What makes a pony grumpy? Even in the city that never sleeps, ponies are still, as a whole, happy. There’s a lot to be thankful for in Equestria: peace, a healthy economy, and an abundance of resources. But on one particular day, the Element of Generosity met a stallion who stood with a rather dissatisfied expression. Just what were his motivations? What was he reading in that newspaper? Why did something as small as a flower change him so rapidly?

Starring Russet Draft (AKA Sourpuss) and Coco Pommel

The main character is based on the pony with the Grumpy Cat cutie mark as seen in ‘Rarity Takes Manehattan’, referred to on the MLPwiki as ‘Sourpuss’. I have used my own variant of his name using artistic license.
