Episode 1A: Blueberry Pie

Canterlot High, a bright school with bright students. While it's a place for education, it is also a place where students can find friends who they click with and form lasting memories. And thanks to one student who came from another world, they no longer just hang with people in their own group. Once they could see that they can get along despite how different they are, they made the Canterlot better then ever.

Before entering the main building, some friends waited for each other in front of the horse statue. A statue, unknowing many except to a happy few, which is a open and shut door way to a world. A world, that is a home to a very special friend. Once the students met the people they were waiting for, they quickly rushes indoors and continue making memories in school.

Everyone was happy, except for Adagio. Seeing all the happy student, smiling and not worshiping her, made her angrier and angrier. Seeing everyone was just fuelling her raging fire of revenge inside of her. However, she knows that she must be calm and must be patient. She and her siren sisters can no longer spread anger and mistrust anymore and no longer manipulate the students. In order to get what she wanted, just must play it cool and must play along as a student. However, she can't do anything and looked back to see her sister was falling far behind her.

"Will You Hurry Up!" she cried out load. "They are gunna punish us if we'll be late.

"I'M COMING!" Aria shouted infuriating and she managed to catch up to Adagio. Sonata wasn't that far behind her. Even though she wasn't all that bothered on the outside. But on the side, she was as confused as Aria as to why they're there. Aria asked the obvious question of:

"Why are even coming back her to this stupid school. The people here doesn't want to see us as much as I don't want to see them or this place."

Adagio felt like that she want to slap her subordinate for not thinking the same why as her. However, she understand that this would be a confusing decision to make. So she calmly explains:

"Like it or not, but we lost the remaining magic that we had to those..."

"And who's fault is that?" Aria asked, implying that it's Adagio's fault.

"TO THOSE MEDDLING RAINBOOMS!" Adagio yelled back, trying her best to not to hit her. Instead, she got up close, eye to eye, with a finger twitching at her. Even though they want to express their anger to one another, they can't be bothered to move their fight to physical. They backed off and Aria let Adagio continue explaining her plan.

"This school still has Equestrian magic so there is still a chance to get our powers back. And I heard the last time we were here that there is a portal her to get back to Equestria."

"Wait! There was a portal to Equestria!? HERE!?!" Aria shouted in surprise. This even got the attention of Sonata.

Adagio asked: "Remember the purple singer of the Rainbooms?" and her underlings begrudging remembers. "Apparently, she's a princess from Equestria and she has a portal to come her and back."

"Well what are we waiting for?" Sonata called out. "Lets go to that portal and go back home."

"Think for a second, idiot" Aria talked back

"It takes an idiot to know an idiot, aria" Sonata argued back, thinking she said a good insult.

Nothing anybody said was stating Aria's rage. However, she had plenty of time to learn to control it. "Think! We know where the portal is all along, then why did we spent the last several month laying low?" Aria waited for Sonata answer, but thought that she would never get it. She was about to give the answer, until Sonata replied:

"Because we don't know where it is?" Sonata answered/asked, wasn't sure that it was the right answer.

Adagio and Aria was left speechless by Sonata's sudden smartness. Even though it was rare, they do have times where Sonata isn't a complete idiot. However, this often leads to them becoming angrier and Aria was about to loose control of her's" But fortunately for Sonata, Adagio's hold her back. Once she was less angry, Adagio let her go and then asked her:

"Ok, but what made you think that they are happy to us now?"

That question actually lighten Adagio a little bit. "Apparently, they can't expel you if you try to mind control the student body with magic."

"Really!" Aria asked amusingly, finally hearing something to lighten her mood.

"Yeah. The people here don't believe in magic. Sunset did the same thing and they didn't expel her" Adagio reiterate. Even though she said the person that they hated the most, the sirens couldn't help but to laugh at that fact.

Once they finish laughing and catching their breath, Adagio told them: "Hurry up. We can't be late."

"Fine" Aria replied, returning back to her usual mood. Even though she didn't like it or continue following under Adagio, but she now understand what they're doing there.

As they were heading indoors, Sonata skipped in front of them and gleefully state: "I don't know about you, but I actually don't mind coming back here." As they are shocked and puzzled on why she would said that, Sonata explains: "I actually think the food her are pretty good. And better yet, they serve it for FREE!"

"We know that Sonata" Adagio complains, "That's one of the reasons why we should come back. We can no longer pay for your eating habits."

Getting upset, Sonata argues: "I don't have a eating habit! I just really like their food here. And besides, I sometimes get all that food so I can cook for the two of you."

"Yeah, but your cooking is terrible . Most of your food that you made tastes awful" Aria retorted.

"Hey! You Two Never Tried My Cooking!" Sonata rebutted.

Before they could fight any longer, Adagio broke them up and told Sonata: "Listen! We aren't here to taste all the food in the world. We are here... TO GET BACK HOME! Aria understand this so why can't you? So stop being an idiot and focus."

"Will you guys stop calling me an idiot" Sonata yelled back frustratingly. "Just because that I like some stuff here doesn't make me an idiot."

"No... you're an idiot because you miss the surprisingly obvious" Aria stated.

She tried to argue back, but she could only make out a: "But..." before Adagio stopped and explains:

"No! She's right. While we always trying to do something important, you would always be in your own little world and focus on the most stupid, useless things. You're an idiot and you must be smart enough to realize that."

Hearing all those mean words struck a cord within Sonata. She knows that she isn't the brightest siren, but she feels like that she tries and thinks she made it up in different ways that can help them. But hearing her closest and only family say how useless they think she were broke her heart. She tried her hardest to not to cry, but she was couldn't hide her tears or stop from wheezing.

Adagio and Aria couldn't stand seeing Sonata like this. To make her stop, Adagio told her: "Ok, if you want to prove that your not an idiot, why don't we split up." Sonata was confused about what she means and Aria was curious on what she's on about. Adagio explains: "We'll split up. Me and Aria find the portal our way and you find the portal your way and see who can find it first. If you can find the portal before us, then we won't call you an idiot."

Sonata eagerly called out: "DEAL!" She then rushes up the front door and cried out: "And If I Win, I Can Cook Everyone's Food For The Next Two Weeks!" before she run inside.

Before she could run too far away, Adagio yelled out: "Just Don't Do Anything To Get Us Into Trouble!"

"Nice work Adagio" complimented Aria. "Now we can no longer listen to the idiot."

"And that's why I'm the leader" Adagio replied as she walked menacingly inside. However, the mood was ruined when Aria asks:

"Then how come we no longer have our powers?"

Sometime later, the hallway became filled with rustling teenager moving about. Some were heading straight to their next class while others were taking their time and doing whatever they want before the next bell ring. And amongst these students, Rainbow Dash come across Sunset Shimmer by her locker. She wanted to struck up a conversation, but she could see that Sunset was getting a few stuff from her locker. And one of those things in particular was a very special book with a sun pattern on it which they use to communicate with a very special friend that's far, far away. However, when she closed her locker, Sunset was greeted by an unexpected third friend.

"Hi Ya Sunny!" says Pinkie Pie who loudly greeted her friend.

"AAAH!" screamed Sunset in an unexpected surprise and dropped all of her things. Once she was calmed down, she picked up the things that she dropped and told Pinkie: "Don't scare me like that. You're as bad as your sister."

As Pinkie helped pick up Sunset's stuff, she replied: "Oh, you mean Maud. Yeah, she can be really sneaky."

Once she got all of her stuff off from the floor, Sunset began ripping away the dust that was on the really important book.

"Hey! Is that the book we can use to communicate with Twilight?" Pinkie asked when she recognize the book.

"It sure is" replied Sunset as she became sure that it was safe. But then she explains: "And it's a good thing that it's still in one piece, or else in might not work any more"

"Oh My Gosh!" cried Pinkie as she process that horrified thought. "If that happens... then everyone will..."

"Calm down" says Sunset as she stops a panicking Pinkie. "No one will hold it over you if it was by an accident."

As Pinkie calmed down, Rainbow appeared beside her, rapped an arm around her and says: "Yeah... Though they will be mad at first, but eventually they will get over it... maybe... I don't know?... I mean, I would probably won't... or maybe I will?

"Rainbow Dash!" yelled Sunset in frustration. "That isn't funny."

As Rainbow was chuckling, she could see that Pinkie's eyes were spinning. Still half laughing, she snapped Pinkie out of it and told her: "Don't worry Pinkie. Nobody can hold a grudge forever." Once she said that, Pinkie was finally relaxed and smiles.

Once everyone was settled, all of them began walking down the hallway.

"So... When do you think our new gig is?" enquire Pinkie. "I realize that we haven't been practicing for quite a while."

"Yeah... about that" replied Rainbow as she was about to bring some bad news.  "I think we'll stop being a band for a while."

"WHAT!" yelled Pinkie.

"Relaxed Pinkie. We're not splitting it up for good" explains Rainbow Dash. "We'll come back together if we want to perform concert or a contest or whatever. It's just that we can't be a band and do all our other stuff at the same time."

"Oh! Ok" replied Pinkie who sounds ok about it. "Now that you mentioned it, I haven't made enough parties then I wanted to."

"At very least, it gives me enough time to finish all of my assignments" says Sunset who sounds relief. "My teachers is currently giving me way too much homework for me to handle."

"Yeah" Rainbow Dash agrees. "My history teacher wants me to do a 10 page book report on the worlds leaders."

"Really? Oh, I Know!" replied Pinkie who had an idea. "Why Not Have A Homework Sleepover!"

When Rainbow and Sunset looked at her blankly until they look at each other and Sunset goes: "Alright. Sounds like a good idea" and Rainbow agrees.

"WooHoo!" yelled Pinkie as she jump in the air.

"I'll call up Fluttershy and Applejack. Not only are they good at history and biology, but I'm sure that they have other assignments that they are having trouble with" explains Rainbow.

"Yeah! Homework Party At My House!" scream Pinkie in excitement.

"Why is at your house?" enquire Sunset. "Why not at my house? Not do I have all lot more books there, but I think you all haven't came to my place before."

"Yeah, but it will be so much more fun at my house" Pinkie argued that made Sunset and Rainbow stop walking. Without noticing that they stop, she continue to argue: "Not only did we stock up our fridge with apple cider, but I also got a new speaker system from Vinyl so we can listen to awesome music while we work."

"Um... Pinkie" Sunset called out to get Pinkie's attention. "They all sound nice..." she told her, but then asked: "... But how do they help us study?"

"What do you mean Sunset?" enquire Pinkie.

Sunset explains: "Sure, some people might work better if they are enjoying something around them like music, but it could also be too distracting and they just won't focus on the work. Just look at Rainbow Dash right now."

When Pinkie looked at Rainbow Dash, she notice how much of a daze that she's in. Rainbow's leaned up as if she was looking into her own imagination. She was also uncontrollable drooling a little bit and was muttering: "Apple Cider." Fortunately, Sunset snapped her out of her day dream before she could embarrass herself even more.

Once she ripped the drool off her face, Rainbow added: "Thanks Pinkie, but she's right. You might be really great at parties, but we really need to study hard if we really want to get the work done."

"What!" yelled Pinkie, sounded like she was offended. "Are you saying I'm not smart enough to study hard?"

"What!" yelled Sunset, who was afraid that they might upset her. "No, we're not trying say that at all. Are we Dash?" When they look as Rainbow Dash again, they could clearly see that she didn't mean that, swiping her arms side to side and looking worried.

"Well... ok" replied Pinkie who believes them. "It just that you sounded like that I'm not very smart."

"We would never say that... or even imply that" says Sunset who was trying to comfort her. "Hey, we still like your slumber party idea. We'll all meet up after school and we can even go to your house."

"No... That's ok" replied Pinkie who was feeling depress. However, when she realized that she's depressed, she pretend that she's feeling better for her friends and told them: "Besides, I really want to see what your house looked like."

"That's the spirit" says Rainbow Dash as she and Sunset thinks that she's better.

Then suddenly, the bell rang so their time is up. "Oh shoot" Sunset says loudly by the surprise. "We have to see you later Pinkie. I may have change from the old me a long time ago, but the only thing that hasn't changed is my tardiness record." As she and Rainbow Dash began running down the hall, she yelled: "We'll meet at the cafeteria at lunch time."

And as the both was about to run around a corner, Rainbow Dash added: "And Don't Forget To Bring The Cider!"

"Will Do!" yelled Pinkie in reply. But as soon as they turned the corner and there wasn't any other student in sight, Pinkie finally shows how upset she was feeling. However, she decided that she won't be feeling like that for long and loudly proclaims to herself: "I Won't Let This Get Me Down!"

Some time later, Pinkie Pie arrived at the library. She recalled that she been in the library before, but she can't remember when. So that gives her a reason to be amazed and says: "Wow" to see how many books there is.

"Hello Pinkie" says a voice to welcome her. When Pinkie wondered who said that, she looked to her sides and was pleasantly surprised when she see Cheerilee by the librarian counter. "Are you here for a book?"

"I'm sure am Ms Lee" replied Pinkie as she let her excitement to take control of her voice.

"SHH! You're in a library."

"Oopsie... Sorry" apologized Pinkie who was much quieter.

"And it's Miss, not Ms. I've never been married"

"Oops... Sorry again.

As Pinkie walked over to the counter, Cheerilee asked her: "So Pinkie, which book would you liked to...

But then, Pinkie interrupted her and says: "But its really unbelievable that you never been married. I mean, you're a good looking woman."

"Why... Thanks Pinkie" replied Cheerilee who liked the compliment.

But then Pinkie added: "But then why wouldn't a guys asked you already? Like... Whenever you find a guy, they would leave you the when relationship is about to get serious?"

With her mood ruined, Cheerilee told her: "Thank you Pinkie. That's quite enough."

"I mean really. Why would a guy..."

"Pinkie!" quietly yelled Cheerilee. "That's Quite Enough!"

"Oh! Sorry" replied Pinkie Pie as she realized what she been doing. "I said something stupid, didn't I."

"No" replied Cheerilee with a hint of sarcasm. But then, she realized that Pinkie was honestly feel regretful about what she said. Hoping to make her feel better, she asked: "Hey... is there a book that you want to get?" very sincerely.

Snapped out of her downer mood, Pinkie replied "Oh yeah!" before being politely shushed. "Me and my friends are gunna have a study session after school and we would really need a lot of books to help us."

"Ok... so what sort of books do you need?" she enquired. "Do you need math, history, biology...?"

"Ooh... we would be tackling a lot of different subject so we would probably need all of the subjects."

"Ok... just look for the sign for the subject that you want." As Pinkie was about to start her search, Cheerilee then told her: "Just remember that you have a limit to how many books you can check out at a time."

Pinkie Pie was then off on her search, checking each shelf for the books that she needs. Eventually, she got all of the books that she wants and she believes that they are the ones that her friends need. However, before she would go to the counter, she thought that she would read them first before checking them out. She thought that she would impress her friends by already knowing the facts that they need. So instead, she sat by the computers and began reading them.

However, as soon as she started reading, Pinkie found the book really, really boring. She knew that studying isn't a fun thing to do (for many), but she found it more boring then she expected. Whenever she needs to learn something, she would ask her sisters or her friends to teach her the subject. Pinkie never studied on her own before and she was having trouble to be engaged into it. However, was determined to go through with what she's doing and try her best to memorise the thing that she's reading.

However, as Pinkie was failing to remember the thing she's reading, she suddenly heard the girl next to her who was also having the same problem.

"Oh My Gosh! This is so boring" yelled the girl who Cheerilee then yelled back:

"Quiet! This Is A Library!"

Without looking away from her book but wasn't actually reading, Pinkie whispered to the girl: "You find reading boring too?"

"Didn't I just say that?" the girl replied.

"I guess you did" replied Pinkie. She then enquire: "What book are you reading?"

"It's about a group of kids that got sent to another world that it's a winter wonderland. I think it's called "The Chonics Of Nar-Nia.""

"The Chronicle Of Narnia! I'm not sure how good the book is, but I really like the movie."

"I that what this book is. Well... the movie is defiantly better then this thing."

"Yeah... Though I know that there's people who think it's the other way around."

"Well those people are silly."

Pinkie couldn't help but laugh at that and she was really liking the conversation she was having with her. "Hey... I really like you. My name is Pinkie Pie. What's yours?" she asked as she put her book down and look to see who the girl looks like.

"Hi, my name is Sonata" as she put her book down and look towards Pinkie.

When Pinkie and Sonata looked at each other, it took them a minute but they soon recognize each other. And once they did, they were defiantly surprised to see one another.

"YOU!" the girls shouted in unison at each other as they shot up from their chairs. Cheerilee tried to shush them, but they were too surprised to hear her.

"What Are You Doing Here?" yelled Pinkie as her anger was about to be released.

"I'm Here To Find Out What A Portal Looks Like!" yelled Sonata in retaliation.

"Not Under My Watch You..." replied Pinkie as she was thinking on dragging her out. However, when she finally heard the words Sonata told her, her anger slowly be replaced with confusion as she ask her: "Wait... What was that?"

Falling back into a slump, Sonata turned back to her to flick some pages and explains: "I'm trying to find the portal which Adagio and Aria is looking for, but I don't know what a portal looks like. I thought I would find out here, this place with a lot of books, but can't find anything that helps me... and they're really boring."

Curios and slowly becoming concerned, Pinkie sat back down and asks: "If you are having so much trouble, why not ask your friends for help."

"Oh No" replied Sonata strongly, who wasn't happy to be reminded of her "friends." "They think I'm a complete idiot and thinks the only thing I cares about is food."

"Yeah... I can relate to that" Pinkie commented, feeling like she was going through a simular situation. She knows that her friends don't see her as an idiot and she isn't dumb, but does feel the least brightest member of the group.

But then, as she was feeling pity for the both of them, Pinkie began hearing munching sounds coming from Sonata. When she look and see what she was eating, she saw her holding a colourful pink cupcake.

"Hey, where did you got that cupcake" Pinkie asked curiously.

"Hm... I got it from my bag" Sonata replied, thinking that's what she meant.

"No! I mean where did you bought it from?" she reiterate.

"Oh! I got it from it from a place called Sugar Cube Corner. It's not really a giant sugar cube though."

"Oh My Gosh!!!" Pinkie yelled surprise. "I Work At Sugar Cube Corner! I Make My Special Cupcakes There."

"What!"

"You Are Eating My Cupcake!"

"Oh My Gosh! Your Cupcakes Are The Best Cupcakes That I Ever Had!"

"You Mean It!?"

"Totally!" Sonata replied before both girls began squealing in excitement and joy. They were so load and high pitch, Cheerilee had to cover her ears but it still couldn't help.

Once they stopped, Pinkie asked Sonata: "Hey, want to come and meet my friends?"

"OK!" she replied excitingly.

The girls grabbed their bags and rushes out of the library, Pinkie pulling her by the hand. Cheerilee went to the place they were sitting and see all the books that they left behind. Cheerilee loves being a teacher, but didn't like being the school's librarian.

Some time later, it was lunch time and most of the students were eating at the cafeteria. After she got her vegetarian meal, Sunset Shimmer just looked at all of the students and could see how much things has changed. The rocker teens was with the fashionistas and the drama club. The eco-kids was chatting with the techies and even the jocks was with the other nerds. When she ruled the school, Sunset couldn't even imagine the groups would hang together. This was clear evidence of the magic of friendship. And speaking of friends, Sunset could see Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy at their usual table.

"So that's the plan" says Rainbow Dash who was finishing explaining things to Fluttershy. "We'll all meet up after school and Sunset will show us where she lives."

"That sounds great Rainbow" replied Fluttershy. "But do you think Sunset would have enough room for all of us."

"Don't worry Fluttershy" Sunset answered as she took her seat. "I have enough space for everyone."

"Well that's good" Fluttershy replied. It took them a second to realize that Sunset had arrived, but the both was happy to see her and was about to dig into their meals

However, before even Sunset could take her first bite, Rarity and Applejack appeared as they rushed over to them with great urgency. They were startled to see them arrived like this while AJ and Rarity were catching their breaths.

"Guys!" yelled AJ once she finally caught her's. "You'd Never Believe What We Found Out!" she asked in a panic.

"Does it have something to do with the sirens?" Sunset answered as she didn't know how to feel. Sunset had a blank expression, but the news did shocked Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash

And apparently she was right as Rarity and Applejack looked baffled at each other. They found out something really important and something that need to be concerned about, but they did not like that their friends had already figured out without they even need their help?

With her pride dented: Rarity asked her: "How'd you know?"

Sunset didn't know how to explain it to them. She could try, but she found it to surprising to be put into words. All Sunset could do was point towards something behind AJ and Rarity and let her friends find out for themselves. When everyone looked around, they all see a startling seen of Pinkie Pie happily bringing and equalling excited Sonata towards them.

"Hey Guys! I Made A New Friend!" yelled an eager Pinkie.

All of Pinkie friends strongly believes that she isn't an idiot. She might say and do things without thinking and might not be able to read the room, but they find this extremely dim-witted; Bringing one of their enemies to them. They figured that she was thinking that she had befriended one of them and thinks that she can redeem her, but they believes that they should be cautious about it.

Once Pinkie Pie and Sonata finally arrived at the table, a crossed Rainbow Dash asked: "PINKIE! What Do You Think Your Doing!?"

Without picking up that her friends were upset with her, Pinkie explains: "I met her in the library and her name is Sonata."

"Hello" greeted Sonata to everyone.

"At first, we didn't like to see each other. But then we found out that we have a lot of things in common."

"I find out that she makes my favourite cupcakes."

"And I found out that we like all the same movies."

"Don't forget music" Sonata reminded.

"And we are really funny."

As the two girls were shearing joke and was having a little chuckle, everyone else was weirded out by the conversation. To them, it was like they were seeing two Pinkie Pies.

However, Rainbow Dash quickly asked the important question: "Hang On! How are you still here? Did you sirens got kicked out or something?"

Pinkie and Sonata stopped laughing so Sonata can explain: "Apparently, you can't get expelled from school if you use magic to take over the school."

Everyone just left speechless by that revelation because it surprisingly made sense. They all remembered how Sunset didn't got expelled and couldn't remember if they ever got told why. It all made sense to them now.

Pinkie then told everyone: "Anyway. Sonata had a bit of a falling out with her siren friends and I though she can hang with us."

The girls looked at each other and see who was gunna talk to Pinkie. They all didn't like the idea and was very doubtful, but they could see that Pinkie was clearly excited and Sonata appeared to be a nice girl. But however and somewhat expectedly, Sunset Shimmer was the one who was gunna talk with her.

Sunset got up from her seat, got over to pinkie and talked softly enough so Sonata might not hear them. "Pinkie, don't you think you might be rushing it a little bit."

"What do you mean?" Pinkie replied.

Sunset elaborated: "We know how excited you are about making new friends, but remember, she's a siren. You know: she's one of the people tried to spread hate around the school and almost tore us apart."

"Yeah... but she said that she'd changed since then" Pinkie tried to rebuke.

"But Pinkie... just because she said that she changed doesn't mean that she has."

But then, Sunset realized how hypocritical she just sounded. Out of anybody in the school, the person who knows how hard redemption is should be her. When she looked at her other friends, she could see how shocked and appalled they are at her. It was so shocking, even every other student in the cafeteria stopped what they were doing and just gave angry looks at Sunset.

Instantly regretful in her choice of words, Sunset turned back to Pinkie and asked: "Well... Is she at least sorry about what she done?"

"Sorry? What's that?" Sonata overheard and asked out load.

Shocked that Sonata didn't know what sorry means, Applejack had to explain to her: "Ya know... sorry. As in yer regretful about what ya done and ya want to make up for it."

Still confused, Sonata then asked: "What did I do?"

Shot up from her chair in frustration, Rainbow Dash explains: "How about when you and your other freaky sirens tried to take over the school and try to steal all of our magic."

"Hey, Don't Look At Me! It Wasn't My Idea! It Was All Adagio's Idea!" she replied, trying to push her blame away from her.

The girls slump over their seats as they gave up in frustration. However, Fluttershy proposed: "Wait... If everything was Adagio's idea, then does it mean that you didn't wanted to be evil? You just went along because you were pressured or forced to do it by your friends?" When Fluttershy said that, they all turned back to Sonata and was curious if that what happened.

Unfortunately, her answer quickly dashed their new found hopes. "Not really. I went along because I wanted my full powers back."

Everyone then gave their disappointed looks at Pinkie and even a bit embarrassed about it. "Ok... she might still need a bit of work" Pinkie begrudgingly admitted. But still determined, she swung her arm around Sonata and proclaims: "But don't worry, I can still help her."

"Pinkie" muttered Sunset who was growing more worried and concerned. "Do you know how hard it is to reformed someone?"

For a second, Pinkie thought about what Sunset told her, However, she came out to different conclusion then what Sunset expected.

"Hang On! You Don't Think I Can Do IT! You think I'm too dumb to do anything" Pinkie angrily told them.

"What!" Sunset said off-guard. "What made you think of that?"

"No No, it's ok. I'll just show you how smart I really am and show Sonata what it really means to be a friend."

"Pinkie!" Rainbow yelled.

However, Pinkie just ignore her and she and Sonata began walking away. "Come on, Sonata. Lets find somewhere else where we can have our lunch."

"Ok" she replied. Although she was happy to go with pinkie, but she was still disappointed that they won't be with pinkie's other friends.

When they left them, Sunset just stood there while her and everyone else remained in silence. They haven't seen Pinkie this upset since (old) Sunset gave all of them false texts and emails. All of them was left with the question: "What did we do to Pinkie Pie?" But both Sunset and Rainbow might have an idea on what it would be about.

Much later, school was over and the students do whatever they like before they return home. Some remained for their after school clubs. Most of the other students however was hanging around the town, either shopping, meeting friends around the town's monuments or eating at cafés or restaurants.

Usually, Pinkie and her usual friends would meet up a Sugar Cub Corner and do their thing there. But since she still didn't want to see them, Pinkie wanted to go somewhere else with Sonata. Instead, they went to a place Sonata knows.

In between Canterlot High. and Ponyvile suburbs, they lies Cloudsdale Mall. It's a triple floor shopping centre and like the Equestria's counterpart, it has a Greek theme. It's a usual place for teenagers that is filled with stores for any interests. Rarities Boutique is not too far off from it. And one other establishment that is nearby is the place where Pinkie Pie and Sonata went to; "Pop Star Bar."

It's a karaoke bar where a few teens might hang. The food is more then decent and they didn't cut any expenses for their stage equipment and special effects. It isn't thee place where teens usually hang, but has more then enough costumers to make a profit. It's also the place where Vinyl Scratch works.

Inside, the place was filled with costumers and no short supply for karaoke volunteers. It wasn't completely full, but there was no empty table.  And out in the corner with still a clear view of the stage, Pinkie Pie and Sonata had just got their order of a big bowl of onion rings. Within the first few second of digging in, Pinkie could notice that Sonata was savouring the rings longer in her mouth and clearly enjoying the food more then her.

"You really like onion rings. Don't ya" commented Pinkie.

"Not exactly" she replied. "I like all food from your world. Italian, Asian, Mexican, European, you name it." Sonata then explains: "Before we got banished, I mainly just eat the hatred from ponies. When we got here and have to fit in, we started eating stuff with out mouths. Aria and Adagio didn't think much of it, but I just LOVE tasting food now. It's what I like most in this world."

"Cool" Pinkie replied. "Hey, if you like food so much, have you ever thought about cooking?"

"Oh I have" Sonata answer, but then reminded something depressing. "But whenever I tried cooking, no body ever wants to try my food."

Feeling sorry, Pinkie sympathetically told her: "Don't worry. I'll try your cooking."

"Do you really mean it?"

"Of Course! That's what friends do."

Overflowing with joy and leaking tears, Sonata told her: "Thank you Pinkie. You are way nicer then both of our friends."

Once, she said that, she accidently reminded Pinkie of her friends and fell into a slump. When Sonata realized the she was looking sad, she asks: "What's wrong?"

"Oh... it's nothing." Pinkie lied. "It just that... Even though they think I'm not that smart, I still call them my friends."

Sonata looked perplexed and asked: "Why?"

Pinkie pushed back her sad emotions and then explains to Sonata: "Sure... we may fight sometimes, but we always get over it. Thee bestest of friends always stick together after the meanest of arguments. We went through nearly a year of fighting before we made up. And Now We're Better Then Ever!"

"Wow! That's really interesting" Sonata commented.

But then, before either of them could take another onion ring, the manager appeared on stage. The guy was slight tall, slight overweight man with grey skin like Derpy and with a brighter grey suit. He takes his job and his establishment very seriously, so he try everything he can to attract more costumers.

"Welcome Ladies And Gentlemen And Thanks For Coming!" the manager loudly greeted his audience. "Tonight, We Are Having Duet Singers For Our Usual Karaoke Night! So If There Is Two Good Friends Who Want To Come On Stage To Sing Their Hearts Out, Raise Your Hands And Yell How Much You Want To Sing!"

The room then became filled with loud noises and commotion to the people who want to sing. Not everyone wanted to sing though as there were plenty of people who just want to sit and watch. That discourages the manager a little bit, but could clearly see the people who does want sing scatter about.

However, the person that he really takes notice was Pinkie who was the loudest and the most hypoactive.

"ME! ME! I MEAN US! PICK US! WE WANT TO SING! PICK US!" screamed Pinkie at the top of her lung.

"Well I Guess I Know Who Is Our First Singers Of The Night, Ladies And Gentle!" proclaims the manager who made his decision. "You Two Girls In The Back There! COME ON DOWN!"

The crowd began cheering and clapping Pinkie and Sonata to get down to the stage. However, just as Pinkie was about to rush on stage, Sonata grabbed her and stop her from going.

"What's the matter Sonata?" asked a concerned Pinkie.

"Pinkie..." replied Sonata who was both embarrass and hesitant. And then she stated: "... I can't sing."

"WHAT!" yelled Pinkie In surprise. "But You Sang At The Battle Of The Bands!... And You Were Great!"

"Yeah... but when our gems got destroyed, we lost our ability to sing good. I'm Terrible Now!"

Just as Sonata was about to feel sad for herself, Pinkie had already came up with a good counterargument:

"Don't worry about it. It's karaoke. It's ok to sing terribly."

"You mean it"

"Yeah!... Now Come On!"

It took for a second for her to think about it, but Sonata became brave enough to do it. She happily got up and then both of them got on stage. Pinkie spotted Vinyl and yelled to her:

"Scratch The Record, Vinyl!"

On cue, Vinyl picked a random record track and began playing the music. The song that was playing was: "The Perfect Night For Fun!" But obviously, it's instrumental so the girls can sing the lyrics.

Pinkie started to sing first because Sonata was a little bit hesitant. She was great, as usual, and the audience was really digging her performance. However, when Sonata started singing, she was as bad as she let on. Some words didn't came out clear, pitch going up and down and the crowd was definitely finding it as a sour taste. She was about to be discourage enough to stop. However, seeing how excited Pinkie was and how happy she was singing with changed her mind. When Sonata decided to stay, her singing grew a bit more tolerable and was starting to enjoy her self. Long enough to make it to the end.

If this was an actual episode, there will be a montage her while the girls would be singing. And in that montage, it would show all the things Pinkie and Sonata would do in the week.

In the gym class, everyone was running laps around the track field. Pinkie Pie accidentally tripped and fall, but Sonata was with her to pick her up. Rainbow Dash witness this and was intrigued on how things were going.

During the home cooking class, Pinkie and Sonata partnered together and was cooking chocolate muffins together. However, after they finish cooking in the oven, they inexplicably exploded and covered the girls. However, they wasn't bothered. Instead, they decided to eat the chocolate off each other. Applejack and Rarity was also there and managed to protect themselves from the explosion. When they saw them eating the chocolate off one another, they couldn't help to be glad for them. And then they notice that Granny Smith wasn't so fortunate about to explosion.

At some point in the week, Sonata and Pinkie come across a photo booth. They grinned at each other before they rushed inside. However, once they were inside, they discovered it was out of order. Just as they were about to be depressed about it, Pinkie came up with a clever idea on using their phones. They still posed in the booth and they took their pictures by themselves. They eventually left the booth and giggle about the experience.

When the montage would be over, it went back to Pinkie and Sonata as they were finishing their song. When they were finished, the crowd applauded them as they find the whole performance not that bad. As the audience were applauding them, Sonata got so over joyed and that she hugged Pinkie. And off in the distance, Sunset was secretly watching them and she was happy for them.

Days later, it was early morning and school was about to start again. As the students were making their way inside, Pinkie Pie and Sonata was taking their time as both of them was eating their hands full of snacks and candy. When either of them finish a packet, they would left the rapper on the ground. However, when they were about to walk off, a loud and stern voice yelled at them.

"PICK THOSE UP!" yelled the booming voice at them.

Pinkie and Sonata was startled and look around to see who shouted at them. When they found out who it was, they was happy to see it was Vice Principal Luna.

V.P Luna told the two: "School policy does not include littering. So pick them up and dispose of them properly."

The two looked around before Sonata stated: "But... their isn't any trash cans around here."

However, Luna replied to them: "Then keep hold of them until you find one."

Once they begrudgingly picked up all their rubbish, Luna felt good enough to leave them alone. Once she was gone, Pinkie and Sonata began their venting.

"Wow... She is so uptight" commented Sonata.

"Tell me about it" Pinkie agreed.

Sonata looked at all of their rubbish that they were holding and asked: "Do we really have to carry all this trash around until we find a trash can?"

When she see how annoyed Sonata was, Pinkie decided to do something that was a bit naughty. She looked all around them and check to see if there wasn't any witnesses. Once she could see that there weren't any, Pinkie got up close to Sonata and whispered:

"Will you keep a secret?"

"Stick a cupcake in my eye" Sonata promised... as she literally sticked a cupcake in her eye... and then eat it.

Pinkie then took Sonata in front of the house's statue... where the portal was. Pinkie then knocked on the glass to see if it's open. And to her fortunate surprise, it was. She then took the trash off of Sonata and chuck all of it through the portal.

Amazed, Sonata commented: "Wow! That. Was. AMAZING! What is that?"

"Yeah... it's a special "trash can" that I sometimes use" Pinkie sarcastically remarked.

"Can I use it sometimes?"

"Well... I don't know?"

"Please!" she loudly begs.

She was hesitant about it, but Pinkie eventually told her: "Ok, sure you can. We're true friends after all."

"Thanks Pinkie!" Sonata replied. She was so happy, she wrapped an arm around Pinkie and hugged her tightly. Pinkie was really appreciated it as she returned the hug. Once they were done, they began to run inside and make it to their lessons before the bell.

Later, before school could be over, Sonata was at her locker to get her stuff. When she decided to admire herself with the mirror inside her locker, she notice that there were people behind her. When she quickly turned around, she was surprised to see who it was.

"Hello Sonata" greeted Adagio with Aria right beside her. "We missed you."

Episode 1C: Blueberry Pie

After setting her stuff in her locker to be picked up at another day, Fluttershy gleefully shuts her locker and began making her way to meet up with her friends. Over the past few days, everyone had kept a watchful eye on Pinkie Pie and witness how well she was getting along with Sonata. Even before Pinkie began telling the stuff they have been up to, they actually become more then willing to let Sonata hang with them. Fluttershy had never seen what Pinkie and Sonata done for herself, but she had heard many good things and she never found Sonata all that scary. Suffice to say that she was really looking forward to getting to know Sonata.

However, as she was walking down the halls with much anticipation, Fluttershy noticed Sonata down a separate hallway and was frighten to see the other sirens were with her. She could see Adagio and Aria with gleefully intimidation while Sonata looks like she wasn't happy to see them. Fluttershy was too nervous to get involved. But instead of telling the others, she decided to hide around the corners and keep watch on the situation.

"What do you want Adagio?" Sonata asked, not really happy to see her "friends" that she spent so much with.

"Why do you have to be like that?" Adagio replied, trying to sound friendly. "We're just here to congratulate you."

Sonata couldn't helped it but she became intrigued. "What do you mean by that?" she enquired hesitantly.

"What are you talking about? You managed to get yourself into Sunset's little clique of friends and trying to convince them to tell you where the portal is. That is really ingenious" Adagio explains who actually sounds like she was genuinely proud of her.

"Really!" Sonata replied.

Aria even remarks: "I hate to admit it, but you were really good. If we tried to pull the same trick, I bet we wouldn't get very far. But you... You managed to pull it off."

Never before had Adagio and Aria gave such kind compliments to her. They had just used her to help get what they all want and berate whenever she said something stupid. However, Sonata couldn't forget what they said to her before they parted ways and wants to test them so see if they mean it.

"So... are you sorry for what you said to me?"

And just then, Aria's and Adagio's kind demeanour crumbled as Sonata had said a word that they have never heard before. Aria asked: "Sorry? What's that... a food."

Using the stuff that she learned to the test, Sonata explains: "Sorry is a word which someone says if they are regretful about their actions. You know, like... you should say sorry for calling me an idiot."

The two sirens was shocked to hear their bumbling friend said something so intelligently. They realized that she must have caught that word from being around the Rainbooms and they did not want to admit to something that's so kind. They feel that if they apologized, it will ruin their bad girl reputations.

"Oh come now" Adagio replied, trying her best to avoid saying that word. "We had said worst things to each other before and we never had to apologized."

Aria then added: "And besides, aren't friends allowed to say mean things to each other. Because... You know... They want them to get better or something like that?"

Seizing the opportunity to what Aria had just said, Adagio had came up with a convincing argument and tells Sonata: "Yeah! If we hadn't called you stupid, you would had never did something that is so smart."

If Sonata was a little bit brighter, she should have picked up that they had never apologized and that she shouldn't trust them. However, her deceptable mind gave into their words and was convinced that they have changed.

"I guess you're right" Sonata hesitantly admitted. At that moment, the two sirens thought that they had got Sonata back into their hands. But then, as a last test of friendship, she then asked them: "So... are we friends again?"

Both of them looked at each other surprised before they made the happiest smiles that they can and Adagio begrudgingly replied: "Yeah... We're... friends."

"Really!" Sonata replied a happily. She then wrapped her arms around Aria and Adagio and told them: "I missed you so much!"

The both of them found Sonata's hugs really strange. They always found anything nice and sweet as boring or uninteresting. However, they oddly found Sonata's hug oddly welcoming. Adagio then pat her back and replied to her: "Um... Thanks Sonata. We really missed you too so you can let go now.

Once she let them go, Adagio and Aria ripped their blushes off their faces and got down to business. "Ok... Have they told you where the portal is yet?" Adagio enquired.

Still very excited, Sonata told them: "No, but I did learn a lot of things about everyone else."

At first, they were disappointed at Sonata for not finding out what the was. But they could see why they wouldn't tell her just yet and they were curious what else that she found out about their enemies.

Sonata tells them: "Well... Rainbow Dash gets really sensitive if anybody touches her feet, Rarity doesn't like green hair, Pinkie Pie's secret trash can is at the horse statue, Fluttershy doesn't really like lizards, especially the komodo dragon, and..."

But then, Aria stops her what she should that she heard something important. "Wait, what did you said just there? "Trash can at the horse statue"? There is no trash can by the horse statue."

Sonata explains to Aria: "Well, you see, whenever Pinkie have to get rid off a lot of trash really quickly, she chucks it into one of the mirrors and it all gets sent to a different place."

When they heard such a fact, Aria face palmed and Adagio ground by the sheer idiocy. The don't know if they want to be mad at Sonata for not realizing that it was actually the portal or Pinkie who use the portal in such a manner. In the end, Adagio yelled to Sonata: "SONATA! That! Was! The Portal!"

"Really!" she responded. She then put two and two together and realize that it makes a bit of sense. "Oh yeah... I guess you're right."

Still very frustrated, Adagio then told her: "Come on. You are gunna show us where it is exactly."

And then the three sirens leave, with Adagio and Aria following Sonata's lead. Fortunately, they went down a different direction from where Fluttershy was. When they were gone, Fluttershy got out from hiding and was very, very shocked.

Out in a different part of the school, Sunset, Rainbow, Rarity and Applejack was making their way out of the school while Pinkie Pie was telling them all of her best moments with Sonata. Everyone couldn't help but smile when they hear Pinkie excitably tells them her tales.

"... And after truth and dare, we had a crazy night with Maud when we went to Boulder's birthday party. And then..."

"Ok Pinkie! We get it. You don't have to convince us anymore" interrupted Rainbow Dash who was at her limit in stories.

"I have to say Pinkie, you sure love spending your time with Sonata" Rarity commented.

Applejack added: "Yeah, it's like you two were made for each other. If I didn't know any better, I would say ya were replacing us with her."

"Oh don't worry Applejack, I would never do that. And besides, we can now hangout together again" Pinkie replied. She then turn to Sunset and then ask her: "So... will ya let Sonata hang with us?"

Sunset replied to her: "Ok Pinkie. She can hang with us. You two have shown us how much you can get along with each other."

Upon hearing the good news, Pinkie Pie squealed with delight and joy while her friends just barely covered their ears in time. But then, before they could continue the conversation, Rainbow Dash's phone started buzzing.

"Oh! Hang on guys, Fluttershy is calling me" she declared before she answered the call.

While Rainbow Dash was answering her call, Sunset took this time to seriously ask Pinkie: "Pinkie, before we meet up with Sonata, did you tell her anything about the portal or how it would lead back to Equestria?"

"Don't worry. I didn't tell her anything about the portal" Pinkie replied nonchalantly.

"WHAT!! ALL THE SIRENS KNOWS ABOUT THE PORTAL!!" yelled Rainbow Dash.

Everyone else yelled "WHAT!" upon hearing the revelation. As everyone was looking at Rainbow Dash with horror, she explains to them: "Sonata Had Gotten Back Together With The Other Sirens And She Is Taking Them To The Portal Right Now!"

Everyone then look at Pinkie with disappointment and disgust, especially since she told them that she didn't. Pinkie looked confused by the situation and tried to explain: "WAIT! I Didn't Tell Here Anything About The Portal! All That I Told Her Was... !" But then, the gears in her head started to turn as she was starting to recall what happened that morning. She did told Sonata and because of her ignorance, she has now endangered the safety of Equestria, the home of one of her closest friend. She clasped her hands up close to her face and said: "Oh no!" as she was horrified to what she had done.

Everyone was rushing down the hallway, hoping they could make it to the portal before the sirens. And while they all were frantically running, Sunset also had to write the warning down in her magic book and hopping that Twilight could get the message in time.

"I Could Not Believe You Would Tell Sonata About The Portal!" yelled Rainbow Dash in frustration towards Pinkie.

"And I Could Not Believe You Would Use An Inter-Dimensional Portal As A Dustbin!" Rarity added

AJ then added: "This Is Thee Most Foolish, Idiotic Thing Ya Have Ever Done!"

Pinkie yelled back: "I KNOW!" as she was busting down into tears while she run. "I... I Never Thought This Would Happen!"

As she was finishing writing, Sunset yelled to everyone: "We Can Sort This Out Later! For Now, We Have To Stop The Sirens!" And for the rest of the way, everyone ran in silent.

Everyone eventually arrived to the entrance hall where Fluttershy was secretly watching the sirens from the doorway. Fluttershy initially jumped when she saw her friends behind her, but Rainbow Dash quickly calmed her down.

"Calm Down Fluttershy!" she asked while she got hold of Fluttershy's shoulders. Once she was finally relaxed, she let her go and then asks her: "Tell us about the situation."

However, Fluttershy was confused on what to say. She wasn't panicking like the situation was completely terrible. Instead, she just point everyone outside so they can see for themselves.

Outside, they could see Aria, Adagio and Sonata was at in front of horse statue, on the side where the portal was. However, they did not see any part of them was through the mirror. In fact, when Sonata was trying her hardest to push her way, she wasn't going through the portal. The Portal was closed. Everyone had a sigh of relief as a heavy burden had been lifted from them.

"Oh Thank Celestia! The message got through in time" Sunset muttered. Even though they know Sunset's phrase was something she picked kept from Equestria, her friends always found it weird that she was saying the name of their principal. But they don't care. They are just happy that the crisis was successfully adverted.

However, once all the relief and tension was all gone, they then turn their attention back towards Pinkie as they remember that they are still really upset at her. She was intimidated by their intimidating stares at her. However, she know that she did something really stupid and she closed her eyes in acceptance to any insult or punishment that she will receive from her friends.

But then, as they were about to yell at Pinkie, they began hearing shouting from the courtyard.

"Sonata! Are you sure the portal is here!?" asked Adagio who was slowly loosing her patients.

"You have to believe me! The trash disappeared when they went trough here" she replied as she was touching every corner of the mirror, hoping that there might be a switch or something.

Aria commented: "I hope you haven't been lying to us."

"I"M TELLING YOU! It's Here!"

After touching everywhere on the mirror surface, Sonata then tried to push as hard as she could to make it through the other side. After that failed, Sonata then got any leftover rapper she had with her and try to see if they can go through. Unfortunately for her, it did not.

After the failed attempt that left all the rappers on the ground, Adagio remark: "You know... we might have been too hasty on calling her a genius."

And then Aria added: "Maybe it was all dumb luck?"

Combined with the frustration from not opening the portal, Sonata turn and face them in anger and responded: "HEY! It wasn't just dumb luck. It's just... She shown it to me here... It just that... I... I... I don't know why, but..."

But as she lost grip of her bravado and was starting to stammer, the other sirens had enough with Adagio declared before she and Aria was about to walk away: "This has just been a waist of time."

Sonata grabbed a hold of their arms to stop them from leaving and began pleading: "NO WAIT! I can show you. I can show how smart I gotten. You just have to..."

However, before Sonata couldn't finish, the two sirens then pulled their arms away from her grip and then Adagio began criticizing her. "No we don't. You were supposed to find us the exit to get us out of this accursed world, Which You Were Supposed To Do! Instead, You Were Dilly-Dallying About With Someone Who Is Equally As Dim-Witted As You Are! You had your chance And You Wasted It!"

The Rainbooms was watching from afar as they could see Adagio was tearing apart Sonata. They felt pity as Adagio's cruel words was bringing Sonata to tears. Eventually, Pinkie Pie had enough of it. Before any of them could see it coming, Pinkie had snatch Sunset's book and began jotting something down.

"Pinkie! What are you doing?" Sunset asked.

However, by the time that she asked, Pinkie had finished writing and handed the book back. She then walk outside and began making her way to the sirens who was picking on her friend. The other Rainboom tried to stop her, but Pinkie had a strong determination in her eyes that made them to let her go.

When Pinkie finally made it to the sirens, Sonata was about to be burst into tears. When they finally notice Pinkie, with Sonata was the first person to spot her, Pinkie calmly told them: "Girls, calm down. There's a misunderstanding."

"Pinkie?..." muttered Sonata who was still reeling from the insults.

"What do you want?" asked Aria intimidatingly.

Pinkie then got in front of everyone, stood in front of the mirror and began telling: "Sonata's right. The portal is here... but it just won't open to anyone."

Pinkie then grabbed a can of soda pop out of her hair and quickly drinkk all of it's contents. When she finished, she then chuck the empty can at the mirror and it went right through the porta;. Pinkie friends was shocked that she revealed to them the portal and Adagio and Aria was shocked to see the portal was right in front of them. However, when the two sirens tried to run through it, they slammed against the statue.

After landing on their asses, Adagio asked out loud: "What!... What in the name of Tartarus just happened?"

After getting them off the ground, Pinkie then told them: "Like I said: the portal won't open to anyone. You have to be really best friends with an Equestrian princess in order to use it."

As Pinkie just stood there with arms crossed and was looking proud of herself, everyone was left speechless. Pinkie had came up with a cleverly concocted lie that not only help defend Sonata, but also keep the security of Equestria as well. The rest of the Hu-Mane 6 was admittingly impressed for her quick thinking while Adagio and Aria was left duped by the lie.

While Aria just looked away and stomped in anger, Adagio was still shocked by the fake revelation and was muttering: "Wait... Our first ticket to get us out of exile... and it won't let us."

However, while Pinkie and the Rainbooms were impressed, Aria was angry and Adagio was having her mind broken, Sonata just stood there and was trying to make sense in all of this. She just stood, slowly piecing together a picture which she thinks that she understands. And when she was done, she came to a conclusion which no one could have predicted.

"Hang On!" Sonata yelled, grabbing everyone's attention. She then points towards Pinkie and then says: "So then... You Lied To Me!"

"What!" yelled Pinkie.

"What!" yelled Adagio and Aria.

"What!" yelled the Rainbooms.

Sonata then angrily explains while still pointing at Pinkie: "You said that I'm allowed to use the portal, but now you say that I couldn't use it in the first place!"

Shocked that her friend who Pinkie shared her laughter and kindness with, Pinkie became upset and pushed Sonata's hand away from her.

"Now Hang On A Minute!" Pinkie yelled back as she now pointing her finger back at Sonata. "You're the one who betrayed me. You Pinkie Promise that you would keep this a secret. And Then You Go Ahead And Tell These Two!"

"Well FRIENDS Are Allowed To Share Secrets" Sonata rebutted. She then took Adagio and Aria under her arms and proudly proclaims: "And These Two Are My Friends!"

A confused Aria then ask one of them: "Wha... What's going on right now?"

A still infuriated Pinkie then argued: "Friends!? But They Call You An Idiot And Was Insulting You!"

Sonata then pushed her "friends" away and then argued back: "Well Your Friends Treat You Like An Idiot To And You Still Call Them Your Friends!"

"Well At least They Treat Me Better!"

"Treat You Better While They Stole Our Ability To Sing! Which I Remember That You Insulted!"

"I Didn't Insult! All I Said Was That In Karaoke, You Are Allowed To Sing Badly!"

"Well In That Case: YOUR SINGING SUCKS!"

"WHAT!... Well In That Case: YOUR COOKING SUCKS!"

"YOU SUCK!"

"NO YOU SUCK!"

Their bickering then dissolve into the both of them yelling "SUCK! SUCK! SUCK!" at each other at the same time. Eventually, Sonata then yelled to Pinkie: "FINE! If That's How You Feel About Me, THEN I DON'T WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND ANYMORE!"

Pinkie replied back by yelling: "FINE! I Don't Want A Friend Who Betrays Ya!"

As she was about to push Adagio and Aria away (who was still very confused by the way), Sonata yelled back: "You Were The One Who Betrayed Me First!"

"No! You Did!"

"No! You Did!"

"NO! YOU DID!"

"NO! YOU DID!"

They kept having their argument even when the sirens were leaving. And as they were becoming further apart, Pinkie then let her pent-up tears loose and was dripping down her face. She still continued screaming until her friends went up and Applejack yelled at her:

"Stop Pinkie! She's Gone!"

When Pinkie opened her eyes, she could no longer see Sonata or even hear her voice. Her emotions began to sink in. Pinkie had finally met someone who felt like a kindred spirit to her. She told a lie in order to help her, but that lie also tore them apart. She broke up with friends before and some of them ended on a really sour note, but they never felt as painful as the pain she was experiencing now. When she look at her friends who looked very sorry for her, Pinkie burst down even harder into tears and began crying onto Rarity's chest. Despite not expecting for Pinkie to be crying on her, Rarity knows that she needs to and let her cry on her. Everyone then gave Pinkie a group hug, but this time, it was to comfort her as she was still crying very loudly.

Sometime later, the Hu-Mane 6 took Pinkie to the soccer field so she can rest on the bleachers. Pinkie was still very heartbroken, but at least she was about to stop crying. And while everyone tried their best to cheer up Pinkie, Sunset was standing away from everyone so she can quietly give her friendship report to the princess.

Dear Princess Twilight,

We're sorry about letting the sirens know about the portal. However, I don't think this will be a problem again. That is, not unless they have a reason to think it will open for them. We perfectly understand if you want to keep the portal shut for a long time now, but we still hope you can still come and visit us while you have a chance.

And during this who fiasco, I learned an important lesson on friendship. I learned that friendship is a delicate thing and it has a great effect on people. Some people would could feel really insecure about themselves and they could use a friend to make them feel better. However, I also learned that some friends can patch things up if they really wanted to. And honestly, we hope that Pinkie can patch things up with Sonata because they had so much fun together, even through they are on opposite sides.

When Sunset finished writing, she put her book away and go and check on how Pinkie was doing. And she was happy to see that Pinkie had cried her last tear.

"Hey Pinkie" Sunset greeted as she walk up to her. "How are you feeling?"

Pinkie replied: "Sigh. A little better then before. You guys must think that I am a total idiot now?"

Rarity argued: "Hey Now! We didn't thought that."

And Rainbow Dash then added: "Yeah. And because you think on your feet, you managed to help Sonata when she was having trouble with her "friends.""

However, Pinkie rebutted those words by stating: "Yeah. But because of it, Sonata now hates me."

After she said that, Pinkie then buried her face into her arms. Her friends were worried that she would fall back down into depression. However, Sunset quickly asked her: "Hey, do you want to know something which I learned from Princess Twilight."

Curious, she de-buried her face so she can look up and replied: "What?"

Sunset got down to the same level of Pinkie and then she reveals to her: "Twilight wasn't the one who closed the portal in time."

Everyone became surprised and Pinkie even yelled: "What!"

Sunset explains: "You see, it was the Pinkie Pie on the other side who was opening and closing the portal. She even helped you in your plan when you tried to help Sonata."

Having that fact revealed to her had lighten Pinkie's spirit a little bit. It even brought out a little smile on her face. She even felt good enough to jump out of her seat and happily cried out: "Alright then. Didn't we suppose to have a study party at Sunset Shimmer's house?"

Everyone believed that Pinkie had gotten better and they all yelled: "Yeah!" at here. As everyone was starting to leave, Rainbow Dash quickly swung her arm around Pinkie and told: "And don't worry Pinkie. Nobody can hold a grudge forever." The only reply that Pinkie Pie gave back was a grateful smile.

But then, as the Hu-Mane 6 was making their way to Sunset's house, Pinkie stopped for a second and none of them notice. She then got out her phone and began deleting photos that she took with Sonata. She delete the picture with them singing at karaoke, them cooking and them when they were at Boulder's birthday party. However, she was hesitant to delete the last photo she had with Sonata, the one that they took while in the broken photo booth. After a quick deliberation, she pressed no for deletion and decide to keep the last photo.

After she decided to keep the last photo, Sonata then put her away and catch up with Adagio and Aria when they yelled to her to hurry up. But what both she and Pinkie didn't notice that in the last picture that they saved was the pony ears that both of them have.

Episode 2A: They're Back With A Flash

On a normal day, usually around lunch, some of the students tend to hang around their lockers. Usually they would talk about school work, what they will gunna do once the school was over for the day or what was going on in their respective interests. But lately, when one student appeared and yell: "The Sirens Are Coming!", everyone would stop and become silent. And that what happened today.

Down in the hallway that leads down the cafeteria, Brawly Beat (the one who was more amazed about a talking dog then students blasting lasers at each other) appeared and told everyone: "Quick! The sirens are coming." Once he said that, all conversations that were going on became abruptly stopped. Beat looked to his side and saw how close Adagio, Aria and Sonata were to him. Before he could even react, Adagio yelled: "Get out of our way" and she pushed him to some lockers. Once the Dazzlings walked passed him, Beat didn't felt fear or intimidation, just not happy.

As she was walking along with her other siren friends behind her, Adagio glance at all the other students that they were walking past. Adagio knows that the students would move out of the way for then or become completely silent, but it wasn't for the reason that she wanted. They didn't respect them or were scared of them. They know that if they say or do something to get on their moods, then the sirens will breath down their necks and would have a scene. Adagio saw the aggravation and annoyance at them in their eyes. The sirens are nothing more but a nuisance to them and that way Adagio did not look happy when she was waling down the hall.

Aria on the other hand was a different matter. She was always angry and agitated and usually she was the one who starts the fights. And lately, she was getting into a lot of them by how the other students were treating them. As she was walking, she was looking side to side to see if they have anything bad to say about them.

And Sonata... she didn't cared. Honestly, the other students didn't have a problem with Sonata. Since she was the most friendly out of the free, no one had the feeling to antagonize her. But often they will see her along with the other sirens and they were too afraid to talk to her while they were around. And Sonata didn't care what the other students think about her. They can say some of the worst insults at her and she wouldn't be bothered by it. As long as someone doesn't mess with her and her food, then everything is golden.

Everyone just watch with discontent as the three sirens was walking down the hall. Some even wonder why they still go to their school because they know that they didn't like it here. They know that once the sirens will left them, they can continue talking and it wouldn't have been much of a problem.

However, when the sirens walked pass them and were several meters away from them, one member from a group of girls felt that she can say whatever she wants and the sirens would hear her.

"Can you believe it?" the girl exclaims. "How come we have to be quite whenever those sirens walk down the hall?"

Unfortunately, she did not go unnoticed as all three of the sirens could hear her speak. While Sonata wasn't bothered by it and Adagio couldn't be bothered, Aria was defiantly angry by this defiance.

"Stop! The Sirens Will Hear You!" said by the friend of the girl and all of the other students there will agree.

However, she would reply: "So what. I'm not scared."

At that moment, with her friends stopping her, Aria storms up to the girl, pull her around and told her: "If you have something to say, Then Say It To My Face!"

More ignorant and stupid then brave, the girl replied: "Fine! You think that you can come back to our school and do whatever you like, but No! Not only are we not scared of you because you don't have your freaky magic or whatever, but I also don't like you by how you dress."

"What!" Aria respond as she and the other sirens didn't know what to think about that last insult.

The girl told Aria: "Not only does your outfits barely matches your skin, but they are so last season."

Aria angrily retorts: "Well if that's the case, THEN I DON'T REALLY HAVE A PROBLEM TO POUND YOUR FACE IN!"

The girl jumped back frighten when Aria raised her fist at her. However, before anyone could imagine Aria hitting her, Adagio grabbed her arm and told her: "Calm Down! Is it really worth hitting over this?"

Adagio and successfully convinced her not to do something violent, but Aria still had this pent up rage and she doesn't want to look like that she was nothing but talk. She could even see the girl's smugness coming back to her face. However, she spotted the locker next to her and assumes that it's her locker. So instead, Aria punched it so hard that it left a dent in the shape of her fist into it.

As the girl and her friends were shocked by this, Adagio looked impressed and says: "There we go!"

As Aria left them with a smile on her face and the sirens would return going to the cafeteria, the girl was left upset by the state of her locker. She then huffs to her friends and says: "They are way much worst then when Sunset Shimmer tried to redeem herself."

However, that was thee most stupidest thing that she could ever say because Adagio returns right back and screams: "WHAT DID YOU SAY!?!?"

Adagio was ten times more angry and frightening as the girl was frighten by the rage in her eyes. All the other students just face-palmed and Aria even commented: "You shouldn't have said that."

As Sonata and Aria restrained Adagio and was pulling her way, Adagio was screaming: "Don't You Dare Say I Am Worst Then Sunset Shimmer! Because If You Do, I Will Burn You From Where You Stand And I Will Send Your Ashes To Tartarus!" Her friends fortunately pulled her away before she could say anything else.

Eventually, the Dazzlings finally made it to the cafeteria and they slam open the door upon their arrival. Everyone looked up to see who it is... but then go back to eating their food once they saw who it is. Adagio did not like that. The three sirens then entered into the queue and was waiting to be served. But they then (Adagio and Aria at least) got into another fight when a group of girls try to cut in front of them.

Sunset and her friends could see the commotion from across the room and at their table. Sunset then turns to her friends and says: "Can you believe this? I heard that they were making friends like this all week."

All her friends agreed in unison. Applejack even added: "Yeah. It's like how you were when turn to the good side. But this, they are going into a fuss in a hair trigger."

Adagio then looked worried and then said: "Maybe I should go over and talk to them. Maybe to get them to calm down a little bit."

However, Rarity replied: "I wouldn't recommend it darling. I don't know about Aria or Sonata, but Adagio defiantly has a deep grudge against you."

"Really?" Sunset disappointingly enquire and only to be answered by a yes-full nod. She then turn towards Pinkie and asks her: "Have you at least been trying to talk things out with Sonata?"

Pinkie Pie then full down into a slump which Cheerilee would make began stirring her soup. She replied: "Yeah right. Whenever I'm 10 feet close to her, she would walk 100 feet away from me."

And speaking of Sonata, she was finally got her food from Granny Smith and her and the other sirens were going to find a table. However, when they found a table with enough free spaces, a random guy accidently collided with Sonata. When she realized what has just happened, she notice all of her delicious food that she was eager on eating were scattered across the food.

Rainbow Dash, who saw what happened, got her friends attention when she said "OOH!", like someone was sucker punched. She then explained to them: "That can't be good. Some guy accidently made Sonata to drop her food."

Upon hearing what Rainbow just said, Pinkie suddenly jumped up in fear and yelled: "What!" And she wasn't the only one who was scared. As Sonata still looked down in shock to the food she can no longer eat, Adagio and Aria was slowly walking away in fear.

As the Rainbooms were wondering what was going on or what's going to happen, Pinkie then screamed to as many people as she can to "Everyone! Hit The Deck!" She then pulled all of her friends under the table.

Once Pinkie got almost everyone under the table, Rainbow pulled Pinkie's arm away from her and yells to her: "Pinkie! What are you doing?"

But then, everyone heard a loud shriek that sounds like it came from Sonata. "AAAHHHH!" was heard and a lot of other frightening sounds were made. They heard plates shattering, tables flipping, screams from Sonata, the students and Wilhelm and somehow even explosions and gunfire.

All the girls were scared by all of the calamity that they aren't seeing. But then, Pinkie yelled out: "Hang-On! Where's Fluttershy!?"

Fortunately, Fluttershy appeared and replied cheerfully and nonchalantly: "I'm here." However, she was covered in a range of sauces and different foods.

Sometime later, after Sonata had her roaring rampage that destruction, the three sirens was called into Principal's Celestia's office. The sirens was sitting on chairs and was waiting anxiously for Principal Celestia and Vice-principal Luna to say something to them and what their punishment was gunna be. However, waiting for their punishment directly from the principals did have a effect on their moods. Adagio and Aria was still brooding in all of this and Sonata didn't know what was going on. Celestia was grieving with the whole situation and holding her head up with her own hands. V.P Luna meanwhile was looking through the report of property damage which Sonata has caused and she did not like it one bit.

The room was filled with silence until Luna finally says to all of them: "Well, after the damages that you done to the school, along with the constant misbehaviour reports about your fights with the other students, we are looking at a week or even 10 days suspension."

As Sonata was about to ask what "suspension" means, she got the general idea of it when Aria made a comment. "What, we trashed the cafeteria and you would punish us with a week vacation? Score!"

Luna slams her hand on Celestia's desk in anger and states: "This Is No Laughing Matter!"

Aria argues: "Please. How does not coming to this school help punish someone?"

However, Luna retorts: "Well, if you don't think that's an adequate punishment, we can give you community service instead. Not only you have to clean up the cafeteria, but you must also help miss Smith with preparing and serving the food for the other students.

Adagio and Aria groaned to the thought of them doing manual labour and serving the students that they hate. However, Sonata looked optimistic and says to them: "Oh come on, it's not that bad. All we have to do is to spruce things up a little bit and we can even..."

However, Luna noted: "And you can't eat the food."

And with that, Sonata lost any optimism expression as she moans: "Oh Come On!"

Before that conversation could go any further, Celestia brings her head up, turn to face Adagio and says to her: "When we talk over the phone, you said to me that you will be on your best behaviour."

"Hey, you was the one who wanted us to come back" Adagio replies.

But then Celestia replies: "All I said is that if you girls want to come back and want to redeem yourselves, then you can."

Aria then crossed her arms commented to that remark: "Yeah, show what you knows."

Upon seeing their unwillingness, Celestia stood herself up and then told them: "It is my personal belief that anybody can change. Even if they still don't like other people, they can at least learn to tolerate and work with each other. I think that even you can change for the better."

The Dazzling didn't reply nor make a sarcastic remark to that. They all look away and try to hide that her words struck a cord with them, however small. Maybe it was how she just complimented them and how she has faith in them.

However, as they were taking a while for them to say anything, Luna decided to a bit of reality to the situation. "Well if you don't take your suspension seriously and you don't want to accept community service, then we have no other choice but to expel you and no longer consider her as one of our students." As she got their attention, she then added: "And if you want won't pay for the damaging fees that you caused, then we would have to report you to the proper authorities. And trust me, they can and will give you a much harsher punishment the we can even give."

Upon considering their options, Adagio reply for all of them: "Fine, we will take that suspension or whatever and try to see if we can be better. But How Can You Expect Us To Deal With Everyone Who Constantly trying To Get On Our Nerves!?"

Luna remark: "Sunset Shimmer went through the same thing and she didn't have a problem with..."

"DON'T YOU DARE SAY HER NAME!" Adagio interrupts her with a raging fury. When she see how the principals what shocked by her yelling and see her friends try to signal her that she wasn't meant to do that, Adagio then took a deep breath to calm herself down and says: "Sorry. Just don't... mention... that name."

After she apologized and token her seat, Celestia remarks: "Maybe we should also help you with that?" Celestia then began jotting down a note and tells the sirens: "I think we'll send you one of our best students and help teach you how to better interact with everybody else."

Aria replies to Celestia: "Yeah right. Like there is a student out there who really wants to help us."

"As long it's not Sunset Shimmer, then I'm fine" Adagio commented.

But despite their expectations, they were eventually got word that a students was willing to help them and was arranged to meet up with them. They know that they would get in trouble if they wouldn't go and want to avoid anymore hassle.

Adagio, Aria and Sonata was waiting in the music room to meet-up with their student consoler, as per their arrangement and they even got the room reserved to them. While Adagio was huffing and looking out of the window, Aria and Sonata sat near each other and try to do something to past the time. While Sonata was immersed within her own little imagination, Aria come across and an abandon notebook and thought she could have a read of it. Aside for a few notes for classes and pages that were incomprehensible, she did come across some songs and music notes that she think that were really good. Despite it was just her and her friends there, Aria decided to keep the book.

Eventually, they all heard the door open and a voice cried out: "Oh... You're here!... That's Good!" As everyone looked around to see who it is, the voice then told them: "Hi. My name is Flash Sentry, but you can call me Flash."

While Aria was more or less indifferent, Adagio and Aria was interested in Flash Sentry. She couldn't put her hand on it, but Adagio remembered something funny and it had something to do with him. Sonata on the other hand thought that he looks good.

As he made his way to the side of the room with the piano, Flash told them: "Well um... I know that you are having a hard time adjusting to Canterlot, but I think we can help fix that." He then asks: "So... Can I ask you your..."

However, Adagio interrupted him and says: "Hang on, I know you."

Surprised, Flash replied: "Well... You probably just seen me around the school. I have defiantly seen..."

"Yeah! I remember you made the lead singer for the Rainbooms cry" happily pointed out Adagio. Aria and Sonata soon remembered that scene too and began laughing over it.

As well as being embarrassed, but they also made him remember a memory that he personally ashamed of. However, Flash knows that that he can get upset about it and try his best not the be flustered about it.

"So anyway..." says Flash Sentry while he try to hide his blushing checks. "Why don't you share to me your names?"

Aria replied: "Why do we have to? You must already know your names from the battle of the bands."

Flash replied: "Well yeah, but... It's to make a closer connection to one another. You know?"

Sonata was the only one to see what he means while Adagio and Aria didn't but didn't want to cause trouble. So all three of them gave their names.

"Fine. Adagio."

"Aria."

"Sonata!" Sonata said so cheerfully to make a better impression.

Flash expected for them to say a bit more about himself. So he then asked them: "Ok... But what are you like?"

"World domination." replied Adagio.

"Music" replied Aria.

"Trying New Foods!" eagerly replied Sonata.

Flash know it's best to avoid talking about world domination or anything evil related and doesn't know how to approach with the food thing. But he has a feeling that talking about music would be the most relatable and the best thing to talk about. Flash says to them: "Someone says music. Let's talk about that."

Flash expected them to be a bit more excited, being singers and all. However, none of the looked happy to talk about. Even Aria who mentioned didn't looked at all pleased.

Treading carefully, Flash asked them: "Well, I'm guessing that you all really like to sing. Right." Despite not cracking smiles, all of the sirens agreed with him. "Despite, you know... turning the whole school against each other, everyone thought that you all were really good. You even made it to the finals in the battle of the bands."

After Flash gave all of his praises, Adagio replied to him: "Thanks for the compliment, but you would probably won't hear it again."

"What!" Flash responded.

Adagio informs him: "Not only did annoying little Rainbooms ruined our plan and take away our powers to control people, but they also took our ability to sing."

"What! They wouldn't do that" Flash replied, until he realized and added: "Taking your singing voice, I mean. Stopping you plan... well..."

Seeing that he wasn't convinced, the sirens took the pendants that they now keep in their pockets and show him how damaged they were. As he was curious about why they were broken and why they were showing them to him, Adagio explains: "These gems housed all of our magical abilities after we got banished from the world where we came from. But since they're broken, we can no longer be sirens anymore."

Flash notice how troubled all three of them were about this. Even if they were using it for evil purposes, he could feel that they had much pride with their singing and must feel devastated that they think they can't sing anymore. However, Flash wasn't totally convinced.

"Oh come on. It can be like that bad" he told them. "Just because your pendants are broken doesn't mean you forgot how to sing. Right?"

"You don't believe us?" Adagio replied. After everyone put away their gems, Adagio then turned to Sonata and told her: "Sonata, sing something."

"What! Why do I have to sing?" Sonata responded.

Both Adagio and Aria replied: "Just Do It!"

Begrudgingly, Sonata then began to sing a few notes. It wasn't long for Flash to cover his ears in pain and realized how bad she gotten. After Sonata stopped, Flash let down his hands and says to them: "Ok, you might have a point."

The two other sirens smirked as they see that Flash have to admit how wrong he was. However, he turn back around and argued: "But come on. Despite how much your pendants had over your voices, you can't just forget your experiences. You been singing like... 5 or 10 years."

"About a 1000 years" Aria told him.

Flash was surprised when she told him a thousand. You just looks at them and he doesn't think they looked over 20. However, he didn't let his mind go off into a tangent and pointed out: "Ok, you had a 1000 years to practice and perfect your talents. In fact, have you been practicing since the battle of the bands?"

All of the sirens were shocked when they realized that they were right. For months they have been bickering with themselves about what happened and getting into fights with other people. They realized that they could have used that time instead to practice and try something to restore their voices. In fact, they couldn't even recall practicing in the first place. For as long as they can remember, they had always had an amazing gift at singing and didn't even need to practice.

As Flash could see how deep in thought that he made the sirens, he then says to them: "You know what, why don't you give me your gems."

"What! Why?" Aria enquired.

He just smiles and says: "I know somebody who is really good with jewels."

Episode 2B: They're Back With A Flash

Despite having the greatest job she could ever ask for at her age, nothing helps Rarity's when it is a slow day at Carousel Boutique. Once every blue moon, there will always be a day where there won't be costumers coming to the store and Rarity would have to fight off her boredom. Sitting behind the cash register, Rarity was flicking through the latest fashion mag' to see what was going on in the world of fashion and see if she can find ideas from it. And whenever she looks away from that mag', she gets dishearten when she looks at the ghost town of a store. Tumbleweed would be blowing around the store right now if she hadn't gave it all away to Applejack. Shame really. When she got the job, she thought that everyday, she would show people what her imagination has in store for them. But oh well, she had expected days like today.

After she read a comment in her book that she did not agree with, Rarity finally heard the door open and the bell that hangs over started to ring. Finally, she thought that someone finally comes and saves her from her boredom. Even if it wasn't a costumer who came to buy clothes, she at least was hoping that it was one of her friends who comes to chat with her. After hiding her magazine away, Rarity flicked back her hair and says:

"Welcome to Carousel Boutique, where every garment is chic, unique, and magnifique. How can I help you today?"

Imagine her surprised however when she see it was Flash Sentry who came to her store today. As Flash was absorbing everything he sees around him, Rarity was just token back as she didn't not expect to see him in her store in a thousand years.

"Flash Sentry!" she thought out loud.

It was almost impossible for Flash to not hear Rarity's voice called out his name in surprise. "Oh, hi Rarity" he greeted her. As he was making his way towards her, Rarity straighten herself up and try to act professional.

"Oh um... Welcome Flash. Um... Is there anything that you want?"

When he arrived at the counter, he leans against it and replied: "Actually yeah, there is."

After she slipped a chuckle or two, Rarity remarks: "Ok. But you do know this store is a girl's clothing store, right?"

Unintentionally acting a bit suave and charming, Flash told her: "I know, but that's not why I'm here for."

And at that, Rarity's mind exploded as she was thinking he was gunna ask her out. Wild fantasies was running loose as she was thinking how much of a scandal this would cause. Everyone knows that him and Twilight has thing, but she always imagine Sunset would be the second girl who would be in the love triangle. Even though she was 100% certain that she can say no to him, she does admit that Flash looks hunky and good-looking.

As she was thinking he would say: "Rarity... would you go out with me?", Flash dashed her it all when he really asks: "You know a lot about gems, right?"

As Rarity fantasies was falling down around her, she quickly shock everything off and asks: "Say that again?"

"Are you really good with gem stones?" he reiterate.

Once Rarity finally got herself composed yet again, she replied: "Well, I don't usually toot my own horn, but I know a thing or two about gems. Why do you ask?" Rarity is the leading expert on gems, jewels and other rocks that sparkle at Canterlot High. Not only could she tell a real jewel from a fake, but she is also an A-star student in geology. The only person who might know more then her would be Maud and the Pie family, but they know more about rocks in general.

However, she was surprised again when chuck some broken red gems onto the counter. As she was looking at the scattered bits and pieces, Flash asks her: "Do you know if these can be put back together or something?"

As she was staring intensely at the broken gems, Rarity has a strong feeling that she seen them before. As she hold them close to her eye for a closer examination, she slowly began to recognize them; they were the Dazzling's pendants.

When she realized what she was looking at, Rarity was very hesitant to help Flash. Putting aside the question to why would Flash Sentry try to help the sirens, she was afraid that if she would fix them, then she might restore their siren powers as well. However, even if they weren't magical, even Rarity didn't know if jewels can be fixed.

"I am sorry Flash" apologized Rarity. "Unless you want to fix them with glue, I don't think jewels can be fixed."

Disappointed, Flash remarked: "Well I should have expected that." He then scrapped up all the pieces and says: "Well thanks anyway."

After he picked up all the pieces and was looking ready to leave, Rarity was hesitant to probe him for information. She had to know why he would be helping them. The second Flash moved an inch away from the counter, Rarity stopped him asks: "Flash! Are those..."

Flash instantly recognize what she was trying to say to him. He just sighed and silently nodded. Rarity eyes ridden to Flash's silent reply. Flash return back to the counter and explains: "Yeah... I'm sort of helping the sirens to be a bit more friendlier around school. I thought that... if they could see that somebody if trying to help them, then they wouldn't have to be mean to everybody."

When she hears Flash's words, Rarity began to sympathise with his cause. Whenever she seen the Dazzlings in the past week, she felt so sorry for them as no one was giving them a break. She recall the time when Pinkie and Sonata were still friends and feels that befriending the sirens were a possibility. If only she and the other Rainbooms could have try talking to them earlier and things might have been a little bit better for them.

Deciding the help him, Rarity lifted Flash's spirit when she tells him: "You know what? I may not be able to fix those gems, but I am pretty sure that we have some just like it if I look around."

Rescued from the downer mood, Flash cheerfully replied: "Sure. I don't think they would mind."

"Alright then" Rarity responded as she finally start doing some work for the day. While Flash was chilling by the counter, Rarity was looking through her boxes of jewellery and other gem stones to see if she can find a match.

But a few moments later, while Flash and Rarity were still doing their own then, they were startled when a loud and stern voice yelled out shot out from the second floor of the shop. "Rarity!" she called out. "I Heard That Someone Entered But I Haven't Heard Them Leaving Yet! Do We Have A Problem!?"

When Flash looked up to the balcony on the second floor, he quickly spotted an intimidating looking woman who was wearing a rather "funky" disco outfit when emeralds decorated all over it. The other most distinctive feature about her was also her emerald coloured hair. The shocking view aside, Flash also has a strong sensation that she looked like somebody else he knows but he couldn't put his finger on it. He got a massive hint when Rarity replied: "Everything Is Fine Miss Shores! I Am Just Helping Out A Costumer!"

Rarity's boss then set her gaze at Flash Sentry as she was wondering why a guy would come to a girl's clothing store. One legitimate reason it could be is that he was buying something else, like a sister or his mother. However, since she could tell that Flash is reasonably close to her employee's age, she was thinking that he might be her boyfriend and he was distracting Rarity from her working ours.

Giving Rarity the benefit of the doubt and she didn't want to cause an incident, miss Shore replied: "Well Make Sure You Give Him What He Wanted And Send Him On His Way! I Know It's A Slow Day, But Remember You Are Still On Your Working Hours!"

"Of Course Miss Shore!" Rarity replied and he boss finally leaves them alone.

Finally realizing what she has been calling her, Flash became surprised and shouted: "Miss Shore! As In Sapphire Shores!"

Seeing that Flash was beginning to make the connection, Rarity explains to him: "No, she is Sapphire Shore's twin sister: Emerald Shores. She's my boss and without her permission, I wouldn't be able to sell my designs in her store."

Finally putting the pieces together, Flash replies: "Ah! I see."

Still wanting to explain a bit about her boss, Rarity added: "I also don't here much from her sister, but I don't think their fighting or anything. As far as I can tell, the only disagreement they seem to be having is their choice in music. Also, she says that if I work hard enough, she would give my designs to Sapphire."

As Rarity become a little bit excited to that prospect, Flash didn't know his personal opinion on that but at least he is glad for her. Rarity finally went back to finding those fake gems while Flash was beginning to think what he is gunna say to the sirens for when he gunna give it to them.

Sonata rushes up to the music room's door and catched her breath when she gets there. When she notice that she was the first one there, she gets slightly upset at Adagio and Aria who was coming at a walking pace. "What Are You Doing!?" Sonata cried. "Hurry Up!"

"Hold Your Houses Sonata!" replied Adagio who did not like being shouted at. "You already convinced us to come early so don't go pushing your luck."

"Oh come on guys. Did we not promised we would try to be better?" Sonata rebutted.

"Yeah whatever" Adagio replied. "Don't get why you are so excited? Nobody is offering you any food."

With a cheeky grin on her face, Aria told Adagio: "I think she got a crush on the consoler."

"No I Don't" Sonata denied as her cheeks began to blush. Her friends were unconvinced and even Sonata couldn't deny it. "Well... I mean... I like his hair" she sheepishly admitted.

"Why? Because his hair is blue?" Aria remarked.

"And What's Wrong With Blue Hair!" Sonata yelled back. "Blue Is An Awesome Colour!"

As Aria was enjoying teasing Sonata while she was becoming crossed, Adagio did not want to hear them bickering, especially since she still not like coming to her consoling sessions. "Enough You Two!" Adagio yelled at them as she pushed the both of them apart. "Let's get this over with and go back home."

Meanwhile, on the other side of the door, Flash was standing by it and was looking at a poster that he's holding. He then heard the Dazzlings as they were coming in. "... Come on guys, he is not that bad" says Sonata as she was the first one to enter the room. Unfortunately, the floor had been recently polished and someone neglected to put up the "Slippery Floor" sign. The lack of traction caused Sonata's foot to slip and caused her to fall over. But lucky, Flash's fast and experienced reflexes rescued her as he had no problem catching her.

When Sonata processed what happened and see the one who catched her, she see the person who catched her and her heart swooned. Before, she only thought that Flash looked cute. But now, her feelings for him just got a little bit stronger.

Adagio and Aria were left jaw-dropped amazed by Flash's quick performance and was impressed by his quick action. "Wow! How did you catched her so quickly?" Aria asked while still in a tranced.

After he got a still startled and infatuated Sonata onto her feet, Flash replied to Aria: "Well... I kinda bumped into girls a lot, so I just gotten quick catching them."

Sonata felt like that she needed to thank Flash for saving her. However, she felt smitten and shy that it was a little hard to get the words out. "Um... Thanks" Sonata said sheepishly.

"No problem" he replied. Sonata turn way to hide her excited face.

As Aria and Adagio finally entered the room, they found Sonata's one sided relationship with Flash as humours. They look at his face and they only see kindness and friendship, not love and affection.

They didn't find for long however as Adagio like to get to the point. "So anyway Flash..." Adagio said that catches his attention. "... Are you gunna tell why took our gems away yesterday?"

"About that" he replied as he turn around as he was getting something from his pocket. He was doing it slowly so it gave the sirens enough time to be curious to what he is going to show them. And then he finally shown them; three red gems that looked exactly to what the sirens had. Adagio's, Aria's and Sonata's eyes widen with surprised and amazement as they thought they are seeing their gems completely restored.

"Are those our..." Sonata asked incompletely as all of the sirens faces were coming closer to Flash's hands with the jewels.

Feeling happy with himself for getting their attention, Flash tries to reply: "Actually, they are..." However, they snatches the gems right out oh his hands before he could finish.

They spare no time to admire the gems in their hands and just put them on with ease. All of the Dazzlings were clearly excited to see their gems back around their necklaces and in one piece again. They even did little poses to show them off to one another.

"I tried everything to get these damn things fixed, but you did it in just one night" stated Adagio who sounded grateful and impressed.

"Hey, do you think we can sing like we once were now?" asked an overjoyed Sonata.

"I don't know but lets give it a try" replied Aria who looked happier then she usually would.

As the Dazzlings stood close together and was preparing to sing, Flash were preparing himself if they sounded terrible. Worst yet, he was imagining that if they sounded terrible, they might hurt if by thinking that he playing a prank on them. As the sirens open their mouths and was about to sing their first words, Flash closed his in anticipation.

"Ah, ah-ah, ah-ahh. Ah, ah-ah, ah-ahh."

The sirens sang in perfect unison as they began singing the tune that they use to absorb the anger and hatred of other people. And to the complete astonishment to everyone in the room, they were all singing in perfect harmony. None of them sound rusty or out of tune, they were singing just like how they were when they were in their prime. Flash lighten up once he hears how good they are singing and begin to show how much he is liking it. Once they see how proud Flash was to them, the sirens felt so happy that they continue singing.

"Me and you, you and me, Why don't we see who is better? We don't have to be one and the same thing, Oh, what's so wrong with a little competition? Are you afraid of failing the audition!"

"Woo-Hoo!" Flash Sentry cheered. "That's Much Better!"

But then, after looking at Flash, Adagio had a devious idea. Since they got their singing voices back, she figured that they also regain their ability to hypnotize people through their songs. With one shared, menacing look with Aria and Sonata and all three of them were thinking the same idea. They then swayed towards Flash and began to dance around him, almost seductively. Flash began to feel frighten, not only because he felt very shy that three good looking girls were dancing around him, but also he realized that are trying to mind control him.

"Ah, ah-ah, ah-ahh. Ah, ah-ah, ah-ahh."

As they were singing their soothing tune, the siren's dancing become closer and closer towards Flash. There weren't any skin contact (or anything that would be in a porno), but they were touching parts of his body. Sonata even leaned up against him and were looking right into his eyes.

After they finished singing, the room was utterly silent as the sirens was waiting to see if their hypnotism worked. After a few moments of looking at a very surprised and petrified Flash, they all become shocked when he began to move away very awkwardly.

A very embarrassed and crept out Flash says to them: "Well... uh... That was... a bit too really close" before loosing balance and landed on his butt.

The sirens were puzzled as they didn't got what they wanted. They were hoping him to be in a daze and were willing to do whatever they say. At the very least, they were expected him to be very irritated as they light some deep down anger. But instead, Flash was still acting like himself and the sirens was left confused.

Adagio yelled: "It Didn't Worked!" in irritation as her plan didn't worked.

"What's Going On!" demanded Aria.

Still reeling on the floor, Flash quickly notice three very angry sirens standing over him and looking wanting answers. "About that..." he chuckled as picked himself. "... Those aren't your gems. They are some rubies that I got from a friend that looked like your gems."

"WHAT!" all three sirens yelled.

"So... These are just fakes?" Aria angrily asked.

Flash wanted to say they were real rubies, but he wasn't one hundred percent sure on that. So instead he said: "Yes, but that doesn't really matters."

Adagio, Aria and even Sonata had their arms crossed at him as they were expecting some half-assed excuse.

"Don't you see? You don't need your gems to sing. You still had that talent in you all along and you just need a little confidents to get it out. Ok, you did get "all" of your talents back. But... do you really need it?"

After a silent moment to ponder, they found it really hard to be mad at him. They didn't think he was playing a trick on them was actually quite thankful to him. Even though they weren't the ones that they had, they still feel like that they got their gems back and now they feel like they can sing again. The only problem they now face is to admit it.

Sonata found it easy and was the first one to say it. "Well, since you put it like that..." she said before she rush up and gave Flash a hug. Adagio and Aria covered their faces to hide their grins as they found it both embarrassing and humours.

It did lighten their moods up a little bit though as Aria felt a bit more comfortable to admit her feelings. "Yeah, well... it was a really nice thing that you did.

"So we cool?" Flash asked as he was trying to escape from Sonata's hug.

"Yeah, we cool" she replied.

The last person that Flash wanted to hear from was Adagio who was trying her best to look away from him. She wanted to say her gratitude, but she still felt too prideful to say anything, despite how petty it was. She shrugged her shoulders, hoping that would be good enough. As everyone was still waiting for a proper answer, Adagio just rushed out and said: "THANKS! Make me read my diary why don't ya."

"Well that's good" Flash replied cheerfully as he was feeling that he was making some real progress with them. He then says: "And since you got your voices back, I got that you might be interested in."

Once he got their intrigue, Flash then took something out of his pocket... or at least he wanted to. As he was searching his pocket, he discovered that what he wanted wasn't in there. Flash searched any other pockets that he has, but he just couldn't find it. "No, wait, hang on a second" he told the sirens as he began a frantic searched around his body. Aria and Adagio slowly began to laugh as Flash was making a fool out of himself.

But then, Sonata got Flash's attention and then says to him: "Is this what you looking for?" She then handed the a poster which Flash was looking at before they arrived.

"Yes!" he replied excitedly as he took the poster off her. "Thanks a lot Sonata."

"No problem" she replied while making the cutest face that she can. When she notice Aria was giving her a grin, she elbowed her.

Before Aria could get he revenge, Flash then showed everyone the poster. It was bands of silhouettes that looked like they were battling with the apt words of "Clash Of The Bands!" written on top. Something else that got their notice that was written on top was "Pop Star Bar", the name of a little karaoke bar that they know about.

"Do you remember the Battle Of The Bands that ended... kind of inconclusively?" Flash asked hesitantly. Death glares from all three of them was enough for him to tell that they all remembered. "Well, you see, some of the bands that took part in that is coming together to see who is really the best without all the fighting... and the mind control." As Adagio took the poster off him so she and the others could have a closer look, Flash then added: "Even my band is competing."

As the other two was still looking at the poster, Adagio gave Flash a glare that subtly tells him: "Are you really expecting us to do this?" She know full well that this would be something that the other students in the school would be interested in and they all still hate them. If they enter, everyone will probably think they will be up to something and/or get ridiculed.

Flash disclaimed: "You don't have to do it if you don't want to. It was just something that you might be interested in."

As Adagio was about to tell him that they think they won't join, Sonata notice something that might be important. "Hey, look at this" she whispered loudly to her friends. Sonata then points to the list of bands that is already on board. Aside from "Trixie And The Illusions" and "Flash Drive", the one that really got the sirens notice was the special competing band: "The Rainbooms." Seeing the name of the band of their archenemies made Adagio realize that this could be their chance for revenge. It's been well known that the Rainbooms will only be performing on special occasions and this could be their only chance.

Before Aria and Sonata could agree on it, Adagio says to Flash: "Ok... We're in."

Episode 2C: They're Back With A Flash

"Remind me again, why are we doing this again?" Aria moaned as she was slowly keeping up with a very enthusiastic Adagio.

"Don't you see, this is our chance to get revenge" replied Adagio. "If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have lost our powers and no one would be making fun of us. It’s All Their Fault!"

Personally, Aria would put the blame on Adagio. However, she did the song and dance before and she was beyond bored by that point. And truth be told, she would love to give some payback to the people who took her singing voice away.

After the Dazzlings discovered that the Rainbooms would be entering a local band contest at their preferred place in the city, they finished their meeting with Flash and instantly making their way over there. Adagio, Aria and Sonata was walking down the street and moving past anybody who gets in their way. Anybody who saw them could see their determination in their eyes and see that they should move out of their way because nothing could stop them.

When they finally found Pop Star Bar, they made a loud entrance when they slam open the door and come in all at once. However, the only person who was there was the manager as no has arrived yet. Everyone else is still in school and the sirens were still on their suspension. The manager found it weird that girls which he assumed to be students would be coming in so early, but he wasn't bothered by it as he thought they would be paying customers. The Dazzling also found it noticeably comforting as they were the only one there, but they didn't care. They spotted the sign-up sheet for the Clash of the Bands was hanging up on the wall and moving around the table to get to it.

When they arrived at the sign-up sheet, they thought that it would be best to see who is already signed on before they signed it themselves. Adagio's blood boiled when they saw the Rainbooms signed on there and the only thing that calmed her down is the thought of her and her girls trashing them onstage. They notice Flash's band, Flash Drive, and while they now have a good opinion on the guy, they don't have any thoughts on his band. The only other band that got their interests besides the Rainbooms was Trixie and the Illusions. They all clearly remembered Trixie as she left a clear impression onto them, like she does with everyone. However, they always thought that Trixie was quite a fool as they thought that she constantly embarrassing herself. The last band that they see was one that called: "The Crusaders", but the name wasn't good enough to get their interest.

Once they have seen all the bands that were on there, now it was the time to add their name to it. Adagio grabbed the pen dangling beside the sheet and was going to put in their names. However, before the pen could even touch the paper, Aria's hand appeared and got in the way from signing.

Once she see who's hand it belongs to, Adagio became crossed with Aria and asks: "What do you're doing?"

Aria retorts by asking: "What are you gonna put down?"

"Our Name, The Dazzlings!" Adagio answered.

Aria then Told Adagio: "You are not gonna put down the Dazzlings."

"Look, you agreed that our group should be named after me a long time ago, so don't go starting a fight over it now."

Aria told her: "That's not the point." she explains to her: "Once they see that our name is in the lineup, no way they would attend at they would think that we would hypnotize them again."

Begrudgingly, Adagio admitted: "... You got a point. If that is willing to put the Rain-Brooms on his posters, who wouldn't say that he won't put our name up." She then put the pen into Aria's hand and then says: "Ok Then! You put down what our name should be."

Seizing the opportunity, Aria and wrote down "The Blazers" on the sign-up sheet. However, when Adagio saw what she put down, she snatches the pen back from Aria and scribble out what she put down.

"HEY!" Aria screamed in anger.

Adagio then crosses her arms and told her: "We Are Not Calling Ourselves The Blazers!"

"Why Not!? We Have Been Going Under Your Surname All This Time! Why Not Mine!?" Aria retorted.

"Yeah! But The Blazers sounds like a stupid hard rockers group from the 90's" Adagio replied. She then rhetorically asked: "Do we play stupid rock music?"

"True" she admitted. But then she added: "But can you come up with a better name?"

Still crossing her arms, Adagio thought hard to think up a name besides "The Dazzlings." When she couldn't think of anything, she turned to Sonata and says to her: "Sonata!"

"Huh!" replied Sonata who was caught off guard.

"You keep reminding us how much smarter you've gotten. Do you have a name?"

When Adagio asked her that, Sonata began to ponder as she was coming up with a clever name. Aria smirked at Adagio as she had to rely on Sonata. However, the both of them became surprisingly frozen when Sonata replied to them:

"Well... We're sirens. And in this world, sirens are like half-fish like people. And when person think of someone whose half fish, they would think of...

"The Mermaids!" called the manager after he read the sign-up sheet when the Dazzlings handed it to him. Adagio and Aria glared at a very proud Sonata because for the first time, she said something which her friends considered to be smart.

"Alright then "Mermaids..." says the manager as he was looking at the sirens. “... The event is on Saturday at 12:00 o'clock. However, you need to come in several hours early to set all of your equipment and instruments that you would be using."

"We don't use instruments. We're all vocalists" replied Adagio while hiding that she still miffed by the name.

"That's Great!" he said cheerfully. "That saves me extra money on my electric bill."

Aria interrupts the guy's happy mood however when she asks him: "Hey, will there be prizes or rewards and that? I notice that you haven't put down what we will be getting if we win."

While not making direct eye contact, the manager told them: "Yeah well... it will be stuff like a brand new cell phones, a discount on the house and bragging rights." However, he did make eye contact with the sirens when he added: "The crowd will decide on who they think is the best one group. However, I have a special reward for the band that I like and trust me, it's a doozy."

When he said that, the sirens made a mental note of it as they found what he just said as interesting and important. After he wished them good luck on the contest, the sirens left the bar and going to prepare themselves for when they face the Rainbooms.

As the days go by, the sirens become increasingly nervous as the Clash becomes closer and closer. They practice at their homes so no one could catch how good they were. This would be the first time that they recall practicing for an event and they want to make sure that they won't lose their ability to sing again.

And while "The Mermaids" were busy practicing, teens began buying their tickets in drones for the Clash of the Bands. As well as being eligible to vote, everybody who buys a ticket also gets 5% off during the event. Almost everyone from Canterlot High becomes intrigued and enticed when they discover who was performing and went to but their ticket. They were imagining that this would be a second Battle of the Bands event and there won't be any good vs. evil battle to stop it. Unfortunately, they all are completely ignorant on who would really be performing on the event as they never gave "The Mermaids" a second thought.

When the day of the event finally arrives, Pop Star Bar became pact full of teens and Canterlot students as there were waiting for the show to begin. As the manager see the jam-packed room full of teens, he knows that he will get a wealthy profit at the end of all of this and tries his best to keep in his excitement.

Meanwhile at backstage, tension was high as all of the bands were making all of their last minute preparations that they need for the performances. Flash made sure that his guitar has the perfect tune and also making sure that his band mates were doing the same for their instruments. Trixie was confidents about her instruments and the only thing that she was looking over is the special effects that she would be using and telling her groupies not to out shine her. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were practicing their choreography and trying their best not to hit each other or anything else around them.

However, the band that had the most trouble preparing was surprisingly the Rainbooms as their most trusted song writer had misplaced the song that they would be using.

"What The Heck Fluttershy!" yelled a very angry Rainbow Dash as she was letting the stress getting to her.

"I'm sorry Rainbow Dash" apologized a very intimidated and regretful Fluttershy. "I thought that I left my notebook at the music. But when I went and tried to find it, it wasn't there."

Rainbow Dash moved away from Fluttershy and she was afraid to what she might say or do to her if she lost control of herself. With her best effort, the only thing that got out was angry growls and screaming.

"Did you check to see if anybody else handed it in or..." asked Rarity to Fluttershy, hoping that it might help.

However, her hopes were dashed when Fluttershy regretfully nodded side-to-side and says: "I already check lost and found and they say that none has handed it in."

As things were looking grim for the Rainbooms, Sunset asked in desperation: "Well... do you really need your notebook? Can you teach us the song without it?"

Trying to keep the last hope alive, Fluttershy desperately tries to come up the best way to explain the song to them in the fastest way possible. However, everyone could see that it was causing Fluttershy a bit of distress.

Applejack stopped Fluttershy when she placed her hand on her shoulder and then told everyone: "Look! There isn't enough time to learn a new song and perfected it in time. We just have to go with one of our old songs."

"But We Used All of Our Old Songs during the Battle of the Bands!" pointed our Rainbow Dash when she interjected. "It wouldn't have the same impact like it did back then."

"Then do you have a better idea then Rainbow Dash?" rebutted Applejack as she hold Fluttershy under her arms.

She hates to admit it, but Rainbow Dash did not have an answer for that and begrudgingly accepts Applejack's point. And when she notices how torn and upset Fluttershy's expression was, she just felt guilty for putting pressure on her.

"Alright, Fine!" says Rainbow. "I guess we don't really have a choice."

"I'm Sorry" apologized Fluttershy.

"Don't be" Dash replied and trying to reassure her that everything is ok.

However, before they begin to discuss which song they are gonna use, the back door slammed open as the last band has finally arrives. As everyone look to see what was going on, all was either shocked or surprised when they see that it was the Dazzlings as they slowly enters the room. Even though they still don't feed or absorb the anger and hatred from people, the siren could still feel it emanating from everyone them. Trixie, The Crusaders and even Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were suspicious to what they are doing there and was afraid that they are up to something. Meanwhile, Flash, Sunset and the rest of the Rainbooms were more concerned than angry as they still have some sympathy for them.

Just before they reached the last free space in the room, Trixie and her groupies intercept them and blocking their way. "What do you think you're doing here sirens!?" asked Trixie in a hostile manner.

"We are trying to prepare, Thank You Very Much!" replied Adagio which Trixie got her into a sour mood.

"Prepare For What!? Are you gonna use your weird magic to turn the crowd against Trixie? Are you gonna make them throw tomatoes at Trixie?"

"What! No!" replied Aria who felt offended. "We just meant to get ready to perform. We are not doing anything evil."

A confused Apple Bloom decided to chip-in and yelled: "Wait! Perform!? But we didn't see your names in the line up?"

Aria explains to her: "We had to use a fake name. Were the Mermaid." And when she sees Sonata smiling over the name, Aria added: "And it was this idiot who thought of it."

"HEY!" yelled Sonata in protest. When everyone looked at Sonata, they all found it believable that she would come up with the name.

Getting back on topic, Adagio declared to Trixie: "Look, we are not doing anything evil. Ok?"

"That what they always say" Trixie responded. However, she heard a very loud, throat-clearing cough and her attention were directed towards a very upset and offended Sunset. But despite her argument become slight weakened, Trixie still stand strong against. "Humph… Whatever.” Even if you not up to something, Trixie still have some beef with you. You've tricked Trixie and got her involved in your evil scheme."

"Wow! Wow! Wow! We didn't tricked anyone" Adagio replied. "We never told you to do anything. What you did is all your own doing."

"Yeah!" Sonata added. "All we told you was how unfair the finals were and the hidden trapped door under the stage." However, when she notices everyone was staring at her, especially from Adagio and Aria, she quickly realized that she said something that she shouldn't have.

Before things could escalate, Flash got in-between Trixie and the siren and see if he can defuse the situation. "Calm down" he yelled out to everyone. "If you start a fight now, you might be disqualified." Trixie backed-off, but tension is still high in the air as they glare intensely at each other. Flash got in front of Trixie and then told her: "Look, I know this might be hard to believe, but they are trying to get nicer. Let just give them a chance."

Unfortunately, despite how much he preaches, Trixie is still disbelieving. She still strongly believes that they haven't changed and thinks she can prove it. "Trixie isn't worried" she stated. "Even if you have an evil plan up your sleeve, Sunset Shimmer told everyone that she can trashed it like what happened last time."

"What!" yelled Sunset when she heard Trixie's lie.

"What" Adagio yelled angrily as she buys into Trixie's lie.

A boiling Rage was light within Adagio as her eyes shot out towards Sunset and felt a growing desire to violently assault her. All was frighten to the recently released monster and Trixie quickly regretted what she has said. Sunset shaking in fear as she sees Adagio storming towards with Sonata and Aria who was failing to stop her.

And when she finally got up to her, Adagio raised her fist in violent intent and was prepared to slam it down on Sunset Shimmer. But miraculously, Sunset was saved when realization struck Adagio. As she looked down at a trembling Sunset, Adagio began to consider the side effects and ramifications of getting her revenge now. It doesn't matter how big or how small it was, any sort of revenge would be good for her. But she remembered that if she hit her, her and her band would get disqualified from the contest. Hitting her would be a foolish and unwise decision.

So then, before anyone could say anything, Adagio clamed herself down and retracted her fist. Everyone was amazed that Adagio has stopped herself and Flash was left impressed. She calmly walked away from Sunset and her astonished friends followed suit. Rarity checked on Sunset, who still couldn't believed what happened. And as she was walking pass Trixie, Adagio replied to her: "Nice try Trixie, but I am not that easily fooled."

Trixie was mixed about the outcome. On one hand: she was still miffed because her plan has failed. But on the other hand, she was frighten so much, she was sort of glad that no one got hurt. Trixie decide to accept what she have gotten and forget about the sirens for now.

When the sirens was finally alone within their little corner of the room, they just sit around so Adagio could have a chance to cool down properly. When he looked at them, Flash was happy and was thinking that they are making some progress. However, unbeknownst to everyone in the room except for maybe Aria and Sonata, Adagio still has a raging passion for revenge and was scheming up some other to get it.

Sometime later, the contest was in full swing as the crowd was cheering for Flash Drive (especially the female members of the audience). They didn't cheered as hard for The Crusaders, but their performance usually made the crowd. Flash was singing about "a friend" who is "far, far away" and "can't wait to see her them again." Everyone knows who he was talking about, especially the Rainbooms, but the girls in the crowd pretend that he means them. Once they finished, Flash Drive left the stage with the crowd applauding the loudest so far.

When Flash and his band returned back stage, Trixie and her group was the first one to greet them back. "Bravo" complimented Trixie before she add: "Now watch what I got up my sleeve."

Flash could tell that she was trying to intimidate him, but it wasn't working. Still trying to be a good sport, he replied: "Well... good luck out there."

Trixie took the complement with a smile and her group went on stage when their name was called. However, after hearing the first few notice, everyone quickly realised that she was singing "The Trick Up My Sleeve" again. The only thing that was different was the different magic tricks that Trixie was doing and the special effects that she was using. Despite the fact  that everyone already heard the song at least 3 times now, it was still catchy enough and the crowd was mildly enjoying the special effects and the tricks.

Meanwhile, Flash and his band was unwinding after their performance and was enjoying to be catching their breath. When he looked over towards the Rainbooms, he notice that they finally getting everything sorted and was just pumping up their moral. As he was feeling glad for them, Flash gotten his shoulders tapped and notice a very eager and shy Sonata who says to him:

"Flash... your performance was great."

"Thanks Sonata" replied Flash who appreciated her comment. However, he notice that she also dragged Aria along and wasn't looking particularly happy. Concerned, he asked her: "What's up Aria?"

When she realized that she was being spoken to, Aria looked up and replied: "Huh!? Oh! Yeah, I'm alright."

Flash instantly could tell that she was fibbing to him. He then notice that she was looking towards the Rainbooms and slowly figuring out what her problem was. "Nervous?" he says to her.

"What! No!" Aria denied as she looks away from him. However, she notice that was still not buying and hesitantly admitted: "Sort of... Just a little."

After having a little chuckle, Flash told her: "Don't worry. You'll be great."

"Thanks" Aria replied gratefully. "It just we that we haven't sung in a long time and the fact that everyone still hates us."

"Don't worry" he told her. "Once they see how much you've all changed, they will defiantly change their tunes. And you have defiantly changed. Just look at..."

But then, Flash stopped speaking when realized something; Adagio wasn't with them. He scan across the room and couldn't find neither hide nor hair of her. Dread began to sweal within him and began to worry that she might be up to something. Flash didn't like to think that she was, but it was a possibility that he shouldn't ignore.

"Hey, where's Adagio?" Flash asked with a hint of worry.

And just then, both Aria and Sonata expression changed, almost like Flash realized something which they didn't want him to. Replying as Nonchalantly as she could, Aria told him: "I don't know? Didn't she say that she was heading for the rest room Sonata?"

"... Yeah" Sonata replied, but she didn't say it with much confidents.

"Oh No" Flash thought as he could tell that they were lying. No way that they were acting natural and his concern was becoming a bit more legitimate my the second. Was she still upset about Trixie's lie or was it against Sunset Shimmer OR was it her plan from the start. Either way, Flash needed to find her as soon as possible so he can put his doubts to rest.

Aria then realized that Flash has figured everything out and know what they have been fibbing to him. Normally, she would try to carry on the lie as long as possible until Adagio was back. However, when she look as Flash's stern face that he was giving them, she didn't feel like doing it. She didn't know why, but Aria felt like that she had disappointed him or maybe she really had changed for the better. But instead of just telling him, she nudge at Sonata and try to hint at her to tell the truth.

Sonata was confused because even she agreed to keep it a secret. But she got the message none the less and says to Flash: "... But I saw her going under the stage."

Pretending to be angry but didn't care at all, Aria "yelled" at Sonata" "Sonata! No! You shouldn't have said that."

Even through he was glad that they told him (and was amused by how they told him), Flash didn't really have time to thank them properly as he felt like that he need to stop Adagio. He quickly told them: "Thanks" before he runs off.

Aria and Sonata was left on their own, didn't really know how they should feel.

While Trixie was showing off on top of the stage (and not noticing that the audience was getting slight bored), Adagio was scurrying around under the stage and manoeuvring around wires with limited light. And while Trixie has as much space as she wants, Adagio was cramped because of the wiring and just how small the space was . But she wasn't complaining. Trixie was giving a perfect cover that it would be impossible for anybody to hear her moving around underneath. But that also gave Adagio a deadline so she was moving as fast as she can.

Even though it was difficult to see down there, Adagio could sort of tell where some of the wires was going just by feeling around. She was trying to find the leads that connects the instruments to the speaker system. If she could find it before the Rainbooms makes their performance, she can distort their music so much that it would be unbearable.

After some nerve wracking moments of searching blindly, Adagio finally found something where the wires are connected to something. After she checked the labels that were on the wires and the sockets, Adagio was confident that she found what she was looking for. If she mess around with these wires, putting them in the wrong sockets, she could completely ruin the Rainbooms chance of winning. She could pull just everything out so they wouldn't make any music, but could easily tell that foul play was afoot.

Adagio listen to everything on top of her and she could tell that Trixie's performance was wrapping up. Adagio waited until she could faintly make out the sound of people clapping and applauding before she makes her move. But then, just as she was about to touch the first wire, she suddenly heard somebody else coming under the stage.

"Adagio! Adagio! Where Are You!?" Flash whispered loudly and trying not to be heard as well.

"Flash!" Adagio thought out loud and accidently gives away her position. When Flash quickly spotted her, Adagio hit herself for making suck a rookie's mistake.

"What are you doing under her Adagio?" Flash asked angrily. "Get out from under here before you get disqualified.

"No!" she replied. "Not before I get my pay back."

"Pay Back! To who?"

"TO THAT NO GOOD, SPOILT, GOODIE-TWO-SHOES SUNSET SHIMMER!" Adagio angrily replied and was loud enough that both of them feared that she was heard.

Fortunately, nobody heard them. In fact, Flash and Adagio could hear the manager introducing the next band. "And now ladies and gentlemen, the band that you have be waiting for... THE RAINBOOMS!"

As she heard the audience began making their applaud and the Rainbooms began making their way on stage, Adagio realized that she have to make her move now. At the very least, she could cut their music in the middle of their performance. But before she could do anything, Flash yelled at her to stop.

"Stop! I don't know why you hate Sunset Shimmer, but you can't... "

"You Don't Know!?" Adagio responded as her mind began to crack by both the pressure and her anger. "If it wasn't for her, my life wouldn't be so miserable. I would still have my powers, nobody would make fun of me and nobody would be comparing me to her. How come she can't be like Sunset Shimmer? Sunset Shimmer was some much nicer. She's nothing like Sunset Shimmer during her redemption. How Come Gets A Free Pass And I Get Nothing But Ridicule!? HOW!?

Flash replies to her: "Because she knows what it feels like." He then explains: "If she continued being mean to people, then no way would she have earned their forgiveness. The only way to get respect is by giving it. You want people to like you, right?"

"Y-Yeah!?"

"Then how can you expect people to like you if continue being cold and mean to everybody? If continue... continue being a monster, then I can't be your friend anymore."

Flash's words hit Adagio hard. For some reason, hearing Flash that he wouldn't be her friend anymore actually hurts her emotionally. And Somehow, she could sort of see where he was coming from.

For as long as she can remember, Adagio always wanted to be adored and be loved by many people. She never thought about being genuinely nice to anybody, only pretending to be nice just to get what she wanted.

And as she began to realize how monstrous she was. notice Flash began to leave her. He didn't a word to her, just giving her a cold stare as he went up above. Adagio was alone under the stage and nothing was stopping her from having her revenge. But as look at the wires, Adagio desire for revenge... was gone.

As Flash got out from under the floor, he quickly notice that the Rainbooms had already finished. As Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash and the rest of them return, he could see that they aren't as happy as they should have been.

"Hey Rainbow Dash, what's the matter?" Flash ask to Rainbow, worried that Adagio continued her plan.

"Not good" Rainbow replied depressingly. "This was meant to be the Rainboom's great comeback... and we blew it."

As Flash was worrying the worst has happened, Sunset but in and explains: "Don't mind her Flash. She's still upset that we didn't get to play a new song."

"I'm sorry Rainbow Dash" apologized Fluttershy.

"I told you Fluttershy, it's ok" Rainbow Dash replied as she was getting annoyed by her apologizes.

After seeing the two argue for a little bit, Sunset told Flash: "We actually did really good."

Hesitantly, Flash asked her: "And there wasn't any other problems?"

"No. Why?

"No reason"

As the rest of them went and have their rest, Flash went back and see Aria and Sonata who was quietly minding their own business. When Flash went up to them, they suddenly became startled. He thought they were surprised to see him, that is until Aria point to someone behind him. When he looked around him, he suddenly saw Adagio. Adagio had her arms crossed and didn't look particularly happy. She looked away and says to Flash:

"I didn't mess with the wires."

It took a moment to process it, but Flash was really glad that she didn't do it. "Thanks Adagio" complemented Flash.

Looking away from him, Adagio reply to him:"Yeah well... I still really hate Sunset Shimmer."

"I didn't ask you to like her" Flash said to her. "Just... treat people how you want to be treated."

Adagio didn't lighten up her mood, but Flash could tell that she appreciated the advice. Aria then went up to her and says: "Wow... I can't believe that you didn't do it."

"Yeah well... I just couldn't stand being down there any longer" Adagio replied to her. trying to be cool about.

Everyone's mood suddenly changes when the sounds coming from the crowd began leaking to the back stage. Slowly, their confidents began seeping away and doubt was taking it's place. Aria thought out loud to everybody: "Well then... I guess we are doing this for real then."

Hoping it would help get their confidents back, Flash told the sirens: "Don't worry about what everybody will think. Just get out there and try your best."

Suddenly, they all began hearing the manager introducing the last band of the contest. "And now then ladies and gentlemen, the last band of the evening. Will they surpass all the bands that come before, or will they be over shadow by them instead. Well at least give them a welcoming hand as The Mermaids splash their way on stage. Come On Out Ladies!"

As the audience began cheering for them to get out, Adagio, Aria and Sonata realize that their time is now. "Well then girls... I got you all into this mess, so lets try to make the best of it."

Episode 2D: They're Back With A Flash

It was the finale of the Clash of the Bands and only The Mermaids was left to make their performance. Everyone was actually quite anxious and curious on what the last band is going to be like. Up until now, all the others bands wasn't as good as they were hoping. So far, Trixie and the Illusions was the biggest disappointment and nobody wants to talk about The Crusader's performance. Flash Drive was fairly decent and everyone assumes they would be 3rd or 2nd place. The Rainbooms was the fan favourite band and is the most expected to win, but they would be lying if there wasn't a bias in their decision. But nobody have ever heard of "The Mermaids" before and some was expecting to be surprise. Unfortunately, they will defiantly be surprised once they found out who The Mermaids really is.

But as everyone was talking and enjoying the food, nobody notice that Sunset Shimmer had slipped into the crowd. She knows that The Dazzlings is coming up next and also know that nobody would be happy to see them. She didn't know what she can do to stop the crowd from leaving the second that they see them, but Sunset feels that she would be more helpful there then at backstage. As nervous expectations was flying around her head, all of Sunset's thoughts came to a halt when the manager of the establishment came out on stage.

As the manager arrived on stage with the microphone, he announces: "And now then ladies and gentlemen, the last band of the evening. Will they surpass all the bands that come before, or will they be over shadow by them instead. Well at least give them a welcoming hand as The Mermaids splash their way on stage. Come On Out Ladies!"

And once he finish speaking, he then rush off stage and the special effects take over. Mist covered the floor and spill to the seats closest to the stage. Rainbow lights shot out and brighten up the stage. As everyone's intrigue was rising to new heights of the night, Sunset cross her fingers and wishing everything goes well with the sirens. But just before the background was about to play, Vinyl Scratch, who was the DJ, scratched her head when she saw the CD and hesitantly put it in the player.

As the music started playing and beating was starting to beat, something slowly began to click with the students. The music was soothing and was almost hypnotic, but there was something that feels familiar about it but couldn't put their fingers on it. It wasn't until the recognizable voices began to ring out that they finally remember.

""Ah, ah-ah, ah-ahh. Ah, ah-ah, ah-ahh."

As they make their slow appearance, everyone saw the shadows of the Dazzlings first before the curtains risen to show Adagio Dazzling, Arai Blaze and Sonata Dusk. Singing louder and louder until they made centre stage where their voices suddenly drop and became more sombre.

"Ah, ah-ah, ah-ahh. Ah, ah-ah, ah-ahh."

Once they all realize who was singing, almost half of the audience jumped out of their seats. All were thinking that the sirens had gotten their magic back and is trying to hypnotise them again. Except for those who were too shock to move, the rest began making their leave from the club. As they there were walking past her, Sunset Shimmer try to frantically to come up with an idea on how to stop them.

However, everyone stop when Adagio began singing the lyrics of their song. She sounded less manipulative and more apologetic. Singing how they "failed to take control" and now is being "shunned by all". The people who was leaving was surprised for them to pause and think. Some even look at each to check if they aren't being mind controlled. Sunset also see this as a good sign.

As the crowd hesitantly return to their seats, the sirens begin singing a bit more passionately. They were singing that even thought they did some bad things, they still want to be treated a little bit kindly. Aria had a moment to sing that she gets easily hurt by cruel words and Sonata sings that she doesn't want her "flavours" to be taken away from her. And as Adagio was sings about respect, she says that they will give their respect if everyone also respects them. Everyone who was hearing them wasn't sure if they were apologizing or manipulative guilt tripping.

And when they were finishing their song, the Dazzlings become quieter and quieter until they become eerily silent.

"Ah, ah-ah, ah-ahh. Ah, ah-ah, ah-ahh."

Once they finish, everyone was just frozen in time, slowly deciding on what their opinion should be. The cold silence filled the sirens full of doubt and they left the stage with shame and embarrassment. However, once they got behind the curtain, the Dazzlings suddenly begin hearing clapping. No one was cheering or shouting, but the clapping steadily become louder and louder. Sunset Shimmer definitely was overjoyed by the good reception and was clapping along with everybody else. They didn't know what to make of this, but it did make the experience less depressing for them.

Everyone began discussing amongst themselves and shearing their opinions. But the hottest topic that they were talking about was the Dazzlings. While some strongly feels guilty and others believes it's just an act, most were stuck in the middle. The fact that they must also pick their favourite band didn't helped either when the waitresses began handing out voting sheets.

Meanwhile, at backstage, the groups was about to discuss on who they think is going to win the contest. Sunset managed to get back just in time so the only people who notice she was gone was her friends. Sunset also looked over towards the sirens who didn't look particularly excited.

"So... what the chance of us winning this?" asked Aria as she offhandedly remarked to her friends.

"Not a lot" bluntly replied Adagio.

The Crusaders, who wasn't too far away from the sirens, overheard them and decided to shipped in. "What are you talking about?" stated Scootaloo. "At least you got a response. We just got blank stares... as always."

"Next time, I'm doing the song writing" stated Sweetie Belle to her fellow Crusaders.

"Yeah. You was great" Flash Sentry added.

"Yeah right, like they are gunna vote for us" Adagio pessimistically replied. "Most likely they are gunna vote for the Rainbooms because everyone loves them."

As the Rainbooms was about to reply to Adagio's remark, Trixie intercept them and was quickly to state: "HA! The real winner of this contest is gunna be Trixie. No one else made as spectacular performance than Trixie."

As Trixie was feeling smug about herself, Rainbow Dash ruined her mood by yelling to her: "In Your Dreams Trixie! At Least We Know More Then One Song!" Trixie was about to argue back, but she notice that her band mates were silently agree with Rainbow.

Hoping to prevent a fight in the room, Applejack says to everyone: "Come on yall. Don't count your chips just yet. Everyone has a chance on winning."

"Aren't we here just to have fun?" Pinkie enquired

Notice that Pinkie Pie said something, Sonata instinctively insults her by says: "How Would A Backstabber Like You knows Anything About Fun!"

Offended, Pinkie yelled back: "I'm The Leading Expert On Fun! I Even Wrote The Textbook On What Is and Isn't Fun!" And to support her statement, Pinkie got out a hardback book with her face on it with the word "FUN TIME!" labelled on top. Unfortunately, it was more of a comic book then a textbook but Pinkie isn't going to admit that.

Before the two girls could continue fighting, Flash and the rest of the Rainbooms stood between their line of sight. Flash looks particularly upset with Sonata since she just sang a song about respect. Sonata felt ashamed, but it was mostly because she upset Flash. However, to prevent her group from being called hypocrites, Adagio help defend Sonata and says:

" Hey now... What's wrong with some playful ribbing from time to time... moderation and all that."

Everyone could clearly see that it was just an excuse, but they will allow it for now. Pinkie Pie's and Sonata's friends waited for them to calm down and once they finally did, the back off from them.

And then all of a sudden, all of them began hearing some commotion that was going on by the stage. When they try to peak around the curtain, they all saw the manager who was about to say something into the microphone and also carrying a few envelops. It looks like he's going to announce the winners.

"Um... Silence please. Can I get your attention please" asked the manager who gabbed the crowd's attention. "First of, the thankyous. The people of the Pop Star Bar, which is me and vinyl, would like to share our gratitude to everyone who is here this evening and the bands who helped to bring in the revenue. To that, I say... Thank You...... And now for the winners."

The tension filled that air when the manager show of the envelops that he was carrying and everyone was growing anxious, especially the groups backstage. The manager says to everyone: "After we counted the votes and we recounted them, we finally found out who the winners were. The winners tonight will get..." He stuttered when he said the next parts. "... De-Discounts at the Pop Star Bar as well as coupons use on a shopping spree." The manager stopped for a moments when Rarity squid when she heard the words "shopping spree". Once her friends calmed Rarity down (Applejack in particular), the manger then went on to finish his announcement which he personally didn't like to say. "And... for the Grand Winners of the Clash of the Bands will get... A 40 PERCENT DISCOUNT AND A 300 DOLLERS SHOPPING SPREE!!"

Once he realize the shocking information cause him to yell, he cleared his throat and calmed himself so he can declare the winners. "Ahem... And The Winners Of The First Clash Of The Bands Is..."

As he was slowly opening the envelop, Vinyl push a button that makes a drum solo that people usually hear at times like these. The tension and the waiting was torturous as everyone wanted to hear who the winners are. The bands backstage was on the edge and despite being pessimistic before, the sirens was slowly wishing for him to say their name. When he finally did open the letter and read the note inside, everyone felt they were being teased as the manager took the moment and act surprised which raised the Dazzlings hopes even more. But as their tension was about to be turn into anger, he finally yells out:

"THE RAINBOOMS!"

In no less then 0.5 seconds after the manager made his announcement that the whole building became filled with loud screaming and excited cheering. Even the Rainbooms themselves was overloaded with joy and thrilled with the news that they accidently screamed into everyone else's ears. They then rushed onto the stage as they so they can great the people who voted for them. Rarity snatchers the coupons from the manager and was hugging it close to her face. And while Sunset and Fluttershy was jumping and squealing together, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Applejack was so excited that they were dancing and shaking wildly on stage.

But while the Hu-mane 6 was acting crazy in front of everyone, the siren's prediction came true. As they were seeing their arch-enemies... actually, more like arch-rivals now. As they were seeing their arch-enemies get all the praise and admiration, Adagio and her friends was clearly envois of them. But they weren't angry. They couldn't explain it, but they didn't feel any anger or hatred for them. They was just disappointed and had their hopes were dashed. But while they accept the cold and harsh reality of their world, something tells them that they should be glad for at least trying. Adagio, Aria and Sonata slipped away and quietly make their leave.

But as they were heading to the exit before anybody could notice, the manager calmed everyone down. "Alright! Calm Down! Calm Down! We Still Not Done Yet!" He then show everyone that he has more envelops and there are more winners. Once the Rainbooms calmed down and behave themselves, he began making his second announcement.

"And Winners Of 2nd Place Are..."

And like before, the manager took his sweet ass time on opening the letter and reading the card. It had gotten so annoying, one or two teens was starting to punching their hands as a sign of violence. It got to a point that the Rainbooms had enough. Pinkie Pie snatch card and the microphone out of the managers hand. When they read the card, they were initially surprised to see who it was but they were ultimately glad to know who it was. The girls share the microphone together and shout in all at once:

"THE MERMAIDS!!!"

It didn't matter what their opinion were, everyone was cheering and congratulating the Dazzlings. And while some of the Rainbooms had their reservations, they were glad that everyone had finally accepted the sirens.

However, Adagio, Aria and Sonata didn't exactly realize that they won. They overheard who the winners were, but they have forgotten or were too depress to remember that they had used an alias. It took Apple Bloom to remember for them and pointed out: "Wait... Wasn't "The Mermaids" your band's name for the contest?"

And at that moments, the siren's minds suddenly clicked as all of them remembered that they did. "Wait What!" they all shouted out in unison. Adagio, Aria and Sonata was hesitant to get onto the stage and was cautious on if it was a trick. However, when they pushed Sonata onto the stage, they realize that it wasn't a trick as the crowd became excited to see her. When Aria and Adagio went onto the stage, the Rainbooms got them and Sonata into the centre of the stage so they can bask in the applauds of the audience. Adagio and her friends witness something that have never seen in their life time: genuine earned fame and admiration of everyone around them. The last ice covered layers of their hearts has finally melted as they grinned and waved to the people who got them there. This was their greatest moment that they ever had.

At the end of the day, the Clash of the Bands was finally over and everyone had a great time. Flash and his band was ranked 3rd was also given some coupons and a discount. In an odd and cruel twist, The Crusaders was crowned as the best comedic group... despite there wasn't any comedy category. Trixie and the Illusions did won anything, but they did get some appraise for the special effects and tricks she used. In the end, the manager got all the groups together so he can get a memorizing photo so he can hang in his restaurant and was hoping he could do the same thing next year.

However, Adagio realized that there are something wrong with their prize. Except for Trixie who got nothing and The Crusaders who got a small cell phone (which they have to share), everyone else got coupons and discounts. But Adagio notice that they have gotten the smallest discount then the others. When she confront the manager over this, the only thing he told her that he wanted to speak with them once everyone had left. Despite Adagio and Aria was miffed by this (while Sonata was mostly indifferent), they all decided to stay and wait.

Once everyone had finally left, the sirens was waiting at the actual bar part of the restaurant and was expecting to hear what the manager has to say. Besides the manager, Vinyl was still around as she was force to clean up all the mess that everyone had left behind.

"So... What do want to talk about?" asked Adagio as has her arms cross at him.

Pretending to act cool and wise as he was cleaning a drinking glass, the manager right out and tell them: "I want to hire you."

"WHAT!" yelled the sirens as they became surprised.

"I want you girls to sing in my club and help attract more customers" reiterate the manager. "My name is Big Bits and I want to make the Pop Star Bar the best place in this town. Yeah sure, I am trying to make money out of this place, but genuinely want this place to shin and a place that everyone should know. And... I want you to help me with that."

As he was saying all of this, Adagio slowly realize something. "Hang-On! Is this the reason you had this music contest here in the first place? Just so you can find a band that can play for you?"

Mr Bits was surprised that she figured it out so fast and was sort of impressed. Seeing there was no point in denying it, he admitted: "Alright... you got me. The Clash was just a little scheme to find the right band that I deeded."

However, Aria realize and pointed out: "But wait, were in 2nd place. Why not pick the band that actually won? Better yet, why did need to do this contest in the first place? You would have save a bit of money you just scouted for a band normally."

After giving a nervous chuckle, Mr Bits explains to her: "Well... Since you got 2nd place, that means that I wouldn't have spend as much money if I had hired the 1st place winners. And besides, you don't need any instruments or special effects. If I would hire the Rainbooms or that magician girl. my bills would go through the roof."

The sirens felt offended by his explanation as he was pretty much telling them that they were cheap. However, when Mr Bits asked them: "So... do you want a job?", they quickly chat amongst themselves if they really want it. After a quick deliberation, Adagio answered on the behalf of the Dazzlings: "...... Sure."

"Great!" he said cheerfully. "Just come in every weekend and perform any appropriate song you want. Also we need to discuss..."

"BUT!... With one small condition" Adagio interrupted, cutting him from talking.

When she said that they have a condition, Mr Bits was a bit afraid on what it was. He hesitantly asks: "... What is it?"

Sonata was the one who explains what the condition was. "We kind of need our first payment now."

Once he found out what it was, he thought that it wasn't all that bad. Spending a bit more money, sure. At least they weren't asking for lavish working conditions or anything really expensive. Mr Bits replied: "Sure, but why?"

Sonata laughed sheepishly. "He he he... We kind of need that money to go back to school. I... kind trashed our school's cafeteria in a blind rampage and we got suspended for it."

Once her heard the explanation, Mr Big Bits lost his cheerful expression.

On the next school, Sunset was making her friendship report to Princess Twilight by her locker. Not only saying how to earn other people's respect, but she also report on how the sirens were getting better. Not only did they paid off the damages they done and now students again, but now nobody is picking or starting a fight with them. They aren't actively trying to do good things, in fact, they were still reluctant, but they at least they are a lot nicer then before.

But as she was finish writing, she accidently got bumped into Flash Sentry. And while his fast reflexes, not only did he catched Sunset but also her book as well from hitting the ground.

Once he see who he catched, Flash remarked: "Oh!... Sunset."

Once she got back on her feet, Sunset sheepishly replied: "Um... thanks Flash." The two then started blushing as they remembered that they dated once.

Once they got over this moments, Sunset says to Flash: "And thanks for helping out the sirens."

"No problem" he replied. "It was no problem. But why didn't you helped them? Didn't Principal Celestia asked you to be their consoler?"

Sunset admitted: "She did." She then explains: "But I heard that Adagio really hated me. I don't what she would have done if I went over to them? Sorry."

"I said it was not problem" Flash replied. "The worst that came out of it was..."

And then suddenly, the both of them heard someone yelling: "FLASH!" When they look around, they spotted a very eager and infatuation Sonata. "Flash! Do You Want To Have Lunch Together!"

Seeing an obsessed fan girl is head this way, Flash told Sunset: "Sorry Sunset, got to go" before running off.

"Flash! Wait Up!" yelled Sonata as she chases after him.

Sunset got nothing to comment on this scene other then a happy smile.
