The Guide. A dangerous creature who knew of things no other could. He brought knowledge to others on how to make relics, weapons and machines that improved the lives of many. But his intentions were not pure. For the Guide shared his knowledge with anyone, not caring for how it was used since he himself could not use it.

This in time created conflict, since some of the creations he spoke of were only obtainable at certain times or at certain locations, and greedy as the others were, they tried to monopolize these places. And yet, the Guide kept helping everyone, he helped them fight each other, kill each other, and all with a smile. Eventually the wars took a new turn, the wars suddenly were about the knowledge, about the Guide.

And still he did nothing but smile as he fed advice to those who would listen.

But others, bored, and afraid of the war had had enough, deciding to stop the foolish wars, two sisters, one by the name of Luna, and another by the name of Celestia eventually confronted him and asked him to stop. For the first time, he refused to help. The sisters left, only to return with six artifacts, known as the Elements of harmony and imprisoned him in stone, to make sure that he would never break free. And to this day, he has yet to leave his prison, only able to faintly whisper advice to those who listen.

If you haven't guessed it yet, this is yet another Displaced story about someone who happened to turn into the Guide from Terraria.
