Equestria, Ponyville Park, After Season 3

It was just any other normal day in Ponyville. Normal being crazy because of the Elements of so-called Harmony. They were out on a picnic on the grassy plains next to the park where all the fillies and colts would play.

"I can't believe you wanted to waste this day sleeping Rainbow Dash, it's really nice outside." Fluttershy says meekly.

"Fluttershy is right darling, the weather is absolutely amazing!" Rarity agrees as she levitates a napkin to wipe her muzzle gracefully.

"I know, I could even go for some stunts it's just... Hey Pinkie can you stop shaking your tail like that in my face?" Rainbow Dash asks, irritated with her shenanigans.

"But it's a twitchy tail!" She shrugs. "OOh do you girls see that?" Pinkie points to something falling from the sky that nopony else can see.

"No. What are you even looking at?" Princess Twilight asks as she pulls out a daisy sandwich and elegantly takes a bite out of it.

Two bipedal figures that are barely able to be made out are seen falling directly towards the mane six and one of them appears to be screaming and flailing out their arms. They look almost like minotaurs except they don't have horns and are much smaller and without fur. One appears to be female and darker skinned while the other is much lighter skinned and male.

"Oh, I've never seen those kind of creatures before... How did they get up there?" Fluttershy questions with newfound curiosity.

"I don't know but we're going to find out. Let's go girls!" Twilight commands. She uses her magic to clean up the picnic and put away the basket.

Terra, Sol System, Milky Way Galaxy, January 19th AD 6841

"Hey David, you going to jump? Or are you scared?" Amanda taunts.

"No. I've jumped everytime you asked me to. I doubt this time will be any different from the others in the way of yielding results." I state exasperatedly. In truth I just wanted to do something else besides jumping and deploying my cybernetics matrix for a portal that wouldn't even appear. I take one last look at Terra and jump, unknowingly changing my life forever.

I feel the air rush against my skin as I fall to my would-be demise. I see a blue circle appear at least a few kilometers below me. The thing must be miles long to be able to be seen like that. Then again, cybernetics do help with my vision.

"I think I see a portal!" I say through my molecular radio to Amanda.

"Wait for me! I'm going to jump!" She says in her usual cheerish voice. Hmm, I guess you were right this time. I'll finally get to leave this boring shithole. I mean, I did have fun here but... Yeah forget it. This place sucks.

I feel my air get taken away as I'm stretched infinitely until the point of almost passing out. It almost feels like going through a star giant except you are being stretched inside of it because of gravitational pull.

My colors blur for a second before reversing and then reversing again back to normal. "Enable HIDV." A visor covers my face displaying various types of information as I freefall. I only look for the standard data though. "What atmosphere layer am I on?"

"You are in the thermosphere at approximately 160 kilometers high." I immediately engage an oxygen mask that could last me a few hours. I know my atmosphere layers and I am very damn high up.

"Hey David!" Amanda's barely audible voice vibrates before I enable my radio again since it has regained function. I allow it to replay the previous communications.

"Hey Amanda. Race you to the bottom!" I challenge cockily.

"You're on!" I go into a sort of dive as the ground approaches me at a much faster speed.

"Enable heat controllers, turbop thrusters, and boosters!" I mentally command my cybernetics. A holophysical pair of thrusters and boosters generate from solar energy and immediately harden and cool, fastening to my shoes, increasing my speed even more to over 490mph.

A while later...

I'm finally under 2,000 feet and I see a giant plains rapidly approaching.

I start trying to move my arms but only end up flailing them. "I think I may have stayed in this position too long. Looks like I'm going to splat before you can land, girlfriend." I say mockingly in my radio. I just hear a sigh and thats it before I hit the ground and have the wind knocked out of me. My holoarmor absorbed most of the impact but it still hurt. I am flat on my back as I turn around completely to see where I hit. There is a giant crater under me and what appear to be six multicolored mares with weird manes and tails. Some of them have horns or wings and only one of them has both. I feel my hair to make sure it's still slicked back. I sigh in relief upon findig it is. I see Amanda land right next to me, laughing.

"You are insane, you know that?" She comments, completely ignoring the ponies which seems to confuse and anger some of them.

"You don't look so tough. How far did you fall?" A cyan pegasus with a rainbow coloured mane and tail asks.

"Oh, it isn't drugs, eh I've seen crazier."

"What are you? What species, where did you come from, wh-" Pinkie Pie shoves a hoof in Twilight's muzzle, effectively silencing her until she backs up and spits the hoof out. "Pinkie! A new species, possibly mythological just fell from the sky and you don't even want to know what they are?!"

"She'll answer your questions." I say bluntly before pushing Amanda next to Twilight as I run away.

I'm suddenly enveloped in what is some kind of purple kinetic field "Where do you think you are going?" The purple mare asks me suspiciously.

"I don't even know you!" I reply.

"Oops, my name is Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship." She says proudly. Before the other mares can introduce themselves I snort and then start laughing manically in a way that could rival Seananners.

"That-- *chuckle* that-- *giggle* where did you learn to-- *snort* tell such funny jokes?" I ask impolitely, ignoring the fact that the mares are now glaring at me.

"Ignore him, all he does every day is play virtual reality video games, eat food, sleep, and ditch school." Amanda says, causing them to snort.

I flip her off but she just ignores me.

"My name is Applejack, Element ah Honesty, hardest working pony around!" The mare with a stetson hat says proudly.

"My name is David, careless, lazy, and master of not doing anything useful with my life." I say boredly.

Suddenly I'm forcibly hugged by the pink mare with the curly mane. "MY NAME IS PINKIE PIE AND WE ARE SO GOING TO BE BEST FRIENDS! I CAN'T WAIT TO THROW YOU A PARTY AND HANG OUT WITH YOU AN-" I clamp her mouth shut with my hand.

"Does the party have junk food?" I release my hold on her mouth.

"TOTALLY! AND-"

"That is all I needed to know, I'll go to your party later." She squees and ignites until she is launched in the sky like a firework rocket. "Did not see that coming." I remark.

"I'm Rainbow Dash! Fastest pegasus in all of Equestria and future Wonderbolt!" The cyan pegasus does a couple of admittedly cool tricks but she'll have to live up to her title for me to believe all of that.

"I'm Rarity, fashionista, and owner of the Carousel Boutique." The snow white unicorn says. Well that explains a lot. What with the purple mane and tail.

"I'm Fluttershy." The banana yellow pegasus with a pink mane says timidly. Amanda looks at her expectantly waiting for her to talk a little louder but even then she still can't hear the pegasus.

"Can you say that a little louder please?" Amanda implores.

"She said Fluttershy." I state impatiently. "Now c'mon where da party at?" I question hyperly, suddenly gaining a ridiculous amount of energy.

I disappear in a mach cone, confusing everyone, even Amanda.

"Not even going to question that one." Amanda says tiredly.

"Can you tell us what you are and your name?"

"We are humans, two of over a trillion currently in the universe. Oh, and my name is Amanda." The ponies look at her confused beyond belief.

"How big is this trillion number, because to me it just sounds made up." Rarity asks curiously.

"Yeah I would like to know as well." Twilight concurrs.

"Do you have a pen and paper?"

"Do you mean a quill and parchment?" Twilight asks confusedly.

"No but that could work too I guess..." Amanda accepts. Twilight's horn glows as she levitates a quill, an ink bottle, and a piece of parchment out of her saddlebag.

"How did you do that without technology?"

"Um... Darling she used magic." Rarity says as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"New world... New rules..." Amanda mutters to herself, unaware that they can hear her because of their better hearing.

"Did you not have magic where you come from?" Twilight questions worriedly.

"Nah, it was fantasy back in my galaxy."

"Wait you are saying galaxy, why are you saying galaxy and not world?"

"Well... The thing is, humans live in colonies on many different planets, there being over a trillion of us it makes the most sense."

"Oh... Well I'll have to ask you about that later, can you show us how big this number really is?" I grab the quill, ink, and parchment that she somehow still is levitating and write down the number for her.

"Wha... There are that many of you?!!"

"There are only four million ponies!"

"Yeah and one million times a-" Amanda is interrupted as David comes out of nowhere with a trollface mask.

"Nerd." I say mockingly. The mares glare at me but their glares soften when I take off the mask.

"What is that mask?" Rainbow Dash asks as she flies up to me at record speed, immediately stopping a yard away from me.

"Oh this thing?" I ask, pointing the the trollface. She just nods.

"Yeah, that looks kinda like a prankster mask."

"Well it's called trollface." I explain before doing a very scarily impressive impression of the trololo song.

2 minutes later.

"-OLOLO--" Applejack shoves a hoof in my mouth finally to stop the annoying song.

"I think we get it Sugarcube." She deadpans. I push her hoof back so fast nopony even notices that I did anything until Applejack stares at where her hoof used to be.

"Huh? How did you? What?" Applejack mutters dumbfounded.

"Don't question it, you will lose your sanity. I have tried to figure it out but I have no idea where to even start." Amanda says.

"So, kinda like Pinkie Pie?" Twilight suggests.

"Yeah pretty much." Amanda agrees.

"I'm still here." I say in mock-anger. "And the way I did that was by injecting myself with adrenaline and activating my thrusters neurally, to maximize speed possibility." I explain, but everyone just looks at me like I'm speaking in chinese or something.

"So, uh... How are we going to do this without the populace freaking out? I know that if an unknown species came in contact with my society bad things would very likely happen." I say seriously all of a sudden. Twilight, Rarity and Applejack look at me dumbstruck for a few seconds before Twilight finally says something.

"Well, I'll have to ask Princess Celestia about that, but my number one assistant, Spike is currently asleep as of right now so I'll have to use a spell Princess Celestia taught me in emergencies." Twilight informs us.

"You might need this then." Amanda remarks as she passes the ink pot, quill, and parchment paper to Twilight.

"Thank you." She says graciously as she levitates the items in her magic while everyone/everypony watch her expectantly, waiting for something to happen.

After Twilight has put the finishing touches in her letter, it disappears in a puff of smoke.

"Is this your form of instant messaging?" I question curiously. Maybe this place might not be as hard to get used to as I previously thought.

"Uh... I guess it could be called that." Twilight agrees thoughtfully.

"Do any of you guys have the time? Because my clock isn't exactly set to your timezone." I say as I make a holographic board appear with a desktop including icons and the time. "And also, no internet signal here. That sucks." I add, refering to the crossed out bars in the corner of the screen.

"Wow... That's pretty technological advanced. Considering you don't have magic I'm amazed you can do that."

"I don't fully understand it myself." Amanda comments.

"It can use a neural interface but that just makes things way too easy. I only use that when I'm tired." I note.

"Well, the time is about 3 o'clock in the afternoon."

"Seriously?" I ask incredulously, giving Twilight a wided-eyed expression. I must have misheard or something.

She chuckles and nods reassuringly. "We have the same timezone..." I mumble to myself.

All of a sudden a quill pops up in mid-air.

"Ahem." Twilight clears her throat to get our attention. All eyes turn to her. She levitates the letter up and starts reading it. "My former student, I have heard of these humans you speak of in myths but the technological level you described would make them biased, so I must see them for myself. A royal chariot will arrive in a few hours. Sincerely, your former mentor, Princess Celestia."

"Uh oh." Applejack steps back a few paces cautiously as Twilight Sparkle's mane becomes disheveled.

"A few hours?!" She says with a glint in her eye that speaks of insanity. "I have to prepare!" She speeds off, knocking me to the ground to 'prepare' the town.

"Well, that is not good." I state, very annoyed at this point.

"No, no it is not. Let's go find her before she does something crazy." Rarity orders as the ponies all run with her towards Princess Twilight's last known location.

"IF YOU NEED ME, I'M GOING TO BE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO EAT!" I yell to the mares, but they show no sign they heard as the wind rushes through their manes.
