MURDERER DRASTICALLY STRIKES TWICE AGAIN!!!

Two well-known and respected community members of Ponyville, and famed Elements of Harmony were found dead yesterday.  Ms. Fluttershy and Ms. Rainbow Dash.  It is highly suspected that the murderer of Ms. Heartshine, the young mare from Lower-town Canterlot whose body was found horrendously mutilated just five days ago near Ponyville, is the same culprit who assassinated the two other mares.

Ms. Rainbow Dash's body was found lying on Ms. Fluttershy's kitchen floor.  Reports from an anonymous source say that Ms. Rainbow Dash was keeping company with Ms. Fluttershy at her cottage, as she was the one who found Ms. Heartshine's body in a ditch not far from her property, and was greatly upset by the discovery.  

Ms. Rainbow Dash was impaled three times by three somewhat large, individual knives that had been forcefully driven into her chest and abdomen.  There were a number of bruises and cuts along her body and four bones on her right wing were snapped, making it impossible for flight in any situation.  It is stated that these injuries occurred in a scuffle before her death as police investigators have relayed to the press that there was an obvious and violent 'physical' fight that had occurred in Ms. Fluttershy's home.  Investigators found overturned and damaged furniture along with broken glass from windows and bottles scattered throughout the living room, dining room, and kitchen of the cottage.  Blood, feather, and hair traces of both Ms. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were found in the wreckage of all of these areas as well.

    It is greatly suspected that the murderer of Ms. Heartshine somehow entered into Ms. Fluttershy's cottage and attempted to murder at the very least, Ms. Fluttershy.

Captain Marshal, lead investigator for the police of the town of Ponyville, says that Ms. Fluttershy may have had an alibi against the killer, which is a cause for incentive to her murder.  

Ms. Fluttershy's body was found stuffed inside the top portion of her cottage chimney.  Her throat was slit, and all her blood drained at an unknown area.  There is also a reported fatal stab wound delivered in and up into Ms. Fluttershy's rib cage, and it is safely proposed that said wound was the first cause of her death.  Ms. Fluttershy's body was also found greatly damped in natural spring water.  The police believe that the killer may have washed her body of evidence to his identity in a nearby river located inside the boundaries of the Everfree forest.  The exact location of Ms. Fluttershy's death is not known, but what is known is that she was not killed inside her own home.  Instead it is thought that the murderer took her by force into the Everfree forest, possibly raped her, and delivered unto her death quickly thereafter.

The police believe that the killer is a (possibly) large, dark-blue male Pegasus of unknown origin, unknown identification, and unknown characteristics other than being dark-blue in body hue.

To all blue-furred male Pegasi over the age of fourteen (14) who live in the vicinity of Ponyville or the Everfree forest, authority agents must take you in for questioning.  If you do not cooperate when an authority calls upon you for questioning, you will be arrested on accusation for suspicion until a made case has been developed in your defense.  All individuals will only be questioned once unless evidence is given for submission of a second questioning.

If any suspicious activity is seen, please report immediately to the nearest authority agent(s).

Large squads of highly-trained guards-ponies, directed by Sir Captain Shining Armor himself, are to soon be deployed into the Everfree forest in search of the murderer of now three young mares.  When reporters questioned Sir Shining Armor on the matter of his search he responded saying, "We hope to apprehend this criminal as soon we as possibly can.  It may be likely that he is on the run now and every second passing by is a second that he may still have in his chance at escape...  He may still harm other ponies and the likelihood of him committing another murder is still high until he is apprehended or killed himself... Be cautious."

  It is unknown if the killer is targeting any other Elements of Harmony, all of whom are residences of Ponyville.

  The remaining four Elements all share a similar response of silence towards the public on this grave matter, and are currently not open for questioning from anypony at this time.  Leave them alone.

The funeral for Ms. Fluttershy and Ms. Rainbow Dash will occur on the 26th in the Ponyville town hall at 5:00 P.M.  The event will be attended by Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence of the Crystal Empire along with her husband Sir Shining Armor, and of course Princess Twilight and the remaining Elements.  

Ms. Heartshine will receive a side memorial service during the event, but her actual funeral will be celebrated in her own home town amoungst her own friends and family in private.

By Royal decree until the murderer is captured:

-A 7 P.M. curfew is in place in Ponyville, and in all nearby towns (also under martial protection) who preside near the Everfree forest.  

-Nopony is allowed to leave their homestead towns, nor enter if away.

-All schooling is cancelled until further notice.

-All children must be accounted for by parents or guardians at all times, and must not go into public alone.

-All residence must report when they are leaving their homes to go anywhere else inside town boundaries.

- (Again,) all towns on the outskirts of the Everfree forest are to be held under martial protection.  

-(Again,) all areas near the Everfree forest are to be under martial surveillance, AND are off limits to all civilians.

- (Again,) all individuals who see suspicious activity MUST report said disturbance directly to authorities.

-(Again,) all male Pegasi who are over the age of fourteen (14), and who are blue in any hue, must respond to authority when summoned for questioning.

Updates on this matter will still be published and transported to all subscribed members of 'Ponyville News', as well as citizens who are not subscribed until the killer has been apprehended.

Situation status: Murderer is still loose.
