Chapter 1: Butterflies

Applejack was working her normal job bucking apples, since she was so busy clearing the apples out of the trees that he lost track of time, she was late for the sleepover at Twilight's! On her way there she was thinking of her first sleepover there, just her, Twilight, and Rarity, good times. She burst through the door when Twilight announced that they'd be getting makeover's

"Are you serious Twi, you know me, I'm way too cool to be made beautiful." Rainbow Dash said. "Oh hey A.J., didn't see you there, can you tell Twilight that makeovers aren't my thing?" Applejack's heart felt like butterflies were fluttering around, Rainbow Dash, asked her to help her? Sure Applejack know she and Rainbow were good friends, but today Applejack felt different, when Rainbow asked her, her heart skipped a beat.

"A.J. are you alright?" Rainbow asked looking into Applejack's green eyes, noticing that she was dazed.

"Oh yea, I'm sorry, I'm just a bit tired, that's all." Applejack replied. Lying was one thing and lying to her crush was another, she needed to ask Twilight if that's what the butterflies ment.

"So... are you gonna tell them not to give me a makeover?" Rainbow asked glaring at Rarity hoping that she wouldn't give her a makeover.

"Do whatever yah want, I wouldn't mind seeing you be all nice and fancy Rainbow." Applejack said.

"Oh, no, fine, fine just get it over with Rarity I don't want to stay beautiful for long." Rainbow said. In Applejack's mind she thought, But you always are beautiful. That night Applejack woke up and took out the apple cider she made earlier that day.

"Hey, Applejack, what are you doing out this late at night?" Twilight asked.

"I'm just drinking some apple cider, but I did have something to talk to you about." Applejack replied honestly.

"Of course, what is it that you need?" Twilight asked.

"Well I've been feeling butterflies in my chest when I'm near a special somepony, do you know what that means?" Applejack asked.

"Yes... It means you have a crush on that somepony." Twilight replied. "Who do you like?"

"I'd rather tell you when everyone else has left, I'm afraid somepony would hear me." Applejack said.

"You can trust me I've been awake this whole time, so who is the lucky stallion?" Rainbow Dash asked barging in on Applejack's and Twilight's conversation.

"I guess I can trust you with one fact, don't tell anypony, I don't want somepony to know." Applejack sighed. "It's not a stallion, she's a mare." Twilight's eyes opened up in surprise, and Rainbow Dash spit out her milk.

Chapter 2: Telling Twilight and Escaping Soarin

Every one of Applejack's friends left Twilight's sleepover except Applejack.

"Twilight, the mare I like is... is... Rainbow, I like - no, I love Rainbow Dash." Applejack said looking into Twilight's caring purple eyes.

"Applejack, why are you embarrassed, I'm a filly-fooler too." A voice said.

"Who said that?" Applejack asked.

"I did, nice to see you again Honesty." Princess Luna said. "You may be wondering why I'm here, because I'm picking Twilight up for a date." Princess Luna sounded sincere

"Twilight you're dating Luna?!?" Applejack said surprised

"Yes." she replied.

"I'm happy for you Twilight, but..." Applejack said.

"I know, I'm sure something will happen." Luna said.

"But Rainbow's not..." Applejack said when Luna cut her off

"Yes she is, she just doesn't know it yet." Luna said.

"So I have a chance!" Applejack said happily jumping around the room like Pinkie Pie.

"Eyup." Luna and Twilight both said. The three giggled for a while until Applejack said she needed to help Big Mac finish the chores around the farm.

Meanwhile with Rainbow...

"Soarin, you're a jerk, I hope you burn in hell!" Rainbow Dash yelled angry that he just bullied a certain Pegasus, one of her best friends Fluttershy, made her cry then started insulting everyone she knew, except the Wonderbolt's that is.

"C'mon Rainbow we're not gonna break up because of this, are we?" Soarin asked cockily because he thought he won the argument, as usual.

"I'm tired of..." Rainbow's words were cut off when Soarin kissed her. "Get off of me you psyhco-path!"

Soarin then assaulted Rainbow in ways I will not say because I'm trying to keep this as PG as possible. Rainbow managed to escape Soarin, thanks to Spitfire, but she knew that Soarin would assault her again and physically attack the next pony she'd go out with, how badly she wanted that damn' Pegasus to burn in hell. A few days later she started hanging out with Applejack a lot, then starting feeling weird around her. Rainbow Dash has had this feeling before, around Soarin when she still loved him. She had a crush on Applejack!

Chapter 3 Admittiting it to Applejack and Soarin's return to Rainbow's couch

Rainbow was afraid, how badly she wanted to tell A.J. but it just wouldn't work, she could tell Twilight, or Pinkie, other than Applejack they were the two most trustworthy friends that she had. Rainbow knocked on the door and awaited Twilight to open.

"Oh hi Rainbow, are you here for the next edition of Daring Do?" Twilight asked walking away to look in her bookshelves.

"There's are new one?" Rainbow asked. "I'll borrow it then please." Rainbow Dash said.

"You seemed like you waned something else, is there." Twilight asked. "You know I won't tell anypony if you don't want me to." Twilight Sparkle was trustworthy Rainbow Dash knew that.

"I've realized in the days after breaking up with Soarin... I'm a filly-fooler... and I like Applejack. Twilight Sparkle was'nt surprised. But she didn't seem like there was a problem to worry about.

"Why don't you care you don't look surprised or anything!" Rainbow yelled. Rainbow was furious.

"First off I am too, secondly I'm dating Luna and she told Applejack and I thst you really were a filly-fooler at heart and you would realize it soon, but I didn't know she meant... this soon." Twilight replied. "Oh yeah also... Oh god Applejack'll hate me... Applejack has a crush on you."

"Alright I'll see you later Twi!" Rainbow yelled waking away from Twilight's treehouse. Rainbow flew to Applejack's farm and knocked on the barn door when Big Macintosh opened the door. "Is Applejack here?" Rainbow Das asked

"Eyup." Big Mac replied simply. He walked away to get Applejack.

"Oh hey Rainbow what's up?" Applejack asked.

"Can we take a walk?" Rainbow asked.

"Why am I in trouble?" Applejack asked.

Into the walk

"So why did you want to take this walk?" Applejack asked.

"Well, umm, well..." replied nervously and she kissed Applejack, Applejack's emerald green eyes opened up in surprise and as enjoying the kiss Rainbow was giving her. "I'm sorry." Rainbow said. "Do you want to be m-my marefriend?" Rainbow asked.

"Yes, I do want to be your marefriend. Applejack replied. "First date at that new Mexicoltian place." Applejack said. "at 5:30 I'll make the reservations tonight, see you tomorrow." Applejack said smiling.

Rainbow flew up to her home in Cloudsdale to see a certain Pegasus on her couch.

"SOARIN GET OUT OF MY HOUSE OR I AM CALLING THE COPS!" Rainbow screamed.

"Calm down I came to give you this I'm sorry gift." Soarin said.

"Whats the..." Raibow asked then Soarin started sexually assaulted her for a second time this week.

"Enjoy yourself on this ride." Soarin said.
