In his plane James Stillwell looks at the files in front of him about the companies biggest money maker. He’s on his way to Herogasm where the other marketable teams are all meeting up, which The Alicorn isn’t attending. The Alicorn had been offered to join The Seven but she refused and any other offers to join any other teams. She told him that she found the other heroes to be disgusting. But it was what she said next haunted him.

‘The superheroes are just products to you and the company, just a means to make money. But as far as I can see, you have nothing but a bad product on your hands. All it would take would be exposing them for what they are and they will never be profitable again.’

Sunset Shimmer is just a mystery, she has no compound V in her but she has powers and her skin is orange. The lab is trying to figure out how it's possible for her to have telekinesis without any compound in her, Ms Shimmer herself has been quite on where and who she is. The only thing she has revealed is that she is really a magical unicorn from a magical land who came out from the base of a statue that links to a magic mirror in her world. Where she is the daughter of the ruler of Equestria and is the crown princess of the kingdom. That story is what she's sticking too and refused to change it.

From what he has read on her the times they met face to face, she is vastly different from the other superheroes. She is very intelligent, highly educated, and has the political knowledge to run rings around any politician. She also knows how read contracts and is an expert in negotiating contracts, which she did with the best legal teams that the company had to throw at her.

The reason why the company has to put up with her, is that The Alicorn is Vought-American most popular superheroine who has surpassed The Seven in both popularity and profits. Replacing them as the crown jewel of Vought's marketing empire. For unlike the other heroes who’s heroics are all in comics, she actually goes out and helps out here and there. Helping at accidents, pulling people out of a fire, cleaning up messes after a natural disaster hits, disarming gunmen allowing the police to arrest them. Giving the company much in good PR for their products.

The Alicorn also doesn’t wear revealing outfits like the other heroines. She wears a thigh length grey coat and matching pants with red and yellow highlights. She wears a red tinted armor, gauntlets, boots, a metal chest plate and metal wings on her back. Which she uses with her telekinesis to glide and use them as shields. She wears a helmet in the shape of a unicorn with a glowing horn, which is a radio that allows her to hear and talk on most radio channels. She also uses a battle axe, its the length of her body and has a massive blade on it that run down about half the staff that it's attached to. That blade is attached to the staff by thick metal clips that held the blade in place, while letting Sunset grasp it and use it like a staff if she needed to use it that way. All of which she had designed herself, paying no attention to the team the company had given her who had wanted something more revealing. Saying how she doesn’t want to rely on sex appeal. (1)

Then there is the Equestria books that are written by said heroine, that rakes in millions and has a large fan base. One of Vought-American’s animation studios have made an animated series that brings in millions for the company, through ads and merchandise of the show. And best of all she doesn’t cost the company lots of money in covering up things that the other heroes do.

The Alicorn however did negotiated on the contact with the legal team, getting both complete control of the brand, copyrights, and large piece of the profits. Everything that has to do with Equestria had to be green lighted by her first, she has proven to be very protective of Equestria and refuses to change the lore she has written for it. But the results of the amount of money the fans are spending and how loved the series are, she knows what she's doing.

Then came 9/11 where as she was flying around she spotted a fighter jet firing a missile at a jet plane.

Flashback -

“You in the fighter jet, you have 3 seconds to tell me what’s happening before I rip you out of there,” Alicorn said over the radio using her power to create a bubble around her head so she could talk freely while flying along side of the plane.

“Alicorn this is Robert Schafer the president of the United States. The plane has been hijacked by terrorist, I gave the order to have it shot down,” a voice on the radio said.

“Good thing, I’m here then,” Alicorn said as she grabs the plane with her telekinesis stopping it in midair. She pulls the engines off leaving the plane unable to move. “Have the jet fighter lead the way to the nearest military base or airport.”

“You heard her,” Schafer said glad that at least one plane won’t be shot down.

End Flashback -

The Seven with their plane failed to save it but with the accidental rescue that wasn’t planned at all, Vought-American made lemonade. Alicorn became even more popular, helped by how humble she was with the rescue. Saying that she was just at the right place at the right time, and she just did what was needed to be done. The event didn’t get their foot in the door of the military but it helped in the PR, with spin doctors showing what heroes could had done to stop the two other planes. Seeing how the 4th plane wasn't stopped by The Seven and the Veep knocking out Schafer to get the fighter jet not to fire, leading to the bridge being destroyed.

In hindsight the call should had been given to just let the other plane be shot down. With Alicorn saving one of the planes, there would had been great PR, but they didn't and had to deal with the mess. The president is now watching the Veep like a hawk and the company had to spend hundreds of millions to cover things up.

Stillwell frowned as he stares at the picture of Alicorn, worried about dealing with her. As far as he knows she has no idea that The Seven had failed to stop the last plane, that resulted in the death of Mister Marathon. They had to pay off the woman who found his body in her apartment after he fell into it. Alicorn seems to have some idea what happen but how much she knows, he has no idea.

Dealing with Alicorn was like looking into a mirror for him. She's just as ruthless and cunning as he is, but is also younger then he is having hinted that she was mentored by someone. Stillwell had to admit being mentored would had made things alot easier for him when he first started out, he learned from experience to survive the cut throat world of business. But seeing how high profile she is and the amount of money she is making for the company, there is little he can do. Not to mention that she is just a better face for the company than even The Seven, and that even taking account of her maintaining control and getting a large cut of the profits. Something that they really didn't like in how a solo hero has over taken them in both popularity and profit.

Stillwell told The Seven if they want to regain their title, they should go out and do what Alicorn is doing. Alicorn is just making the company too much money for their envy of her surpassing them to be an issue. With the lost of the profits that the G-Men use to pull in, who were all taken care of as Godolkin's antics would inevitably get exposed while doing it quickly and efficiently. The bottom line is that she's making the most money, doesn't cost the company anything in the coverups that the other heroes cause and till The Seven can do something to overtake that lead she's untouchable.
