chapter 1
One day Gaia was in the gym. She was sparing with 5 of her staff. One minotaur was about to deliver a punch to Gaia's jaw. Gaia caught the punch and used it to punch him in the gut. Another minotaur charged aiming for her legs. she sidestepped at the last minute, making him crash into the nearby wall. Three more minotaurs charged at Gaia. She made a shield, using her magic at the last minute, blasting the other three minotaurs in all three directions from the impact.
After signaling them to stop Gaia smirked while saying "That's enough for today guys"
Suddenly a young minotaur, no older then 10 years old came and said "telegram for Ms Gaia! It's from the king himself."
Gaia approched the young minotaur and took the telegram and read it . One of the staff by the name of Getaway asked "What does it say?" Gaia responded "The king is going to the grand galloping gala, and needs me to provide the entertainment. He needs it by the day after tomorrow. He said I could stay in the castle."
"Tommorow!?" He exclaimed, clearly shocked. Sensing this Gaia replied "It's alright, it only takes me a day or two to compose and he hired the best of the best to play the music there. It must be pretty big, seeing as nobles from Draco, Minotaurus and Equestria are going to be there."
"I need you guys to prepare a carriage for me. I will pack my things and head to the castle. I will be back in three days. I'll send a letter if I can't make it." With that, Gaia hurried to go pack her stuff.
chapter 2
Once Gaia arrived at the castle she was greeted by King Oberon of minotaurus. "Sorry for calling you on such short notice. If I had remembered that each state was to provide entertainment" "It's alright I'll have it ready for you by the day after tomorrow your highness" she said "Thank you" King Oberon said with gratitude. "Anytime your highness" Gaia said.
After lots of practicing and work today was the day. She would even sing the songs herself .
She was scheduled to go last. So she went around and started to mingle with the guests. Suddenly, she felt somepony bump into her. She turned around to see it was none other than Princess Twilight Sparkle. "Sorry I wasn't looking where I was going." She suddenly stopped and stared at Gaia. Gaia shifted awkwardly, finally said "Are you alright your highness?" "Sorry, you don't happen to be Gaia, right?" Twilight said. "I am, infact Gaia your highness." Twilight squealed, causing a bunch of nobles to look at her in shock of her un-lady like behavior. "You wrote that thesis on dark magic." Twilight said in excitement "You read that huh your highness." Gaia said sheepishly.
It was true, she was bored one day, so she decided to write it. Gaia had no idea it would become famous. Twilight and Gaia began to converse about magic theory and other stuff that only egg-heads like them could understand. Finally it was time for Gaia to perform. She bid Princess Twilight goodbye. Gaia went backstage. After a few practice runs, they were good to go. Gaia performed 3 songs.

They were awesome, they were Gaia's best work, and there was no doubt about it. At the end of the last one Gaia's body started to glow. The light blinded everypony in the room. When the light cleared, everypony saw, that in Gaia's place was an orange unicorn. She had a navy blue mane with light blue, purple and magenta streaks in it. Her eyes were an electric blue, and her cutie mark was a red shield with a six pointed, yellow star inside. She had a striking resemblence to Princess Twilight and Prince Flash Sentry. She was the long lost princess. The said person started to float. She went higher and higher with each passing second. Finally when she was at the top of the room Gaia screamed, and started to fall. Flash Sentry tried to rescue her, but was too late. She hit the ground so hard she made a crater in the ground cause of the impact. All Gaia heard was Prince Flash Sentry calling for help, and Princess Twilight Sparkle's weeping before she blacked out.
