Upon receiving the same mysterious letter, it seems that everypony that’s anypony has been invited to the same party at a mansion not far outside of Canterlot. Unsure as to who their gracious host is, everypony that attends is soon thrown into a wild and devastating game against not only the clock, but their own suspicions. After receiving a recorded message from their host telling them that they will systematically be killed over the course of the night, everypony is trapped in the mansion, with no way to escape.

The murders start shortly after, and everypony finds themselves trying to point their hooves at one another. The only clue as to who the murderer-host is: The host is among the party guests. Cleverly inviting itself to the party as a guest, and leaving careful instructions for the butler, the host is easily able to fit in with the normal crowd.
