The promise couple
Chapter 3: Lunch time.
Previous Chapter Next ChapterThere was a large field, surrounded by trees. It was spring, the temperature wasn't to hot, or too cool. In the field, a little boy was running. He was no older then eight, and he wore a shirt with a nas car on it. The kid was running around, making engine noises. He was imagining that he was in a race, and he was winning. The boy stopped when he saw a girl his age being picked on by a group of boys.
"You can't race! That's a guy thing!" one of them snarled.
"Why does it matter? I'm not hurting anybody." the girl asked.
"Yeah, but you would probably make it all girly!" another taunted.
"I would not!" she yelled.
"Would too." one mocked, pushing the girl to the ground. The little eight year old boy watching walked toward them. "What do you want?" the kid snarled.
"leave her alone!" he pulled his fist back and hit the kid in the face, he kicked another in the shin. "Now get lost! Before you make me really mad." the kid got up off the ground and ran, his gang following behind. "Hey, are you alright?" the boy asked.
"Yes, thank you for helping me." she said.
"I'm Alex, what's your name?" the boy said.
"I'm Alejandra." she said.
"Well Alejandra, as long as your with me, I won't let anyone hurt you, ever again." eight year old Alex said.
"Promise?" eight year old Alejandra asked.
"Promise." Alex said. The scene faded into blackness, and another scene Emerged. The same boy was now twelve years old, and he was hitting someone different in the face this time. The guy hit the ground with a thud.
"Now get lost, before you really piss me off." the boy said. The guy on the ground got up and ran. Twelve year old Alex knelt down I front of Alejandra, who was on her knees crying. Alejandra looked up, into Alex's eyes. "See, I told you I would let anyone hurt you." he said. Alejandra wrapped Alex into a hug.
The scene faded again, and Alex opened his eyes. He had woken up from the sound of his alarm clock going off. Alex turned the alarm off and got out of bed. He walked toward the hallway and opened a door. Alejandra was sleeping in her bed.
"Alejandra..." He knocked on the door frame to her room. "Alejandra sweetie you need to wake up. I'm waking you up early so we can go on a ride before school." A groggy Alex said.
"Alright, I'm up." Alejandra said.
The couple jumped onto their bikes and took off. Alejandra had a better start because her bike could get from zero to sixty faster. But Alex followed close behind her once he had gotten up to speed. They raced through the town, doing wheelies, stoppies, and burn outs all morning. The two laughed and goffed around. They were having fun just riding around at one hundred miles per hour. They stopped at a few places to eat and look at things, but they still had an hour to kill. The decided to hit the twisties along a road that ran through the forests edges. It was a scenic route that a lot of people took, perfect for horsing around on. if they got in a wreck, they wouldn't have to wait long for people to come.
They hit the road, leaning as far over as they could around each turn. They were pro's at twisties, and they knew the road better then even a gps. Each lean brought them with in inches of the ground. they had a blast just flying around turns, and enjoying the scenery as it flew by them. They knew one thing that kept them from wiping out, never shift gears when your in the middle of a twisty. The sudden increase in torque will send the bikes rear tire (and the bike it's self.) sliding out from under you mid turn. Your gear will protect you, but there is no garentee you'll find your bike in one Piece. The two finished the last turn on the road and re-entered the town. They stopped at a red light, and shared a high five.
It was now mid-day, and Alex and Alejandra were heading to lunch. They were excited, they would get to meet the people that couldn't make it to the game the night before. Alex and Alejandra walked through the cafeteria doors. they scanned the room for anyone familiar. Alejandra spotted Rainbow Dash's hair, she tapped Alex on the arm and signaled him to follow. She followed the polychromatic hair color all the way to its source, and lead Alex to the table. Alejandra was welcomed by warm smiles.
"Nice to see you again darling! How were your first three classes?" Rarity asked.
"They were wonderful, I had music, and gym. So how has your day been?" Alejandra asked.
"Oh it's been just wonderful." As Alejandra and Rarity talked, alex Sat down. He looked to the person next to him. He had white hair, blue eyes, and a similar skin color to Alex. Alex gave him a nod.
"Sup?" He asked. "Names Alex." He extended his hand toward the guy. The man took his hand and shook it.
"Soul, Soul Writer." He said.
"Oh, so your the one that Sunset mentioned. She mention how you ride a motorcycle." Alex said.
"Yeah, I ride a Harley." Soul said.
"Let me guess, softail?" Alex asked.
"Yup, how did you guess?" Soul asked.
"Their awesome bikes. I personally ride crotch rockets, but that's because I'm more of a speed demon." Alex said.
"That's understandable, everyone has different tastes in motorcycles." Soul said.
"Alex, you simply must tell me how you and Alejandra came together. I'm dying to know the story." Rarity said. Alex had a flashback to his dream.
"I won't let anyone hurt you, ever again." said a young boys voice.
"Promise?" a little girls voice said.
"Promise."
Alex snapped out of his trance to find Rarity snapping her fingers in front of his eyes. He recoiled a bit, startled at the sudden appearance of the hand.
"Are you alright Alex? You seem you have spaced out for a moment." Rarity said.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." Alex said. "Everyone might want to get comfortable, this is a long story." Next Chapter: The trip - part 1 planning the trip Estimated time remaining: 1 Hour, 37 Minutes
