It was a momentous day today. For today, was the day my rule, my campaign, my crusade, began. For today, I unleashed the first wave of my minions upon the helpless and pathetic inhabitants of this sorry world. After leaving the many countries in disarray with the many murders and fear I had sown, I had left them all in a daze, wondering where I was, and where I would strike next.

Yes, it was all going according to plan. I had created doubt and fear among the masses, giving me the opportunity to sneak around right under their unsuspecting noses, between and around their sorry excuses for patrols and search parties.

Thus I was within the city of the Diamond Dogs, a certain construct in front of me that would quickly grant me the power to conquer the Kingdom of the Dogs. A construct, made from pure obsidian, standing 9 meters tall and 7.2 centimeters wide, in the shape of a doorway.

With a wicked smile, I summoned a flint and steel to my hands and lit the inside of the construct ablaze. With the sound of reality tearing and then reconstructing itself, a purple, swirling portal appeared in the midst of the construct. I could feel my minions on the other side, just waiting for my command. I chuckled at this.

It was time to start the fun.

A loud rumbling shook the caverns of the mine a number of Diamond Dogs were working in. They looked around fearfully and covered their heads in preparation for a quake or cave in, but nothing happened. The rumbling stopped, and for a brief moment they thought that disaster had been averted.

Then, a wall exploded, and various undead humanoids funneled into the mine shaft, all wearing heavy plate armor and wielding bows, swords, and axes. They ranged from skeletons, to zombies, to some amalgamation of pig and human. They charged into the mine, slaughtering all of the dogs they could find.

The dogs ran away as fast as their paws could carry them, but were shot or caught by arrows. The undead spared none, killing all in their way. Only one dog escaped, and only narrowly. It was a young male, barely out of his teens. He ran and ran and ran, desperate to get away from the monsters. He had to warn others of what he had seen. Meanwhile, the leader of the aggressors watched the pup go with a wicked grin, his glowing white eyes shining in the dim of the cavern.

The doors to the throne room of the Diamond Dog monarch burst open with a slam that resounded throughout the room. In came a Dog, looking like he just got out of a fight with a Wurm Mole, startling those present in the room.

"What is the meaning of this?! The King is in the midst of a very important discussion!" came the angry cry of Angler, the Diamond Dog Advisor to King Stone Maw, who sat upon his gold and jewel encrusted throne, chiseled from rock with masterful techniques handed down from generation to generation. The King himself, bearing the armor passed from his forebears, thorned pauldrons, gauntlets, and boots and all with added cobalt lining the chestplate, shifted to look at the arrival.

"Silence, Angler. This pup appears to have survived a harrowing attack," Stone Maw turned to the intruding dog. "Come now, my subject, tell me, what happened that brought you to my throne?" Stone Maw asked, tone even yet rumbling like that of a quake.

"M-Monsters... Undead...!" The dog panted, before collapsing from his wounds, blood pooling beneath him. Stone Maw's eyes hardened at the news.

"Angler, ready a platoon and have them meet me at The Passings," Stone Maw ordered.

"My king, are you certain of this?" Angler asked, but stopped when Stone Maw gave him a look.

"I will not allow any of my subjects to die in vain. Now get that platoon ready," Stone Maw ordered. As the king marched off, Angler watched him go before rushing off himself to set about his task.

Ahh... This scent... The scent of fear... It's so intoxicating. I can't get enough of it! I laughed as I floated above my new army, high above them and near the roof of the masterfully dug out tunnels these mutts had made. Much as the dogs were unmatched with their stone cutting, I was better. After all, what mortal could compare to a god?

I laughed once more before I looked towards the large intersection of cut stone, seeing a platoon of diamond dogs in spiked armor along with just the individual I was hoping to see.

"Ah, King Stone Maw... How nice of you to greet me here. And with such fitting company, to boot," I chuckled lowly.

"Who are you? Why do you attack us?" the king called. I laughed at this.

"Such a simpleton..." I summoned a blade of diamond to my hand, twirling it expertly. "I am Herobrine, mutt. I am the Ravager of Lands, King of the Nether, and Lord of the End. I..." I pointed my blade at his head. "...Attack to conquer and destroy. Maybe a little song will help you see." I said, before beginning to sing, letting the magic of this land fuel my most beautiful song.

Human minds,

Frail and scared,

Freed by death, and death is fair,

I began, my minions crashing into the platoon like a tidal wave, all the while I danced in the air above the battle, waltzing with an unseen partner.

Hopeless souls,

Play a part,

In my wicked work of art,

I summoned a number of diamond swords, aiming them at the platoon of mutts, then launching them forwards, impaling them all on the blue blades, then maneuvering them so that they stuck into the walls of the tunnel.

Such relief,

Every time,

Taking life, to take what's mine,

I grabbed a dog and held them by the neck, smiling as I took a dagger and cut his innards out, letting a sigh escape me as I felt the sheer fear in his body dissipate into the aether.

At the end,

Here we lie,

Here we're killers or we die,

I punctuated this by pulling a dog who had slain one of my pigmen to me, and lopped his head off, tossing the head into a portal for later use.

When the world was turned to gray,

The hatred wouldn't go away,

Resentment in chains,

I summoned chains to wrap around a foolish mutt who tried to shoot an arrow at me, and tossed him into the wall hard with my magic, splattering his brains on it.

In the coldest of all hearts,

A voice descends, the light departs,

Madness remains,

For this, I laughed loudly as I threw Potions of Poison and Instant Harming on the unsuspecting dogs below.

Play the game,

Paint your scene,

Taking this to the extreme,

I moved the poison and harmful liquids from the broken bottles with my magic, making them turn into humanoid shapes only to turn back to liquid and launch at the platoon.

Masterpiece,

Dark design,

Your last moments, only mine,

I took another dog with my magical pull, once more grasping them by the neck as I gutted him, watching with glee as the light left his eyes.

It's a need,

Here in dust,

Kill the world that stole from us,

I then summoned fire around the platoon, my armies uncaring for the flames as they strode through them, their attacks setting the poor, pathetic hounds ablaze as well.

Take your place,

Let it be,

In my crimson symphony,

At the last few words, I picked yet another dog up with my magic, then ripped him apart, taking his femur bones and playing a quick tune in tandem with the sounds ringing throughout the tunnels, my song reaching the ears of any pooch nearby.

I feel it in my bones,

A need to be your god,

A need to strike you down,

I summoned lightning at this and smote a small cluster of dogs that had been back to back, fending off more than a few of my undead.

When order disappeared,

And madness took control,

The conscience in me drowned,

I poured water from buckets down on the torches, putting them out and surprising more than a few dogs as well as dimming the lights in the cavernous tunnels.

I want to be your guide,

Into the afterlife,

It's a gift, look past the pain like I do,

With those words, I grabbed two dogs and forced one of them to watch their comrade be eaten alive by my zombies, all the while I pet the living dogs head like the beast they were, before tossing him to the ground harshly, splitting his skull.

I want to see your eyes,

Just before your demise,

When only fear remains inside you,

I twirled and tossed a number of diamond blades at those below, further thinning their numbers and giving me the satisfaction of seeing them all flee or die, the life in their orbs of sight going out.

When the world was turned to gray,

The hatred wouldn't go away,

Resentment in chains,

I lashed out with hooks, chains linking them as they stabbed through the armor of multiple dogs whilst I swung them around, until finally pulling them off with my powers, placing my custom made chains back in storage at my castle.

In the coldest of all hearts,

A voice descends, the light departs,

Madness remains.

I watched with glee as the dogs fled, the king, his crown bloodied, being carried away as I laughed off the glare of hatred he shot at me.

My crusade... was going swimmingly.
