The Odd Destruction of the Malevolence
Chapter 1: The Malevolence Crashes
The Separatist Subjugator-class heavy cruiser Malevolence, in hyperspace, was on its way to destroy the Republic fleet in the Ryndellia system. General Grievous, commander of the Malevolence, looked at his B1 Battle Droids known as Driver Battle Droids as they were manning the heavy cruiser. Grievous was on the podium with 2 Driver Battle Droids next to him. The Driver Droid on Grievous' left, looked up at him.
"Sir, we're experiencing a drag in the ship," the droid warned the General.
"What kind of drag?" Grievous asked the Driver Droid.
"Something's pulling the Malevolence away from the Ryndellia system," he told the Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies.
"Is the hyperdrive system working correctly?" the cyborg asked the droid.
"Umm...we don't know. We didn't catch it in time to know," the droid told the General.
Grievous groaned. He had to figure out what was messing with his ship.
"Find the source of thing on my ship. And bring it to me!" Grievous commanded the droids.
"Roger, roger!" the droid responded.
The droids on the Malevolence started to contact some B2 Super Battle Droids and droidekas to find the people behind this.
Indigo Zap and Starlight Glimmer were under the front Driver Battle Droids' seats.
"I don't about doing this, Starlight Glimmer," Indigo explained her thoughts on destroying the Malevolence.
"I need the people in Our Town to believe that we are a perfect town and we murdered an entire crew of droids!" Starlight explained.
Indigo thought. She then realized killing the Separatists would make her the top Shadowbolt, but she still didn't feel right murdering the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
"Hmm. Fine. I feel like I want to become a popular Shadowbolt!" Indigo stated, but sadly still.
Indigo and Starlight continued to "fix" the hyperdrive system.
4 droidekas and 2 B2 Super Battle Droids entered the Bridge of Malevolence from the turbovator. The droidekas rolled throughout the entire heroic Bridge.
"Sir, we've begun the search for the hyperdrive," the first B2 told General Grievous.
"Good. Whoever is on this ship will never capture me," Grievous told the entire crew of the Malevolence.
"I don't think anyone's on the ship General. Just battle droids," the Driver Droid on Grievous' right explained.
"NO!" the Front Driver Droid that had Indigo and Starlight under him yelled. "I feel something odd under my feet!"
Indigo looked at Starlight. "Our cover's blown! Let's get out of here!" she explained.
Indigo and Starlight ran from under the Driver Battle Droid's seat and headed towards the turbovator.
"Hey! Who are they?! They're not battle droids!" Grievous yelled.
"Your worst nightmare!" Starlight Glimmer yelled.
The droidekas tried to block them from escaping the heroic Subjugator, but Indigo kicked the droids to the ground. Grievous was worried. He'd never seen a talking a four-legged creature trying to attack his heroic ship.
"Come on, Indigo. Let's watch the Separatist Alliance fall!" Starlight said.
"Yup. Have a good one, Seps!" Indigo yelled at the heroic Separatist Alliance.
"STOP THEM!" Grievous yelled in rage.
The droidekas turned their lasers into stun, but the Shadowbolt and the light purple pony missed. They went down the turbovator and headed to one the hangars of Malevolence. Grievous groaned.
"Quickly! Alert all battle droids on the ship and tell them to watch out for a human and a four-legged creature that can talk!" the cyborg of the Confederacy of Independent Systems commanded. "Meanwhile, have some droids repair the Malevolence!"
"Roger, roger," the Driver Battle Droid on Grievous' left responded.
Indigo Zap and Starlight Glimmer were inside one of the hangars that carried Grievous' Belbullab-22 starfighter Soulless One.
"Let's steal that!" Indigo commanded.
"Can we both fit in that?!" Starlight questioned Indigo.
"You can sit on my lap! I'll fly us out of here!" Indigo said, bragging a little a bit.
"As you wish, Indigo Zap," Starlight Glimmer responded.
Then the two almost stole the Soulless One, but 2 droidekas ambushed Indigo and Starlight. They uncurled and raised their shields. Then they fired stun lasers, but Indigo and Starlight dodged them. Starlight tried to use her magic against the heroic droidekas but it did noithing to stop the droids.
"Your magic's not working!" Indigo yelled.
"I KNOW THAT INDIGO! Now let me concentrate on killing these droids!" Starlight Glimmer yelled back.
She then used telekinesis on the droidekas and sent them out of the hangar, killing the droidekas.
"Alright. Time to get into the fighter!" Starlight commanded Indigo.
Then they hopped into the Soulless One and waited for the Malevolence to come out of hyperspace. A B1 Battle Droid spotted the Soulless One. "Hey! Get out of the General's starfighter!" the heroic B1 yelled.
The Malevolence arrived out of hyperspace at the Dead moon of Antar, Inside the Bridge of the Subjugator-class heavy cruiser, Grievous was talking to Nute Gunray, Viceroy of the Trade Federation.
"We're losing control of the ship. It needs repairs!" Grievous told Gunray.
"Hmm. Try to send the Malevolence into the Confederate space Sector Four to our Secret Confederacy base to fix the cruiser," Gunray explained.
"As you wish," Grievous responded.
The, Grievous' OOM Commander Battle Droid that was on the Bridge of the Malevolence walked up to the General as Grievous cut off the Gunray hologram.
"Yes, Commander?" Grievous asked the OOM droid.
"One of the B1s reported that the four-legged creature and the human are inside your starfighter sir," the OOM Commander told Grievous the bad news.
"WHAT?!" Grievous yelled. "Get them out of my fighter!"
"Roger, roger. Getting them out of your fighter!" the OOM Commander said.
The hangar door opened, and Indigo Zap saw that was her time to take off. "Time to go!" she told Starlight Glimmer.
The Soulless One flew out of the hangar as several Vulture Droids launched from their Droid Fighter Clips and tried to stop them. The Soulless One flew and then went into hyperspace to Earth.
"Sir?" the OOM Commander asked Grievous.
"Yes?" the cyborg asked.
"We've lost your starfighter sir," the OOM Commander sadly said. "We're sorry!"
Grievous was furious. Not at the OOM Commander, but at Indigo and Starlight Glimmer. They stole his fighter, got the Malevolence headed towards the Dead Moon of Antar, and right now, they were probably laughing at the Separatists' mighty warship ready to fall.
"See if there are any escape pods!" General Grievous commanded.
"Yes, sir. We're really sorry we had lost your starfighter," the OOM Commander Battle Droid stated, sadly.
"It's not okay. But I'll forgive you for this," Grievous told the OOM Commander.
The Malevolence started head towards the Dead Moon of Antar. Grievous looked out of the window sadly. He knew there was no way they were going to get to Sector Four and repair this mighty Subjugator-class heavy cruiser. He then looked at the Driver Battle Droids.
"Drivers, prepare this ship for self-destruct!" Grievous commanded.
All of the Driver Battle Droids looked at the General if he was crazy. "Uh sir? Have you lost your brain?" a Driver Battle Droid asked.
Grievous glared at the Driver Droid. "I haven't lost my brain. The Separatists will only punish us for losing the Malevolence. So why not die and get it over with?! We've already lost the Malevolence. Those two really better know what they're doing. Because, I'm ready to die...for the SEPARATISTS!" Grievous explained to the entire Bridge of the Malevolence.
All of the Driver Battle Droids looked at each other. Even the OOM Commander looked at his Driver Droid underlings. "You're right, sir. We have to sacrifice the Malevolence. I don't even feel like repairing it anymore," he said.
"YEAH!" another Driver Battle Droid yelled. "Let's die for the Separatists!"
"Then set the Malevolence on self-destruct!" Grievous commanded.
A Driver Battle Droid hit the button for self-destruct. "Here we go. To Droid Heaven!"
The Malevolence started to blow up on the outside. The ship was later on fire and was very close to the Dead Moon of Antar. The Malevolence then zoomed into the moon. Back inside the Bridge of the Subjugator-class heavy cruiser, for the last time, Grievous looked at the moon.
"It's over. Goodbye, droids! It's been nice knowing you. Even if you aren't that smart all of the time, you're still my droids," Grievous said sadly.
The OOM Commander looked at his General. "And even though you sometimes punch off our heads and make us feel uncomfortable sometimes, you're still our Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies and our General," the OOM Commander said sadly as all of the droids nodded their heads and agreed.
Grievous walked over to his OOM Commander and hugged him. All of the other Driver Battle Droids walked up to Grievous and the OOM Commander and hugged them as well. Grievous opened his four arms to hug all of his Drivers.
The Malevolence, finally crashed into the Dead Moon of Antar, killing Grievous, all of the Driver Battle Droids, all 900 battle droids on the ship including B1s, B2s, droidekas, Rocket Battle Droids, and B2-HAs, as well as every other Separatist craft onboard the Subjugator-class cruiser.
The stolen Soulless One landed at Crystal Prep Academy. Indigo Zap got out of ship while Starlight Glimmer stayed in.
"Thanks, Starlight. Now, I'm going to back to school. I just hope everyone's happy about what I did!" Indigo stated.
"Yup! I hope so too!" Starlight said.
Then Starlight flew the Soulless One into the sky. Indigo walked towards the school. She saw Sour Sweet, Twilight Sparkle (Sci-Twi), Sunny Flare, Lemon Zest and Sugarcoat come out of Crystal Prep.
"Oh, hi girls!!" Indigo Zap stated.
"Hello, Indigo Zap! Where were you?!" Sour Sweet sweetly asked before saying, "Indigo, what did you do?!"
"Umm...I murdered an entire crew of battle droids and the Separatist Commander! So, what do you think of that?"
The rest of the Shadowbolts' jaws dropped.
"Indigo Zap, you DID WHAT?!" Lemon Zest yelled.
Indigo Zap chuckled before putting her hands behind her back. "Long story, Lemon Zest,"
"What you did back there was cruel. You should really not trust random ponies," Sugarcoat bluntly explained.
"WAIT! You know about that?!" Indigo yelled, worried.
"Indigo Zap, it's all over the news!" Sunny Flare explained. She then pulled out her phone. She quickly went on YouTube and pulled the the recent news called, 'Separatists Destroyed?'
"Watch this," Sunny Flare told Indigo.
The video started off.
"Breaking Battle Droid News! This is T-series tactical droid TF-1726 and I've just recently heard the mighty Subjugator-class heavy cruiser Malevolence was destroyed by the a human and a four-legged creature!" TF-1726 told the viewers. '
The next screen flipped over to Coruscant at the Jedi Temple with 3 V-19 Torrent Starfighters on patrol. Inside the Jedi Temple, the Jedi Council was upset as well.
"This is Grand Jedi Master Yoda of the Jedi Council. Pleased the Chancellor is with the destruction of the Malevolence, but the Jedi wanted to help it, before it was destroyed," Yoda told the interviewers.
The screen then flipped back to T-series tactical droid TF-1726.
"These criminals destroyed our Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies, General Grievous! They murdered 900 battle droids that weren't a threat to them. Also, here's what the Separatists said," TF-1726 said.
The screen flipped over to Admiral Trench's new Providence-class carrier/destroyer Invincible over Christophsis with several Vulture Droids and Hyena-class bombers passing the Bridge of the Providence. Inside the Bridge of the Invincible, Viceroy Nute Gunray, Foreman Wat Tambor, Admiral Trench and Chairman San Hill, were standing on the top-layer of the Bridge,
"I am very frustrated!" Gunray yelled, "They destroyed the Malevolence and the General of the Separatist Droid Army! The four-legged creature and the human will pay for this!"
"I agree also. I don't feel like going to Ryloth now," Tambor said, before switching his knobs on his chest.
"Hmm. Poor General. The Separatists will be sending recon droids across the galaxy to bring the human and the four-legged creature to the Separatists Providence-class carrier/destroyer Invincible. There, they will stand trial for their villainous actions," San Hill told the viewers.
The screen flipped back to TF-1726,.
"This is very bad, but we hope the Separatists will still win the Clone Wars. Have a good day...even though I'm not.." TF-1726 sadly said before cutting of the Breaking Battle Droid News.
Sunny Flare turned off the video. Everyone glared at Indigo Zap.
"Heh, heh. Sorry girls?" Indigo tried to apologize.
Sci-Twi was furious at Indigo.
"INDIGO! That was cruel!" Sci-Twi yelled.
"What do you mean?" Indigo asked.
"You murdered about 900 droids onboard the vessel. Indigo, that's...that's genocide!" Sci-Twi explained.
"Oops," Indigo said. Then she shrugged. "Well, who cares? They're just battle droids!"
"I care. Indigo, I'm never, ever TALKING TO YOU AGAIN!" Sci-Twi yelled.
And then she walked off back to Crystal Prep Academy. The rest of the Shadowbolts headed back except Sour Sweet. She walked up to Indigo last and told her sourly, "Indigo Zap, you have a lot to think about!"
Then Sour Sweet joined the rest of the Shadowbolts. Indigo Zap looked a little sad. I was only trying to help Starlight Glimmer and be a popular Shadowbolt! Sci-Twi's nuts! She doesn't understand! Indigo thought to herself.
