"Hi AJ." said Pinkie when Applejack came to Sugarcube Corner.
"Howdy, Pinkie." greeted Applejack.
"Twi, 'Shy and Rares are coming soon too." said pink earth pony, while she tried to pack two cakes to same box.
"But what about Dash?"
"On weather duty today. They had planned biggest storm in years. Even those Pegasus ponies who aren't in Weather Team had to be there. Well except Fluttershy, she's afraid even from her shadow, so there's no help from her." explained Pinkie
Applejack tried to hold her feelings. All her friends(Mane6) knew about her feelings to Rainbow, except Rainbow herself. She have wanted to tell Rainbow about her feelings long ago, but didn't knew how. And if Rainbow didn't came, she was kinda sad, even if she didn't showed that.
"Aw, don't worry Applejack. You can see her tomorrow, even today if she isn't horribly tired after making that storm." said Pinkie.
"Ya can read minds now?" chuckled orange earth pony
"I don't know. Maybe." smiled Pinkie.
They ate cupcakes and talked until others came, without Rainbow Dash.
"Hi, Pinkie. Hi Applejack." said Twilight.
"Howdy!"
They ate few cupcakes and then Rarity asked from Applejack.
"So when are you gonna confess to Rainbow?"
Applejack blushed little bit.
"Ah have thought about tomorrow. But there's only one problem...Ah don't know how." Country mare said quietly.
"What about you just say that to her." Pinkie suggested.
"Ah don't know. If Ah just go to her, saying that Ah love her. Ah might scare her a bit." Applejack said worridly.
Then Twilight's head jumped up. She had been thinking hardly for few minutes.
"What if you say to her, that you need advice, that you don't know how to ask somepony out. Don't say that is her. If you're lucky she says how she would like to be asked out. If she says then use it after she has given you advice. And if she doesn't, use that what she said." Twilight suggested, Proud of her suggestion.
"Twilight ya'll are genius. I'm gonna use it. Tomorrow." Applejack suddenly was very happy.
"Glad to help."
Confession
Applejack trotted around Ponyville looking for Rainbow dash. She wanted to confess. She was totally scared but exited at the same time. She didn't knew how rainbow haired tomboy would react.
What if she don't love me back? What if our friendship will be ruined? Applejack, stop thinking negatively. She might have feeling towards me too.
In 10 minutes she had found what she was looking for. Rainbow was on hill's top, trying to make fog cloud enough light to put it raise upper.
"Rainbow Dash!" Applejack called.
Rainbow looked around for few moments and then realized that pony she looked, was downhill.
"Oh, Hiya Applejack. Didn't saw ya coming." Rainbow smiled.
Applejack came uphill and said:
"I need your advice."
"Uh...Okay. With what?" Rainbow asked confusedly.
Applejack took a deep breath.
"Thing is...I like somepony, but I don't know how to say it to her. And I thought you could help." Applejack said trying to remain calm.
"I caught that's a mare, so it makes that easier. If it would be me-"
Applejack's heart worked so fast for that sentiment. She is going to say it.
"-I would like to, that someone, who I know of course, will come to me and say "Will you be my special somepony?"-" When Rainbow said it she seemed so much hoping that.
"-But enough of me. That's not me.-"
Then you will have a big surprise.
"-I think most certain way is to write a letter, where you express your feelings for her. When she accepts you, good. If not, she's not worth you." Rainbow finished.
"Thanks for help." Applejack thanked.
"No problem. Glad to help." Rainbow said and started to do her thing again.
Then Applejack said again:
"Rainbow?"
"Huh?"
"Will you be my special somepony?"
Rainbow stood like she had been petrified. Once she could move again she said quietly:
"That was me. That's why you asked advice from me."
"Yeah, I almost backed up, before I started telling you. But still, will you be my ssp?" Applejack asked again.
"Of course I will. It's hard to say no to your long-time crush." Rainbow grinned.
"I were your long-time crush?"
"Yep. From the first time I laid eyes on you."
"Same story with me."
They came in for an hug and stayed for in that state about 5 minutes. When they went apart Rainbow asked:
"What now?"
"I think we should tell others. They were the ones, who knew about my feelings towards you."
"Weird, they knew my secret too."
Applejack and Dash stared each other with surprised looks. Then both started laughing.
"It must have been hard to keep both secrets." Rainbow chuckled.
"Yeah."
Rainbow and Applejack walked through Ponyville, looking for others. They had spotted Pinkie's mane for once, but that disappeared as quickly as it was appeared. But after 10 minutes search they found them front of Twilight's castle. Rarity spotted them and waved. Marefriends trotted to them.
"I see that went well for you two." Twilight said.
"Sure it did." Applejack replied.
"What are you going to do now?" Fluttershy asked.
"We don't know, actually."
"Aw, don't worry. Relationship beginnings are always the hardest. I know, I have been there." Pinkie said.
"You have?" Rainbow asked
"Yeah, back in school, I had one relationship. But lasted only a year. But yeah beginning was the hardest. Nopony knows what to do next, but it gets easier when you get closer. Then everything you do feels right." Pinkie finished her monolog.
I have to keep that in mind Rainbow thought
