Shard rubbed his face with his right hand as he lay down on his couch. He had spent a few hours with the girls trying to track down Mise but to no avail, he had disappeared. Octavia said that she would look for him and make sure that Shard knew when she had found him. The girls and him had all exchanged numbers so that they could inform him if they ever needed his help, which he was morally bound to do. Sometimes he questioned his morals, but realised that with all the things he did for people he was racking up karma points, and in this world karma rules with an iron fist. Seriously, there is a guy in this world that is basically karma in human form. The guy I'm talking about is a young man by the name of Roden Godswell, another PoME character of my creation.

But enough shameful promotion. Shard lay on his living room couch, questioning his reasons for going along with getting involved with the IRA. "I swear the things I do for women..."

Rayliegh looked at Shard from the kitchen as he was washing dishes. "At least you can say that you know how to treat a girl right." The robot said, trying to reassure his creator.

Shard smiled slightly. "Heh...yeah, I guess I can." Shard looked to the clock above his fireplace, reading five thirty. "I should go get ready, the date is in half an hour." He got out of his comfy position and began to walk towards the stairs.

"Master Shard?" Shard turned to Rayliegh who was floating over to him with a cup in his pincher. "A little pick-me-up for the date tonight, don't want Miss Doo to see you in such a tired state now do we?" The robot asked cheerfully.

Shard smiled at his butler and took the cup, which was filled with a fizzy green liquid. "Aunt Lapis' energy herbs?" He asked with a knowing smile.

"Yes, she stopped by while you were out with those lovely ladies, she said she had a feeling you could use it."

"...Ruby told her about my date didn't she?" Shard asked with annoyance.

"Yes." Rayliegh replied with a hint of annoyance as well.

"Hey Ray, do me a favour and slip a few of Cousin Emeralds sleep herbs into Rubys juice tomorrow morning."

Rayliegh chuckled and gave a playful salute. "As good as done sir!" He said in his cheery voice.

Shard smiled and downed the fizzy liquid, handing the cup back to Rayliegh before walking up the stairs to his room. As he quickly got into his suit he looked to the clock. "Five thirty five...gotta few more minutes, why not get a little bit of the second best game ever into today?" He asked himself while walking over to his PC which already and the game he was talking about loaded up, Undertale.

As he loaded his last save he smiled as the next character he would meet was one of his favourites, Muffet. As the battle in-game began he began to take the necessary steps to end the battle without killing the opponent all the while listening to some of the games greatest music.

The battle ended and both parties walked away unharmed. He found a save point and closed the game before walking out to his car...first waiting to see if his dad was going to ambush him again. Not seeing his father around he nodded before getting into his car and driving off towards Ditzy's home to pick her up, nervous as hell.

"Maybe listening to Spider Dance will calm me." He said as he pulled up the Undertale soundtrack and selected the theme if the enemy he had just faught.

As Shard pulled up outside the house with the passenger seat facing the house for his girlfriends convenience, Shard walked up to the door before knocking a few times.

Inside Ditzy jumped at the sudden knocking and blushed heavily as she imagined what the night would be like. She took in a deep breath and made sure her outfit was sitting perfectly before walking to the door and opening it.

As soon as Shard saw her his eyes widened and his jaw dropped slightly with the sound of glass breaking as his composure went right through a window. She was wearing a yellow dress that hugged her figure perfectly, her hair was done up just a bit but not differently from the way she usually wore it.

Ditzy just blushed as Shard looked her over with his shocked expression. "Ditzy...you...you look...magnificent." He expressed as he took one of her hands and held it up to kiss. But as soon as he did he let go and bowed his head. "I am not worthy..." He said quietly but playfully.

Ditzy blushed and giggled adorably, resulting in Shard blushing as he remembered that the beautiful and adorable girl in front of him was his, and he was hers. He lifted his head, cupped Ditzy's cheek and brought her into a meaningful kiss, causing her to moan in bliss as she closed her eyes and placed her hands on his chest while he held her cheek and waist.

They separated and gently put their foreheads together, looking into each other's eyes lovingly. Their love, it wasn't just a high school romance, it wasn't something they just thought would last forever but would just end up not going anywhere. Their love for each other was real, it was there and it would live for the rest of their lives, the kind of love that many people seek in their lives but cannot hope to ever discover what it really was, this kind of love...was known as true love.

Shard took Ditzy's hand and began leading her to the car so that they could start their evening together. Shard, Ditzy, Ruby, Rayliegh...everyone knew that they would stay together forever, and in the back of both of their minds they knew that one day marriage was guaranteed.

Meanwhile, Cybe entered a secret room inside the CyCorp building. One source of light shone from the far end of a long, dark room, the walls with multiple tiny lights and circuits built into them.

As the cyborg reached the far end of the long room he looked at the large green computer screen what had two yellow blocks looking at him like eyes, the computer was watching him. "So, you've actually come to visit me? That's a surprise, and I know you wouldn't come down here to see me without wanting something from me. So go ahead, spit it out." The computer spoke in an echoed voice.

Cybe didn't react to the computers bluntness. "Soledad, what I need you to do is very simple." He began, the computer still looking to him. "When Shard Storm gets here, and if he beats me in battle, I want you to resume control of the facility until I have recovered, if I am not killed that is, if that's the case the control of CyCorp goes to Nathan Phoenix, understood?"

"Transparently..." Soledad replied. As Cybe nodded and began walking away, Soledad began to form a plan. "So, all I need to do is get that employee to best the cyborg, and then I gain control of the entire system? Looks like I'll need to help out this 'Shard Storm.'" The advanced AI began to formulate plans as it continued to run its basic operations, preparing for his chance at a takeover.
