In the dark of the night, where only the moon light shined was a figure who stood on a rooftop looking down as guards walked by. The figure wore dark clothes that covered his entire body as well as his face making it where you could only see his eyes. The figures eyes were grey. He stood at 6"1 and looked to weigh about 165. The figure also wore armor. (Story picture) At his hip was a Shéng biāo. On his back strapped was a ninjato though instead of a square cross guard was a circular guard. He watched for a few minutes then vanished.

One guard walked up to two guards. "Seen any unusual activity?"

"Nope nothing."

"You know supposedly Hanzo is coming to assassinate lord Oda?" The other two guards looked confused.

"Hanzo?"

"Accordong to legend you never see him. Once you do he kills you. People have never seen him and lived to tell the tale..." The guard made a slicing sound as he ran his finger across his neck.

"If that is the case, then where do the legends come from?" One guard asked causing them all to be silent then started to laugh. "Oh man! I doubt he exists! Plus even if he does, there is no way we let him get to our lord."

"That's right!" The two then noticed one of them missing. "Huh? I guess he walked off when we weren't looking." The other guard shrugged his shoulders as the two walked off. Had they both looked behind them and up, they would of seen a body hanging with a blade piercing right between his eyes and a figure jumping.

Hanzo waited at a corner as a walked closer and when in range stepped around the corner stabbing the guard in the forhead and dragged his body into the shadows. Hanzo waited to make sure there were no guards and ran, jumping onto the roof, sprinting across it as he headed toward the main keep of the castle. He stopped once he reached the end of the rooftop and crouched down while peering over the side. When he saw it was cleared and jumped down and ran to the castle side and stared up at the top. He grabbed his Shéng biāo and threw it up embedding it into the side. Hanzo began to climb to the end of it and would throw another one while reclaiming the other one and continued to up the side.

Two guards stood outside of Lord Oda room wielding spears. One yawned. "Will you stop that! I will end up doing it to!" The other guard yelled.

"It's just so boring!" The other guard sighed. Before he could speak a kunai flew through embedding to his neck. "WHAT THE..." The guard was cut off as one embedded to his neck. The two guards choked on their blood. They both looked up just as a sword was swung down at them. Hanzo sheathed his sword and walked towards the door and slid it open, peering inside. He saw the person he was looking for sitting facing the picture of a dragon. Oda appeared to be a elderly man in his sixties.

"You can come out." Hanzo slid the door the rest of the way open and walked in and stood in the corner of the room.

"I'm guessing you are here for my head?" Oda asked as he sipped from his saki bow. Hanzo didn't say a word. Oda sighed as he stood up removing his robe to reveal he was wearing his armor. The armor was silver and covered every inch of his body except for his neck and head. At his hip was a katana.

"I guess it has come to this. We both know only one will come out of this alive." Oda spoke as he pulled his sword out. Hanzo stared at only to throw kunai which were blocked and Oda blocked a slice from Hanzo who disappeared back into shadows. "The darkness is your ally, I see." Oda swung his sword around to block a strike that was aimed at the back of his neck. "Is that the best you can do......assassin." Oda asked not mockingly but truthfully. Hanzo reply was to make illusions of himself appear, surrounding Oda.

"That's more like it." Oda sheathed his katana and stood in the quick draw stance as he scanned the illusions. The Hanzos jumped at Oda who pulled his sword out and connected with Hanzo sword. The illusions faded as the two pushed back against each other. Hanzo pushed his sword against Oda separating the two. The two traded blows with each other until Hanzo jumped back. Oda stared at him as he saw Hanzo make three more illusion of himself.

Oda sheathed his katana and stood in the quick draw stance waiting for Hanzo to move. Hanzo rushed him from all sides. Oda waited and then swung his sword through Hanzo. It seemed he connected until they all disappeared. Oda looked up  to see Hanzo falling down towards him with his sword ready to strike. Oda brought his sword up. He watched as a moon appeared behind Hanzo. There was a loud slicing sound. Hanzo was crouched behind Oda with his sword swung down.

Oda stood there and sheathed his sword. "Dance of the moon. A fitting end. Farewell.....Hanzo." Around Oda neck a red line appeared until it circled around his whole neck. Hanzo stood up and sheathed his sword and walked away, not looking back even as there was thud of something hitting the ground. Hanzo stood on the edge looking down. He simply let his body fall off. Hanzo body entered the shadows and simply disappeared.

In another place stood three people. One was in samurai armor that was red while the other person wore the same clothes as Hanzo without the sword and Shéng biāo. "You sure he won't fail?"

The person in the red armor was Lord Takeda, feudal lord of the dragon clan. Next to him was the grandmaster of the ninja clan known as the Iga. The grandmaster was named Ryu.

"Hanzo is one our best, my lord. He has not failed a mission."

The two were silent until they both heard a thud and turned to see Hanzo crouched down with his head bowed.

"Hanzo. Is oda dead?" Hanzo nodded his head. "Then the land is surly mine!" Takeda shouted. He looked at the other person in the room. "Tell the man we march immediately to the capital!" The soldier bowed and ran off to deliver the orders.

Takeda turned and looked at Hanzo. "I owe you much for this victory Hanzo. Speak you reward." Hanzo stood up and backed away into the shadows disappearing. "My lord, Hanzo does not seek rewards."

"How come he did not speak it then?"" Takeda asked as he rubbed his chin still staring at the spot where Hanzo was.

"Even among the Iga clan, he doesn't speak. I have only see him when there is a mission."

Takeda turned and stared at the moon as did Ryu. "A lone wolf."

Hanzo sat on the rooftop staring into the moon then down at Takeda army marching out of the gates towards the capital. "Hanzo." Ryu spoke as he appeared out of the shadows and walked to stand next to Hanzo. The two were silent. "You know you don't always have to be silent." Silence was all there was. Hanzo jumped into the disappearing causing Ryu to sigh. "One day. I hope to hear words from you....my friend." Ryu thought.

Hanzo stood next to Ryu and behind them were Iga clan. "Lord Takeda must have a good plan if it requires us." As always Hanzo didn't speak. They watched as warriors from the Oda charged at Takeda forces who were waiting in formation. The two watched as smoke began to appear around the Oda forces causing them to stop their advance. "Go!" The entire ninja clan ran into the smoke. Hanzo ran and threw three kunai killing three while he pulled his sword out and began to cut soldiers down left and right. In the smoke all you could hear were the sounds of soldiers being killed. The smoke finally began to disappear allowing the Oda warriors to fight back.

Iga ninjas fought back and were being cut down as they killed warriors. That changed as Takeda forced rushed in and began to help. "Perfect timing lord Takeda!"

Hanzo sliced threw a soldier neck and spin kicking another in the chest. Hanzo. "Dang it! All Iga pull back!" Ryu shouted. The Iga ninja began to retreat from the battle but some were cut down. Hanzo and Ryu both were able to escape but both cuts over their bodies. "That is why we stick to shadows." Ryu couldn't help but chuckle. The two watched the battle from top a hill as the Takeda were slowly pushing the Oda back.

"You know Oda son is supposedly able to use magic." Ryu spoke causing Hanzo to look at him. "Hey I don't know if its true." Ryu looked over and saw Oda son. "Well speak of the devil." Across the battlefield sat Oda son, Orochi wearing the same type of armor as his father. "Must run in the family I guess. Though it seems this battle is over though." As Takeda forces rushed at him. Orochi calmly stood up and pointed his hand and shot some fireball that exploded blowing away Takeda soldiers. "I guess the rumors are true."

Ryu and Hanzo watched as he walked toward the battlefield. "We better go stop him." Hanzo didn't speak but instead began to run over towards Orochi along with Ryu. The two went around the battlefield on a secret path. "Ok. Here's the plan. I'll distract mister fire ball guy and while he's distracted you slice his head off!" Hanzo nodded his head as the two approached Orochi and stopped behind a bush.

"Ok. Wait for it." Ryu spoke to Hanzo as he rushed Orochi who simply blocked the sword with his hands. Ryu jumped back throwing kunai which just bounced off Orochi armor. Orochi stared at Ryu only to raise his amrs to block Hanzo sword that would of taken his head off. Hanzo jumped backwards and landed next to Ryu. "How come nothing can ever be easy?"

"You must Ryu and Hanzo of the Iga clan." The two watched as Orochi summoned fire in his hands. "Today you die." Orochi threw the fire at the two who jumped and run around dodging the fireballs. "Hanzo!" Hanzo made illusions of himself and ran towards Orochi who threw his hands to the ground causing fire to shoot and dispel the illusions. Hanzo threw a kunai that hit Orochi in the back of his armor. "Fools!" That was when Orochi heard what appeared to be something burning. The next second there was a loud explosion.

Hanzo landed next to Ryu. "We need to make more of those!" The two stared into the smoke. "You figured he would of been stronger."  As the words left Ryu mouth a fireball flew at then two who dodged it. "Me and my big mouth." Orochi walked out of the smoke with his armor cracked and the left side of his face burned. "I am going to kill you both!"

Hanzo and Ryu stared at Orochi who did nothing but stood there. RYu narrowed his eyes and that was when he saw the archers aiming at Hanzo. As the arrows were released, time seemed to slow down as Ryu stood in front of Hanzo letting the arrows embed into his body. Ryu fell backwards but was caught by Hanzo. "Seems I save you this time friend." Hanzo grabbed his friend hand. "Hanzo...don't just live in...silence....my friend." Hanzo felt the hand release and he lowered Ryu to the ground. "How the mighty have fallen." Orochi mocked.

Hanzo stood up and looked over at Orochi who looked bored. Hanzo rushed at him and swung his sword repeatedly while Orochi just simply blocked it with ease. Hanzo swung his sword only to get uppercut into the air while Orochi grabbed his foot and slammed him into the ground. Orochi stood above Hanzo and pointed his hand down at him. Before he could fire off his spell, he felt a blade pierced him through his back. He looked back to see a rope in Hanzo hand. "GET OVER HERE!" Hanzo yelled as he pulled Orochi towards him.

Orochi landed on the ground only to grunt in pain as Hanzo lifted his body by the blade. "Ium...nook...sako...naru....saka....munk saka." Hanzo swung his sword down and through Orochi neck, separating his head from his body. Hanzo stared at Orochi then simply let his body fall to the ground. Hanzo stared at him then sheathed his sword and began to walk towards Ryu body only to become paralyzed. Hanzo watched as what appeared to be a portal open beneath him, dragging him through it. The last thing he saw was Ryu lifeless body.

Hanzo opened his eyes to see he was in a forest of some kind and immediately stood up and looked around with narrowed eyes. Hanzo relaxed and stood as he took his surroundings in. Not sure where he was going he jumped into a tree and began to jump from tree to tree heading in a random direction but stopped in one tree branch as he heard voices.

"Are you sure this was a good idea?"

"Well we did say we wanted to see if we could get our cutie marks by being explorers."

Hanzo watched as three ponies walked from a bush.

"Yeah but in the everfree forest?"

Hanzo followed the three sticking in the trees from being seen.

"I think we explored enough." Hanzo watched as the three checked for something only to groan in disappointment. "We are never going to get our cutie marks." Sweetie Belled said dramatically.

"I think you are becoming like sister." "I am not."

"You just did her sigh!"

"Well you one to talk who likes to hang out with Rainbow Dash!" The three stopped as they heard growling. Hanzo along with the ponies turned their heads to see wolves that were made out of wood. The three fillies stuttered then yelled and ran with Timberwolves right behind them. Hanzo simply followed after them. He watched the three evaded the Wolves. He saw one was about to grab one filly only for it to be picked by some purple aura and thrown into the other wolves.

"Sister!" Hanzo watched the three ran into six other ponies. One had her horn glowing with a purple aura while the yellow pony hid behind them with the fillies. The pink one seemed aloof. Hanzo watched as the orange pony growled. "How der you try to hurt fillies! Especially my sister!"

The wolves simply glowed and began to advance toward them. HAnzo watch, then reached into his pouch and pulled a smoke bomb and threw it at the wolves.

"What in the world?"

The ponies watched in confusion as smoke appeared and became even more confused as they heard the timberwolves whimpering.. When the smoke cleared they saw they were running.

"Twiligh....what just happened?" Twilight didn't speak as she was just confused.

"We can worry about that later!" Rainbow shouted with the ponies agreeing with her and they immediately began to leave. Hanzo stood on a tree branch staring at the ponies.

Hanzo woke when he felt the sun on his face and stood up as he looked around then looked in the direction of where the ponies went and proceeded to head that way staying in the tree branches as he jumped from branch to branch. He stopped as he looked to see what appeared to be a farm of some sorts. He stared checking to see if there was anything around and once he saw it was clear dropped down from the tree. He didn't wait though and sprinted to one of the trees and jumped into it.

Hanzo stayed there when he heard what appeared to be sounds of movement and watched as a stallion whose fur was red was coming this way. Hanzo watched him.

"You three stay out of trouble!"

Hanzo looked over and saw the same two ponies from the other day. He watched as the yellow pony ran off with the white and orange one. As they ran Hanzo began to follow them while staying hidden. He watched as they went into a treehouse. Hanzo ran and jumped on the top of it and crouched down so he could hear what they were saying.

"Any ideas for us to try?" Applebloom asked

"Well there is one I heard Spike said." Scootaloo spoke causing the two to look at her.

Hanzo watched as they grabbed what appeared to be rope and clips. Hanzo followed them and stopped when he saw they were attaching rope to a tree. "Now up there!" Scootaloo pointed up to a tree making the two fillies look up. "Up there?"

"Yeah. Let's start climbing!" The other two exchanged nervous glances but climbed after their friend. The three made it the top where they put their helmets on and began to clip themselves on the rope.

"Are sure about this Scootaloo? I never even heard of a pony zip lining before." Sweetie spoke while she and Applebloom were looking down at the ground nervously.

Scootaloo looked back with a smile. "Neither have I but Spike said it was awesome!" Hanzo watched as the one known as Scootaloo jumped dragging the other two with her. He watched as they went fast but saw the metal heating up. The three got stuck in the middle of the rope as the hot metal began to burn it.

"Any other ideas?" Sweetie asked as the three stared at the rope burning. "Just one." The rope snapped causing the three fillies to scream as they fell towards the ground. Hanzo jumped quickly and grabbed the three and sat them on the ground as they continued to scream with their eyes closed. Immediately after that, he jumped into the tree. Hanzo turned his attention back them.

The three screamed until they felt they hadn't collided with anything and opened their eyes to see they were on the ground. "Did you feel like something caught us?" The other two slowly nodded their head but they immediately snapped to their flanks and groaned when they didn't see anything. "Plan B?" Sweetie asked.

"Yeah. You know where we can find a cannon at this hour?" Scootaloo asked causing the two to look at her in fear. Scootaloo sighed and threw her helmet off.

"It's no use! No matter what we try, we always end up without our cutie marks. And for once not covered in tree sap."

"Maybe we should do something less dangerous, like pillow testing or flower sniffing." Sweetie suggested while Scootaloo just had a sad face. Applebloom was rubbing her chin with her hoof.

"This town is full of ponies who have their cutie marks. Why don't we ask them how they did it?" This caused Scootaloo to brighten up. "Yeah and we can start with the coolest pony in ponyville."

"Applejack/Rarity!"

"Come on, guys, I said "cool"! You know who I'm talking about. She's fast. She's tough. She's not afraid of anything!"

Sweetie and Applebloom looked at each and spokme at the same time. "Pinkie Pie."

Scootaloo face hooved. "That is probably true but no! Rainbow Dash!"

"Yeah!"

Hanzo watched as the three run off, looking for this Rainbow Dash. The three were on some sort of thing. He watched as three bunnies appeared in the road causing the three to stop and stare.

"Get back here, you thievin' varmints!" A voice shouted from the side causing the bunnies to run off.

"Thievin what now?" Applebloom asked. Applejack jumped out of a bush causing the three to scream as crashed into them. Applebloom was on the ground with Applebloom on her back.

"Applebloom?" The said filly looked at her sister cutie mark and smiled. "Hey Sis! How'd you get your cutie mark?"

"I never told you that story?"

"Hey! I thought we were going to ask Rainbow Dash."

"We need all the help we can get."

"Ugh. Fine." Applebloom smiled and stood next Scootaloo. Hanzo crouched in a tree branch as he listened.

"Well, I was just a little filly. Even littler than y'all. I didn't want to spend my life on a muddy old apple farm. I wanted to live the sophisticated life, like my Aunt n' Uncle Orange. So I set out to try my luck in the big city, Manehattan! The most cosmopolitan city in all of Equestria."

The three cutie mark crusaders listend as she explained more. "I never felt so homesick in all my days as I did right then. I then heard a explosion and saw A Rainbow.It was amazin'! A rainbow pointin' right back to... home. In that moment, it all became clear. I knew right then just who I was supposed to be. That's when this here appeared."

Applejack showed her cutie mark.  I've been happily workin in the farm ever since." There was raspberry being blown and they looked to the three rabbits. "There they are! Get back here, ya thievin' varmints!" Thye three fillies and Hanzo watched as she chased the rabbits.

"That was such a sweet story!"

"Sweet? Try sappy." Scootaloo gagged. She jumped onto her scooter as the other jumped in the wagon. "Come on! We've got to find Rainbow Dash and hear the cool way to get a cutie mark." The three rode off with Hanzo following behind them.

Hanzo watched again as they crashed again. He saw a yellow pony leading ducks.

"All right, little ones. This way. This way. You really should be more careful. Somepony could get hurt. Why are you in such a hurry anyway?" Fluttershy asked once the ducks had made it across.

Scootaloo answered. "We're trying to find Rainbow Dash, so we can hear how she earned her cutie mark."

"Oh, that would be interesting. You know, I wouldn't have gotten my cutie mark if it weren't for her."

"Rainbow Dash?! Really?!" Scootaloo asked excitedly.

Fluttershy nodded her head. "Oh yes. It all started at Summer flight camp."

The four listend as Fluttershy explained how she earned her cutie mark. "Somehow I had the ability to communicate with animals on a different level."

"Wait, wait, wait. What happened to Rainbow Dash? What about the race?" Scootaloo interrupted and asking.

Fluttershy stared at her. "I wasn't there so I don't really know what happened." Scootaloo and the two fillies jumped back on their vehicle.

"Come on, Crusaders. We've gotta find her. Besides, I can't take any more singing."

"Maybe my sister know where my sister is." Sweetie suggested. As they rode off they waved goodbye at Fluttershy. Once again Hanzo followed them and listened to another story from the white one and the cutie mark crusaders immediately left once it was finished.

The three just found themselves talking to Twilight. Hanzo didn't show it but he was a bit surprised at how something can move the sun.

The four were on the move again only to run into a pink pony. Well more like she was on the back of their wagon while Hanzo stared at her trying to figure how she got there. The four listend to her story which ended as they arrived at sugarcube corner.

"And that was how Equestria was made." Scootaloo stooped in front. "Wha...huh?"

The four watched as she walked inside. "Maybe on the way home I can tell you the story  of how I got my Cutie Mark. It's a gem!"  

Scootaloo eye twitched while Sweetie just assure her. " Oh, come on. She's just being Pinkie Pie."

Scootaloo shoulders fell. "Ugh." As she followed her friend inside. Hanzo who had been jumping from building to building landed on top the building they went into. Hanzo crouched and heard what appeared to be Rainbow. He began to hear her story. At the end he heard the ponies laughing.

"Come here, y'all." Hanzo being curious peeked into the window and saw the six ponies hugging. He just blinked as he pulled himself back up.

"Hanzo...don't just live in...silence....my friend." Hanzo shook his head as he stood up and jumped onto a building. He stood there and looked back at the building for a minute then turned and jumped to another, heading towards the forest.

Hanzo sat against on a tree branch with back leaning against the tree itself as he watched his surroundings. He couldn't get what his friend said out of his mind."Hanzo...don't just live in...silence....my friend." Hanzo shook his head.

" Oh my gosh! Sapphire Shores! The pony of pop! She is awesome! I mean, she's gorgeous and talented and-heh... and not even half the pony you are. I mean, you're ten times more gorgeous and talented and"

Rarity cut him off "Spike, a lady is never jealous."

Hanzo saw what appeared to be a lizard that was walking its two legs. "Eh, of course not. But were you totally flipping out or what?!"

Rarity threw her mane back as she spoke "Ladies do not "flip out", Spike. However, I was quite in awe. Oh, I need to find more jewels than ever before to decorate her costumes." As those words left her mouth her horn glowed. It pushed her towards a ground. "Aha!"

The lizard that Hanzo now know as Spike jumped next to her. "You found some?"

Rairt pointed with her fore hoof. "Yes Spike! Right there!" Hanzo watched as the lizard jumped and began to dig into the ground until he discovered gems. He watched as the lizard licked his lips only to be stopped by Rarity. The dragon mumbled sadly but didn't try to eat the gems again as he threw them into a wagon and pulled it following the Pony. Hanzo watched as they gathered more gems completely filling the wagon.

He watched as the dragon stared the gems licking his lips when the pony tapped him on the head. "You've been very patient today, Spike. And for that you get the finest reward." Rarity pulled out a gem that was blue and handed it to Spike. "This is from me to you." Hanzo watched as he grabbed it and looked at the pony. "Something wrong Spike?" He just shook his head.

Rarity went to say something when her horn glowed again. "Ooo, bring the cart, Spike. There are more over here."

The dragon stared at the gem then grabbed the cart and pulled it with him over to where Rarity was. Hanzo watched from a tree that was near.

"Well, Spike, I think that's all we can do for today. And these will certainly get me well on my way with Sapphire's outfits." Rairty spoke only for her and Spike to look over as a there was thud sound. Hanzo stared at what appeared to be a dog that stood 6"7. He had white fur and a scar going over his right eye.

Rarity let out a scream as it walked toward them as she and Spike backed up. "Good day, gentle... uh, fellow. Uh, I am Rarity and this is my friend Spike." Spike let out a nervous wave as it continue to walk toward them.

"And you are..."

"Scar. Alpha of the diamond dogs." Scar spoke with a gruff voice.

Rarity chuckled nervously. "Oh really? Oh well, that explains your fine taste in jewelry. I mean I-I-I know diamonds are a girl's best friend and now I know they're a dog's best friend too, ha ha ha. So, um, [cough] are you out hunting for gems as well?"

"Yes. We hunt." Rarity and Spike glanced at each other. "We?"

He didn't reply when instead two dogs bust out of the ground from behind them. Rarity turned and screamed and ducked as one tried to grab her. One of the dogs let out a whimper of pain as Spike bit on its tail. Scar growled and grabbed Spike by his neck choking him.

"Put him down you ruffian!" Scar stared at then smiled and spun throwing Spike causing his body to smack into a tree where he let out a groan of pain as he fell to the ground. "Spike!" Before she could react Scar grabbed her by the throat and began to squeeze her neck causing her to choke as kicked him.

"Alpha, you kill her." One dog spoke only to be backhanded and knocked to the ground. "Shut up." Scar walked over where his dogs popped out and jumped in followed by the other two.

Hanzo watched as the lizard let out a yell and ran, where he presumed the town was at. Hanzo waited until he was gone then walked over to one of the holes and looked down only to jump back as mud shot up. Hanzo went to step forward when he heard voices and jumped behind a wall of rockes. He peered around to see the other ponies, along with Spike.

Hanzo watched as they tried to do what he did only for the same result. He watched as the holes were filled. "Poor Rarity."

"It's not over yet!" Hanzo watched as they began to dig only to see the dogs popping up and stopping them. As he watched this continued until the ponies were lying on their backs puffing.

"I have a idea! I save you my sweet!" Spike pulled out his gem while the ponies looked at each other confused. "Huh?"

Hanzo watched as Spike had....a fishing pole with his gem tied to the end and lowered into a hole.

"Spike it's very noble of.." Spike cut her off with a shh.

Twilight whispered this time. "to sacrifice the gem Rarity gave you." Before Spike could comment he felt himself being pulled into the hole for Applejack to grab his tail with her mouth. "Hold on there, little fella." Applejack herself started to get pulled in. Hanzo watched while they all began to get pulled in while the pink one willingly jumped. Hanzo ran to the hole and jumped in himself. He watched as they went through diffenrent tunnels. He saw they fell through a hole. When he reached the end, Hanzo pulled out two kunai and stab into the wall and braced his feet against it.

"That could of gone worse." Twilight commented only for them all to gasp when they saw the dogs pointing spears at them. "How nice of you to join us." The ponies looked over to see Scar with. "Rarity!"

They went to move when the dog pulled out what appeared to be knife. "Ah-ah-ah." All their eyes widen when they see him put it under her chin. "Surrender....or she dies." The ponies put their heads down in submission. Scar simply chuckled. "Take them to their cells." The dogs walked up and began to force them through a tunnel. Hanzo watched and waited till there was no one around and dropped to the floor and followed the dogs.

"Umof!" The dogs simply tossed them into the cell and closed it, locking it. "Rarity!" The dragon and ponies pulled her into a hug.

Scar walked up to the cell and stared at the ponies. "I hope you enjoy your time. Now you work for me!"

"You won't get away with this! Princess.." Twilight was cut off as he laughed. "You act like I'm going to let you live."

"W...what?" Scar simply smiled showing his teeth. "I only need the white one."

The ponies glared at him with anger. Scar turned and began to walk off. "Your six watch them." The dogs nodded their heads as he walked through another tunnel.

"Twilight." The ponies didn't say anything. Hanzo peered around the corner and saw the ponies in the cell. Hanzo grabbed his sword handle and began to pull it out.

"Anypony have any ideas?" Applejack asked. Before they could say anything, they heard followed by short yells and more thuds. "What in tarnation is going on?"

"Is somepony there? We need help!" There was no answer but instead a key slid into the cell that Spike picked up. He walked towards the cell and opened it. They slowly walked out only to gasp.

"They.....dead." Rarity stuttered. The ponies were staring at the bodies of the guard who had cuts over their bodies. Blood was pouring out of them. "We need to go." Twilight spoke causing them to nod their heads. They began to run through a tunnel unaware of Hanzo in front of them cutting down guards.

"Somepony or something is looking out for us." Spike commented as they kept seeing more bodies. "I don't care! I just want out of here!" Fluttershy shouted. The ponies rounded a corner and saw daylight. "There's the exit!" As they ran out they let out cheers. "Oh sun, I will never take advantage of you again!" Spike commented causing the girls to laugh.

"You escaped." They all looked to the tunnel to see Scar walking out holding a sword. "I never figured ponies had guts to kill."

"We didn't do it!" Scar just scoffed. "It doesn't matter who did. If they fell they were weak. Besides, I just go get more." He spoke dismissively not even bothered.

"You don't care?!" Rainbow shouted.

"No." Scar raised his sword with his hand. The ponies got into stances causing him to laugh. "Please. If you couldn't kill those guards, can you kill me?" He asked causing them to step back. "Exactly. That is why ponies are weak!"

"We might not kill you but we buck into next week!" Applejack shouted.

"And I will just come back." The ponies watched as he took a step. The ponies and Spike eyes widened at what happened  next.  A knife flew through the air and impaled Scar back with the blade sticking out of his chest.

Everypony looked to see a chain led back into the tunnel. Everypony watched as he was pulled into the shadows by the chain. They stood there waiting for what seemed forever until they slowly walked over while being cautious. "What just happened?" Spike asked but didn't get a answer. They saw Scar who was laying on his side, with his neck slashed and a hole in his chest.

"Twilight?"

Twilight turned and looked at them. "I think....something......has been watching us."

In the shadows Hanzo stared at them as he sheathed his sword until there was a click.

The Mane Six were in Twilight library a hour after what they just saw. None of them couldn't get their minds off it. Especially, when they remembered Scar being impaled and pulled into the shadows where they found him dead.

"Ok...so something is following us." Spike spoke trying to end the silence.

"Why has it been following us though?" Applejack asked.

"That I don't know, but it must of also been behind the smoke in the forest." Twilight explained.

"Yer know, my sister and her friends said they went line zipping." Applejack stated only for eveypony to cover their ears as Rarity yelled. "THEY DID WHAT?!"

"The said, they got it from Spike." Everypony looked at the dragon who was shaking his hands. "Don't blame me!"

"This is getting crazy! Let's just go find the thing!" Rainbow shouted

"Sugarcube, it has been watching us and remain hidden. I don't it's going to be found unless it wants to."

"So we have to let this thing....stalk us?!" Rarity cried out.

"Maybe it's nice?" Fluttershy whispered. "After seeing what it can do, I don't know"

"Where is Pinkie?" The ponies looked to see Pinkie, who was staring out the window with a neutral face and not her usual smile. "Pinks?" Rainbow asked. The ponies watched only to jump back as she sneezed. "Bless me!" Everpony sighed.

"That means I need to throw a party since there's new pony." They just ignored her as she continued to babble on. "Twilight, did you send a letter to the princess?" Twilight shook her head. "I don't want o send anything until I know what we are dealing with."

"You sure that's ok darling?" Rainbow scoffed. "Come on! We handled Nightmare Moon! We can take anything, plus I'm here!" Rainbow boasted. "Thing hides sugarcube. Least Nightmare confronted us directly." They all flinched except Pinkie as they head a thud on the roof.

"It's not escaping!" Before anypony could stop her, see flew out the window with the ponies running out the door and stared up only t see Derpy had crashed into the library.

Derpy shook her head ad flew into the air. "Sorry Twlight!" Then flew off. The girls sighed only to flinch again from a bush. Applejack jumped into, only causing a mouse to run off.

"I think we are being paranoid." Twilight stated. "What if it is here watching us now?" Spike joked but stopped. They all stared at each other then huddled together as they scurried into the library watching every corner. "This is getting ridicules!" Rainbow shouted.

The girl's watched as the sun began to lower. "Maybe a goodnight rest will help?" Twilight suggested. The ponies left though each of them looked at everything with cautious eyes.

Twilight and Spike went into their beds and layed down. They both jumped when they heard a small squeak. Spike jumped into Twilight bed. "Twi can I sleep with you just for tonight?" Her answer was to pull him in with her fore hoofs. The two tried to sleep but couldn't. On top of the library was Hanzo was listening to them, stood up and gave one look to the moon, then made his way back to the forest.

The next day, Spike and Twilight sat by the table with both have dark bags around their eyes. Twilight, mane was a mess. The two lumped when they heard a knock on the door. Twilight stood up and walked over to the door, opening it to show her friends who looked just as bad as she did.

She didn't say anything but instead stepped aside, letting them walk in. "Twilight we need to find this thing!" Applejack shouted.

Twilight rubbed her chin then looked up with determination. "Girl's. We are on a scavenge hunt."

Hanzo watched a pack of timberwolves from a tree. He watched them playing with their young and the mother or father would nuzzle it's young. Hanzo stared for a few minutes then turned in the direction of the town and began to jump toward there.

The girl's walked into the forest. "Twilight, how do we plan to find this thing?"

"We don't." This caused the other ponies to look at each other. "Huh?"

"If this thing has been following us...." Twilight trailed off. "It will come to us." Twilight nodded her head yes.

"Sugarcube, it remains hidden. Even if we let it come to us, how do we know." Applejack causing Twilight to smile sheepishly. "I haven't thought about that. However, we need to pay attention to everything, even the smallest detail."

"Like this!" Rainbow shouted as she flew into a tree but only managed to scare away birds. In the tree was Hanzo, crouched as he watched the ponies.

"Without scaring the wild life." Twilight deadpanned while Rainbow came out of the tree and was pulling leaves off her.

Hanzo watched as these searched the bushes and trees. When he felt they were getting to close he would, change his hiding spot. He watched as the nervous would play with the animals.

"Hey look guess what I am!" Hanzo looked to see the pink one covered in sticks and leafs, making her look like a timberwolf.

"A timberwolf?" Twilight said. "Nope! A leafy stick Pinkie!" Hanzo cocked his head to the side as the ponies laughed at her.

A memory came to Hanzo. "Hey Hanzo, guess what I am!" Hanzo stared at Ryu, who was wearing what appeared to be a cloak. "A ninja cloak!" Ryu yelled as he laughed while Hanzo just stared at him. He shook his head, and stared back down at the ponies. W

ho continued to search. Hanzo jumped into another tree.

"Twilight, we are not having much luck." Twilight sighed as she checked another bush but didn't find anything. "We probably should of call it girl's." As she looked up to see Luna moon was out.

Before any pony said anything, there was a growl causing eveypony to look and see ten timberwolves growling. "Run for it!" Pinkie shouted. The ponies began to run, while Hanzo just followed them. He watched as they ran only to stop and turn to look at, the timberwolves, who were now whimpering. The ponies watched in confusion as they ran off.

That was when the smell hit their noses causing Twilight eyes to widen. "We're not at the boggy creek!" The ponies turned, to see a hydra come up out of from some trees. The four heads licked their mouths, and lunged down at them. The ponies let out screams of fright as they ran. The mouths slammed into the ground, picking up mud. The heads spit out the mud, and roared.

Hanzo watched as this.....thing chased the ponies toward what appeared to be a cliff. They stopped at a the end. "This is just  like the other time!" Pinkie shouted excitedly. "Yea. Though we have no where to go!" Twilight shouted as they saw the hydra approaching. The ponies backed to the edge. Rainbow looked backwards and saw the other side. "I have a idea!" Rainbow shouted as grabbed Pinkie. "Wee!" Rainbow flew with to the other side and sat her down.

"Fluttershy, I need you help!" Fluttershy shook her head. "Fluttershy, grab Applejack.." Only to be cut off by Applejack. "Take Twilight!" This caused the girls to look at her. "Ah be fine!" Fluttershy looked at Rainbow who nodded her head. The two ponies grabbed Rarity and Twilight, and flew with them.

Applejack watched as the hydra stepped closer, only to look down as the ledge she was standing on breaking. "Not good." She spoke as the hydra stepped causing the ledge to break and her to fall.

Hanzo watched as the orange pony stared at the hydra. He watched as the ledge began to break. Hanzo grabbed his Shéng biāo and jumped down and sprinted towards the pony. He watched as the hydra stepped, breaking the ledge and the pony fall. Hanzo jumped over the ledge, down towards the pony.

Applejack closed her eyes as she fell, only to feel something grab her. Applejack didn't open her eyes but instead clutched onto who she thought was Rainbow. Hanzo grabbed the pony. Once he did, he spun and threw his Shéng biāo embedding it into a tree on the other side. Hanzo was able use the force of the swing to land on the side where he upon landing, dropped Applejack, and jumped into a tree as he retrieved his Shéng biāo.

Hanzo climbed to the top of the tree where he crouched, as he stared down.

The ponies watched in horror as the ledge broke. "Applejack!"

"Over there!" The ponies looked and saw Applejack who appeared to be flying. "Let's go!" They immediately ran and saw Applejack who was looking around confused. "Applejack!" She turned only to be tackled by Pinkie who hugged her tightly.

"Pinkie....can't breathe. "Applejack choked out causing her to be released.

"Darling, are you ok?"

"I'm fine, though I'm guessing you all weren't the ones who save me." They shook their head.

"AH! Why can't we find this thing!" Twilight shouted. Pinkie giggled causing the ponies to look at her.

"He's right there silly!" Pinkie spoke as she pointed up at a tree. They looked to see where she was pointing and their mouths opened in shock.

They saw Hanzo crouched on a tree, staring down at them. The ponies just stared at him. Hanzo watched them before standing up and falling backwards, disappearing into the shadows. The ponies watched as it disappeared.

"Well.......we found it." Was all that Applejack said, as they continued to look where it had been.

The ponies had made it back to the tree house. Almost immediately, Twilight woke Spike, to have him send a letter to Princess Celestia. The ponies were actually waiting for her right now. "What do you think the princess is going to do?"

"Probably banish the thing."

"Rainbow!" The said pony, just raised her hooves.

"I want to know where the thing came from?" Applejack asked.

"Oh Oh. Maybe it came from the shadows! Or was like." The ponies mouths dropped open in shock when they saw Pinkie wearing a some sort of costume that made her look like a ninja, with glowing eyes. "Get over here!" The ponies shook their heads, to see her without the outfit.

"I blame Discord!" Rainbow shouted.

"Rainbow, he's reformed remember?" Twilight asked.

"Yes, and he's good." Fluttershy spoke. "Most of the time."

"Well, let's hope the Princess knows what to do."

"I wonder where the cutie mark crusaders are?" Pinkie asked randomly, causing everypony to look at her.

"You sure, we should go doing this again?" Sweetie asked.

The three fillies were trying to zip line again, only they were doing it higher this time. "I'm sure, it work this time!" Scootaloo shouted excitedly, while the other two looked nervously. "I have a bad feeling about this." Applebloom spoke, while Scootallo jumped pulling the other two, with her.

The three screamed as they gained speed. "I change my mind!" Scootaloo shouted as they headed towards a tree, smacking it, causing them to fall as the ropes broke. The three yelled, as they fell and slammed into the ground. The three were tangled together. "Did we get our them?" Scootaloo picked her head up, only to slam it back down groaning. "No."

The three saw shadows covering them. The three looked up to see diamond dog. "Take them." The three watched with wide eyes as the dog's reached down towards them. "HELP!"

"Applebloom/Sweetie Belle/ Scootaloo!" The ponies were shouting as they looked for the three. "You don't think that thing got them, do you?" Rarirty asked with worry.

"I doubt that thing, would come during daytime." Applejack said.

"Says the one, who was being hold by it." Rainbow taunted, causing Applejack to blush. "Shut yer mouth!"

"Girls, this is not the time!" Twilight shouted causing them to stare at her.

"Yea, besides! Look at all this rope!" Pinkie shouted, with rope wrapped around her.

"Where did ya get that from?"

"Over there." Pinkie pointed, as she continued to wrap it around herself.

The ponies saw, three helmets. Rainbow flew over picking one up. "This Scoots."

"Were they at then?" Rarity asked. Twilight stared at the scene with narrowed eyes. "That does it! I am going to find that thing, and kick it's flank!" Rainbow yelled as she landed. "I'm going to help you!" Applejack shouted.

"mmmmdph." Pinkie shouted, wrapped in ropes. "Darling, how on equestria do  you do this?" Before anypony moved there was a loud movement. The girl's looked to see a diamond dog head sticking out of the ground. The girls jumped into stance's, including Pinkie who was free. Fluttershy stood behind the group.

"What do you want?"

The dog growled. "Bring us, the thing that stalks."

"Oh yea. What if we don't?" Rainbow asked, causing the dog to pull out a pink bow, and tossed it to them.

"That's ma sister's bow!" Applejack yelled as she jumped at the dog, who simply ducked into the hole, causing her to go over. The dog appeared twenty yards away from the group. "Bring us it, by where white pony got gems. Otherwise, we kill them!"

The girl's eyes widen. "You can't! They are just children!"

"Yer lay one hoof, or whatever you call that, I will.." The dog cut her off with a snarl.

"You do what? Nothing! Ponies have one hour!" Before anypony could say anything, the dog jumped back into it's hole.

"Come on! We don't have much time!" Twilight shouted.

Hanzo sat in a tree staring at Timberwolve's. He watched as the young pups were growling, attacking one another playfully. The mother and father sat off to the side watching. He watched as the two parent's nuzzled each other. The two pups quickly ran over, attacking their parent's. The parent's gave looks that said 'Really?' They simply grabbed them, pulling them to the ground. They nuzzled them.

Hanzo, who had enough watching stood up and began jumping from tree to tree. "Mister thing!" Hanzo stopped in one, staring in the direction of the voice. "We need you help!" Hanzo headed in the direction, and landed in one tree to stare down at the six.

"Please we need your help!" Applejack shouted.

"Come out, or I will kick your flank!"

"Dash, we need it's help!" Twilight shouted.

"Um..please come out. We won't hurt you." Hanzo still didn't move from his spot. Hanzo saw they were in distress. He even saw the Pinkie mane that was usually puffy, was deflated.

"Please! The diamond dog's took our sister's!" Hanzo watched as they continued to beg for him to come out.

"Please."

"We better go."

"NO!" Applejack shouted, and ran towards a tree kicking it. Luckly, Hanzo was in another tree, or he might have fell out. "You saved ma life! You saved My sister and her friend's life! Why won't you help again?!" Hanzo watched as the proud pony had tears pulling out of her eyes. "Please....she's my sister." Applejack felt two hooves on her shoulder's and turned looking see Rainbow, and Rairty, with tears in their eyes.

Hanzo watched as , the rest of them walk forward. He watched as Twilight open her mouth and sing, with the others joning in.

The girl's stare at each other, before turning to walk away. Before they took two steps, Hanzo jumped from a tree landed crouched down, causing them to back up. Hanzo stood up staring at them, before beckoning with his head, causing the the ponies to smile.

The Cutie Mark Crusader's were tied together, with the dogs surrounding them. There was twenty of them.

"Let us go!" Scootaloo shouted.

"Shut it!"

"Our sister's won't let you get away with this." One dog growled, and turned to what was the alpha. "Can't we just kill them?" The dog looked at them, then smiled cruelly. "Sure. It be fun to see the ponies, who helped that thing kill my brother scream in agony at seeing them dead."

The three fillies eye's widen with fear, as two dogs stepped forward with sword's. "Please let us go!"

The dog's didn't listen, but instead raised their weapons. "APPLEBLOOM/SWEETIE BELLE/SCOOTS!"

Everyone looked over to see the six, ponies, along with a thing that stood on two legs. "SISTER/RAINBOW DASH!" The leader smiled. "Good, you brought it with you. NOW YOU CAN ALL DIE!" The two dog's swung their weapons, but stopped grunting in pain, as two kunai embedded into their neck, causing them to choke on their, as they fell over dead.

The dog's watched Hanzo threw the knifes. They aslo watched as he rushed towards them, drawing his sword out, while the six ran over to  the the fillies. "KILL IT!" The rest of the dogs rushed at Hanzo, except for the leader who watched. As Hanzo rushed, he ducked to the side bringing his sword up, slicing through one dog neck, then spun slicing another one.

The ponies watched as he went through them, like butter. Hanzo would parry or dodge, to slash down another dog. Hanzo stared at the last one, who was backing up in fear. The leader was growling at Hanzo. The other dog stepped back, only to gasp in pain, as a sword wis stabbed through his back, by the leader who muttered. "Coward." Then walked, pulling his sword out.

"That backstabbing.." Rainbow growled out, while hugging Scootaloo.

The lead dog rushed at Hanzo, swinging his weapon, which Hanzo blocked, then swung back. The two traded blows for awhile. Hanzo swung missing, letting the dog to swing at his back, which Hanzo blocked by brining his sword across his back. When he deflected it, he grabbed his sword in a reverse grip, swinging it. There was a slice, followed by a scream. The dog left paw fell to the ground, clutching it.

Hanzo sheathed his sword, staring at the dog who whimpered. "Please don't kill me!" The dog backed away in fear. Hanzo stared at him, then turned and began to walk away. The dog smiled, then pulled out a dagger.

"Watch out!" Hanzo turned and threw his Shéng biāo impaling the dog arm. The ponies eyes widen in fear at what happened next. They quickly turned the fillies around, so they wouldn't see it.

Hanzo stared down at body and turned, only to be grabbed into a hug, by the three fillies. Hanzo stared down at them. "Thanks for saving us."

Yay! Group Hug!" Pinkie shouted as she pulled them into a hug. Hanzo stared at them, before shrugging them off, and threw a smoke bomb to the ground, causing all the ponies to cough.

"Why did he do that?"

When the smoke cleared, they saw he was gone. "Why does he hide?"

"I don't know but...." Twilight smiled. "I think we can bring him, out of that." Twilight spoke causing, the ponies to smile.

"We will to!"

"Maybe we, can get our Cutie marks for being....Friend Cutie Mark Crusaders!" The ponies laughed. Twilight looked out of the corner of her eye, to see Hanzo, staring at her before jumping into a tree. Twilight just smiled again.

"Twilight?" She turned to see her friend looking at her. "I'm fine girl's. Just thought I saw something."

"Was it him again?' Scootaloo asked excitedly. Twilight chuckled. "You could say.....I saw a shadow."
