"Tesla, I have something to tell you" I hear, celestia walking up being me, "yeah?" I ask, wondering what it was, "I know how to get you home." She replies, and my mind goes into a flurry.

"You what?!?!" I ask, trying to form more questions, but my mind more or less shuts off. "I figured it out just now, I was thinking about what you said when you first arrived, you explained how your machine works, and it made me realize I could do something equivalent using magic, but first I need you to make another machine, I denticle to your first" she says, turning and leaving before I could say anything, and I got to work.

The first thing I think was I want to be able to come back to equestria, often, so I build a quantum beacon, which produces particles in the range of 5^95 electron volts, a powerful interdimensional signal, then I got to work on the quantum filter, the actual dimensional machine.

The most difficult part was the neutrino amplification tubes, but once I had made these with the help of some magic the rest of the machine was easy, mostly feild coils and particle generators.

I had spent almost a week building the machine, for the latter half twilight watching me,curious to see how it worked, dashie often asleep on my back while I worked.

As soon as I had completed it I told celestia, her calling a meeting.

"As you might remember Tesla isn't from this dimension, he's from a place called earth, and he has to return to the place he can from, say your goodbyes" celestia says to them all, putting it bluntly, but before they could say anything I spoke up.

"This isn't a goodbye, this is a see you later" I say, surprising celestia and Luna, "what?" They say, simultaneously, "I will be back, real soon to, in fact infinitely fast for your perception" I reply, and before they say anything I start up a spell I had spent some time working on.

The air around me glows as I start gathering up my energy to do the spell, a sudden boom rocketing my horn as the power rushes across the castle, spreading till it covered the entire planet, within seconds dying off, the spell working.

"What was that?" Twilight says, the others still getting over the shock I was leaving, dashie in tears. "That was a spell I created, when I leave this dimension time will freeze, when I return it will continue" I say, proud of my idea.

"Wait, so you are leaving?, but your coming back?" Celstia says, looking deep in thought, "yes, put simply" I say, thinking about how much earth must've changed since I left, "now will you turn me back to a human?" I ask, wishing to get this over with.

With out saying anything  Celestias horn begins to glow, and I feel my bones changing shape, my fur retracting into my skin, my about disappearing into my face, my hoof becoming hands and feet, my wings and horn retracting into my body, and suddenly I was human again.

I stand up, slightly embarrassed I was naked, but it didn't bother them, fluttershy and applejack moving closer to get a better look at me, pinkie and rarity looking like they were in shock, dashie and twilight already knowing what my human body looked like, dashie crying heavily.

"Oh, what's wrong dashie?, I'll be back before before you can even know it" I say, walking up to her and lifting her head up with my hand, "I don't want you to go, even the briefest moment would be agony!" She says between sobs, "don't worry, I'll always be with you, always and forever" I say, wrapping my arms around her neck, then walking back to the machine, turning the power switch, all that was left to do was celestia to make the singularity.

"Tesla, are you sure?" She says, eyeing the quantum filter, "yes" I reply, and her horn glows, a singularity forming in the machine, and before I could go against my decision I turn around wave, and fall into the singularity.

As the world fades I catch a glimpse of a leaf, caught in mid fall, and I knew my spell had worked, drifting into the oblivion as I was teleported back to earth.

I feel a THUMP! As I land, not believing where I was, I had landed in my lab.

I look around, I had landed right next to my machine, which was still running. I get up, naked and somewhat embarrassed, but what I saw at my desk shocked me more than anything else, even landing in my lab.

I had a shot of whisky on my desk, to celebrate a successful invention, but I hadn't been able to drink it since I had been transported to equestria, but it wasn't the shot that surprised me, it was it still had ice in it.

As soon as I see this my mind goes back to what I knew about the passage of time, that at higher speeds it slows, and at different places it moves differently, my mind procceses this, and I run fight back to my machine, jumping in it and being teleported to equestria.

I land right next to my machine in equestria, time starting again as I stand up, "I'm back" I say, shocking all of them.
