"Did you hear?" was the new greeting around Equestria. Constantly, ponies poked at each other saying "Did you hear?" "They kissed in public!"

This was all the result of an unlikely encounter.

Fluttershy always sort of thought Luna was cute. Her long legs, her flowing hair, the ways her wings were shaped.

Of course, she had never admitted this.  Equestria was awfully homophobic, sneering at fillyfoolers and coltcuddlers. If the lovers displayed their love openly, hooves were pointed at them, children pulled away, an angry glare. "You're not messing with my Amber Cupcake!" mothers screamed. Verbal beatdowns were common. "You bucking coltcuddler, get they bucking hay out of here!"

So that was uncommon.

Fluttershy was ashamed. Why did she like fillies instead of colts? She became depressed, and stayed at home. Everybody was concerned, but, in her point of view, nobody noticed she was gone.

She decided to go to grocery store to get some rabbit food. for Angel. He was a growing rabbit, and even though she hated being in the public, she went. She browsed the aisles for it.

Luna's Point of View.

Luna was went to the grocery store to get some groceries. She was visiting Ponyville for a cultural meeting, and wanted to see what it was like to grocery shop.

Luna was a fillyfooler. She had always thought Fluttershy was sort of hot. Her wings would look so good erect,- Luna! She reminded herself. You must stop these urges. She frowned.

Hhhhm, what did she have?

Tomato, potatoes, carrots, apples...

She wandered the aisles, refusing any help.

Suddenly, she bumped into Fluttershy. Flutershy was being quite timid and shivering. Luna used her magic to st Fluttershy upright and said "I am quite sorry." "Are you hurt?"

"N-no." Luna replied "Why Fluttershy, what has gotten you so frightened?" Fluttershy replied "N-nothing."

"Fluttershy, would you like to visit my hotel?"

The Hotel

When they arrived at the hotel, the security guards waited outside for Luna.

"C-can have a coke?" Fluttershy asked.

"Will Ponsi be okay?" Luna inquired. Fluttershy nodded. "My dear, why were you so scared?"

"I just- um, I, uh, g-got startled."

"You still have not calmed. Tell me the real reason." Fluttershy responded "P-princess L-luna, I uh like um uh-you." Fluttershy shrieked and covered herself with her wings.

"My dear, I like you too." replied Luna. A shy smile came from Fluttershy.

"R-really? You're not... one of t-them?" "No, I'm not. I'm quite a fillyfooler, actually. Drives Celestia mad."

"Y-you won't tell a-anypony will y-you?" "Not in my wildest dreams."

Luna smiled at Fluttershy. "Come on, my dear. Let's talk."

A lovely evening was spent on the top-floor of the hotel. Nopony was on the 3rd floor, so they talked loudly.

"Oh, Princess? What is your favorite animal?"

"Oh, bats. Creatures of the night. They never do get much credit, do they?"

"Oh yes, quite lovely", Fluttershy fibbed, remembering the time she became a bat pony.

Luna and Fluttershy were quite in love. But the hotel they think is empty, really isn't!
