This place is so Goddamn cold! Who could possibly live in this weather?! It's been four straight days seen I left the confront of the forest and now wished that I used my 'monster name' to gain more passages then just walking onto the frozen king's alleyway! But my travel will been done shortly... I hope.

I wore my warmest clothes to my travel to her home. By warmest I meant my original clothes plus some animal furs that I hunted for. I'm not making the same mistakes the Nazis did when they invaded Russia. I wore dozens of fur. From bunnies to large wolves, I hunted them down for their fur. I used to hate hunting fur but it's even that or freeze to death. My choice was clear as this frozen wasteland!

Soon I heard cheers coming from up a tall hill. I doubled my walking and reached to the top of the hill, ducking down to make sure no one could see me. When I reached to the top of the hill, I was meet with bright light and colourful crystals houses and castle. If it wasn't for the sun's light that brighten the snows two days ago, I think I could gotten my eyes blinded. I brought out my telescope that I 'borrowed' from a pony hunter and looked though it.

The whole city was flooded by ponies, shining and normal ones. They were laughing and chatting while the little ones played with small games and other activities. There were not a lot of guards then I was prepared to faced because this place was called The Crystal Empire and I know very well what an empire is, so why are there not a lot of guards? Typical ponies...Typical ponies. I searched the city though my telescope and found some thing very interesting. In the middle of the castle was a heart. This heart was almost like the colour of my rose. Blue but a bit lighter and more...Well crystal. But even from this far away I could felt some kind of feeling, a present from this heart. Was it-NO! Its only hers feeling. But damn was it close. Suddenly, sounds of trumpets was heard. This startle me and I looked to where those trumpets. I found four of those crystal ponies blowing the instruments and one normal pony standing in front of them. He was yellow with a blue mane and waring golden armour. I don't like that one, don't know why but I do. He said something but I was too far to hear it. Soon the others began to move closer to the castle. Gathering like maggots to a trash. Out of the castle came two Alicorns. One was blue and the other was white. Their manes were flowing and had beauty colours. Their voices though were much more powerful.

"Good evening, everypony!" The blue one boosted. "Today is a time to rejoice and celebrate for a new member of the royal family has been born!"

"Everypony!" The white one said with a motherly tone. "Please make a warm welcome to Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armour and their foal, Princess Skyla!" My heart missed a beat when the white one mentioned her name. They stepped aside and letted her, her husband and their child. The city was cheering and stamping their hooves on the ground like they were clapping. I focused my telescope some more and try and get a better image. As softy as they could, they came out of the shadows. My wonder for who she married has finally shown his face. I snarled angrily, for the one she married...Was that boy on that day! She would married the one she stayed with and caused me this much pain and suffering while also being hunted down like some animal for many years?! This boy doesn't not deserve her! I looked at her, Cadence. Her present and her feeling was slowly creeping into my heart and soul. But I could only felt betrayal and sorrow and loss. Although the true feeling was somewhere down there, its just I cannot feel it anymore. They walked up and looked down at their crowd of ponies all cheering for their child birth. I tried to see the child, but it was covered in blankets. I could only see its light pink horn coming out of the blanket. So small and yet I felt no love for it and no reason to care. That's why I'm here. I looked at Cadence. But she wasn't looking at the baby. Instead...She was looking straight at me. I jumped and ducked down from her stare. She couldn't see me, could see? No. Unless she had super visions then its impossible for her to see me this far away from the city. I looked back though the telescope and saw her looking down at the child with the largest smile sense...sense. Is this what she felt around me or was I imagining that? ARH! The past stays in the past. And soon, so shall mine. Cadence and the boy when back inside along with the other Alicorns.

I put the telescope back into my bag and watched the rest of the city celebrating the day of the new royal baby. I watched them all play, chat and laugh with each other. Its like those years ago in the woods with Cadence. Those were the years...those years. The city was too full and I would be spotted easily by the guards or any other. Perhaps under the cover of night I could make it to the castle undetected by any ponies. So I headed down from the hill and went to find a place to rest till night fall. Somewhere warm and not cold like this wasteland. I found a cave not so far from the city and decided that's the place to rest and gain more strength for the little surprise.

She'll be very surprise...Very indeed.

Night has fallen and things were going to plan. Spilling though the defences was easy. Like I said before, there wasn't a lot of guards and they were only patrolling the roads and streets, not the alleyways or on top of houses. Some guards they are.

Soon I reached to the castle. Though the entrance is blocked by a dozen of guards, all with watchful eyes. So much for that. Where to go now? I looked at the castle to see if there is another way in. Then I remembered. There was that entrance at the top of the castle that they shown the baby. That's not guarded nor would it. Perfect. I went around the watchful guards and reached the opposite side of the castle wall. I looked up to see how I can get up there. To my surprise, this castle is truly made of crystals. There was bits of crystals sticking out like those rock climbing wall for kids. I smiled at this discovery. The surprise will begin.

I began to climb the wall by grabbing those crystal that was out of place. It was cold but it didn't stopped me for continuing my surprise. Damn, this castle is huge. Lucky her. The was long and boring. Sometime I looked at the city and see its beauty and wonder. But soon enough, I'd reached to the where Cadence shown this Skyla to the city. I climbed over and landed in front of the doorway to what I think is her room. There was a bed large enough to hold two people in, so this must be her bed. Next to it was a small cot with many small details on it. But no one is there, so they must be somewhere in the castle. I began to walk inside of the room and searched around it. They got a lot of presents and lots of cards saying stuff like well done it's an filly, that sort of stuff. Seriously there's a hold area just for these things. It's very strange.

Suddenly the door began to open slowly. I jumped and ran outside and hided myself behind a wall leading to her room. I poked my head out to see who was coming in to the room. Out from the door was Cadence and that boy Shining Armour with the baby in Cadence's right hoof. The baby was asleep, being putted into the cot to rest. Cadence placed the baby into the cot and kissed the baby on the cheek. She smiled for a while until see look outside. I pulled my head back so she wouldn't see me. I heard hoofsteps coming closer to me. No! I must not be seen. I held my breath and hoped she doesn't see me. Luckily, she stopped only a foot away from seeing me, I could just see her nose and horn coming though but that was it.

"Cadence" Came Shining Armour's voice. "What is it? Is something wrong?" I almost snarled at his care for her. He cause this to happened and now look at what he has done!

"It's nothing, honey" Cadence replied. I nearly throw up from his nickname. "It's just...It's been ten years since he ran away and I thought he would come and see Skyla or even me for once." She...She still care?

"I know, Cady" Shining said pitifully. He has no right to call her that! "But if it makes you feel any better, there's reports on a creature known as 'The Anghenfil' has been very common in the Everfree forest with the same details as him, perhaps he's still out there in the forest and Luna has found a dream were you were in with a strange creature. It could be him still, just out in the forest somewhere" Reports? What reports? And who's this 'Luna'?

"I still wish he was here for one day" Cadence answered with a sigh. She stood there for a few seconds before heading inside. "Lets leave Skyla here and see to that our guests return to their chambers" I heard an agreeable hum from the boy and they both walked out to the door, leaving the room to Skyla...And me. I poked my head out again to see if they were still there only to see the room empty. I then entered the room and headed towards the cot where Skyla laid. I brought out my woodsmen's axe that was on my back out and placed it in my hands. Time for the little surprise now. I reached up to the cot and got a perfect image of this baby.

She was light pink with lavender and yellow mane. She was laying down on a blueish sheet and under a purplish cover. She wore a little crown on her head that looked almost like Cadence's one. I looked at her for a little while at how she brought so much joy in Cadence's life. Skyla must be her whole world...Now for the little surprise. I raised my axe up in the air and before I could make the surprise. Skyla gave me a surprise. She opened her eyes and stared straight into my eyes. I frozen still, she looked into my eyes and I looked in hers. She has my eyes, light bluish eyes like mine. I didn't see the boy's eyes so my thought was that he had those eyes and so Skyla will have them as well. But it just crept on me all of a sudden. Soon she began to giggled, she was giggling at me and had her hooves up to grab me. I stared at her as I lowered my axe and placed it on my back. I then leaned down and let Skyla hold my left hand. She grabbed it as she giggled happily. I was still in shock from this. But at the same time...Glad? I couldn't described it but it seem as if fate held something else and didn't wanted this surprise. As she giggled. I chuckled for the first time for a long while. I haven't felt this sense...sense...Time for another surprise. I slowly and gently lifted Skyla out of her cot and rapped the cover around her only letting her face shown while the rest was covered in the cover. I looked at her as she was slowly going back to sleep.

"Don't you worry, Skyla" I whispered as I grinned happily and somewhat sinisterly. "Daddy's here" I kissed her on her forehead and began to walk towards my exit as softly as I could be. I was just about to leaped down and land on the building under us before the door opened again. I stopped in my tracks and turned my head slowly to see whom it was. I heard a gasp of dread and shock as I found who it was. Why her go course. She looked at with in fright and I to her in delight as I smiled at her. I letted her see Skyla in my hand and chuckled some more when she saw her.

"Your wish is granted" I said while chuckling. As soon as I said that I taken out a potion that was made by a 'neutral ally' and jumped. When I jumped out, I threw the potion down on the ground where a portal opened to where I wanted to go. I went though the portal and quickly spun around so my back was facing the portal because it was placed on one of my home's wall so I would of landed on my face if I didn't spun around. I landed on my feet and looked back at the portal. I saw Cadence catching up and so I clicked my fingers so the portal could close and reopened somewhere else. The portal disappeared, leaving only a chuckling me and a sleeping Skyla alone in my home. I looked down at Skyla and smiled.
