“And that’s why some say we should investigate Fort Knox.” The reporter’s voice emits from the speakers on a young boy’s laptop as he sits in the car, the rain steadily drumming against the exterior.

“Thank you, Bill. In other news, A strange electrical phenomenon has been witnessed during these recent storms-” The video suddenly halted, stopped by the boy, who seemed to be uninterested in the news he already knew. A scowl played cross his face, A common occurance for him.

“Butler, how long until we reach the manor?”

The massive man driving the car simply glanced at the rearview mirror to the right of him.

“Around 5 minutes, Artemis.”

Artemis sighed, he felt irritated for some reason. Something wasn’t right. He glanced out the window, then suddenly stared again, transfixed by the event unfolding before him.

Several balls of energy (presumably electricity,) came barreling towards the car, each one at a slightly different angle.

“Butler, I think you may want to hurry. Now.”

The manservant immediately sat straight in his seat. Artemis had never used that tone except when...

A huge flash of light blinded Butler and Artemis, and a sudden burst of sound came crashing down on their ears.

Then...

Nothing.

Twilight was in her study, reading as always, when a loud ‘BANG’ resonated across Ponyville, shaking her house and cracking a window. She jumped a little, startled at the influx of sound. And when she was sure the world wasn't ending and her house wasn't falling apart; she carefully set her book down, and walked outside after opening the door. What she saw outside of her house was very... interesting.

A great black thing on wheels appeared to have exploded into existence, leaving itself on her front yard. She could see two creatures inside it, unconscious.

“Um, hello?” She said, hoping for a response.

The two unconscious figures didn’t reply.

Twilight mulled over her options for a moment, before trying to find a way to get them out.
