After the night of non-stop midnight feast of emotion, Celestia is about to raise her sun to break the dawn...the colorful streaks of purple, blue, orange and yellow arising the morning twilight sky.

Blacklight is frustrated that her first night is ending so quickly, and she knew that she has to take cover in the shadows to avoid the power of the sun.

"I'm not done yet, and this time...I will turn this sun into darkness!" Blacklight shouted and her aura is bursting into flaming shades of fire and aimed at the sun, soon it turned into nothingness when it got not that far. Blacklight hesitated and realized how powerful the sun is against darkness. Blacklight stomped her left hoof and turned into red aura and black dots, she growled in frustration.

"I will be back" Blacklight whispered running the other way to hide in front of a building, right before she stumbled to turn left in shadows the sunlight touched her right leg and, she heard a hiss of smoke and burned her fur and skin almost transforming into realistic shadow.

Blacklight growled again, when she took cover in shadows and panting after a long run. Blacklight looked at her right leg burning with steam a pure black color stained on her, she never saw such thing before she didn't even know what meant or also in her confusion.

Blacklight sat down and examined her leg, when she reached a hoof on her leg it shot a strong pain through her body like lightning struck her, she held in the pain as long as she could.

"O...ow..." a voice dawned Blacklight's mind hearing Twilight's echoing voice, finally found out the answer to Blacklight's confusion.

"So if the sunlight reaches me, it turns black in pain and takes jolts of damage to my host..." Blacklight stood up and closed her eyes, "...I must be careful so I won't get caught in the sunlight, and its time for me to rest for the day" Blacklight whispered to herself and focused on her last dark magic, many forms of shadows reached out towards Blacklight her aura glowed bright and slowly turned magenta.

The cutie mark stars aimed at the star in the center, striking with black bolts of lightning and turned white and pink magenta.

Blacklight's flowing mane slowly turned into a lighter blue with purple and pink mane flowing straight down. Blacklight's body color faded back into a very white purplish color and she opened her eyes, the cat eyes turned back in a perfect circle.

"Ugh..." Twilight Sparkle put a hoof on her forehead, and felt strange her legs started to shake she tried to look up to know where she is. She's at her hometown...Canterlot.

"How did I get here?" Twilight asked, looking around when she realized that she's talking to herself, she sighed.

Twilight stood up and walked around town, not just only getting her mind straight but also wanting to know what happened last night, its like she was sleep-walking... that never happened to her before until last night.

"Good morning Princess Twilight" said a white coated mare with a light shade of pink, a night-relaxed eyes of dark purple greeted with a small smile.

"Oh, good morning..." Twilight said trailing off of what is this mare's name, she never looked familiar in Canterlot.

"The name is Fleur De Liz, its nice to meet you finally. I have been quite a fan of your work of magic, and hoping if...you can teach me" Fleur said flipping her mane, so lady-like to attract a stallion with young beauty. Twilight wasn't sure about teaching magic to Fleur De Liz, heck it felt like her magic has been drained, and her energy wasn't focusing on magic so she feels very weak after a strange night that is very amnesiac.

"I'm sorry Fleur De Liz, but I have a lot of responsibilities to take care of, do you understand?" Twilight said she felt like her eyelids are about to close and still, her legs are shaking in fear and anxiety attack.

"Just call me Liz, why don't you come with me. You look like your about to scare yourself" Liz said with a happy look on her perfect face.

Twilight looked down and thought about Liz's request to stay at a new place she never went to.

"Okay."

On the way to Fleur's house she has been feeling even worst of shaking legs, Twilight tried to remember what happened again but nothing dawned on her mind, not even one aspect of it. Liz's raised her hoof in front of Twilight, and looked up to see something coming her way. Another white pony stood up against Liz and Twilight, his yellow mane fell straight as if he has been struggling with something or somepony, his cutie mark is familiar when Twilight glanced at it. Its the stallion that wanted Rarity to do his clean work, Twilight thought. Prince Blueblood walked up in front of Twilight and Liz, he looked like he is going to faint.

"Prince...are you okay dear?" Liz asked Blueblood with a new set of worried eyes, he panted slowly and tried to gather up his strength to look at the two mares.

"I'm..." Blueblood stuttered, his legs are shaking violently something similar that Twilight is being caused of.

Blueblood passed out before he spoke anything else, suddenly his fur color changed into black like a moving shadow in less than a second to catch a glimpse of what was hovering over him.

"Oh my Celestia..." Twilight gasped after learning what is happening, some of the other ponies in Canterlot started to walk out of their homes, there legs are shaking violently every time they took another step, groaning like they are un-dead zombies even when they want to talk, some of the ponies started to faint and the moving shadows hovered over them just like Blueblood's causes.

"What in Equestria is going on? What's happening to them?" Liz asked as Twilight is looking at her curiously, then back at the road of the failed ponies.

"We need to get to the castle and warn the princesses, I think a new threat is arising this kingdom" Twilight said running towards the castle, and Liz joined in on the small party of ponies.

"Do you know what is happening then?" Liz asked Twilight she searched in her thoughts to think about the coincidences. More and more ponies are fainting like fallen obstacles for Twilight and Liz, "I might be wrong on this, it appears that those shadows have something to do about what happened last night, I can't seem to remember a thing but I was in Luna's dorm to talk about my strange nightmares, nightmares that seems to link to this disaster" Twilight said taking a left turn and still moving forward.

"Well...then somehow I lived through last night, last night I remember looking at a shadow figure flying about my house, I saw the shadows of wings and a horn. There couldn't be a new alicorn, unless the princesses has a good explanation for this."

Twilight really wishes she knew that answer, apparently she didn't need to say a word to it. Taking the run to a silent turn, there isn't much to explain but somehow Twilight knew or feels like she is the cause of it, a strong regret seems to lurk into her heart and soul. There is only one thing that Twilight seems to remember, green eyes when the sun and the moon eclipsed together...and green eyes in the flashback of her last night nightmare.

Bursting open the doors the guards struck down like lightning, Twilight and Liz stopped in front of Celestia's throne to see her standing and writing some paperwork.

"Twilight, what's with all of this rush?" Celestia asked her faithful pride student, Twilight felt like she couldn't say anything but Fleur stood up for her.

"Your majesty, there is chaos in Canterlot!" Liz's voice boomed the entire castle in a strong, loud echo. The entire room fell so quiet, stunning the princess and shocking the guards. Twilight looked down hoping there is something to say, something told her to not say anything that involves herself.

Celestia shook her head in disagreement, "I'm sure that the draconequus, didn't betray against us, his chaos is full in control" she said walking towards the mares.

"I'm sorry but its not Discord causing the trouble, its...something else" Liz said trying to use her magic to show the princess of what she saw, her aura glowed in a light magenta color almost similar to Twilight's magic. Liz concentrated on her magic and memory, Twilight couldn't just stand there and let Liz use up all of her magic, so she helped Liz to brighten up the image.

In the memory, Prince Blueblood just walked up to the girls and looked rarely tired and almost half dead, fainting to see a pure black mist of shadow swipe past him. Seeing the ponies of Canterlot walking out of their homes and fainting, and finally...the magic faded into thin air.

Leaving the two mares breathless, and quivering in low energy. Celestia closed her eyes and almost feeling that she never saw anything like that before, "I know what to expect now Celestia, there is a new threat among us and hiding somewhere in this city...or in all of Equestria. Because...we are no longer safe, and nothing can stop this" Twilight said the same moment when Luna came walking in to know what is going on.

"I have even more bad news than that strange evil" Luna said walking up to her sister's right side, looking up to Celestia and exhaled.

"King Sombra has returned."

Celestia beamed her magic around the castle, she slammed her hooves on the ground as the castle shook like an earthquake had just struck.

"How? HOW?" Celestia screamed, her mane started to blaze in a fire frenzy, a burning hatred. Luna placed a hoof on her shoulder, Celestia's eyes were white and glowing, "Tia stop remember how Sombra has the power of hatred and fear? That is still dangerous! You have to calm down" Luna said trying to snap Celestia out of her anger.

Celestia looked down, "I'm sorry... but there is no way that demon is still alive" she said.

"It feels like... demons can't die" Twilight interfered, she didn't notice that she was talking so she placed a hoof on her mouth to keep her from talking.

"There is no proof that they can, right now I'm worried for all of you, including Equestria itself. Darkness is hiding from us right now, but in a way... I can sense the source in this very room right now" Celestia said, ready to strike a move to a moving shadow. The guards are ready to fight too, staying extra cautious.

Fleur looked around, scared and got close to Twilight, Twilight looked at Fleur and hugged her with her wing.

"I think... and believe that nothing is actually happening" Twilight said, feeling that this entire thing is becoming odd and it feels weird.

"Twilight will you stay with us and let the guards escort Fleur De Liz. We need your help right now" Luna said looking confident and strangely determined about something, also believing to lie.

Twilight nodded, looking at Fleur De Liz with a warm smile "thank you for coming with me" Twilight said as Fleur smiled back at her, her eyes are sad and scared. Twilight placed a hoof on Fleur's shoulder, "stay strong" Twilight said positively as Fleur smiled wider and nodded.

"Thank you princess" Fleur said and walked out of the castle with the guards.

Twilight looked at Celestia, she still looks angered by the look in her eyes but Luna... it feels like she knows something giving Twilight a bad but evil expression.

"I'm sure that something happened to you last night Twilight, something that seems to involve you. Your a target to Sombra are you?" Luna asked Twilight, Luna prepared some hot chocolate since the night is cold for herself and for Twilight.

"What makes you think that Luna?" Twilight asked Luna, laying down on the small blue bed she used her magic to spark some fire in Luna's furnace.

"Last night when I was gone, I remember that you sounded like you were in pain, you were screaming, the next thing that happened made my skin turn into goosebumps. A loud crash shook the castle, and when I came back to find you... you disappeared" Luna said, levitating her cup in a blue aura she took a drink, and Twilight did the same.

"Was I sleep walking?" Twilight asked Luna, in a strange confusion.

"No... I have a powerful spell that when creatures are nearby, a pain in my stomach will tell me what it is. And it is the power of Sombra, he was there and it felt like a stronger feeling of somepony trustful. Sombra... it felt like he already got what he wanted" Luna said setting down her hot coco on a coffee table and walked out to her balcony, and along with Twilight.

"What did Sombra want?" Twilight asked Luna, getting some things together that are connecting.

Luna struck her magic against Twilight, and she fell off the balcony and flew up in the sky to come to see Luna with her Nightmare Moon eyes. "He wants you Twilight" Luna answered, shocking Twilight she stopped flying all of a sudden, something is wrong, her wings are not responding to her.

"N-no!" Twilight whined as she fell on the ground, very hard she was in pain she tried to open her eyes and saw Luna.

"Luna...please..." Twilight begged, but soon she had no control of her magic, she aimed red, green and black colors against Luna.

"What's happening? Luna! Help me!" Twilight said, she never felt this scared before and right now she is in agony.

"Twilight, you have to listen to me. Sombra possessed you, you have to fight him off!" Luna spoke with her powerful, royal Equestrian voice. Twilight heard Luna, but right now she is somehow being transformed, she looked down at her hooves it was changing into a very, very dark purple. Twilight closed her eyes as if another mind is pushing her away, being locked up in chains and crystals, she couldn't move.

A dark laugh corrupted Twilight's voice, "so glad you figured it out Luna, but did you really have to lie to Twilight? Of course you did, I can still keep Twilight in my shadows. She can't escape from her new fear, and I am very surprised that you knew that I was shadowing Twilight from you, all part of the plan" Blacklight said, and in a very strong voice she screamed at Luna, a wave of black magic crossed with Luna, trying to blow her away. Blacklight stopped screaming but turned into laughter.

"Plan hu? What is your plan Sombra? What are you attending to do with Twilight?" Luna asked the demon that once fought over a thousand years ago.

"My plan? Twilight is the one who used the dark magic of mine, every time she uses it I was regaining myself in the north, and over for the past few years I was reborn, oh but Twilight was not the only one who used it. She is very beautiful, my beautiful host I plan to use her for my own. So Twilight is now an alicorn, I have the power to kill you, your sister, and Cadence the ones that all of you cared for. Oh... not just only the princesses, the ones that she loves are part of the plan too" Blacklight said walking around Luna a couple of times.

"You think you might win again?" Luna asked him.

"Yes" Blacklight said.

Luna looked at Sombra very much in hatred. "Isolation. Corruption. Control. Power... that is all you want Sombra?" Luna asked him.

"Its not Sombra anymore, its Blacklight, what do you think? Catchy eh? And YES! But that is not all... your just missing something else. But enough chit chat..." Blacklight said she jumped on Luna and fought, Blacklight was biting on front of Luna.

"You think your a better monster than I am? Then lets fight" Luna said she tried to escape, she tried to kick her away but Blacklight was strong, Luna couldn't even move. Blacklight finally reached to Luna's neck and bit down very hard, Luna was having trouble to move. The grass became warm, Luna was slowly loosing her sight to darkness, darker than the night.

After twenty minutes of drinking Luna's emotion, Blacklight feels like she going to win Equestria. Blacklight smiled, as she slowly kissed Luna on her lips, closing her eyes and flew away from her very first battle against Luna.

"Why are you doing this Sombra? Why did you choose me?" Twilight was screaming inside her mind, but the more she struggles to break free, the crystals started to cover her soul. To fade forever. Twilight tried to move her left hoof, but the crystals are still continuing to surround her completely.

"Are you worried for yourself Twilight? I only chose you because of the black magic you used, and how powerful your element is... I am now in control of the the elements, I have the power to banish your friends, and your family. And all you can do is be a good girl, the perfect host. The majestic taste of magic, turning into my life's work."

"You will never get away with it! I will break free, and you will be sorry!" Twilight said, feeling mad against Sombra's strongest shadows and crystals.

"Oh... I don't think so. Because I. DON'T. CARE! I only care about is the elements magic, and once they are corrupted... they will die. Along with your wonderful friends and family. And it will be your fault to underestimate my magic. I was impressed, so I found you... delicious." Twilight snorted, while the crystals continued to engulf her completely.

"Don't believe me... oh, don't worry my daughter. I will never leave you, and once your just like me. We are one. Forever" Sombra said.

"I hate you" Twilight returned the favor.

"Feisty" Sombra replied to the bad compliment, and swirled around Twilight until she was becoming more darker than before, and Twilight grunting to fight him off. Twilight tried to use her strength against Sombra's shadow, trying to find her element within her. Sombra roared, as the shadows grew stronger and bigger.

"Ow!" Twilight felt her body in pain, and started to fade.

Luna stood up from the grass while her eyes faded away from green to blue, her part of the plan was tough and now its time for her to think of her plan B.

"He's too strong... I have to warn everyone. Shining Armor included..." Luna said, she flew in the sky to land in her room and run to Celestia's dorm and the more she started to run the more energy is drained, she tripped on the carpet. Luna placed a hoof on her neck where Blacklight had bitten her, and its not a good sign and once the shadow passes her she is now lost to her nightmare once again.

"Princess! Are you okay?" said a lunar guard, walking in front of her and lifted her on the stallion's back.

"I'm... fine, I just need to get to my sister, and warn all guards ASAP Sombra has returned" Luna replied.

"First of all, you need to sleep and second you will tell her in the morning" the stallion said, walking Luna to her dorm.

"No, take me to Celestia now" Luna demanded.

"As you wish, Princess" the stallion said, turning around to Celestia's dorm.

"Sister!" Luna said as she used her magic to open the doors, she layed on the stallion's back in exhaustion.

"I know what Sombra wants, and Twilight is already his target" Luna said as Celestia gasped.

"How did he find a way back to Twilight?" Celestia asked Luna.

"Sombra's crystals, the Crystal Empire was only step one but step two is bigger" Luna said as she slowly got off the stallion's back and slowly flopped down on Celestia's bed. "Thank you sir" Luna thanked the stallion and looked at Celestia, and then showed her the bite on Luna's neck. Celestia backed away and then came close to Luna, as she pointed her horn on the wound she used her magic to heal the bite on her skin, it only left a small shadow to restore her.

"Tell me everything, starting from the beginning" Celestia said.

A blue mare fell down on her left side looking at a monster, her light blue mane covered her face and opened one nightly light purple eye, she panted.

"M-monster! What did you do to me?" Trixie asked the monster standing in front of her.

"Your deepest fear is tasty oh and uh say hello to Twilight for me," Blacklight said and then thought of something else that needs to be done. Trixie tried to stand up and her pink aura shined very bright, almost burning Blacklight.

"Never... and I mean never come back for my blood, ever!" Trixie screamed at Blacklight challenging her. Blacklight only laughed using her black magic to form in dark crystals on her hooves, Trixie stood paralyzed, and tried to remove her hooves from the crystals. "There is something that I want from you Trixie, but I guess I'm not ready for it yet. My precious... pet" Blacklight said placing a hoof on Trixie's chin, "and this time you will be living with your fear" Blacklight finished, her eyes flashed red and traveled its way to Trixie's eyes, the crystals had just faded away in thin air.

Trixie's eyes only glowed red for a few minutes until returning to her normal eye color, she looked up and doesn't seem to remember what happened and where she is, its just partly between a spooky and dark forest and a silent small town.

She never knew what was the biggest fear that she has contained, all she knew that she is important to Sombra somehow. And he somehow knew Twilight's deepest fear as it scratches her chest open, clawing it like a cat's toy. Now Twilight is living in a shadow that she is no more than a puppet to Sombra.

Blacklight laughs at Twilight's depression of sadness likely to never care about the source of the new dark magic Sombra had found over the years, he found Twilight in his dark crystal shadows, the same personality that he has in common with and then... he grew stronger to possessing Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Blacklight stomped on the crunchy white ground turning it into the death's gray darkness, spreading it around herself to form a great big circle. Blacklight seems to have a new plan and she needs the eyes in the sunlight, now that Blacklight is the threat to Equestria known to the Royal Sisters.

Blacklight stopped herself and looked into the distance of the glowing colors of love in the sky, she knew that it is dangerous for her to get caught right away from the most stupidest princess ever. Oh... Blacklight isn't aiming at the princess... she's aiming for somepony else.

Somepony who is closer to Twilight and somepony who has the same taste of magic, the one who felt the hatred years ago by facing him with the white magic against Sombra.

Blacklight smiled.

Turned to shadow, on the thick white ground and softer on the dark moonlighted grass. Blacklight traveled back to her home when in power, and layed one single black crystal at the doors of the Empire, slowly getting stronger. Blacklight then, traveled up on the castle and hid underneath each night guard's shadow and to get close to the doors where the love couple sleeps. Now this is the trickiest one I ever done Blacklight thought to herself, she can hear the two lovebird's breathing and snoring. The princess of love is being snuggled with her lover.

Prince. Shining. Armor.

Blacklight's red eyes glowed through the black mist acted up to stage two, multiply. Hehehehe... and they say two is better than ONE! A second pair of eyes glowed in the dark. Dark green, slowly opening the dark eyes of evil. A pure white smile glistened, on the black mist lips.

It slowly crept to Shining Armor's shadow on the lower wall and attached itself on his right forearm, causing Shining to start his very first nightmare of his terrible fear. Blacklight formed back into her colors, standing overhead. Shining started to look worried, then shifted to terror to sweating his forehead and lastly his body started to shake like the longest day of winter, colder and more violent to stop than Twilight's twitchy legs.

The black mist attacked, swallowing Shining Armor whole. Blacklight laughed delightfully.
