Equestria's Creation

Equestrian Origins: Chapter 1.

Long ago, before the time of our beloved princesses. The Alicorn race lived in what seemed like ever lasting peace on the far off planet of Equis. Queen Dawn & and King Dusk, The Marnarcy of this peaceful relm maintained tranquility and prosperity. However the two regents were not all powerfull. For even the strongest of hearts could be tainted by darkness. Over the years, the King grew tired of sharing the marnarcy with his beloved wife. This opened a gate for which darkness could corrupt his heart, and he spred his influence into the minds of all the citizens. filling there minds with lies and deception. This in turn sparked a civil war within the once regal nation. Only few remained loyal to Queen Dawn. But in time even her most loyal subjects and allies would betray her. Seven years passed as a violent war ravaged the once beatyful land. Dusk's army surrounded the palace. Dusk and Dawn where engaged in glorious battle. Dawn tried to reason with he beloved husband. But to no avail. the dark King had shown no mercy. He struck down the Queen as if she was a lowly street rat. Before he could finish the deed the all mighty creator Polaris appeared in a radient light.

The sight of the creator filled the King with fear, but he refuesed to show it. Polaris tried to reason with the Dark King. But again, to no evail. The King's hate for his wife and greed for the throne clouded his mind. Polaris' judgment was final. He spread his golden wings. He provieded a shield for the broken-hearted Queen and with a burst of  light he destroyed the entire planet with one flap of his wings. Leaving the wicked King minions to their fate. Solaris then made a new world . A world now known as Equestria. The Queen lay on the lush green grass of the new world. She was dying. She lay still breathing slowly each momment. Then finaly she asked Polaris to help her countinue her legacy. She wanted two foals that would one day rule this new world. He gladly agreed, he wanted to also continue the reign of one of his creations. He granted her two daughters. He gave them the gift of immortality. One that the previous alicorns did not have. The dying queen spoke out the last words she would ever speek.

"Celestia and Luna..."

The elegant queen had died relived to had suffer no pain while birthing her children. Polaris could not just leave the two foals alone with no mother and certainly any father to rais them into the rulers they were destained to become. On the two Princessess' Twentyieth birthday, Polaris granted them a gift. He created a race of ponys that shared attrabutes of an alicorn. The Unicorns that simbolized magic. The Pegesi that symbolized freedom. And the earth ponys which symbolized mortality. Along with a palace and housing for the citizens. The two sisters soon took the throne of their new relm. They gained controll over the forces of nature, another gift Polaris had given them. Celestia raised the sun at Dawn. Luna raised the moon at Dusk. This story has been told for thousands of years. Its the most popular story ever told. But yet a nother story would be told for thousands  of years. The tell of Nightmare Moon.

The City That Fell From The Sky: Part One

Off the cost of Equestria's mainland is thought to be the ruins of the ancient city of Atlas. This once great city was very highly advanced for it's time. The city is thought to have originaly belong to Equestria's eastern coast line. There are countless legends of this great city, one suggest that the city was a moving machine that sailed throgh the stars of space. Each timed it landed on an unsespecting planet. War broke out almost as fast as it had arrived. It's Inhabitants where large dogs like creatures, with huge horns coming out of there heads. The city laid waste to all of it's victims. One day the city feel from the sky and crashed a few kilometers away from Canterlot Castle's marble walls.

Pony from miles away gathered to behold this massive structure. News of this astonishing event finally reached the two princesses. With haste they quickly arrived at the sceen. Indeed, it was a massive city. Princess Luna urged Celestia to go inside this unknown and not to mention unsafe city with her. Five guards accompanied them as they cautiously roamed through the city.

Then, an unexpected cry startled and forced the guards to there wits. A somewhat pony looking creature crawled out of some rubble. It's Legs where blown off and it's horns cracked and broken. Luna ran toward the creature trying to assure it would be saved. Soon more cries called out, there cries pierced through Luna and Celestia's own heart.  A creature stepped out of a shadow and slowly made it's way to the Princesses. The guards immediately stepped infrom of the Princesses ready to give there lives if the situation called for it. The creature stopped and introduced himself.

"I am Magma, King of the Wolves." He said proudly, but with a hint of weakness.

Without warning he fell to the ground. Luna tried to rush over only to be pulled back by Celestia's magic. He stood up, his knees trimbling, and a large scar across his fore-head and down across his back. "My people where just attacked by an armada of Tigars, and our city came crashing down pnto your planet....Im teri-" He dropped to the ground again. It was at that point that Celestia ordered the guards to head back and round up any volenteers to help treat the many wounded wolves. Only weeks past and most of the wolves had recovered. Thoose few weeks King Magma had recovered in only five days and was establishing a friendship with the princesses.

"Please, stay as long as you like Magma." Celestia said as she smiled and was relived he did not mind the informality.

"I'm sorry Celestia, but my people must return to the stars as soon as possible. I have a score to settle with thoose Tigers." He said angerly.

They stepped into the courtyard to bord a chariot to the crash site. They landed just a few yards away from a massive gate.

"Well Celestia, I thank you for your kindness" Magma said in a evil tone.

"Oh, it was no promblem at al-" Before Celestia could finish, Magma leaped up and dug his claws in to both of her wings. Celestia screemed in pain. She used her magic to throgh him off of her. He slid across the ground his feet digging into the dirt.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Celestia raved ferociously. King Magma stood there with a small smirk on his face. His eyes filled with a murderess intent. He circled Celestia, taunting her without saying a single word. Other wolves arose from nowhere and circled her. It was then King Magma finally spoke.

"You see Celestia, my people are warriors. We know nothing but killing, and living to kill another day. We thrive on the adrenaline of battle. We go planet to planet conquering and taking anything we see fit. But our main goal....Our maing goal is to conquer the entire universe!" Magma screemed to the top of his lungs signling the wolves to attack.

They formed a dog pile on her, pinning her down. King Magma walked over to her, her neck was on the ground ready to be hacked away at. King Magma smiled with glee and raised his claws into the air. As he swooped down for the kill Celestia had already vanished with a teleportation spell. Celestia transported into Luna's bed chamber. Luna jumped up in suprise and then rushing over to see the scars on her sister's wings. Luna most certainly woundered what happened, But decided it wasn't the best time to ask.

"Guards! Guards! Come quickly, my sister has been attacked!"

Not a moment after Luna's call they barged into the room. they all where stunned to see there all powerful princess in such a horrid state. Althogh she was imortal, she was not invincible. A medic rushed in and like all the others he was shocked. He and a team of doctors carried her into the palace infermory to treat her. The following day Luna rallied the citizens of Equestria and informed them of the attack on the "Sister-Rule". Everypony was shocked with disbelife, That shock then turned to hate for who ever did this. The citizens yelled to the top of thier lungs. Everypony stomped there hooves jump up on thier hind-legs in support of Celestia. Everypony knew what it ment. Equestria was going into her first war.

The City That Fell From The Sky II

The war raged for many years. Both races of wolves and ponies clashed with iron and steel. The land was tragically scared and often at times you would come across a field littered with ash, fire, and the bodies of countless soldiers. Celestia had long recovered form her attack and was aiding Luna in the attempt to rid there land of this plague. However, Luna had begun to change. Her mercy and compation was replaced by bitter ruthlessness and hate. The war had scarred her badly. Her face was tattered with cuts and scars. A few months earlier the wolves attacked the castle and the two princesses where forced to flee. They where held up in the country side, with a cloaking spell to hide there camp. Only few soldiers remained. The rest where just old colts, mares, and foals, and the wolves were closing in. Equestria had lost so much. The only thing they gained, was a body count.

A messenger was sent and was met by one of the guards, It was from King Magma. Requesting peace.

“Surely he does not think we would fall for such a low trick....?” Luna said in a surprised tone of voice. Celestia stood silent, pondering the situation. “Tia? Tia!?” Celestia was pulled from her trance. “What?” Celestia asked slightly annoyed. “I was saying that we should bring all of our soldiers to the treaty signing and when there guard is down, we ambush them! We could crush them and rid them from our land!” Celestia was shocked with her sister’s ruthlessness. But, the only thing she could say was. “That’s no good Luna. There’s no telling if they are planning to do the same thing. If it where to happen. We would surely be defeated.” Celestia said in a low voice.

“We still should try!”

“We would be wasting the lives of our faithful soldiers!”

“So what!?”

Celestia backed away. “You...you don’t care about the lives of our men? The men that took up arms ready to fight for us without request? How, Luna.....How!. How can you be so cruel? Luna, what happened to you?” Luna stood silent. She locked gazes with Celestia. Her eyes emitting embers of hate and arrogance. “You are weak....” She said in a low voice. “What?” Celestia asked in a some-what scared voice.

“YOU ARE WEAK! WE WILL NEVER DEFEAT OUR ENEMY WITH YOUR WORTHLESS LEADERSHIP!” Luna raved up and down the main tent. “Luna......” With that utter of her name, a gust of dark wind flew into the tent and surged around Luna. Her eyes started to grow and she increased in size. Her dark blue coat was replace by pure black. The guards rushed to the tent, swords at the ready. Luna brought her hooves up, and with a mighty stomp she sent them flying.

“I’ll see you again, Tia. But first, there are some troublesome wolves I have to deal with...” and with a bone-chilling laugh she spun her mane into a vortex and vanished into dust. She was heading toward the fallen city.
