Grasped in magic, the spears are held level at barrel height and with a mighty yell, the swarm of changelings charge into Sindhoof. Looking at the scene, it would give the illusion of black water sweeping over the land, pouring into the unprepared town. At a closer look at the blob of blackness, It looks more like a bunch of ants swarming a piece of food. The catapults fired both boulders and changelings. The changelings that were catapulted began to come to come down in green flames in much a similar fashion as in the assault on Canteriot.

The attacking changelings put on a frightful display. Their purpose was to urge the townsfolk into surrendering and for the most part, it worked. At the ungodly sight before them, the ponies scattered and fled into their houses. Sure some brave few tried to resist to the attacking swarm, but could they really do? What spears they had where either burned or snapped in half, courtesy of the changeling infiltrators. All in all, only a few ponies needed to be put down. Almost no changeling fatalities have bolstered their moral to the point that they felt invincible.

Truly it was massive great planning and luck that won them the day. They completely surrounded Sindhoof, leaving the sea to west of the town. The next concern is how to integrate the ponies and exploit their love. The ponies show nothing but contempt to their occupiers. However, they show strong love to their families understandably. As their foals are cowering in fear and their parents comforting them, they are unknowingly feeding the changelings more than they'll ever need. The changelings don't want to keep the ponies in a state of fear forever though. Sindhoof is a fantastic place for a new colony and they need the environment to less hostile if they ever to bring in changeling families.

In the meantime the changelings leave behind a sizeable garrison and sent a few to bring the love, and news, back to the main colony. They suit up and head northeast. They have much more work to do. Secure more love, scout the area, make use of what they can find, and pay a certain "empire" a visit.
