Diamond Princess
Chapter 9: The Prince of the Northern Diamond Kingdom and A Untold Story
Previous ChapterA week after Dark Light had been killed Sombra returned home to the Northern Diamond Kingdom, when his subjects saw him they happily accepted him back home. Life had resumed itself in both great Kingdoms, after two months of being away Prince Sombra desided to see Princess Twilight. He felt the need to see his 'Twilight Princess', he had given her a nickname because he thought she needed one.
Princess Twilight trusted him with a secret she never told anypony, her her true name was Princess Twilighta Amondria Sparkla which meant Twilight Amondra Sparkle. Her true name was a mix of Germane, Nieghgypt, and Saddle Arabian. (Her true mother was Saddle Arabian/Nieghgypt, her true father was Germane.)
Her true name just translated her name in this lifetime, her height had changed Twilight was now between Celestia and Luna's height. Sombra's height was now equivalent to Twilight's own, their hieght wouldn't change unless when needed.
Prince Sombra had a sister who was one of Princess Twilight's addenants; Solara Star, she relayed letters to and from her twin brother. Sombra felt do happy to know how she and Princess Twilight were doing. Today Prince Sombra found out the Princess Twilight was sick, but the doctors couldn't figure out what had caused their beloved ruler to become sick as she was. Solara had explained in her letter that when Princess Twilight had gotten back from helping the guards check the southern boarder, upon her return to the palace Solara herself had given her lady some cold water before sending her to bed.
Solara blamed herself for she had caused Princess Twilight to become sick, and now she had to live with this mistake. Prince Sombra had teleported himself to the southern kingdom, Twilight needed him more then even and he wasn't going to leave her alone again. Solara saw him as she came around a corner, waving a hoof, telling her twin to follow, she leaf him to The Diamond Princess's Royal Quarters.
The doors to Princess Twilight's chambers open by another addenant that Solara knew very well, Sombra entered the room first, Solara followed close behind gesturing from the others in the room to give the northern ruler sometime alone with their ruler. Everypony, Solara included, left the two alicorns in the room Twilight eyes had deep bags under them making one of the answers to his questions clesr, she hadn't slept for hours... every little noise must've been torture to her ears cuasing her not get a wink of sleep. Her breathing was ragged and forced, that cold water could have made her temperature to drop dramatically. Sombra knew Twilight was his top priority right, he loved her so much he'd do anything to cure her.
Twilight looked at her most beloved friend with eyes could melt steel, she wanted to feel better so badly that she'd give up her cutie mark to do it. Sombra leaned down to hug Twilight, but instead he kissed her hoping that this would somehow comfort her. He had been meaning to do that for a very long time but he never got the chance before. The kiss made Twilight clam down enough that she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep, Sombra watched over Twilight as she slept and he thought she looked like an angle when she slept.
The day dragged on as Sombra tried to think of a reason as to why in the ponyfeathers he kissed her, as hard as he thought on one he couldn't come up with anything to say. Twilight's sickness was almost gone, but she was sick from food poisoning. The water she drank only made her feel as Death itself was claiming her life, but when Sombra kissed her she suddenly felt alive and well.
When Twilight woke up again for nearly the 900th time in the last two months she'd been in bed both sick to her stomach and worried out of her mind for her ponies and most loved one. Sombra heard Twilight moving, trying to get out of bed, probably worried for her subjects, and he didn't blame her. Sombra help his precious princess to the floor, she a little unsteady when standing up she had been bed-ridden for quiet a while. Twilight fell forward almost crashing face-first with the floor, Sombra's magic saved her from even more pain and she was more than thankful to have him back.
“Sombra... I have something I need to show you, but please don't hate me after this.”
“I could never hate you, Twilighta.”
“Please, Oh great and beautiful moon! I wish for a stallion that will be accepted by my clan!”
A brown coated mare with bright green eyes wished on the full blood moon. She wore gypsy clothing and tears glistened her eyes. The moon did not answer her plea.
For the next few full blood moons the mare returned to the top of the mountain and gazed upon the face of the moon. Tears glistened in her eyes, as the moon was reflected in them.
“Please oh beautiful moon! Here my plea! Give me a stallion that will be accepted by my clan!”
The blood moon once again was silent to the earth pony’s plea. The mare turned to leave once again to try again next month when a bright flash blinded her temporarily. The Queen of the Blood Moon stood hovering above.
“Thou hast wished long and hard. We will grant thy wish.”
The mare’s face twisted into joy, as she was about to run down the mountain in glee, the Queen stopped her. The Queen’s eyes were aglow with power.
“In return mortal, thou wilst relinquish thy first child you have with him to Us!”
The mare only nodded happily.
“Yes, yes of course my Lady! It will be done!”
The Queen’s eyes twisted into a sorrowful gaze. She knew the consequence of such a wish. This mare would never truly care for the foal that would surely be born.

Months passed and the gypsy mare had given birth. She was worried about what her husband would think. The foal was a little girl, a filly. That was not the problem though, it was the fact that the filly was purple. The filly had lavender eyes, and worst of all it was not an earth pony. It had both wings and a horn!
Her mane was a dark blue with a lighter hue stripe next to a purple pink stripe. She held none of the colors of the original parents!
Her husband came into the tent. His coat was brown like hers. A mane black as a barren night, it contrasted so much with her light brown mane. She had hidden the filly under a red blanket.
“Honey, please…” she begged weakly. She hadn’t had enough time to come with an excuse on the colors of the foal.
“There is nothing to be afraid of darling.” The stallion said as he nuzzled his wife. He then removed the blanket that hid the filly. The stallion dropped the blanket in surprise.
“What is this treachery!” he demanded pointing an accusing hoof at the filly who was sleeping soundly next to her mother.
“I can explain!” she pleaded with him.
“No! I understand perfectly thou treacherous snake! Thou hast cheated on me!”
The mare shook her head vigorously. Tears welled up in her eyes as she stared at the retreating back of her husband. She looked uncertainly at her filly.
She sang a lullaby to the sleeping filly, and dread filled her heart. What would her husband do? She had to explain about the promise she had made to the Queen of the Blood Moon.
“Thou wilst die!”
The mare turned around to see her husband wielding a knife in his mouth. She didn’t have enough time to react as she screamed, the knife cutting through her like butter.
The scream woke up the filly, and she began to cry. The stallion looked disdainfully at the foal. A creature he considered an abomination. Not wanting to feel like a monster by killing a filly that had only symbolized the treachery of his deceased wife, took the filly in his mouth.
He ran out of the house with the filly, and he carried it to the top of the mountain. The stallion had often seen his wife come here to pray. He abandoned the filly onto the mountain top. The full moon shown brilliantly down on the barren top, illuminating the filly.
The stallion frowned and ran down the mountain. He would have to bury his treacherous wife and move on. He didn’t want to live here anymore. A brand of moonlight touched the filly. Her crying stopped, and she looked up to see the Queen of the Blood Moon hovering above her. She waved her forearms at the stranger. The Queen held a small smile. She was slightly depressed at what she had done. She picked the filly up in her magic and brought her close to nuzzle.
“We shall name you Twilighta Amondria Sparkla for thy mane reminds Us of the time between day and night, and thy coat sparkles in this moonlight.”
Twilighta giggled and wrapped her forearms around the Queen’s muzzle.

“My love, what hast thou done!”
“We merely granted a wish!”
“This child, she is unnatural!”
“We care not!”
“If you truly love her than We Both shall raise together, my love.”

Days passed and Blood Moon Queen’s happinesz grew. Her husband had allowed that their child be revealed to the public. Only the guards and workers of the castle knew of the action the Blood Moon Queen had done.
“Twilight, Our love does understand. We basks in the glory of our kingdom. It is your kingdom too. Are thy not good enough for Our subjects?”
The Queen nuzzled the filly with a frown. She looked up from the filly a dark expression on her face.
“thou will make Our subjects understand one day.”
Moonlight crept over the Moon Queen. It devoured her body and her appearance turned brighting. Twilighta began to smile happily.
“Worry not dear child, this kingdom will also be yours, when the time is right.”
The King of the Silver Diamonds was walking down the hall. Her white feathers gleemed. Her wife had been acting differently. He heard the giggling of their filly. The pony still did care much for a creature born of magic.
He opened the door to the filly’s room. Towering over the cradle was some brightened creature that looked like his wife.
“Thou hast finally appeared, my love.”
The Brightened creature hugged the filly.

The silver pony tiredly walked into the filly’s room. This was the only part of the castle that had not been destroyed. His wife had planned well and in the grips of the madness that had managed to destroy them his wife cast a protection spell over the room.
The King looked down on the sleeping filly. She had managed to cast a sleeping spell. His wife’s power had been more powerful the more she cared. The Queen had managed to banish their foes to the depths of the ice. Now, all was left was the filly.
He was convinced his daughter had caused the transformation, but as the King gazed down at the sleeping filly he saw something else. Greatness, kindness, honesty, optimism, generosity, and loyalty: The elements. He vaguely remembered the elements telling him something as his wife wielded them against their foes.
The room began to shudder and some cement crashed to the ground. The protection spell was disintegrating. He hed revealed Twilighta to the populace. Destruction would certainly occur to the government. More than this revolt did.
He had enough strength to do this one spell. Everything had to be perfect in a thousand years. He would prepare and teach her to make it so. His daughter would be ready and most likely try to take change in what was hers, this kingdom.
“May the heavens protect and watch over you. May the heavens watch over us all.”
His spell wrapped around the filly and in flash of brilliant gold she had disappeared.

The filly appeared in the same room. It was different. Vines crept around the walls and webs littered the corners and ceilings. A hoof with a golden shoe covering it stepped closer to the filly. Twilighta looked up to see a brilliantly silver pony.
“Welcome, my little one. Come. I will prepare you for the future.”
Sombra hadn't known Twilight had been born from a Wish, but he didn't care if she was born from a Wish or not he loved her more anything. Her happiness was that mattered to him.
