Chapter 62: A tale worth telling
Previous Chapter Next Chapter"Yes dear."
"Err, right Mom...soooo..."
"As I told you before Gilda, the money will be transferred to you and your Sisters account come the morning. Do try and use it for something other then booze and food mmm?"
"Psh, whatever...............thanks Mom."
"Of course my dear, do keep your Sister focused on her studies will you? Not all of us are as gifted as you to hold down a oh so well paying, part time, minimum wage job."
"....I hate you so much."
"I love you too darling."
With the sharp tap to her phone's end call button, Doctor Pluto smiled. Her dark lips turning cruel in the mockery of the gesture. Sliding the mobile device into the pocket of her lab coat, the physician strolled with lean femine shoulders back. The long halls of Canterlot Hospital and its ceiling high windows casting the mid day night over her tall features. Emerald toned locks dipped down her large frame like a cloak. The perfectly straight green mane hugging over developed hips that swayed in the finest of fashion and silks. She walked with poise and grace, yet moved like a jungle cat on the hunt.
A passing orderly shrunk into a recess at the mere sound of her clipped high heels. Long dark fleshed legs causing her french-cut skirt to curl over hidden muscles. When coming across the cowering man, the Doctor gave an almost predatory grin at the sight of his paled expression. Sultry lips shifted from the cocky dominance over her first born but a moment ago, to the wild lust a middle aged adulteress such as she might prompt with but a shack of wide hips.
The tremble of her phones vibrate drew the huntress from her prey with a light curse. Almost neon green eyes shifted to her black fleshed hand as she took up her phone again. The glowering face of Gilda, her first born Daughter appearing as the caller. With an eye roll she answered the phone none the less. The prospect of hearing from her screw up of a tomboy daughter, not high on the obstetrician's priority list.
"Yes dear?"
Again the wicked grin played her lips.
"Mom, listen. Ahem...Gabby needs another hun..."
"Darling, what has Mommy told you about lieing?"
"Don't...get caught?"
"Correct."
"Sigh...look..."
"No Dear, perhaps it is you who should "look". You must think me a idiot to believe your whole "I am letting my little Sister live with me so she can go to school" bullshit story. Why not tell Mommy how much your REALLY in debt instead of sponging off your 19 year old sibling who is actually trying to make something out of her life?"
"...Oh fuuuUUuuuck you!"
Snickering under her breath, the tall women grinned all the more.
"I am waiting my Dear."
Gilda leaned back from her ancient land line phone. The tangled cord wrapped around one lite cigarette holding hand as the ex-gangster grumbled and tucked the phone into her neck and ran her free hand through her spikey purple and white hair.
"Fine...look! I told you I was out, but Wheel Break still owes me and the boss won't let stop emailing photo's of...nevermind, look I just need a few hundred and I can square that shit ok!"
The physician stopped at the entrance to her office, her ever eagerness to meet a new pregnant client, especially one of the "Dazzle" family, was lost at the tone in her eldest Daughters voice.
"Gilda...I know that tone."
"Mom, come on..look I got it ok I just..."
"YOU, you may have it. That I believe my dear. But YOU are not Gabrielle are you?"
"..."
"...They know about her don't they?"
"Sigh, yes..."
"Black mailing you are they?"
"Mom..."
Lowering the phone, the instinct in her burning as the dark flesh women glared at her own name printed on the door infront of her. No one threatens her family, especially HER children. Snapping the phone up, the obstetrician growled her words in such a way it almost sounded as if an echo had entered her throat.
"Names, tonight."
"Mom you should'nt..."
"I SAID, names, tonight. Email, text, whatever. You WILL get me them, all of them. And the two of you are moving home, no argument. I won't have to you tied to what is about to happen. Do I make myself CLEAR?"
The boyish women on the other end of the phone grumbled something and the sounds of movement could be heard.
"Shit fine...aint like we are gonna be around anyways, if this turns out anything like Manehatten..."
"You two WILL be on a bus, tonight, and I expect you for dinner. Mommy will take care of your little fuck ups...again. Permanently..."
Gulping as the call was ended, Gilda starred at her phone and ruffled her short mane of hair.
"Thanks Mom..."
Looking down at her phone for a moment, Chrysalis grinned at the thought of getting to make use of her old contacts in Whineyapolis. Putting on a more "humane" expression, the tall women stroade into her office with all the meekness of a lioness atop her pride...standing over a dozen bodies of her prey.
