We learn more from actions than we do from words. What you do gets across far more than what you say could ever hope to. This is true even especially for parenting. Your children will learn from how you respond to their actions as opposed to what you respond with.
It’s a shame no one taught Rarity this. Her daughter, the sixteen year-old Ataxia, is a hoofful on the best of days, and today is not one of those days. Caught off guard by a last minute order, Ataxia’s antics will quickly get on Rarity's last nerve. Sadly, this would teach the young mare a lesson about life, sex, and how to get the attention that she so desperately craves from her own mother.
Story 2.5 in the TiM series. See the author notes in the first chapter for a link to the read order.
