Fifty two years ago

‘Today was the day I make my farther proud of me.’ I thought to myself as I walked up the stairs to the Knight academy. The Knight Order was created as a way to protect the galaxy while working outside of Galactic Alliance rule.

“Hey Johan wait up!” A masculine voice said. I turned around to see Jake running towards me,  He was wearing a green tunic and sweats. “ I can’t belive we both graduated.”

“ Yeah.” I said. I can believe that Jake made it. Hell he's always been stronger and smarter than me.  

“ So who are you hopping you get paired with.” Jake said with his usual cocky grin. “ I’m hopping for Palidin Mars, or Blaze.”

“Knowing your scores you probably will end up with one of them.” I said. “Me I don’t care who I end up with.” Honestly I didn’t unlike my brother I wasn’t going to be a knight my entire life. Who would want someone like me as one. We both made are way to the main hall.

We meet up with the six other people that graduated. They imeditaly flocked over to Jake. That’s how it’s always been. I quickly make my way to the other side of the room. My brother has always outshined me. No matter what I did he did it better. He graduated at the top of the class while I barley passed.

“So still living in Jake’s shadow huh?” A masculine voice said.  I jumped a little as I looked behind me.  The man was Prince William Leaf. He’s the prince of Quzac, and a founding member of the Knight Order.  He was in his late thirties with short blonde hair. He wore a purple robe, a brown Tunic, and a pair of jeans.

“Sir William.” I said standing up straight.

“At ease Squire.” He said. He had a calm soothing smile on his face. “So you’re here waiting for your new master correct.”

“Yes sir.” I said. “Though I’m not sure why I passed. I did terrible in the academy.”

“You know.” He said. “You’re problem is you have no self-confidence. Besides I know who you’re going to be paired with.”

“Who?” I said curiously.

“Owe he’s a real hard ass.” He said. " Most people hate to be partnered with him."

“Who is it.” I said.

“Me.” He said.

“Owe.” I said. “Wait what!?” Did He just say he was going to be my master?  He then puts his right hand on my shoulder.

“As of this day forward you are my pupil.” He said.  I couldn’t believe it. Why would he want someone who barely made it instead of someone who passed with High honors?

“Why me?” I said.  " Did my father ask you to?"

" No." He said. " I chose you because you have potential of being one of the best."

     “I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I’m not going to be in that long.” I said. “I’m just going to do my time and leave.” then find a job somewhere. maybe I should become a pilot I always fancied flying.

     I could see a bit of disappointment on his face. “Well, I’ll just have to change your mind eventually.” He had a wide smile on his face.

Present day

     " Alright." Pulse said. "You're free to go. Make sure not to come here anytime soon."  he stuck out his forehoof. I believe that's what the term is. " Hey Johan if you need anything." He said levitating a piece of paper towards me. " This is my address, come by anytime I'm off work."  we both shake hands.

" See you sometime doc....." I said. " Hey Pulse. where are my clothes at." I said realizing I was wearing a bed sheet.

" Over here." Twilight said walking towards them. " Your shirt had a hole in it so my friend Rarity fixed it for you."

" Well tell her thanks for me." I said taking my clothes. " Now can you both get out.  I need to change."

“And your point is.” Doc said. “We're all naked here.”

“It’s my culture.” I said. Shit he's right they are naked. “Where I come from its taboo to be naked in public."

“Whatever.” The doctor said before leaving. " See you sometime."

“I’ll be right outside.” Twilight said.

As the door closed I took off the bed sheet.  I put on the underwear. “So Twilight” I said threw the door. “ Where am I going to be staying at?”

“My place.” She yelled back. “It’s the least I can do for you.”

“Oh okay.” I said. I started to put the jeans on. “So what’s the plan on bringing me back to my home.”

“Well my plan is to use a reverse spell.” She said. “ It’ll hopefully bring you back to where I took you from.” Ahh… I’m going to die.

“How about somewhere else.” I said. “If you teleport me there I’ll die from lack of oxygen.

“Okay, I’ll find a different place for you.” She said.

I then put on my black tunic. “You can come in Twilight.” I said putting my black socks on.

   Twilight walked in. “You must really like black.” She said noticing my attire  

“Yeah I do.” I said. “Ah Twilight did anything come with me.” I said wondering if my wedding ring came with me.

“Yes a ring with a necklace going through it.” Twilight said. “What is that by the way?”

“My wedding ring.” I said.

“You’re married?” Twilight said. She sounded a little disappointed. Weird.

“Going on thirty four years now.” I said proudly.

“Congratulations!” She said smiling. “Well we better hurry and bring you back to her .”

“You know .” Kazuma said. “We might us well stay here. besides I don't think anyone would care. Hell they all think your dead anyway. ”

“Your probably right.” I said under my breath.

" Besides you could probably get laid here." Kazuma said. " You have at least two women who might fling themselves at you."

" That's bestiality you sick fuck." I yelled. I then realized Twilight was looking at me. " I'm sorry Kazuma was speaking."

"That's okay I figured ... What's bestiality?" Twilight said  

" Ahh... That's not important." I said. My face felt like it was starting to burn. Am I blushing? What the hell man your taken!

"Technically they're aliens." Kazuma said. " So your argument is invalid."

" I hate you sometimes." I said under my breath.  I see a mirror on the back wall. I might as well look at myself and see if I’m going to have any scars after this whole ordeal. I start walking to it…. I stopped a few feet away from it. This can’t be right.  I looked at myself instead of seeing the somewhat greying old man with a full beard and long hair. I see a clean shaven young boy at least twenty with dark blue hair with a crescent of blonde hair on the left side. I stepped back. This couldn’t be happening I was young again. I blinked a couple of time to make sure I wasn't seeing anything.

“Hey Twilight.” I said. There was a bit of terror in my voice.

“Yes Johan.” She said. She was looking at me with a puzzling look on her face.

“Was there any side effects to your spell.” I said.

“No shit there was.” Kazuma said. “You’re a damn kid again.” he said pointing out the obvious.

“There was one but I didn’t think it would happen. It was reverse ageing.” Twilight said. She looked at me. Then she frowned. “How many years?” She said realizing what has happened.

“Fifty at least.” I said. “I reversed fifty years. If that happens again I’ll cease to exist.” Shit I can’t go back I’m stuck here. Ellie, I’m sorry.

“Look at me.” Twilight said shoving her face into my face. “I swear I’ll do everything in my power to return you to your home safe and returned to your original form.”

“Thank you Twilight.” I said with a tear coming out of my eye. "But you don't need to worry about me."

" Why?" Twilight said.

   " I already said my goodbyes to them." I said. I might as well tell her. " I was on a suicide mission before you teleported me here."

" What's a suicide mission?" She said. Wow these ponies are innocent.

" It means I wasn't coming back anyways." I said looking away from her. " Suicide is a term used for someone who kills themselves. A suicide mission means it was going to be  one way."

   " Why would you do that?" Twilight said she had tears in her eyes. " It makes no sense."

" Desperate times call for desperate measures." I said.

" I'm still going to help you get back." Twilight said. " That's what friends do. Promise me you won't do anything rash." She then procceds to hug me. I hug back.

" Thank you Twilight." I said.
