I didn't expect it to be any special or eventful day, I thought it would just be the day when I fired up project filament and saw a true masterpiece come into existence

I went to my lab early so that I could prep all the different parts of the machine and have it ready to fire up, I filled the fuel tubes, checked the psi, charged the capacitor bank, and had every thing ready to go. As I walked back to the control panel I started shaking from excitement and could nearly not pull the safety switch to on, then I watched as all system became operational at the same time, the big red button that glowed in front of me would set off something that would change my life forever, as I reached for it I became so shaky that I had to hit the button with my fist to make sure I pressed it.

In front of me the machine whirled to life and as I watched  I saw a glowing orb form in the machines core area, this I reallized was a true other worldly thing that would change humanity forever, and as I watched the orb got bigger and brighter, almost filling the machine, I not knowing what to do now left my safety cage and approached the machine with high caution, not knowing just how unsafe I was being I got up close to see the surface better, it looked like a soap bubble surface but was a blackish tint.

I walk around the machine inspecting the surface further of the quantum orb that sat in the machine, when all of a sudden I trip over the main power cord and fell, straight Into the quantum orb, I felt as if I were being ripped apart and I blacked out.
