Honey and Apples

Author’s note: This Prologue, though it isn't completely important to the rest of the story, is a way for me to practice my storytelling skills and makes the ending make more sense. This takes place after Season 1.

Prologue

Ponyville was as lively as ever. Birds were singing, Derpy was derp-eyed; everything was normal.

Twilight and Pinkie Pie were in Twilight’s Tree; her Tree was also Her and Spike's house and a library. Twilight has wanted to talk to Pinkie about something for a while and today was the day.

“Pinkie,” Twilight said nervously. She was shaking with nervousness as if a rattlesnake was in the room.

“Yes?” Pinkie responded curiously. Pinkie had no idea what she was in for but she had something close to it on her mind.

“…I’ve been meaning to tell you something I think you should hear.” Twilight said.

“Ok” Pinkie replied.

“I…I love you, Pinkie” Twilight said while shaking like a leaf. Pinkie was silent; usually that never happens without a reason.

“Why were you so nervous, Twilight? I love you too, silly.” Pinkie happily replied.

“You do?” Twilight asked, tears in her eyes.

“Of course I do, Twilight. But...I was just...way too nervous to admit it.” Pinkie said blushing profusely.

Twilight then went over and hugged Pinkie, tears in her eyes the whole time; these were tears of joy. Pinkie just comforted her for a minute. After calming down, Twilight knew what to do next. She leaned in and kissed her. They kissed with as much passion as they ever could. It felt like fireworks went off in there mouths. They both felt better than ever had before. After they finished, they hugged and cried tears of joy, comforting each other.

Just then, “Ouch!” shouted a familiar purple and green Dragon Assistant. Spike was spying on them the whole time. The two blushed furiously and sat upright in attention as soon as the sound shook their nerves. Twilight wasn't happy.

“SPIKE! Snooping as usual I see?” Twilight said sarcastically, whipping away her tears. “But regardless, why were you spying on us?” Twilight asked, anger in her eyes.

“I…I knew the whole time and I was making sure it…uh…went well. That’s all.” Spike replied. Twilight cooled down.

“Okeydokey-Lokey,” Pinkie said happily. “Just don’t tell anybody yet, ok; we'll tell them when were ready,” Pinkie said.

“Oh alright," said Spike.

"Pinkie..."Pinkie was starting to ask him to Pinkie Pie swear but Spike was already ahead of her.

"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.” Spike Pinkie Pie Swore bluntly.

“Now what do we do?” Pinkie asked. They didn't have any ideas of doing anything until..

“How about you two take a (romantic) walk while I take care of some things here?” Spike suggested.

"Sure you don't need any help?" Twilight asked.

"#1 Assistant, Remember?" said Spike.

“All right; let’s go!” said Twilight. The two ponies said as they began their walk.

What they didn't know was that a voice was going to speak with their friend, Rainbow Dash, soon enough.
