Alex grabbed .44 Scratch and Electric Fury.

Spinning them in a flourish, he cocked both revolvers and fired them, Beta lurched back in time to avoid the bullets.

Alex saw Sigma leaping high behind Beta, bracing himself for a death blow, only to find that Sigma attacked Beta and had him in a blade lock.

As soon as Sigma tried to attack Beta with a free blade, Beta punched Sigma and grasped her by the wrist.

"You are in no condition to fight me, I'll deal with you after the boy." Beta glared at Sigma before tossing her aside.

Alex fired both revolvers at Beta again, aiming for anything that looked like a weak spot, until Beta swung his Zweihander and knocked him backwards.

"Is that really all you've got, Huntsman?" Beta sneered.

"Try me!" Alex roared, aiming a swinging kick towards Beta's helmet. Beta merely blocked the kick and punched him hard.

"FIIIIIIRE RAAAAAAAAIN!!!!" Beta yelled, summoning a bright orange disc similar to Weiss's glyphs.

Streams of flame soared from above, Alex sprinted over and skidded into the comms tower to avoid the flames before leaping off the side towards Beta.

Beta lurched back in time to evade Alex's attack, leaving him skidding to a halt on the ground.

"What kind of Semblance was that?!" Alex asked, baffled.

"Are you that ignorant? Hasn't Ms. Anderson told you anything?" Beta scoffed.

"What does she have to do with any of this?" Red lightning crackled at Alex's fingertips.

Beta swung his sword again, he was fast for an armor wearing pyromaniac with a broadsword.

Alex kicked and shot whenever he had the opportunity, trying not to let his lightning out, for it would compromise his rocket systems.

Beta swung his sword, catching Alex right in the chest and knocking him aside and leaving him hanging from the safety net above the ocean.

"Pathetic. I thought this would have been a challenge." Beta shook his head slowly.

"What...are you?!" Alex asked.

"If you must know, there is more to Ms. Anderson's stay in Fiore. Pitiful that she does not trust you enough to tell you."

"He's mine!" Sigma yelled from across the boat, attacking Beta with a flurry of arrows and swords.

Sigma was fast, but Alex assumed her injuries would end up getting her killed, hopefully.

Alex pulled himself up and snuck behind some crates, he readied the rocket launchers hidden inside the shoulders and chest, and pulled down the rockets on his shoulders, after this, he could be able to unleash the full barrage at Beta and give him the opportunity to attack Beta with his lightning without compromising any more of his systems.

He looked at the two fighting inquisitors and aimed every rocket he could at both of them. Unfortunately, Sigma saw him and flipped backwards.

"YAHTZEE!!" He yelled, firing every last rocket in his inventory, enveloping the area they were standing with thick smoke.

"Is he dead?" Sigma asked.

The vague sound of a sword swinging behind him told him that Beta wasn't as dead as Alex would've liked.

Alex blocked with both barrels of his guns and kicked hard at his knee.

Beta didn't seem to care and kicked him much further away than even Alex was able to.

"FIIIIIRE LAAAAAANCE!!!!" Beta yelled, spears of flame flying over and threatening to burn his flesh.

Alex raised both hands until branches of lightning crackled from his fingertips and blew up the flaming death branches.

"Interesting. You use lightning magic without naming the spells." Beta nodded.

"I'll take my Semblance over your magic any day." Alex smiled.

Beta swung his weapon at Alex, knocking him down, Alex took the time to convert Electric Fury to it's rail gun form, and shot all six at Beta's chest.

Beta shrugged them off, and his weapon glowed bright orange before it revealed a steel-colored pair of short swords.

Alex converted his rail gun to it's sword and attacked, swinging at the parts that seemed most vulnerable.

Beta kicked him to the ground, and before Beta could deliver a death blow, a strange blue light enveloped him, rendering him somehow unable to move.

Sigma leaped, slashing at him with both swords while she had the advantage and quickly evading Beta's strikes.

"Doesn't your weapon have another function?" Sigma asked.

"That depends, are you going to try and kill me afterward?!" Alex yelled back. He should kill her once Beta is out of commission, then Sigma would be easy pickings afterwards.

"Use it!" Sigma yelled back.

Alex did as Sigma told, both ends of the blade spinning fast as they could, and Alex struck.

The attack proved useless, it was a hologram or an afterimage?!

Beta held Sigma by the leg and threw her at him, Alex threw her away and threw lightning balls at him, to no effect.

Beta then punched him in the throat, throwing him aside and coughing.

"Your 'Semblance' did not defeat me." Beta stated.

Alex coughed.

"It wasn't supposed to." He gagged.

The distant sound of a helicopter was heard, and a barrage of 105mm shells ripped through the air, blowing up in Beta's face.

This went on until Alex could no longer see wether Sigma or Beta were even there anymore.

The Cargobob Lui was piloting dropped a tank in the smoke, and Delirious climbed out, waving frantically.

"That was epic as shit!" Delirious cheered.

The helicopter landed nearby, the smoke swirling away as Lui stepped out of the Helicopter.

"Yeah! We did it!" Lui smirked, joining Delirious.

"Well. Mission accomplished." Alex sat down.

"I thought you said the EMP was destroyed!" Delirious was clearly confused.

"I'll explain after we get to shore." Alex promised.

Alex looked to the right to see Sigma looking over the ocean.

She looked him right in the eye.

"I'll get my chance to kill you later. For now, at least, don't watch your back." She glared.

"I get it, you megalomaniacal prick! You have 5 seconds before we start shooting!" Alex yelled.

Sigma rolled her eyes and leaped off the side of the boat.

"Alright. Let's go home." Alex said, getting inside the co-pilot's seat.

Lui stepped into the pilot's seat and Delirious got in the tank, before Alex knew it, they were on the return trip.

----

"Alpha, sir!" Gamma yelled.

"What is it?" Alpha asked.

"Beta has fallen at the hands of the boy, and Sigma escaped." Gamma said.

"Right, escaped." Sigma scoffed.

Alpha merely glared in her direction.

"I'll deal with you later, but for now.." Alpha dismissively turned away from Sigma, and towards his other subordinate.

"I can't even rely on you to kill one pathetic kid!" Alpha yelled, picking him up and punching him square in the jaw.

"Don't pin this on me! It was Sigma who stabbed you in the back!" Gamma choked.

"Sigma here was hand-selected by one of our highest donors. Besides, she is too valuable to our cause for me to simply cast her aside... for now." Alpha defended.

"It's not his fault, either." A voice sounded behind Gamma.

Gamma saw a man in a military uniform, bearing a cracked gas mask and the remains of a flamethrower.

"Beta. You haven't died like Gamma had assumed.." Alpha concluded.

Sigma didn't say anything, but looked quite dissatisfied with her failure.

"Walker and his allies are more skilled than even I expected. Mr. Fong put my best man out of commission, at least for a while. However, the EMP was destroyed in the battle."

"That is not the case." Alpha corrected.

"What?!" Gamma asked, baffled.

"Instead of it being destroyed in the Hydra jet, the boy hid it." Alpha explained.

"Clever bastard." Gamma concluded.

"So, what now?" Beta asked.

"We have no choice, we have to get The Red Star assembled as soon as possible, and see to it that Walker, Fong, Sparkle, Anderson, and Rose do know know what we are doing here." Alpha stated.

"They will not, I can promise you that." A mysterious voice said from their right.

"Zodiac. I did not expect to see you here." Beta noted.

"They won't know what's happening here until it's too late." Zodiac assured.

"And why is that?" Gamma asked.

"Because I'm working with them."

Author's Notes:

If any of you are wondering, this is the only point in the story where Sigma and Alex work together, they're still bitter enemies.

What are your opinions in the story now that it's gotten to the point where I have to add another Act just because it's that long. It could be a complicated question, or a very simple one. Feel free to add constructive criticism of any kind.
