Learn the pasts of 5 ponies when they begin their adventure in the mystical land of Equestria.
Learn the pasts of Two Sides, Radiant Beam, Time Tosser, Kind Star, and Eternal Song. This is the beginning of the story. (Read this to learn about the past of the five ponies that I will mainly use in my stories. The stories will be divided in two chapters each pony.)
Threads of Hope
The planet earth was a utopia for humans. Years passed and animals throughout the landscape began to disappear. One of these creatures was the simple pony, or horse to many of the natives. Ponies were considered nothing but a means of transportation. Needless to say once the future came, and advancements in technology progressed, ponies became an endangered species, therefore rare. One man by the name of Timothy Clark was one of the few owners of the ponies.
The animal was one of his most prized possession. He began to worry after three months of ownership. Once the sun would set and the city was engulfed in a shroud of darkness, the pony always started a ruckus. Clark constantly checked in on the pony, making sure it was as safe as possible. He didn’t want his prized possession to be up with the birds. During one night in particular, a Sunday, he was startled. The pony let out a monstrous yell, in what could have been considered English.
The startled man began to think he was going insane. The pony then let out a small string of barely audible words. Once it was made clear that he was not hallucinating, he attempted to speak with the pony. The animal spoke of a few things, one of which was a land called Equestria. The pony was then able to produce a horn from its forehead. The man was at such disbelief, that he began to wonder, “Was this a smart idea?”
Once the horn was fully extended the pony then proceeded to open a rift. The man was broken; he could not believe what he had just witnessed. He knew he would be sent to an asylum if he spoke of this occurrence. The pony said to him that her name was Silver Shield. She said if he wanted to he could come with her. The man thought that it was too late for introductions. He just leapt into the portal, hoping that it would lead to an early demise.
+++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++
He had awoken from what he thought was a nightmare. Timothy Clark had just woken up. He stumbled to a nearby bathroom and washed his face. He thought that he was at a crazy party. He was surprised to feel that his facial structure had changed in one night. He then heard two loud sounds that reminded him of when his pony trotted around the acres of land he had purchased for her. With a quick glance at a mirror his worst fear was realized.
The “man” let out the loudest yell he had ever done in his lifetime of twenty-one years. The realization of what he had witnessed at the mirror was too much for him to handle for the moment. A grim silence was set in the area, nothing was heard, not even the small creatures that are out in the forest that surrounded the area he woke up in. It was at that moment when he saw his “prized possession” exit a small room. The gray mare, with a missing horn, a beautiful white mane, and deep pools of amber for eyes, asked him,
“Hey, whats with all the yellin? You woke me up.”
“Well I’m sorry, but I’m going through my mid-life crisis and speaking with a unicorn, wait what happened to your horn. Wait, WHY AM I HERE!”
The young mare responded, “Hey, it was temporary and what do you mean what happened. You jumped into the portal,” the gray mare then realized that he has a lot to learn if he is to live in this new are, “You need a new name.”
The “man” was perplexed at what the earth pony had said. What did she mean by "new name"; surly he was going to return to Earth where he literally belonged. The mare responded with a menacing glare. He soon realized that there was no going back.
“Why didn't you tell me I couldn't go back? I just want to go home.”
“If I could help you I would, but it’s too late for that... ‘Two Sides’.”
He thought he heard a jest exit the mouth of the mare. They both began to argue the meaning of what was said. Two Sides, Two Sides, Two Sides, this was his new name. She explained that ponies were nude most of the time but Timothy was less then happy to hear this. In less than five minutes silver was able to take off the now obsolete clothing and see his cutie mark. It was a wrench, for he was an engineer, and he was the best at his work place.

The path from the shack to Ponyville was a dangerous route. One filled with Manticores, Dragons, and even other barbaric Ponies. They had to gather supplies, making sure to steer clear of any visible danger. With this said, days were spent in just gathering food, and they still didn't have enough to make the trek. With all of this time spent they did not learn anything thing about each other. Instead of speaking, they communicated through a series of hoof signs and grunts.
One month had passed and their first attempt at reaching Ponyville went up in flames. They lost what little hope they had. Their supplies were plentiful, but the journey proved to be too tedious for any two ponies to accomplish. They decided to leave themselves in the shack in which they first appeared. The two “friends” began to complain and argue, passing the blame, to and fro as though it was tennis. The result of this game was point Silver.
“Why in Celestia’s name did I ever decide to bring you with me?”
“That isn't my fault. I thought jumping in that portal would kill me. Guess I thought wrong.”
The infuriated mare gave the “man” her most menacing glare. It ripped through the psyche of the “man” with such a force he fell to, what he would say, his knees. Shield did nothing but attempt to leave the pony behind, but this was never accomplished because of her own nature.
This was the person who fed her, bathed her, who did everything and anything for her. Now she doesn’t seem to care even if the “man” is in a broken state. The only thing she truly cared about was that she was a mare and that he was a stallion. Time passed, but the only thing that would truly never escape was her feelings. Shield thought that it was insane to think that she was in love with her former master. The two ponies lay, without hope or even a plan. this was the vicious cycle for 1 week.
Thinking about their predicament, Two Sides then asked, “Hey can’t you go through the forest yourself, I mean, I would just slow you down. You are the athletic one here.”
“NO!” yelled the frantic pony, attempting to hide the blush assaulting her face, “I won’t leave you because… um… who will save you if some animal just finds its way here.”
“I can reinforce the shelter," the stallion began to blush, "If one of us should make out of here it should be you, but if you can't find me after, just don't forget me.”
“I will not leave, this is my decision. You can’t or won’t change that.” The pony then made no attempt to hide her blush.
They both sat in silence, but this wasn’t solving anything. They were on the brink of darkness. It was then, that they saw the sign that Celestia had sent them. A Pegasus began to enter their field of view. From their view she had a yellow mane, a grey coat, a mail pack, and bubbles as her cutie mark. It was at that moment that Silver Shield finally agreed to his plan and followed the gray Pegasus.
Then it was up to Two Sides to hold the area which they would call “home.”

I feel as though i finished this chapter revisions and all. YAY
True Devotion is Love
As Shield was chasing the Pegasus, she was amazed at the fact that she was still keeping up to it. The run was long and tiring, but the thought of never seeing Timothy hurt her worse than any pain she has felt before. It wasn’t long before the gray Pegasus touched down, waiting for the earth pony she saw following her. It took six minutes for Shield to reach the Pegasus.
Shield began to plead for the aid of the Pegasus.
“All you had to do was ask once.”
“Thank you so much, you have no idea how much you’re helping me”
Just as she was thanking the Pegasus, she opened her eyes. This is an abnormal sight for the pony. She had never seen a Pegasus with eyes like this one’s. They were self-contradicting, constantly attempting to be in two places at once. This had the pony’s attention of about five minutes, after getting her mind in its normal state they ran off.
As the pair began galloping towards what Shield believed to be the right path, they began to talk. Their conversations were nothing more than simple small talk. This lasted until The Pegasus asked, “How did you two get out this far? No pony I know can do that.” The question brought Shield to a halt; her mind was pacing for an answer, she wasn't capable of thinking of one.
+++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++
The sky was beginning to get darker as the two mares galloped in a now unknown direction. Shield began to worry thinking that the worst had yet to come. The only thing she wanted to think about was returning to her former owner’s embrace. The simple fact was that the mare was in love, but she couldn’t understand her selection. It was like this even on Earth.
The cross-eyed Pegasus was constantly asking question, but the emotionally confused mare just ignored them. She was ready to collapse, both of them, but they still pressed onwards. Their hooves were ready to start bleeding. The pain was nothing compared to what Shield is going through.
They rested underneath a tall oak tree; there was a carving on it. The carving was not easy to decipher, but the two mares figured it out. “ALWAYS YOURS FOREVER MORE LOVE ----“ The name was never deciphered by the two mares. With a dream now in place they both rested.
“Oh My Gosh! Why did we sleep, he could be hurt now, or worse! Please tell me it’s not too late. Hey! Wake up, we have to go now!” The earth pony was in a state of extreme fear; she was hyperventilating and sweating profusely.
The Pegasus then slowly rose from her slumber. “Hey… why’d you do that…? I’m still sleepy.” She then let out a load audible yawn. This action didn’t help the other pony she was with. It now got her on the verge of tears. “Hey. I’m sorry. Let’s go get that Stallion of yours.”
They both galloped faster than they had ever dreamed of going. Their speed was caused by extreme desperation. They would reach the newly built shelter in less than one hour.
+++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++
Two Sides began to work on a shelter for his mare to return to. The shack was to become a haven. This is what the new “man” was striving for. As time passed he began to wonder if the mare was even thinking about him. His feelings were let out in a stream of poetic words that he never knew. His new description of her was extraordinarily beautiful. It was when she was gone that he was able to show his true colors. The emotion and passion allowed his brown coat and onyx mane to shimmer.
As he felt that his mare drew closer he saw that the sun was beginning to set. He entered his home and shut the doors. Night had passed, but he was worried. If another day was to pass he would go in after her. He hoped that his love would lead her to that house. This was all in his mind, but reality can be a tough teacher.
+++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++
The two mares began to lose their speed. Even emotional fuel has its limits. They had galloped for a total of five hours. Shield once again began to lose her hope for a future with the pony that awaited her. The Pegasus grabbed the pony’s hoof and took to the skies. The shelter was a long way ahead but she flew as fast as she could with the cargo she was carrying.
It began to rain, heavily, but this did not stop the Pegasus. She continued to fly even when she knew the consequences. Even with hope as their guide, the Pegasus would not falter. The only problem was that fate had to tell the Pegasus not to interfere with the future. A stray lightning bolt shocked the Pegasus, causing her to lose consciousness, and they plummeted towards the forest floor.
During this fall, Shield had an epiphany. She knew that fate had brought them together for a reason and she was sure she knew the reason. With all doubt now gone, she used the Pegasus as a springboard and jumped onto a tree. The tree did not completely break her fall, but she was still able to move.
She ran towards the house, only to hear a very load yell. She knew who this was, it was Two Sides. She looked at the skies and realized she was in the midst of true darkness. The run was excruciating but necessary. She was waiting for her “man” to hold her.
Instead she found bears. She stared at the corpse of one and the other two attacking their home. She realized that Sides had killed one of them but the other two were too much. With her Stallion within her grasp, she ran jump onto the roof of the house. The audible thump was heard by Sides.
He immediately opened a hatch and assisted the pony inside. It was there that he said, loudly and firm, “I love you. From the moment I saw the 'true' you, to now, you are nothing if not true beauty. I love you, Silver Shield and nothing can change that.”
The realization brought Shield to an extreme blush and she responded, “I love you too. I loved you on earth and even now, I don’t know why, but I don’t regret it.”
They both had stated their true feeling and were beginning to see the world clearly. They were interrupted by the bears and their constant clawing. They had decided that the bears were to “disappear.” Their plan was simple. The night was not over and rain began to fall. With their hearts as one, they ran out knowing that death may await them. Fear was not an emotion they felt when they were together.
The bears were now like docile creatures to them. With the use of branches and crude cutlery, which they had found within the bowels of the house, one of bears was taken down. With this they had presumed that the death of one more bear was an easy task. The couple had attempted to try the same tactic. The problem was that the bear was not making the same mistakes as its other. This bear had learned. Instead of running towards the ponies at a berserk speed, it danced along the reach of the blades and branches. The battle ended the same way, one cut lead to a dead bear. With the beast gone they were finally able to enjoy their newfound love.
+++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++
They had thought it was over, but suddenly the supposed dead bear awoke and swiped at Two Sides. He saw the action and closed his eyes waiting for death. He hit the ground harder than a rock and believed that he had passed. He found the strength to open his eyes. To his surprise he was unharmed, after a second look he was devastated. Silver was lying on the ground in a shallow pool of crimson and both eyes shut.
This sight drove the already unstable pony off the deep end. His coat and mane changed color. His mane turned into a shade of white that would only be found in an asylum, and his mane turned a pitch black. With this radical transformation, he was given a gift. This was his own magic. When he felt a pulse in his hooves his eyes turned into the same shade of white and he lifted the bear. It was at that moment that the bear vanished from Equestria. No corpse, no remains, just nothing.
With his vengeance aside he galloped to the side of his wounded mare. He was in a state of mass hysteria.
“NO, NO, NO, NO! DON’T YOU LEAVE ME! I CAN’T LET GO YET, PLEASE DON’T GO!”
The destroyed stallion closed his eyes and began to let out tears of passion, never before had he cried like this. It was when this happened that the mare summoned all of her strength to open her eyes and lay her hoof on his cheek.
“hey… listen, I don’t wanna leave you… please don’t leave me…”
The stallion opened his eyes.
“I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU! I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, i love you…”
“do me a big favor… please live. You’ll live for the two of us... Just don’t leave here…”
With this she asked him for the one thing she wanted in her heart most of all.
“… before I go please… give me your love…”
The stallion heard this and kissed her with all the passion he had bottled up inside of him. He was a true lover. His partner did the same though her strength was fading she found that her love allowed her to return the kiss, with the same amount of passion as the stallion. Before long he sharing his passion with a corpse.
“NO! WHY! WHY! WHY!”
From behind a gigantic tree the Pegasus saw the spectacle.
“YOU! Come here.”
The Pegasus was startled, but after seeing what this pony did to the bear she exited her hiding spot.
“I need you to help me build a home. Please help me.”
"Now I see why..." the Pegasus whispered, realizing what the mare had done.
It was with this event that caused Two Sides never left his forest. He stayed with his love for as long as he could remember. It was the constant visits from the Pegasus that got to him. In the end he only had one true love, but it was now a broken Shield.
Next Chapter - True Radiance
All right, this is the end of the short version of Two Sides story normally it was longer and involved every other o my personal pones but with only two chapters cut were made.
True Radiance
Time passes and light begins to die. True radiance does not come from the stars. They die in the end of their run, like torches or candles. True radiance comes from hope. The candle that has ever burning light, only the holder can blow the flame away. For the ponies on earth, this flame was about to be extinguished.
When darkness reigns, only a single candle is needed for view. For Radiant Beam, her light was waning. Trapped in a cage for the public to look at, this is not her true habitat. The smell of dung hit her nose, for she was enslaved for the public, along with a multitude of other creatures from exotic lands. Her schedule was predetermined, at midnight she would escape.
During the wait for that night, she was in an unbearable pain for some reason. Every night she would let out load neighs of pain. This startled the zoo keepers, who in return fired their tranquilizer rifles. With acute accuracy, they hit their mark causing the pony to collapse after thirty minutes. This same cycle continued for two weeks.
Luck was a deciding factor that was not in her favor. One day before the midnight escape there was chatter of “putting her down”. This caused the already broken pony to panic in her mind. She was in a frantic state for the rest of the day; this did not help her cause and only furthered their suspicions.
The clock struck eleven. She was prepared to leave the hell that she was forced to live in for five years. Forty five minutes left, and she was ecstatic getting ready for her return to true home. Thirty minutes left, the dim candle was now a bon fire, raging inside the mind of the happy pony. It was too early to begin celebrating. The zookeeper entered the false habitat with a syringe. She sensed the danger and began to avoid the zookeeper.
Fifteen minutes left, she had been doing a good job at avoiding the zookeeper. She began to feel a pain on her forehead. Along with this her neighing began to sound like English. The pain was almost unbearable, but the thought of leaving gave her the strength to endure the pain. Five minutes remained on her clock. The pain had left her; instead a horn was placed on her forehead. She was ready to leave but the zookeeper hit her. The needle had entered her flank.
The pony did not notice this but the poison was slowly working its way up to her heart. This would be instantly fatal to any normal pony, but not to a true unicorn. The clock hit twelve and she disappeared in a blinding light.
+++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++
Equestria, a home to all ponies, Unicorn, Pegasus, or Earth, was here true habitat, her home. The now dizzy Beam began to stumble her way to a shadow, dodging bushes and branches. The shadow resembles an average house. The only difference was that it was in the middle of the forest. Before entering the establishment she was greeted by a Pegasus. The Pegasus had a grey coat and a blonde mane.
“You really don’t wanna go in there. The person who’s in there is sad, he just lost someone.”
“I…I don’t think you… understand my pro…blem.” The unicorn began to lose her breath as she spoke. “Please… let me speak to… the owner of the house.”
“He doesn’t even let me in. He used to, but after seeing the zebra, he doesn’t let anyone in.”
“What zebra… I didn’t know a zebra lived here.”
“Come On, follow me.”
The two began to move forward. The Unicorn was unaware of the poison running through her veins. As they were going forward, the Unicorn was losing her strength, her vision was getting blurred, and she was finding it much more difficult to continue. When the Pegasus realized they had reached their destination she saw her companion fall, Beam was breathing faintly.
“ZECORA! HELP PLEASE!”
“Yes, dear child how may I help,” the zebra then saw the unconscious Unicorn, “OH MY, GET HER INSIDE, FIND THE KELP!”
Once the zebra saw that the pony was inside she found special kelp that has restorative properties. This wasn’t a permanent solution, but it would help circulate the blood throughout the body. The unicorn awoke, unaware of her current state. The exotic animal began to speak.
“Thank goodness child, you are awake. Your potion might take a while to make.”
“Ow… potion, for what? I’m not sick just tired.”
The Pegasus then responded, “There was a needle in your butt when you fell.”
“Wait, wait, wait a needle. THE ZOOKEEPER!” The unicorn was in a state of shock. She then realized that the zookeeper had injected her with the poison. She then realized that the zebra had said she had a cure.
“You, Zebra you can fix this right, please say yes.”
“As I said, I can fix this but it may take a while. So my dear, get some equipment from the pile.”
The Zebra pointed to a pile of random equipment. The items were scavenged form the remains of ponies who entered a house. The owner gave the zebra all of their belongings. The sight of the items was suspicious, but it did not make the Unicorn's view sway.
“Hey Zecora, what did you and Sides talk about. I mean if you can say it.” The Pegasus began a conversation.
“Ditzy my child, do not get involved. If you do, your fate will be dissolved.”
The Pegasus nodded, then flew off.
+++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++ +++
The attention of the zebra then switched back to the poisoned Unicorn. She was still in a state of shock. Attempts to remember when she was injected were pointless. When she wasn't able to remember this, the bon fire turned into a torch. It showed on her mane. It had turned into a darker shade.
“Oh dear. Child, your life is yours to claim. If I may ask, what is your name?”
“Radiant Beam. Why?”
“Radiant Beam, a name of beauty. So what brought you here, walking all fruity?”
“You wouldn’t believe me. I can’t even believe it.”
“Beam, my dear, don’t be afraid. I am only here to give you aid.”
With her trust now on the zebra, she began to spin the tale of hell. Her personal hell was relived at every sentence. By the time she had finished, her heart couldn’t take it and she was on the brink of tears. Zecora saw this and helped the pony get regular. She helped the pony to retain her mental status. Even with this a sound rung out. The brew sounded, the potion was done and the pony was cured, but her trip was far from over. Even with the poison out of her body, she still had to pass the forest, one which two ponies couldn’t cross.
“Hey, Zecora, right, do you know the pony that lives in the house down there. At first I tried to go in there but the Pegasus, um Ditzy, told me not to go in. She brought me here before she gave me any names.”
“Sorry my child, but this I cannot do. If I tell you anything, your pain, he will renew.”
The sentence startled the pony, but she began to feel up to par and using her horn got the needed equipment and set off. The question is that, with hope the size of a torch can she pass a truly dark forest.
To Be Continued…
Sorry about the wait i had to do a couple of things (I am in high school for god's sake.) So here is the new chapter, I will give two chapters every week, Also with a lot of revisions in between it might be a better read, so thanks for reading.
Trails of Light
The unicorn was off in a heartbeat, but curiosity had struck her mind. She had wanted to see the pony that lived in the house. Without notifying the zebra she set off in the direction of the abandoned house, hoping to see somepony. Little did she know that the decision would change her life.
The trail was shorter now that her health has been restored. Once she knew she was headed in the right direction, fear entered her mind. What if the pony was barbaric or a killer? The thoughts were invading her head. She was afraid of just seeing the house, but she had to know what lived in there.
The house was found, her fear was at an immeasurable level. She circled the house looking for a way in. The only thing she found were claw marks. This was a sign telling the pony to exit he area, but she continued.
The door creaked open.
She saw a pony walk out of the door. His coat was pure white and his mane was pitch black. His cutie mark was a black ink blot. He then proceeded to yell.
“I KNOW YOU’RE OUT HERE! COME OUT!”
The unicorn was startled and made a load noise as she quickly hit the house wall. She thought that she was going to die. As a last act she would show herself to the pony.
“I’m coming out, please don’t hurt me.”, pleaded the frightened mare.
“I was never going to, please come in. Make yourself at home. It’s been a while since I’ve last let anypony in here.”
The mare went into the house, with extreme caution. She was surprised to find it looking amazing. The mysterious stallion had cleaned it for a long time. They were walking on top of a grave. The whole house was a memorial.
“So what is your name? I’m Two Sides.”
“My name is Radiant Beam. I’m trying to find my way to Ponyville.”
“Ponyville, good luck. I couldn’t make it there. Well, now I can.”
The mare noticed that the stallion was wearing clothes. He was sporting gloves and a blazer; the colors matched his coat and mane. They completely covered his front hooves and his back. She found this suspicious. She asked about the clothes.
“Why do you where clothes? I mean every other pony don’t.”
“I’m afraid that I can’t tell you that. If I do I’ll have to make sure you never leave this place" The stallion then noticed the horn on Beam's head. "Wait, you’re a unicorn. I need your magic.”
“What do you mean ‘need my magic’?”
“Can you summon, lets say, a spirit to speak? Please say yes.”
Beam said yes, she could, but only for five minutes. This was all the time the stallion needed. He told the mare to call on Silver Shield, a pony who had passed. The Unicorn then proceeded to ask the mare’s spirit to speak with them. She exited the room when the spirit manifested itself. From the other room she heard crying and hysterical yelling. This was all she heard for three of the five minutes.
Then the two ponies began to speak coherently.
“Why are you wearing clothes again? I thought I told you that you don’t need to.”
“I wear them for a reason. To make sure no one gets hurt.”
“Take them off, for me.”
As Beam heard this, her curiosity had reached its peak and she then opened the door slightly. She was now able to see what was happening. He began with his gloves. What they were hiding was amazing. His front hooves were a metallic black and had glowing white lights on them.
“So you weren’t lying when you said you were an engineer. What do those things do?”
“They increase my strength tenfold, and work as materializers. I can’t believe I found the pats to make these.”
He closed his eyes and stuck out his right hoof. A dim light was being emitted from his hoof and at that instant the light vanished. In his hoof was a razor.
The snooping mare was attempting to comprehend what had just happened. Her mind was blown and the only thing she was able to do, was stare, mouth open. She was hoping that he would take off his coat; she wanted to see the surprise under that layer of leather.
“So do you still wanna see? It’s up to you Silver.”
The spiritual pony nodded for him to continue. He began to take of his coat. The suspense that was building was unbearable for Beam. She wanted to tear off the coat and inspect his back. See knew that would cause her untimely demise. The coat was off.
“What are those bars?” Asked Silver, who looked as though shock had hit her hard.
“I think it’s best if I show you, stand back.”
The stallion stood upright. He closed his eyes and began to breathe from his nostrils. He tensed up every muscle on his body and, with a flash; two wings appeared on his back. They were white and looked like they were holograms. He was levitating and speaking at the same time.
“Told you. You had to see it, I couldn’t explain it.”
At this point the unicorn had seen enough. She closed the door and ran out. The front door was locked. Two Sides appeared, naked, and asked if she could help him with something. She immediately said yes to the proposal, hoping that this would keep her from dying.
“She still has a good thirty seconds left; help me tie her soul to this house. We both want this, please help us.”
“You want to tie her soul here? I’m not a spirit expert!”
“LISTEN TO ME! I WILL NOT LOSE HER A SECOND TIME! YOU ARE GOING TO HELP US!”
With that said they both galloped to the room only to find Silver dematerializing.
“NO, NO, NO, NOT AGAIN! I WILL NOT LOSE YOU!”
His eyes turned white and his metal hooves began to glow. Along with this the unicorn had her magic ready.
“YOU AREN’T GONNA LEAVE A SECOND TIME! YOU’LL BE HERE, WITH ME!”
The pair stirred so much magic that the resulting light of the action had enough power to blind any Pegasus for a fifteen mile radius. They had given their all and are not sure of the result. Beam had fainted, her energy was depleted and she couldn’t continue. The light had died and Two Sides had fainted as well. Their sleep was deep and peaceful.
The sleep that they had induced on themselves was finally broken. Two Sides arose and began to cry. Beam was under the impression that they had failed. Dispite not knowing the two ponies, she began to shed tears. Until Two Sides let out a powerful yell.
“YOU DIDN’T LEAVE!”
The mission had been accomplished. Beam still did not have the strength needed to stand. The stallion aided her and called for Ditzy Doo to bring the unicorn to her house. The Pegasus responded quickly, getting to the house in ten minutes.
They all met in the yard of the home. Silver had to hide herself from Ditzy, because she did not want to scare her. That thought was destroyed when Two Sides explained the entire story. Ditzy stared at the door hoping to see her lost friend. That was when Silver appeared directly in front of the Pegasus.
“Listen Ditzy,” said the mare, who stood in front of her friend as a spirit, “Let her stay with you for as long as she needs to, when she’s ready take her to Ponyville. Okay.”
The Mail mare nodded and was off with the Unicorn. In the middle of the flight, Beam spoke,
“So, is it alright if I bunk with you? I don’t wanna go to Ponyville just yet.”
“Sure thing, I hope you don’t mind kids.”
The Unicorn was puzzled at this question, but it did not affect her. She had made three new friends within her first week back in Equestria. The torch that had burned inside of her heart was ablaze. So they both were riding into the sun, with new lessons learnt and worries diminished. The hope that was lost was found again by the Unicorn.
Next Chapter - Time Records
I FINISHED IT, YEAH! Hopefully the next chapter gets in my head quickly.
Time Records
Not everypony is loving and caring. Sometimes, they are born with hate burrowed deep in their hearts. This was the case with the assassin known as Time Tosser. From birth he was ready to kill without remorse. This pony was an oddity. The pony was a Pegasus, yet he was able to use magic without a horn. Being a native of Canterlot, he enjoyed all of the fancy aesthetics of life. His heart was ice cold and he was determined to leave it like that.
The princess put a bounty on the cold-blooded stallion. She was sure that someone would assign her as his next target. Multiple bounty hunters went after the pony, with bits in their eyes. Their skills were questionable, but the princess was sure that they would get the job done. The moment they were sent out, they did not have a clue on what to do to track him. A guard decided to aid them.
Time, whose coat was a sage color and mane split between a light and dark green, was ready to go after his next target, He was given no details on his appearance but his name given. Doctor Hooves, A strange name, but this wouldn’t stop the cold pony. He didn’t care who his target was, the only thing he cared about was the payment after the murder.
His instincts told him to search Canterlot first, so that was his first action. He entered the city without gathering any unnecessary attention. Once inside his search commenced. He laid booby traps and baits that any colt would fall for. He was sure one of the traps would get Hooves. He stayed in a motel for the remainder of his time.
Two days pass and the traps come out with no results. He went to inspect one of his traps when he was attacked by a rather hefty stallion. Time did not know who this was, but the same thought entered his mind. “I need to kill him.” With this his eyes began to glow a dim green. The stallion had stopped moving entirely.
Time approached the stallion with his blade in hand. The stallion was not able to react to the sight. It was in an instant that Time had jabbed the dagger in the chest of the frozen and defenseless pony. His eyes regained their normality and the stallion hit the ground dead. It was over before it began.
This cycle repeated itself for the next three traps he went to check up on. The pony was on the verge of letting himself go and succumb to his demon. Rage and Anger, these emotions controlled the time stopping pony, He barely had control of these emotions. He was ready to allow himself to give in to Rage. That was when he noticed a pony go to the trap he had just checked. He quickly fixed himself and entered the room where he had set the trap.
The pony entered the room, his coat was a light brown color and his mane was a darker shade of his coat. He was sporting a bow tie. Right after the brown stallion entered a royal guard proceeded into the room.
“Sir you are not safe here let us vacate the premises.”
“What do you mean, please explain yourself.”
“Listen to me Mister Hooves we have to …”
With this the hidden pony’s eyes emitted a dim green. He had found his target. The victorious colt took his time in getting to his target. The guard was stationary for a prolonged amount of time. His hooves took a cyan glow and he was free. Time was shocked at the phenomenon. No pony had the magical capability to break free from his time trap. This was the first time this had happened in nineteen years.
“What is your name, no pony should be able to break out of that.”
“My name is Solar Edge, Mister Time. I’m here to ensure the future safety of Princess Celestia.”
“So you’re a vigilante. I don’t need this ability to kill. Just let me take my target and we can both be on our…”
“NO MORE BLOOD WILL BE SPILT! I am here to make sure that every pony is safe from cretins like you.”
“So, we can’t avoid fighting. Fine, it’s your funeral.”
The two stallions took their positions and glared at each other. Edge took the first hit. He was hit precisely in between his ribcage. This knocked all of the air out of the stallion’s lungs. He was down before the fight even began.
“I told you I don’t need magic to fight. This is ov…”
Before the pony was able to finish his sentence, Edge had delivered a hard buck to Time’s sternum. He was able to take in a good amount of damage but not all of it. They both stood on their back hooves and began to trade punches. Time quickly took out his dagger and went for a quick lunge at the guard. It connected and blood was streaming from the wounded Edge’s side. He fell to the ground.
“You… You coward…”
“I still won didn’t I. How you win doesn’t matter just as long as you achieve your goal.”
“You can kill me but don’t take Hooves. Please.”
“You need punishment. I know that you led the others to my location. This will hurt worse than anything you’ve ever felt.”
The bruised and bloodied Time Tosser walked toward Doctor Hooves, still frozen. He took his dagger and placed it on the stallion’s throat.
“How does it feel, knowing that you can’t do anything?”
“DON’T DO IT, I BEG PLEASE, DON’T!”
The coldhearted pony took his blade and ran it through the throat of the frozen stallion. A river of crimson erupted from his neck. Solar Edge was crying.
“If you come after me again, I will kill you.”
His eyes were dead. Unfeeling and cold, he stared into the eyes of the wounded vigilante. He had done this before. The only thing that he looked forward to was his payment. This was the last he would see of that “Heroic” stallion. His heart was as cold as ice and not even that event chipped at the ice.
He was ready for his next target. Time went off to his home and waited to see another name or photo. It was to his surprise when he saw the Princess standing outside of his house.
“Hey! Why are you here?”
“To ask a favor of you, there will be a big payout at the end.”
“Say no more, I’m in.”
The motives of the Princess visiting the pony she feared most were unknown, but she had darkness in her heart.
“I need you to take out one pony.”
“Who would that be?”
“A stallion by the name of Two-Sides.”
“Where is he?”
“The Everfree Forest, now go after him.”
“Sure thing your Highness.”
To Be Continued…
Damn this took while. Ideas were flying around my head so I had to pick a couple of them. It was difficult trying to make Time Tosser seem like the hero, but that’ll have to wait for the next chapter. This isn’t the end of Solar Edge in my stories.
For those of you who read this to its current end please tell me what i should expand on. I'm limiting myself to only two chapters a pony and I have final exams coming up on certain subjects, after the exams ill get to work on expanding them.
