"Come on Fluttershy, I really don't want to hear another lecture from Twilight!" Rainbow dash said as she flew above the trees of Everfree forest.

"Oh please slow down a little bit Rainbow," Fluttershy said as she barely dogded the tip of a tree, "being in hurry won't do anything good for us."

Rainbow turned towards her friend, "Listen, I really don't want to hear from Twilight about how we are always late." She said as she flew backwards, "Not to mention whose fault it is."

Fluttershy averted her friend's gaze, "But I had to make a proper salad for Angel and—"

"Yeah I know!" Rainbow shouted, "And you did three of them, let me repeat that, you made three different salads for that stupid rabbit!" Rainbow turned around facing forward once again, "How old even is that damn thing? I am no animal expert but rabbits don't live that long."

"Hey, Angel isn't a 'thing', he's a very important part of my family and—"

"Yeah whatever, look we're almost there." Rainbow cut her off as they approached their destination, the castle of two sisters.

When they first started these meetings they couldn't decide on where to meet, ultimately they chose the castle of two sisters, as a place where their journey started.

Two pegasi landed in front of main gate, they knocked on a door a few times and after a couple of seconds a door opened revealing a smiling Twilight with her horn engulfed in violet aura.

"Hello Twilight, sorry for being late." Fluttershy said.

"Don't mention it, I'm quite sure whose fault it was." Twilight said moving her gaze towards Rainbow Dash, who in turn grit her teeth as she became quite infuriated with the remark.

"Excuse me?!" Rainbow shouted, "How do you know it was my fault?!"

"Oh please, you are going to tell me you two are late because of Fluttershy, ms. Nap Lover?"

"Emm, Twilight, it was actually mine f—"

"Don't bother to defend her Fluttershy," Twilight cut her off, "for a wonderbolt you really like being late Rainbow."

After a few moments of rapid breathing in and out Rainbow took one big breath and calmed herself down, "One day Twi, one day." She mumbled under her nose as she walked past by the violet Alicorn, Fluttershy quicky followed suit.

Three mares sat by the big round table placed in the throne room of the castle, Rarity paid attention to her hooves while Pinkie and Applejack discussed a subject of which baked goodie is better.

"All right Pinkie, if you had to choose between three apple fritters and one strawberry muffin, which one would you eat?" Applejack asked.

Pinkie chuckled a few times and waved her hoof dismissively, "Silly Applejack, of course I would pick apple fritters, we have a lot of strawberry muffins back at Sugarcube Corner, so I can eat them all I want!"

Rarity couldn't help but chuckle a couple times while Applejack sighed in defeat.

"It's actually quite logical when you think about it." Twilight said as she and two pegasi entered the room.
Rainbow and Applejack were first to exchange hoof bumps and greet each other, "Haven't seen you in a while, darn this whole wonderbolt training sure paid off." Applejack said.

"Thanks, it seems that you haven't been going all lazy either." Rainbow said with a smirk.

Applejack grinned, "How about you and me have a little hoofwrestle competition after the meeting?" she asked.

"Sure thing, if you want to be humiliated so badly." Rainbow said.

"You're on girl, oh I can't wait to get that little smirk out of your face."

Meanwhile Rarity couldn't help herself as she approached her timid friend.

"Oh my goodness Fluttershy," Rarity said, "you look absolutely marvelous, I love the new manestyle."

"Thanks," Shy pegasus said, "I had my doubts about cutting my mane short."

"Well have them no more darling, you look amazing." Rarity gasped, "Actually I think I know what this calls for."

"You do?" Fluttershy asked, slightly confused.

"Of course I do! A completely new ensemble that will suit your new manestyle!"

"Oh, right."

"Why are you frowning Fluttershy when you should be smiling in joy!" Rarity's eyes shined with excitement as she grabbed the nervous pegasuses and brought her closer, "That's it! Tomorrow you're coming with me to my boutique and we will work on your new clothes!"

"Yaay." Fluttershy quietly added.

When all six friends exchanged greetings they walked over to the table, where everyone except Twilight took their seat, said alicorn left the room for a few moments only to return with plates full of different cakes and snacks all held with her magic.

She put them all down on the table, the first pony to dig in was of course Pinkie Pie, Rarity shook her head and with her magic she picked up a porcelain teapot, with blue markings on it.

She walked from one friend to the next filling their cups with tea, as she filled the fifth one she put the teapot down.

"Hey what about me?" Pinkie asked.

"Don't worry darling, I made a special one for you." Rarity said and picked up a different porcelain teapot, which had pink marks on it.

Other mares stared at her with questioning looks, Rarity walked back to her place and sat down. She looked at her confused friends and said, "Decaffeinated."

"You had to do what?" Twilight asked not sure if she heard right.

"I had to roar at her to make her listen to me." Rarity said with a hint of red appearing on her cheeks, "Raising a little dragon pony hybrid isn't easy." She added.

Rainbow started to laugh at top of her lungs as she recalled some of her memories, "Oh yes, it was so priceless to see you trying to roar."

"I think I did mighty fine from the beginning."

"Oh sure, if sounding like a starving dog is what you call 'mighty fine' then sure." She said with a smirk.

Rarity scowled at her friend and sighed in defeat, "I admit I did need some training."

"I take it that Spike taught you how to do it?" Applejack asked.

"He and Rainbow Dash." Rarity answered.

"Oh boy, I had so much fun." Rainbow said, "Not to mention actually seeing her properly roar was something you don't see everyday."

Rarity gave Rainbow a death glare, as she looked over to her other friends she couldn't help but notice the excitement in their eyes.

"There's absolutely no way." She quickly said.

"Oh come on Rarity!" Pinkie pleaded, "Just once?"

"No."

"Don't be like that Rarity, show us what you got." Applejack said.

"That's not happening."

"Even I'm quite curious," Twilight added, "come on roar for us Rarity, for scientific purposes."

"Rainbow can do that for you!"

"I did already, and she couldn't figure out how I do it."

"Your vocal chords shouldn't be in physical condition to create such loud sound!" Twilight shouted back at her friend.

"See? It's Pinkie sense all over again."

Twilight opened her mouth to respond but no words managed to leave her throat, after few moments she gave up and mumbled some curses under her nose.

Rainbow smirked and turned her attention back to Rarity, "I don't think you have a choice."

Rarity sighed, "Maybe later." She said, this wasn't what her friends wanted to hear but for now it had to be enough.

Applejack and Rainbow once again competed with each other, boasting about their achievements, "They will never change, right Pinkie?" Twilight asked, and as she didn't get her answer she turned over to her pink friend who was looking around pondering about something.

"Is there any problem Pinkie?"

Said mare kept on looking around, nodding occasionally, after few more moments she quickly turned towards Twilight and said, "I figured it out."

"You what now?"

"I know what we need here."

"And that is?" Twilight asked in confusion.

Pinkie's stoic expression changed as her lips expanded into a smile from ear to ear, "We need balloons!"

Twilight looked at her friend dumbfounded, "What—"

"And streamers! Yes definitely more streamers, or you know what, fireworks, ohh, ohh fireworks in balloons!"

Twilight shook her head and put her front legs on Pinkie's arms, "Listen Pinkie," she said, "we really don't need any fireworks in here."

"You sure we don't? Cause I know where we can get a good discount."

"I'm one hundred percent sure."

"All right then. No fireworks." Pinkie said, after few moments under her nose she quietly added, "Only balloons and streamers."

"I have to say Twilight, you look mighty fine for a mare who gave two births, I would dare to say that you look even better now than in the past." Rarity said.

"Thank you, but you shouldn't cut yourself short." Twilight said.

"Oh please, I look terrible, but that's what giving birth to two dragon ponies hybrid will do to you."

"You don't look terrible Rarity! You look great, like you always do!" Pinkie said.

"Thanks Pinkie."

"How old is your little filly now Rarity?" Applejack asked, munching on some apple pie.

"She's twelve years old, oh my goodness she's twelve years old!" Rarity shouted.

Her friends looked at her with questioning looks, "What, you don't understand?" Rarity asked.

She raised herself from her seat and with a terrified voice she shouted, "Girls, we are getting old!"

After few moments all five of them burst out in laughter, white fur on Rarity's cheeks changed color as she suddenly felt embarrassed.

Twilight wiped a small tear that trailed on her cheek as she slowly managed to stop her laugh, with a corner of her eye she noticed the sun slowly setting behind the horizon, announcing the end of another day.

"Well girls, it seems that night will soon be upon us."

"Already?" Pinkie asked, "It feels as if we just got here."

"Hey don't worry, we will meet again soon." Twilight said, trying to comfort her friend.

"How soon?" Pinkie quickly asked as she moved closer to Twilight.

"Well emm, next month?"

Pinkie moved even closer, being only inches from Twilight's muzzle.

"Next week?"

Pinkie stopped right before bumping into Twilight's muzzle and with a smile she nodded, "Sure sounds fun, what you girls think?"

"I would love to." Fluttershy said.

"I reckon I will be back from Appleloosa by then, so why not." Applejack added.

Rainbow Dash and Rarity both only nodded, after that six friends cleaned the place from cake leftovers and together entered the Everfree forest, hoping to be back in Ponyville before the night falls.

Castle of two sisters was once again empty, it's quiet halls awaited the return of six mares whose friendship was powerful enough to bring them together even after all these years, proving once again that their bond was unbreakable.
