"Skypaw I have to teach you how to hunt prey for the clan today" Lionblaze said. "Will be be training with any po- I mean cat?" Skypaw stated. "Whitepaw and Cherrypaw and their mentors will be coming with us" Lionblaze said. "Let's go then" he mewed.

Whitepaw's POV

"Skypaw and Lionblaze will be waiting Whitepaw" Bublestripe said. "Bumblestripe, let's go teach these you ones how to hunt shall we" Cloudtail meowed cheerfully. "Lionblaze and Skypaw are already at Sky Oak we will be hunting there" Cloudtail mewed. "Ya Rar- Err  I mean Whitepaw" Cherrypaw said.

Lionblaze's POV

"Ok Skypaw keep your tail down back arched and-" I said. "Hello Skypaw" Whitepaw mewed. "Hi" she said. Skypaw put her nose in the air. "Every cat be quite" I hissed lightly. Cloudtail and Bumblestripe suddenly got it. "Yes you two shush" Bumblestripe meowed. Whitepaw looked at my apprentice. Skypaw arched her back and put her tail down. Whitepaw and Cherrypaw were very confused. Skypaw jumped on a small patch of grass and came out with a plump mouse in her jaws. "Wow so cool" Cherrypaw exclaimed. "Skypaw did a hole and put the mouse in it so we can save it for later" I said pawing the ground smiling at the small she cat. "Too bad we didn't catch and prey like Skypaw did" Cherrypaw meowed disappointed. "It's ok some cats learn faster than others" Coudtail meowed. "Wait" my apprentice mewed. She put her nose in the air. Some cats are here. "What do they smell like it is probably one of our patrols" I said. "No! It's not follow me" Skypaw said. She raced off, "let's go it could be somthing" Bumblestripe dashed off. "Look" Skypaw said. Sure enough a Windclan patrol was on our side of the territory. "Skypaw they are on our borders I want you to attack them but you can't kill them got it" I said. "Yes" Skypaw said. "Why did you do that" Bumblestripe asked. "I am going to test her" I said. "Cherrypaw and White paw go with Skypaw. We will come in if needed" Cloudtail said.

Skypaw's POV

My first fight I'm nervous. I saw Whitepaw and Cherrypaw behind me. "Cloudtail told us to come" she said. "Ok when I say Thunder we attack ok" I said. "Got it" they both said. They are coming closer and closer "Thunder" I yowled. I jumped on a black cats back and scratched him with my claws. Whitepaw and Cherrypaw were attacking the other cat of the two. The cat I was facing was bigger than me and a lot stronger. He hit me off him and hissed. "You shouldn't be fight against me kitty pet" the cat said. "Why do you say that fox heart" I lashed back. He jumped on top of me but I was to fast. When he landed a bit his tail as hard as I could. He yowled in pain. As he lashed me off and attempted to scratch my muzzle. I then bit he back paw and clawed his flank. I saw Whitepaw's fur stained with red. I clawed the Windclan Warriors ears. I have to attack one side of his flank and he will hopefully back down. I then attacked his flank with all my might. He tried to attack again but failed as I attacked the same side of his flank. " you pesky little fur ball, YOU WILL DIE!" He yowled. I scratched his ear. "Breezepelt retreat you are hurt badly" the black she cat said limping. They both dashed off. I looked at Cherrypaw she had little cuts on her belly. And a deep scratch on her side. Whitepaw's coat was now red with blood and a big cut on her for paw. My navy blue coat had a scratch on both front paws and another scratch on her side. "Let's get you three to Jayfeather he will help" Lionblaze said.

I walked into camp immediately Applepaw and Duskpaw shouldered me, Cherrypaw and Whitepaw. Flutterpaw walked out and said "Oh my what happend" "We had our first battle happend" said Skypaw. "Flutterpaw lets get your first lesson in healing wounds" Jayfeather said. "This is the role of being a warrior" Lionblaze meowed in her ear "and I love it" I meowed back.
