Act 1
It was a warm sunny summers afternoon in Ponyville. Within a local bakery named Sugarcube Corner were two pony friends eating their lunches of tofu burgers and grass onions rings.
“I was like ‘Oh hay!’ and busted through the school’s wall. The fillies were excited but the teacher was very disappointed about it.” Kool Aid, the blood red unicorn was always bragging about his job to his pegasi friend, Tony Tiger.
“Lucky you, barely anypony eats my cereal brand anymore...it's all this healthy stuff nowadays.”
“Sorry to hear Tony, ah anything else going on?”
“Well I sent you magical mail that I got by mistake by some pony named The Music Meister, It's really weird.”
“Oh man I love mystery mail!”
“Dude calm down, you always get too excited about any mystery and wined up getting into some trouble.”
“What?, no I don’t…”
Later....
The sound of a theme tune and musical sounds echoes thru the Kool aid’s home. Once the mail was open Kool Aid realized that he was now cursed by The Music Meister to sing randomly and make others around him sing too. Kool Aid took a deep breath.
“Holy Buck, what is this, forged in Celestia's very flames. Do my eyes tell me lies. A cursed has been placed on me!”
“The Time is nigh, I my fly, to find some aid, I must see a magical master for some help with this hex!”
“There are sounds, There are motions, theres is horror and fear...there are terrors and wonders that I never knew about singing!”
“I am losing my grip on my mind...as The Music Meister takes his time to wield my body!”
“AHHH...It work! I The Music Meister have now infiltrated a new realm of musical possibilities!”
“WIth no heroes or other villains this world shall be mine!” Music Meister said.
“I must venture forward on my quest, goodbye old life, goodbye old form, and goodbye to that metalsome Batman!” The Music Meister finally stopped singing as he took a deep breath and used the dark magic he stole in his realm to spread his gift to this new realm.
Within the kaleidoscopic Crystal Castle in the center of ponyville, Twilight was reading a novel about quantum physics in her study when a shriek echoed through the Castle and running in the room was a concerned Spike The Dragon.
“Spike, my friend and number one assistant! What has you so frightened?!”
“Oh jeez! Twilight it happened to you too!” Spike said.
“What is going on?! Why am I singing so loudly?!”
“I don’t know, for I was just sitting in my room when I was reading a comic book out loud and I couldn't stop singing!”
“This feel wrong, even though we ponies sing a lot we shouldn’t sing every word of every sentence!” Twilight said.
“Twilight, What do we do about this vicissitude?!”
“Let's see if anypony else in town is being afflicted like us!”
With that Twilight and Spike raced out the study, down the staircase then rushed to the door. When they opened it they instantaneously heard the singing of everypony in town. It was hectic as everypony dramatically sung what they said and did this unusual day. Twilight and Spike ran to Rarity’s home, once there they barged through the door to see Rarity looking quite distressed as usual.
“Oh Darlings, oh Darlings...for what is going on?!” Rarity said.
“It seems somepony has placed a Musical Hex on us and the town!”
“This is weird, this is strange, and i’m surprised at how well I'm singing!” Spike said.
“This is definitely strange but hopefully there is a why to solve this mystery! We should check on the others and then see if we can make a plan!” Rarity sang.
Thus Twilight, Spike, and Rarity traveled to Sugarcube corner to check on Pinkie Pie next. However in the streets of Ponyville, The Music Meister was enjoying the lovely singing of perplexed ponies.
“This is grand, this is great, I couldn't plan this any better...the singing of this ponies echo in the magical athier!” Music Meister said.
“However something is missing...they sing by only when speaking, I can do better by making them sing what they feel in their minds and hearts.”
The Music Meister lit up his unicorn horn and changed the hex only a little to make the ponies sing with what inside their hearts. As for some ponies, this clearly won’t end well…
Twilight and company were trotting down to Pinkie Pie's residents when Spike and Rarity stopped in the middle of the street. Twilight looked back as saw them acting sundry, with lovely eyes at each other.
“My dear Rarity...How long have I know you, how long have I loved for you?”
“My Spikey wikey...how long have we played this game of cat and mouse?”
“Ever since we met...You have haunted my thoughts like a specter of an angle. I feel now is the best time to tell you...I love you.”
“Oh Spike...I must admit you have always been there when I needed you....your kind, thoughtful, and a gentle pony even if you're a dragon.”
“Oh Rarity!”
“Oh Spike!”
The song stopped just before the two lean in for a kiss and snapped out of it like a trance was on them. Twilight was taken aback.
“Do you guys remember what just happened?!” Twilight asked the two.
“No Twilight, we were following you...I can’t seem to remember!” Rarity sang.
“This is bad...now the Hex makes anypony randomly sing what is in there hearts!”
“Wait, what did me and Rarity sing?” Spike sung.
“It’s probably best I tell you later...now let go!”
This day which started out so well for the town was now turning acidulated as the musical hex was causing chaos and madness, all the while the rapscallion was enjoying the mayhem. Else where in Sugarcube corner, the trio of Twilight, Rarity, and Spike managed to find Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy and Rainbow dash inside. It seemed that Rainbow Dash was beginning to sing her inner feelings.
This would be an odd song along with The Music Meister making his evil plan to spread the Musical Hex to all of Equestria. Can the heroes free the town and stop The Music Meister? Find out in the next Act.
Act 2
Within Sugarcube Corner the trio of Twilight, Rarity, and Spike managed to find Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy and Rainbow dash inside. It seemed that Rainbow Dash was beginning to sing her inner feelings.
“Equestria, Buck Yeah!”
“Living free and doing some air tricks!”
“Equestria, Buck Yeah!”
“Home to where I live and fight!”
“My friends are all here and I love them like I love apple cider!”
Rainbow Dash turned to her friends who look upon this site with a confused look on their faces as Dash quickly snapped out of the trance and looked at her friends.
“Hay what just happened to me?!” Dash sung.
“You and everypony in town will randomly sing what's in your heart!”
“Twi, what in tarnation is happening?!” Applejack sung.
“I don’t know...somepony placed this Musical Hex, so maybe we should look for the pony who did this!”
“Well, maybe its that pony over there!” Pinkie Pie pointed outside to a red unicorn glowing with dark magic.
The pony friends raced out of the building to find themselves chasing a strange glowing pony around town.
“Stop there you soundrial!”
“I don’t think so little ponies! I the Music Meister shall complete my villainous plan!”
The Music Meister raced inside of Twilight Castle upon which he closed and locked the door with his dark magic. The Music Meister looked upon this cute crystal castle and focused his dark magic to give himself an outfit like what he had in his old realm. Green glasses, a purple suit and tie and all the trappings of a villain from gotham city.
“Now to get to work….but first to summon some help!” The Music Meister sung as he used his dark magic to summon musical shadow bat ponies to make sure no pony can disturb his work.
Outside the castle twilight tried to open the doors as rainbow dash took to the windows. it was no use as the dark magic placed a barrier on the entureces.
“What is this strange pony named The Music Meister doing in my home?”
“I don’t know but he is asking for some payback!” Rainbow Dash sung.
“Twi, what can we do?” Applejack sung.
“I have to try and change the barrier to allow use in!” Twilight Shoot a powerful beam of magic at the barrier, however it only changed the door into a strange looking door with inscriptions on the side. The inscriptions read….only a song from a pure vocalist who can match The Music Meister can open the door and destroy the barrier.
“The Musical Hex must have interfered with my spell…”
“Well darling it's not that bad….now we just need to sing to open the door!”
Each pony and Spike tried to sing to the door but nothing happened until Fluttershy tried and the door bugged a little.
“Fluttershy, you must sing a bit louder!” Twilight sung.
Just then magical shadow bat ponies attacked the group and made them scatter and fight as Fluttershy sung.
“Something strange has happened again!”
“Me and my friends are on the villains stopping job again!”
“Why can’t I be home reading a good book!”
“Monsters, villains, or bad event always seem to come to Ponyville!”
“This is driving me bats!”
The Door sung open as the ponies had defeated the shadow bat ponies. The ponies ran into Twilight's Castle when a large cage dropped on top of them. Up to the cage walked the Music Meister with a smug grin on his face.
