“Ok what happen?” Sunset ask who had entered the room just as the Wayne’s killed their son.

“In that world the Wayne’s were brought back to life and are completely disgusted with their son. Seeing how instead of dealing with their deaths in a healthy way became Batman, instead of actually dealing with the causes of crime,” Naruto said.

“They pointed out that he could had made Gotham safe but instead kept it as a wretched hive of crime and villainy so he can continue to be Batman. As it’s not about fighting crime it’s about control and keeping himself distracted from his own personal issues. He’s just a man child who rather beat up people than do something that actually solves the crime problem,” Kasumi adds. (1)

“And them killing him?” Sunset ask.

“Turns out he’s been keeping the villains alive just so he can fight them and no matter what happens to the people of Gotham cares more about them then the people he should be protecting,” Naruto said.

“Oh,” Sunset said. “Another Batman who rather save the villains than save the people. Good he’s dead and Gotham can actually get better now that he’s gone.”

“Yup the Wayne’s are using the money and technology their son wasted on an all for nothing war on crime to improve the city. Opening new businesses and affordable housing to get actual changes to happen,” Kasumi said.

“Not to mention that most Batman’s can never trust anyone. Which is a horrible mindset when you need to work with others,” Sunset said.

“Which bites them at the worst times. Remember that one world where all life was wipe out because the computer wouldn’t unlock for anyone but for Batman, which he was nowhere close and the Robin couldn’t activate the computer because of that dumb lock,” Naruto remarks.

“Remember how my counterpart literally lifted up Gotham city up into the air and drop it, because of that worlds Batman preventing her from killing, Joker and making it impossible for her to get to him. With her coming back with an army conquering Earth and in front of Batman killed Joker and telling Batman that if he had just let her kill Joker, all the deaths that happen wouldn’t had happen and asked if saving the life of the Joker was worth it?” Sunset asked.

“Yup and with his identity revealed, he was executed after your counterpart left leaving that Earth in ruins,” Kasumi said.

“And made worst because that Batman had to tell the truth that for him it was worth it as he values the life of Joker more than the lives he has taken. Plus that he has no other reason in why Joker life is worth all the death and destruction caused just so that Joker be executed by Sunset, besides he needs Joker to keep himself distracted from the personal demons of his own making,” Naruto said.

“So many Batman’s when they finally have to give up being Batman and not dying, always end up sad old broken men who have nothing but their personal demons that no longer have any distractions to keep them at bay. The only ones who manage to avoid that are the ones who aren’t the last living family members of their line,” Kasumi said.

“Which is rare, as that’s more for the golden age Batman than the other ages. Plus I like the Adam West, Batman more as he’s more well balance then the later Batman’s,” Sunset said. (2)

“Plus he has so many sprays,” Naruto said holding a ‘Bat-Anti Ninja’ spray can.

“I still say it’s nothing but pepper spray that he changed the label on,” Kasumi huffed.

“That Batman is silly but you really shouldn’t had thought he be easy,” Naruto said.

“Tell me about it, he even had anti-magic underwear that makes him immune to magic,” Sunset said as she couldn’t believe Batman had that.

“He’s prepared for anything,” Naruto pointed out causing the two women to grumble.

1 - In many stories, the reason why Batman doesn’t actually solves the crime problem that would actually works like it would, in real life is because he needs to be able to go out and beat up people as it’s the only thing that keeps him sane. Or actually have to deal with his issues that he’s been putting aside for years.

And the real life reason of if he did then the Batman comics would really have to work in why Batman is still Batman.
