Author's Note - This is a short chapter, BUT CAN'T be skipped! It explains chapter 1's weird Ideas and oddities with a simple concept of it being a DREAM!

Chapter 2

Rainbow Dash awoke in the middle of the night in her home in the clouds. She breathed heavily for a moment, then got up and slowly flew over to a desk and began writing. She got a great idea from her dream and wanted to write it down.

She was having writers block on ideas to tell Applejack her feelings about her. She hadn't come up with any good ideas in weeks and was about ready to give up until the idea in her dream gave her inspiration.

She had it all planned out:

Step 1 - Her and Applejack watch the Sunset.

Step 2 - Get a bucket of apples, then give Applejack a Pot of Honey to share Apples and Honey.

Step 3 - Admit Feelings.

Step 4 - Hopefully, Applejack accepts this.

Step 5 - They kiss.

It was not a perfect plan, but it was worth a try. She had to at least try. She was determined to finally admit her feelings for Applejack. She flew to the kitchen to get a warm glass of milk. After she finished it, she flew back to bed and cuddled into the sheets and blankets. She felt tomorrow would be the day she would tell Applejack her feelings.

Pinkie Pie was bouncing along the path to Sweet Apple Acres when Rainbow Dash flew by. Instantly, Pinkie ran toward her.

"Hey! Rainbow Dash! Wait up." shouted Pinkie. Rainbow, learning her lesson from "Griffon the Brush Off," she slowly descended.

"Hi, Pinkie Pie. Where ya'h headed?" asked Rainbow.

"I'm on my way to invite Applejack to a special event and...oh, that reminds me." Pinkie reached into her basket and pulled out an invitation."Since you're here, here's your invite." said Pinkie, excited as always.

"Thanks," said Rainbow, grabbing the letter, "Oh! and while you're at Sweet Apple Acres, could you take this to Applejack?" asked Rainbow, giving a letter to Pinkie.

"Of course I will. But, what's the occasion?" asked Pinkie, receiving the letter.

"It's...a secret, but I'll tell you this, If all goes according to plan, you'll be able to throw a big party at Sugarcube..." answered Rainbow before being interrupted.

"Goody, I love love love throwing parties. Well, Good Luck to you, Rainbow," said Pinkie.

"You too, Pinkie" replied Rainbow before they went their separate ways.

So, Pinkie delivered both letters and Rainbow got ready for a night she won't forget.

A Honey Happy Ending

Honey and Apples Finale - A Honey Happy Ending

Rainbow Dash was on her way to Sweet Apple Acres to watch the sunset with the mare of her dreams, Applejack. Rainbow had with her a bucket of fresh apples and a Pot of honey. When she arrived, she saw her friend finishing work for the day.

"Howdy, Rainbow. I'm almost done for today." said Applejack as she finished getting the last of a tree's apples. Rainbow was in a sort of trance as they walked toward the barn. Rainbow couldn't keep her eyes off of Applejack. She snapped back into reality when they were laying down on hay, next to each other, watching the sunset.

"Hey, Applejack. I thought while watching the sunset," Rainbow started, reaching out with the apples and honey,"we could have some honey and apples."

"Sure, Rainbow. That's sweet of ya, going outta your way to get some honey for this," said Applejack, reaching for the first apple. Rainbow blushed and grabbed an apple, too. They ate their apples, dunked in honey with a sweet taste in their mouths.

After a few minutes of sunset watching and eating apples and honey, Rainbow knew if any time was better to admit her feelings, she would miss it.

"Applejack?" said Rainbow, shaking like a leaf with nervousness.

"Yeah, sugarcube?" replied Applejack, puzzled by Rainbow's unusual nervousness; the only other time Rainbow got nervous was at the Best Young Flyer's Competition.

"There's...something I've been meaning to tell you." said Rainbow, her wings standing on end and shaking, too.

"What's that?" asked Applejack, trying to turn the wheels in her head to make sense of the situation.

"I.....I....I Love you!" Rainbow spewed out and covering herself with her wings, hoping for the best. At first, Applejack was silent and thought about what had happened.

"Actually, I love you too," said Applejack, tears forming in both ponies eyes.

"Really?" asked Rainbow, tears bigger than before. Applejack simply nodded. Applejack then leaned in and kissed Rainbow on the lips. They never backed away, never wanting it to end, tears and hugs forever. It was the best thing that ever happened to both of them. It was jut the two of them.

(Author - I'm crying too while typing this. SO BEAUTIFUL!...sniffle)

A few hours later, Twilight and Pinkie Pie walked into Sweet Apple Acres to ask to RSVP to the party they planned. They froze in place while passing the barn. They looked again, wide-eyed then teary eyed at the site of Applejack and Rainbow Dash sleeping, cuddling under the barn. They then left Sweet Apple Acres, deciding to come back tomorrow instead. Though walking home raised many thoughts among the couple, they knew that their friends were happy, no matter what.
