The song of summer
Chapter 44: A forgotten promise
Previous Chapter Next Chapter"Hmm, hmm! You got this girl!"
Sunset Dazzle, stood before her bedroom's full length mirror and marveled at her own figure. The soft red's and sharp blacks of the room mingled in her reflection. The sharp desk light showing off her body in shadow, allowing every thick curve to be flaunted in simple bra and panties. Bending her left arm, the strain of tight flesh over well worked bicep muscles filled her ears, and her cocky grin only grew.
"Who says Mama aint still working this? Eh?"
In her self driven ego and monologue, the Alpha female lowered her arm, allowing the gym worn fingers to clamp over her love handle laden hip. Always one to keep her word, for right or wrong. She kept her promise to her mate, Adagio. Not a moment was spent in the Dazzle house holds gym that wasn't upper body day. Her figure reflected this. The hour glass shape she bore was beyond exaggerated. Bulbous butt checks swallowed up the gentle black of her underwear, in a seat of round curves and thick fat. The soft bubble that was her tummy, stretch mark free from her pregnancy, hung a bit, but was cute in the right blouse or shirt. Her laden bosom sat heavily in the silken garment. Twin orbs of dark tanned flesh swayed with each flex of her upper body. Collar bone showing fully, as well as each tendon and vein in her forearms, Sunset smirked and winked at herself.
"Well, enough looking this good! Duty calls!"
Turning from her reflection and grabbing a hairbrush, she drove it through her fiery mane and bent at the hips, digging for something to wear. A few minutes later, with hip hugging jeans that showed off her muffin top and thick thighs, the leader of the Rainbooms sat at the edge of her and her wifes nest, or as humans called it, bed. Having slipped on a form fitting tank top of a gentle maroon, her mingled cutie mark at its center.
Sunset had been adamant in her beliefs when she and Adagio had married and become a mated pair all those years ago. Her wife had agreed to new traditions. It was a new world after all. Equestria may have been the duo's birth place, but it was now long since past being they're home. The brazen duel colored Sun that was her mark, had at its center a over sized orange gem. She wore it proudly, as many of her garments including the calf high black leather biker boots she clicked there straps into place had upon it.
Standing she finished with a over sized belt, a gift from Applejack. The thick cow leather barely fit in the femine loops of her skin tight jeans, but it was the buckle she was most proud of.
"Never say an Apple can't be the center star of a meal!"
As the soft puff of her tummy sat just over the lip of the over sized belt buckle, it rested beneath her navel, showing off the mark of the Dazzle Pack. Sunset grinned proudly at the symbol. It was simple, yet spoke volumes of how far the extended family, and her own brood had come. The human number of "3" shown in a lace of colors. Red, Yellow, and Orange washed the numeric icon.
With a pat at buckle, a quicky habit for good luck. Sunset made for the living room. While the Dazzle home was small by human standards, it suited the family perfectly. Passing the short hall, a dozen pictures on either side of events shown like a slide show. The framed birth certificate of Sunray. There wedding photo. Rainbow Dash hitting her first home run and double jump stomping the home plate. A grease soaked copy of Sonata's first pay check at "Lucky star burger". The first love note from her mate. Sunset paused at this one, she traced her fingers over the simple scrap of paper in its glass protected frame.
- I can see you my little Phoenix....don't keep me waiting in the darkness. I long for your light.-
-Adagio, your stalker...!
With a snorted laugh, the six and a half feet of tomboy chuckled in her husky voice.
"Dag's you had me at "my"."
With a kissed fingers to the glass frame, Sunset strolled into the kitchen. Her heavy road worn boots stomping as she made for the fridge. It was Saturday, thus a day without working on someone elses ride, and a day off from the work out bench. Meaning...BEER TIME! Snapping the fridge open, the dozen or so hand drawn pictures of her Daughter flapping against it. The Alpha female dug for her favorite tonic and grinned at finding a new six pack of the overly cheap beer behind the milk.
"That women is too good to me!"
Leaning back with a pair of cans in hand, she patted her jeans clad rear end, the sway of her heavy bottom causing her to giggle.
"And too you..damn chubby chaser."
Closing the door, her teal eyes followed the movement even as she lifted a freshly popped top to her lips. Confusion ran them as she slurped loudly at her drink. At the center of her Daughter's many works of childish doodles, sat the family calendar. August 7th was circled. Saturday the 7th...today? She blinked and starred at the simple marking of red and pondered.
"What...hmm, I wonder what...oh snap!"
Her free hand did just that, fingers clicking.
"Tia and Lulu are coming over with the girls!!!"
A giddiness swarmed her large figure. It had been a full month since seeing the "Mothers of many" as she called them. With five little ones, three barely three years old, and two new borns, the fiery haired women had not expected to see much of them. But finally, Luna had relented and come out of her "Nesting" phase and had agreed to come over. With a teeth filled grin, Sunset made for the living room.
"Dagi! Do you know what today i......shit..."
Stopping dead in her tracks as the scent of overly sugary Dairy filled her nose, the biker turned Mother frowned. She was going to need another beer. Gulping at the one she carried, her eyes narrowed at the scene before her.
Sunray, the love of her life and light in her darkness. Sat happily in the center of the room. Before her blared the television, some show with a bright blue dinosaur was on. The almost four year old was singing along and yanking on a dolls few remaining limbs and hair. Oblivious to the scene behind her, the girl was in child heaven as she slurped at a juice box, a recent addition, the sippy cup having gotten out dated.
No, Sunset was instead leering at her wife and mate. Who looked little more then an unkempt orange rug with a nose sticking out. Adagio sat in the center of the family's tiny couch. Not bothering to have dressed, fixed her wild bush like hair, or even showered. Instead she took solice of the weekend in a tub of nearly finished ice cream. The six gallon pile of calories reeking of strawberry. Sunset knew that flavor well, the smell of depression.
"Dags?...Baby?"
A grunt from beneath the cloak of hair answered her, followed by a muffled belch and scratch as a sweet stuffed tummy.
With an eye roll and a flop of her own at her lovers side, the tomboy yanked the dripping spoon from her lovers grip.
"You gotta get over this love...I mean come on! You should be happy for your Sister! Aria is besides herself! I mean just yesterday, she went SHOPPING.....WITH RARITY!....For BABY STUFF! Can you freaking believe that! Her! Our big bad guard dog beta bitch! Eagerly pawing threw stacks of baby clothes!"
The silence between them after Sunset's attempt to break the curse of her lovers hurt ego, was deafening.
"Happy?"
With a inner cringe that froze her to her core, Sunset gulped. Adagio barely stood over 5'3. She was the epitome of tiny and petite. Sure she had a hip line that could cause astronaut in space to pop wood, but she was far from a physical threat. But when her voice hit that tone...baby kittens died.
"Ba...babe?"
Glareing red orbs showed from beneath her mane of orange curls. A sneer playing over strawberry covered lips.
"Happy?!? You wan't me to BE HAPPY?!"
"Well...duh! She is having twins, what's the big deal. I swear you three are so nuts about this "one ups menship". Damn!"
Sunset barely had time to let her beer can lower from her lips before her nose was pushed in by its loving mates. Adagio snarled into her lovers face and only kept her voice down for they're daughters sake.
"I am the leader! I am the oldest! I was the first to mate, to find the MOST PERFECT, female this world has to offer. I gave her a Daughter of beauty and grace, one who will steal the very heart of any mortal!...and that fat assed, muscle bound, thug of a chain smoking, booze swigging, giantess...GET'S TO HAVE TWINS?!?!?!"
With a sigh, and a firm wrapping over her lovers narrow shoulders, Sunset gave a tired smile. This had been going on for nearly a week. Ever since the beach side reveal, the Alpha Siren had withdrawn. She didn't respond to any of Aria's texts, ignored Gorrz and her when they where home, Aria still kept her room down stairs much to Sunset's coaching. And barely took part in social activates. Sunny was no physic major, but she knew jealousy when she seen it.
"Hey..hey.."
Sweeping up her mates lowered chin, she cupped her yellow cheek and stole a firm, hard kiss. The muffled resistance of the raging Siren, was soon smoothed over into soft mews and moans as the embrace was returned. With a near full minute of breathing to pass between them after, Adagio mumbled something.
"....Fine..."
That was enough for the tomboyish mother, she grinned and flicked her mates aroused nipple through her pj's and grinned at the startled "eep" Adagio made.
"Good! Now get that tank ass up! Get dressed, and get ready! Tia and Lulu are coming over, remember?"
"Shit! I forgot!"
Sweeping up from the couch in a whirl wind of hair, the mated Siren bolted from the room. Never one to miss a chance to "look good" for the mated Siblings, she loved to show off. Sunset went to open her second beer when the evil grin of her mate, soon followed by the rest of her face peaked around the corner.
"And who are YOU to call someone's butt big?"
Standing just enough to wiggle her wide rear at her mate, Sunset burst into laughter as her lover made a lude gesture with her tongue in return. Settling down to watch her Daughter at play, Sunset sighed at ease. That fire was quick enough to put out, she would have to thank her own teachers for the excuse. As she lifted her can to drink, a sharp knock at the back door of the tiny kitchen caught her attention.
"Uhh?"
Spying the clock, her head cocked. It was barely eleven, rather early for the Sisters to be coming over. Shrugging and downing her beer in a long gulp, not wanting the third degree from Celestia about drinking so early, she tossed the can away and paused to spy her Daughter.
"Rayray, do Mama a favor and be good. No touching the remote, k?"
The duel red and teal eyes of the young immortal glanced up at her Mother, and waved the nearly ruined doll at her.
"K-k Mama!!"
Smirking at the lingo of her now Sibling, Sonata, having worn off on the child. Sunset chuckled and made for the back door, her strong grip wrapping the handle as she pulled it open a brazen smile washing her proud features.
"Hey ladies! You could have just come in through the......oh fuck me..."
"I had though I had raised you better then to use such langue, Sunset Shimmer."
Celestia, stood before her. But gone was the rather chubby and tall frame of her former teacher. Instead, clad in a white tunic/robe like a greek goddess, the overly fertile figure of the door filling body causing the fabric to strain. Sun darkend flesh masked over multi toned locks, as a single piercing eye leered out from beneath.
"P..P..pr..rincess?"
"Hello, Sunset. You have some explaining to do."
