Prologue - Am I Really Insane?

Dark,

All alone,

Left to go insane.

Chained in what resembeled a jail cell.

Her rainbow colored mane was tattered and torn.

'Pinkie Pie...' she thought.

'Pinkie did this all...'

She was chained to the wall, but finally with brute force, she was able to break the restraints holding her, but was still weak.

After all that Pinkie did to her, she was finally free... Free to unleash her revenge. It was inevitable. Rainbow had to do this. For her friends. No, not just them... for ALL of Equestria. She would finish this once and for all, even if it killed her. She was called insane, no one believed that sweet, innocent, partygoer Pinkie Pie would try to murder the fast, fierce, quick-thinking Rainbow Dash. But they were wrong, they were ALL wrong. She'd prove to them that Pinkie was a murderous psycho who needed to go to a mental facility.

'A mental facility, for murderous psychos. That try to bake cupcakes.

Out of ponies.' Rainbow thought again.

"I'LL SHOW CELESTIA. I'LL SHOW THEM ALL." She yelled out, loud enough for the other chained ponies to hear her echo throughout.

Rainbow's Sorrow

Rainbow grabbed at the bars holding her in the room.

"LET! ME! OUT!" Rainbow screeched.

The rest of the ponies gasped.

"What? What did I say?" Rainbow asked.

A pink pony approached.

"Now, what would be the point in that, silly?" the pony chuckled.

"Pinkie! You let me out!" Rainbow pleaded.

The mare simply just flipped her mane back.

"And you think I'd do that, why?" Pinkie giggled.

'Alright, I have to make a run for it.' Rainbow thought.

Rainbow sank back to the corner of her cell, as Pinkie trotted away with a cute giggle turning to a menacing laugh.

"Here!" Rainbow got ready to run.

"I!" She started running.

"GO!" She burst through the bars with extreme force, spraining her right hoof.

Rainbow fell onto the floor in despair, while the other ponies cheered, then noticed that Rainbow was just being delusional as the bars of the cell were pretty much broken, and it just took an ounce of strength to break them. Either way, her hoof was most likely sprained.

"I can still flutter my wings! Distract Pinkie if she comes back!" Rainbow ordered, flying towards the exit, using her left hoof to help keep her right hoof steady.

A small voice echoed from the other side of the room.

"Rainbow! Tell the Princess! Tell her about Pinkie! Please!" The voice pleaded.

Rainbow realized who it was. The sweet pony, one of her best friends, was stuck in here too. Pinkie had made the cell magic-proof. Rainbow couldn't believe it. It was her friend: Twilight Sparkle.

"NO! TWILIGHT!" Rainbow yelped.

Silence reigned amongst the ponies.

"Go on, Rainbow, please!" Said Twilight, signaling that Pinkie was coming with a hit of her hoof on the cold metal walls of her cell.

Dash started crying gently. "Don't worry Twilight..." she whispered, almost as quiet as Fluttershy would say, inbetween sobs. "I'll help you... I'll help everyone." Rainbow sobbed, then flew silently out the exit.

Somebody's In the Kitchen With Twilight

"Oh Twilight, don't you know better? Looks like we're going to the kitchen." Pinkie snickered as she put shackles on the Purple mare's front hooves, opening the cell door and dragging her into the darkness.

The lights flickered on.

The walls were horrifying. Painted with blood, ponies' pelts everywhere.

"P-Pinkie?" Twilight managed to stutter, dazed.

"Don't you know by now? You disobey Pinkie Pie, Y-" Pinkie said her motto, but was interrupted by a grey pony.

"DERPY? How the hell did YOU break out?" Twilight gasped.

The mare looked at the knife in Pinkie's hand.

"Ohhhh, this must be the deli. I thought it was the post office. Well, g'bye!" Derpy said, flying out of the building, parcel in her mouth.

"Why doesn't anyone like my 'parties'? They're awfully fun. I should really keep that door closed. and locked.

Twilight shook her head. "No!"

Pinkie giggled. "Dashie may have escaped, and I may not be able to torture her, but you're her friend! And parties are no fun without friends, right, Gummy?"

Let's Fly

Rainbow Dash flew swiftly through every cloud, hoping to cover her tracks, but little did her tired mind know it could make matters worse.

'She could be here... I can't stop now,' Dash thought.

Pushing that thought away, she whispered to herself, "Straight to the Princess' castle. There's no time to waste" Dash was furious, she was determined to get to Celesia's castle in 10 seconds flat.

"This was all too easy to escape... I KNOW it's not over. I'm not free yet." she murmured, flying to the ground.

"Damn right it wasn't." an orange pony with a frazzled mane and tail

said, flying right in front of her, biting rainbow's wings.

Dash curled up into a ball, the pain was too intense. Her last words

before she blacked out were a weak, "twilight"

A New Beginning

Rainbow slowly opened her eyes to a mare with a blue pelt and a green mane. "A-am I alive?" she questioned weakly.

"You need to rest. I'll tell you later." the mare said.

"Well I'd kinda like to know if I'm ALIVE." Rainbow yelled, trying to fly away, but her wings were bandaged together. "Damnit!"

The blue mare sighed, then said, "Fine. Just calm down. Yes, of course you're alive. Scootaloo, you know her, right?"

Rainbow glared at her, "Yes."

"Well, she tried to kill you. B-but I saved you." The Pegasus said,

sobbing.

"Little Scoots? Damnit Pinkie!" Rainbow raged.

"I-I'm so sorry, I k-killed her." the blue pony stuttered.

Rainbow almost tried to bite the Pegasus, but some gratitude for saving her life stopped her, "YOU W- I... I know. Thank you." she cried softly. "What did Scootaloo do to deserve this?"

The blue Pegasus's tears faded as she smiled at Dashie. "I'm...

Harmony" she said quietly.

"Thank you, Harmony." Rainbow smiled.

"Now, since you can't fly, let me guess... Straight to the Princess?" Harmony asked.

"Yeah, can you take me there?" Rainbow Dash questioned.

"Sure thing, just hop on my back." Harmony added.

Daisy Jewel

"I'm sorry Rainbow Dash, I just can't believe this." a mare with a long, flowing mane sighed. "Please, Princess Celestia! I have the bite marks on my wings to prove it!" Rainbow argued. "I know you know Pinkamena Diane Pie is one of the sweetest ponies in Equestria." Celestia reasoned.

Harmony burst through the door, running towards Rainbow, with sheer terror in her eyes.

"Har--" Celestia was cut off by Harmony.

"T- Th- they..." Harmony sobbed. "They TOOK her!" she wailed, grabbing Dash and placing her on her back, and flying to Dash's Cloudsdale home, in which seemed like an eternity.

"Harmony? What happened?" Rainbow asked frantically, trying to get the

Pegasus to stop sobbing heavily.

"My sister... Daisy Jewel.. They took her." Harmony started sobbing again.

"DAMN IT! They've gone too far!" Dashie raged.

"Um, you should really watch your language... the animals shouldn't... hear that." a familiar sweet and calming voice said, birds chirping at the tone of her voice.

Fluttershy! Oh, God, was it nice to hear her sweet voice again.

Dash trotted up to her and smiled as big as she could, as she did not want to injure herself further by hugging the yellow mare.

"This is serious!" Harmony cried.

Fluttershy trotted over to the sobbing pegasus.

"There, there. It'll be OK. Don't worry." her soft, calming voice echoed throughout the room.

"No... It'll never be OK." Harmony trailed off.

The birds chirped and circled Fluttershy. "Just trust me, it will. Everything will be fine, Swe-- Harmony." Fluttershy assured, but stumbled on the blue pony's name.

A purple unicorn burst through the doors, running to Harmony.

"Harmony, Harmony! It's not true! I'm OK!" the mare screeched

assuringly.

Harmony stopped crying for a moment.

"Daisy Jewel, I thought I'd never see your sweet face again!"

Daisy Jewel looked around nervously, but finally spoke after many moments of suspenseful silence.

"I don't have much time... They're going to kill me. I just wanted to say... I... L-lo" she stuttered, "love you!" she sobbed.

Fluttershy backed over to the corner near the exit. "Um," she

whispered, "I'm going to go... Feed the...

baby bunnies! Yeah, them."

Silence filled the room.

"Akward..." said Rainbow.
