"oh...my..."

Fluttershy lowered her half read magazine. The gentle eyes of the animal lover rested upon the nurse stations wall clock.

"It's already after midnight, oh poor Sunset..."

A half growled, half rasped jockish voice snipped from the far corner of the hall. Rainbow Dash had posted up as close as security was allowing her to get to the ward doors. No amount of time had been lost on the baseball star, she swore a tooth had cracked after her hours of grinding them together.

"Ya, right!? How long they going to make us wait??"

"As long as it takes darling."

"Psh, whatever Rare's."

"Rainbow!!"

The pixie like fashion goddess rested a well manicured hand atop her pink haired friends. Smiling gently she eased the heavily endowed women, and cast a soft look over her red rimmed glasses at Rainbow Dash.

"My dear, really. What more can we do? If you where in their right now, what, would you birth the little one for her. We all understand and share your concern darling. But after what happened with Aria..."

Her regal gaze snapped to the slumped form of the Sirens resident giantess. Sonata only twitched and tightened her grip around the amazon like farmer that sat with her.

"...We can not afford any further..."

"AARRRGGGUHHHHH!"

The husky, pained filled voice of the Rainboom leader, poured out from behind the now open ward door. A nurse came bolting out and in flurry of movement, was at the desk and grabbing for her phone.

"Something happened! Some sort of..explosion. The machines are all down, it just came out of no where!"

Her fellow nurse behind the desk wasn't able to even open her mouth, let alone question her colleague, before they where both swarmed by the on edge pack of friends.

"What do you mean an explosion?!"

"Everybody all right in their?"

"This is unacceptable, you have kept us out here this entire time with no word and now our friends are in da..."

"WHAT ABOUT DAGI AND SUNNY!!??"

From behind the desk, rose a harsh eyed nurse. The brazen red cross snapping from the sides of her skirt, at the jerk of her sudden movement.

"As nurse Warm Heart has said, we have no idea what is going on. More over you can rest assured it is being handled in a prompt and professional matter."

Another of Sunset's cries burst from the again opened ward doors, this time a doctor had arrived. Blood and other fluid splattering his garments.

"We need both you two, we are moving her to a new room. It's like a bomb went off...There was this golden light and..ugh, just hurry! You girls, remain here."

"Like hell Doc!"

Ironically it was the wide frame of Pinkie Pie who spoke up. Her girth came in great value as the bulk of her flank shoved the doors open and the group of friends bull rushed inside.

The scene they would come bare to witness, was truly out of this world. There in the center of the hall, a half transported bed of the heavily pregnant Sunset shimmer. Adagio at her side, clinging to her wife for dear life, sat a scene of pulsing golden light, sparks and bursts of energy. As she agonized in birthing pains, Sunset's pony ears had appeared, as well as her horn and wings, sweat soaked garments did little to hide her transformation.

"Push my love, you have to push now!"

Screaming at the top of her lungs she bore down, her wife's hand a pulp beneath her grip. Yet Adagio made no move to pull away, instead the motherly eldest Siren leaned in all the closer and rested her free hand atop her loves hugely swollen belly.

"For her now love. Let her see her first new day."

A final scream.

And then nothing.

A mingle of Rainbooms and Siren, gathered in a huddle around the hospital bed. Clenched fists and gritted teeth, fell away to wide eyed open stares and tears of joy.

Not a breath was drawn, until a new sound filled the darkened hospital hallway. The newborn daughter of Adagio and Sunset Dazzle, made its presence known. Her cries long and loud for all to hear as tiny golden fists curled and ebbed in her Mother's arms. A tuft of blazingly yellow mane sprang from her brow. With eyes clenched tight, it was Adagio who's gentle touch stroked the girls cheeks as Sunset held her new born close to heaving chest.

When the cries stopped, tiny eyes flashed open for the first time. And every breath in the hall was drawn anew as a single ruby, and its matching twin, a startling water blue, took in the world of love, friendship and family around her.

They say a babies laugh, is the most treasured sound in all of time and space. As a closing ring of friends, and loving mothers stared down, few would argue this statement.

And so, we have this stories OC.

As I mentioned in another note, this tale will have a memory jump from time to time. Perhaps backwards, perhaps forwards.

Also while this IS a Sundagio fiction, do expect highlights on the other girls as well. I could only dream of a scenario where a young 4-5ish (still un-named, I have a vote held, send me a note with your suggestion! You have time, we are gonna get the "oh crap what do we name her?" chapter next, lol) daughter of the two golden gals, being taken to see Auntie Dash play at one of her games. Or the first time Flutters shows her a puppy. Or how about a day out with Aunties Rarity and Sonata??

So many possibilities.

Now I should take this time to address a few notes I have gotten. You may have noticed the rather "real" if not "harsh" tone to this story. The vulgar use of terms, having characters have addictions, or fighting for money. Etc. I will say now and forever, none of these gals are getting past second base, so if your looking for hentai, keep moving.

Also, while many of you have left rather encouraging notes to the tone of this story (thank you by the way) I know it may not be for all. "But SW, why does Pinkie have to be the fat one?" or "Does Rarity always have to be some half starved super model in everyponies story?" or my fav "Soooooooo, there all lesbians, right?"

To answer the first, Pinkie isn't just "fat" in this story, she is a damn labor worker who builds sky scrappers! Go earth ponies! (her as a baker was getting tired :shrug:). And for the second question. Short of ending up pregnant in her own right, I can't picture Rarity as anything other then a wafer thin, petite framed model type. And finally, the dyke question. Well, if you noticed, many of the girls ARE paired up. But two very specific ones, ARE NOT.

Last but not least...I really don't see human Twiley making an appearance.
