As the portal closed I began walking towards Ponyville, then I heard a loud thump, I turned around to see two of the changeling drones laying there tangled in each others legs. "What the hell are you guys doing here, wait, did you follow me?" The drones recomposed themselves before one of them spoke up.

"Um, well, we kind of took a liking to you, so we talked to our queen and she said it was ok for us to go with you."

"Yeah, she also sent you a short letter." They levitated a small piece of paper over to me.

Dear Symbol
These drones have requested that they join you on your adventures, their names are Wasp and Zanny. They are very useful and obedient, if you wish to send them back, you are free to do so. They can be a bit clumsy but get the job done, think of it as a little gift from me.

"Well, this is unexpected." I looked to the changelings that were now giving me puppy dog eyes. "Fine, you can stay. But I have a few conditions."

Both changelings stood at attention. "First, you need to earn your keep, I want you to get jobs so you can help me pay for food and the occasional bill, understood?" They nodded. "Second, when out in public you need to be disguised, I don't want the ponies to panic." They looked at each other and transformed, Wasp changed into a red stallion with black straight hair, Zanny changed into a blue stallion with spiky white hair. "Good, last but not least, to help hide your identities, you will need fake names." I pointed to Zanny. "Your name when disguised is Crystal." He smiled, noting that he liked the name. "Now wasp, your name will be Flare blossom." He placed a hoof to his chin, he then nodded and smiled.

We began walking towards town. "Just a heads up, you might come face to face with a mare called Pinkie Pie, since you're new to town you can expect her to throw you a 'Welcome to Ponyville' party, she can be...weird and really hyperactive, I think she has the knowledge of the universe or something, so if she says that she knows you're changelings, just say to her to pinkie promise not to tell anyone, that way your secret will be safe."

"Um, how does that work exactly?" Asked an unsure Zanny.

"It's best not to question it."

I didn't have enough bits to buy them spare beds for my house, but they were fine with sleeping in hammocks in the basement, still better sleeping arrangements than when they were in the hive if you ask me. Then came the question as to how they were going to survive, apparently with all the love in the air in this Equestria they could feed off it without doing any harm to the ponies, they could still eat normal food but it wouldn't do much on the level of nutrition.

I figured I'd let the two settle into their new home before I introduce them to the girls. I left them to set up their hammocks and walked out of the house and to the outskirts of Ponyville. I pulled out my token (a purple diamond that I created in Ciphers Equestria) and a vortex appeared, I repeated the message.

"To those that need assistance, I will answer your call, Symbol Shattered." I then threw it into the portal. "This should be interesting." The portal closed and I walked back to my house. I entered to find Wasp and Zanny playing with a white fluffy spider with a red ring on its abdomen. "Where did you find that?"

"In the basement." They replied with unison. I didn't have a problem with it so I let them have their fun. I sat down on my couch and opened the book that Cipher gave me. He even made it look like one of the journals from Gravity Falls. The way things are going in his Equestria, I'm sure it's all going to end in some kind of final battle, and when it happens I better be asked to join in, if not I'll just get Forge to take me to it. Getting off topic. I began reading and found something interesting, apparently I'm supposed to mark all of the locations of the temples I visit on a map of Equestria and after I visit the last temple I'm meant to travel to the centre of the circle the temples create.

"Jeez, these cults never make it easy do they?" I continued reading until I heard tapping on the coffee table, I looked over to see the spider looking at me. "You want something little guy?" It pointed a leg to the opposite sofa, where Zanny and Wasp were curled up together sleeping. "Now that's just adorable." I held out my hand and let the spider crawl up my arm and rest on my shoulder. I walked over to the sleeping changelings and picked them up, I took them down to the basement and placed them in their hammocks. I then turned to look at the spider. "You got a web or something down here?" It nodded and pointed to a dusty pillow on a desk. I lifted the spider off my shoulder and onto the pillow, it spun around a few times before lying on its stomach. "Well, goodnight little guy." He waved a leg and closed its eyes. "I don't get why people find you guys Scary"

I walked up to my room and flung myself onto my bed. I pulled out my diamond that I had used to make my token, it was glowing slightly.

"Why do I get the feeling that something's going to happen tomorrow?"
