for me."

Discord flips through the channels, seeing more shows and movies.

"Friendship Games...too far into the future." Discord said as he flips to another channel. "Hello? The Season 5 finale of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic"?”

Discord watches the season finale, his eyes widen in worry and concern.

"By the Herd! If what this season finale is showing, all of Equestria will be in danger!" Discord exclaims, sitting up and floating back and forth. "What to do? I do not wish to ruin the season finale! Bad for me if the Bronies were to retaliate. What to do? What to do? What to do?"

Discord paces back and forth, then pauses as he thought of something. He looks up to the camera, saying, "Sorry, folks. This is too top secret and may take a while to explain so go to the next scene. Ciao!"

Later on at this time back at a Dark Mystic HQ location spot, we see Starlight Glimmer & Seekcurse approaching a room where they stop upon seeing the Dark Mystic; Amon.

"You summoned me, my Lord?" Seekcurse humbly spoke forth in which they were summoned by the guy.

"What is this about? I'm about to make my move." Starlight Glimmer stated in wanting this to be speeded up; she needs to get herself ready for a 'plan' she's got ready to be in motion after the right preparations are met.

"Tech informed me that you're interested in time travel. Is it true?" Amon asked this to the mare in recalling something that he heard the scrawny Dark Mystic of what Starlight Glimmer did when Tech mention Time Travel; a form that no Mystic or Dark Mystic can perform thanks to the Jade Emperor's handy work.

"Yes... I thought if I used that spell, we can bring equality to everypony and even Mystic Ponies." Starlight Glimmer lightly stated off to say the subject that since she is an Equestrian, she can use the Time Travel Spell banned from use for any Mystic or Dark Mystic alike & then bring what she's always wanted; equality.

"Oh... Starlight Glimmer, you still have much more to learn. You need to be more open minded for a bigger picture." Amon lightly shook his head in stating this fact of what the mare was doing, was not seeing a more 'bigger' picture of such things.

"I don't understand." Starlight Glimmer looked lost by the statement, what was Amon trying to say?

"I do. Rather than make equality, we change our enemies' fate and timeline. Am I right?" Seekcurse smiled off in thinking of what Amon meant, by undoing the fate of defeated foes from the timeline course up to the present, things will...change.

"That is correct. As long as Twilight & her friends remained standing in our way, we won't make any achievement to our success." Amon pointed this out in seeing that unless they change certain outcomes, then Twilight's Mane Six group will get in their way every time.

"Hmmm...that could work..." Starlight Glimmer rubbed her chin to ponder this in thought; while she is more focus on making all equal than being different, could it be that they need to change the history of defeated enemies to bring about different outcomes. Her mind seem a bit torn as if one side was thinking 'maybe' but something else was saying 'no' but was being pushed back into her deep thoughts.

"But to ensure that Twilight & her friends can never be together again, I suggest an army to assist us. If we can achieve much, then the Qin Dynasty will be grateful in helping us." Seekcurse suggested this off that they get an army that will help them keep such ponies from being together.

"Let us see what will happen, time travel tampering may create results that we may not even need an army if the enemy has never been born from certain encounters." Amon held up a hoof to calmly tell this to Seekcurse, when messing with the time stream to change fate of the destiny like the Mane Six, they may not even need an army if such a group never got together & thus began their road in protecting Equestria from all evil forces, etc. "Now my dear, this will be your priority. Do not fail me. Now go and make your final move." He turns to Starlight Glimmer in giving her this priority to uphold & not to fail them.

"Yes sir." Starlight Glimmer nods her head in having understood this very well.

Now Starlight Glimmer turns to leave along with Seekcurse following afterwards, leaving Amon alone.

"All will go as according to the plan. Even if she fails, we'll have at least obtain one achievement. And what that is....will be the greatest change in history. Of all the evil beings scattered & active across Equestria." Amon silently stated this off himself, as they will know, even if Starlight Glimmer does this, win or lose, something will occur that will make a change to everything....With that, everything goes dark with much questioning of what to expect...lies somewhere ahead in due...time.

Well, things oughta be interesting as my fics goes up to the Season 5 finale. We will get to that point someday. For now, time for the next fic. Normally, I would do a Equestria Girls fic next, but since I did that already with "Friendship Games Remake", I will go with this.

"Hearths-Warming Comes to Griffonstone: (set DURING "Hearths Breakers" but DEFINITELY before "the Cutie Re-Mark"]) Trixie and Gilda take a break from spying on the Apocalypse Ponies to try to give Gilda's family and friends in Griffonstone the best holiday possible. However, the duo end up stumbling on to a plot by Twilight Moon, Rainbow Chaos and Psycho Pie to steal an enchanted gem of incredible power that has been uncovered by the Royal Griffon Family. Can Trixie and Gilda thwart the plot without blowing their cover AND still give Gilda's family and friends in Griffonstone the great holiday they plan to?
Villains: Twilight Moon, Rainbow Chaos and Psycho Pie (main three villains); Cameos by the rest of the Apocalypse Ponies."
