Holy Grail War Arc

Week one day seven: Knight vs Pirate

[Morning]

“Today is the Elimination Battle. I hope you’re fully prepared.” Kotomine said as he appeared behind Sweetie Belle and Saber as they turned around to see him.

“We are.” Saber answered while Sweetie Belle nodded in turn.

“Come to me when you’re ready. You can do something trifling like stop by the commissary if needed.” He said as he turned around and exited the room.

“First Elimination of the week. How are you feeling Sweetie Belle?”

“Like I’m about to throw up...Do we have to do this?”

“If I knew of another way around this, then we would’ve been gone by now. We have no choice but to fight.” Saber said as she placed a hand on the young girl as she kneels down. “Like I said before, leave the fighting to me. Just help me out with support and stuff.”

“O….Okay.” Sweetie Belle said with a small smile on her face.

“Alright, before we can go fight Shinji, we need to look over the information that we gathered during the week.”

“Right, going into a battle without knowing what our enemy is would be dangerous and reckless. So what do we know so far about our opponents?”

“Shinji Matou…..well for one thing he’s an arrogant asshole nuff said. Though the weapon that his treasured Servant wields is a pair of dual-wielding old-fashioned pistols. She and the socially retarded Shinji made a good pair of troublemakers.”

“Almost like she’s a wild big sister for him.” Sweetie Belle said as Saber chuckled. “Let’s not forget about the note that Shinji hid from us about his Servant. From what I’ve read her Noble Phantasm was some kind of ship.”

“The paper that we got was old and the handwriting scratchy, but it was a ship called the Golden Hind. Which makes sense after having a second fight with her.”

“So that means she's a Rider class Servant?”

“Seems like it seeing how Archer class Servants don’t use ships as their Noble Phantasm. I mean duel pistols yeah, but not ships.” Saber said as she placed a hand to her chin for a moment before her eyes widen and snaps her fingers. “Francis Drake.”

“Francis Drake?”

“A renowned pirate from my world before I was displaced to Equestria. She circumnavigated the world around the Cape of Good Hope. Though in history she’s not a girl, but a man who gained instant fame after destroying the Invincible Spanish Armada. I would go into full detail about his...or in this case her history,” Quickly looks over at Sweetie Belle as she notice a bored/confused expression on her face. “But something tells me I should lay off until later. At any rate, it’s a lucky thing we figured out her true name before the Elimination Battle.”

“You have a way to beat them?”

“Yeah, but I’ll need your help support wise. Shinji may be a fool at times, but there’s no arguing that he’s a hacker of incomparable talent. Hope these tidbits of information can bridge the difference in our skill levels. Come on, let’s go to the commissary to get the stuff we need before this evening.”

[Evening]
[School building 1F]

“You will now enter the Coliseum and confront the opposing Master. Are you ready?” Kotomine asked. “Remember, the only way to leave the Coliseum is to win. If you are ready, I will open the gate.” Both Sweetie Belle and Saber looked at each for a moment before nodding their heads. “The way to the Coliseum is now opened young Master. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you will return. Remember: It’s kill or be killed.” Stepping aside from the doorway leading to the Coliseum, Kotomine stood by and watched as Sweetie Belle pulled out the two Cipher key cards needed to enter. The cards quickly flew from out of her hands as they placed themselves onto the door. Once on the door, the chains that surrounded it vanish as they slide open for Saber and Sweetie Belle to enter. Once inside they soon found themselves on an elevator, across from Sweetie Belle and Saber were Shinji and his Servant Rider.

“Look who didn’t chicken out and run away. Oooh right, I forgot following directions is all you’re good at freak.” Shinji said as the elevator they’re in began to go down. “Get a clue, huh? Well, you can’t say I didn’t show you how awesome I was in the prep period. Never in a million years are you going to defeat me. Shoulda ran away when you had the chance!”

“I won’t know unless I try.” Sweetie Belle said as she glared at the human. “I’m going to win this war and return home no matter what.”

“...Excuse me? That’s some bull! Did you forget how I was able to mop the floor with you when we first met? How many times do you plebes have to be reminded that you’ll never be on the level of a genius like me.” The human said before placing a hand on his chin for a second. “But, I guess I better get used to it, since nobody here can defeat me. My Servant El Draque and I are completely invincible. Man you have some seriously shitty luck to have gotten paired with ME in the first round. Don’t worry. Since you’re a creature from another world or something, I’ll make sure you go out with a big bang.”

“I’m starting to get very annoyed at this arrogant asshole.” Saber thought, as glared at Shinji.

“Oh, hey! Check out my great idea! You’ve gotta hear this. Ready?” Shinji asked as Sweetie Belle and Saber looked at each other for a moment before nodding. “Always a goody-two shoes, gotta love it. Well, I hope you’ll take one more direction...why don’t you lose on purpose this time? Anything else is a waste of time! Obviously, even a landslide victory against you will cost me energy. Even decided battles like this one still are unfair because the victor has to waste their strength. That sounds lame, so do me a favor and just throw that match. Then I win, and don’t get hurt, see? Whatcha think? Makes total sense, huh? And you can even feel all warm and fuzzy for helping me out! And there’s something in it for you, right? Cuz if we fought for real, no way my Servant could hold back.Hell, I’ll even throw in some of the prize money I’ll win. All I want is the title, anyway. C’mon, is this a great idea or a great idea? Friends helping each other out and all that jazz.”

“.....This guy can’t be serious?” Saber thought as she looked down at Sweetie Belle. “What’s your answer to his request Sweetie Belle?”

“I….reject your request in letting you win this fight.” Sweetie Belle answered as Saber smiled.

“You really want to fight me, huh?” Shinji asked as he sighs. “You’re a freaking idiot. I feel sorry for you. All this new power at your disposal is giving you an inflated ego.” He said as he looks over at Saber. “Hey, Servant. Why don’t you try talking some sense into the head of your stupid freak of a Master?”

“....Of all the rare idiots I have met, this is by far the most stupefying. A talking rat. All it mouths is gibberish, but still, a rare and impressive creature. A talking bear would at least be more fetching. This rat revels in slime and filth.” Saber answered as a dumbfounded expression appeared on Shinji’s face.

“Whaaa?! How dare you speak about me like that! You’re just a Servant!”

“Hahaha, they have a point, Master.” Rider added as Shinji turned his attention at his Servant.

“H-Hey! Whose side are you on?!”

“Your side, of course. You paid me, so I’ll fight ably by your side. Letting them throw the match would not satisfy either of us. I dislike giving less than my full effort. Let your winning instincts take over. Everything’s better if you fight for it. Food, women, victory. Besides, we’re villains. That means if nothing else we’re allowed to be splashy. If you’re going to be a villain, might as well be as flamboyant as you please. Don’t hold back.”

“I’m not a villain! D-Don’t call me that, you...evil woman!”

“Hahaha! Temper, temper, little one! You’ve got big balls for being such a tiny man. I admire that.” Rider said as she pats Shinji on the head, only for him to smack her hand away.

“Hey, stop! I said stop! Don’t pat my head, you baboon! And you reek of alcohol!”

“...Is it weird that I see them as being perfect for each other?” Sweetie Belle asked as she looked at Saber.

“Well Masters and Servants are sometimes paired by compatibility. I’m more worried that their chemistry will be constructive in battle.” Saber answered as she soon felt the elevator rumbles to a halt. “Guess we’re at our stop?”

“Hmph, I was going to spare your life if you surrendered. But since EVERYBODY insists, I’ll show you the vast difference in our abilities until you cry for mercy. Once El Draque makes Swiss cheese out of you, it’ll be too late!”

(Coliseum)

Upon reaching the end of the elevator ride down to the coliseum, both Masters along with their servants made their way out of the elevator. Once out of the elevator, Sweetie belle and Saber took a quick glance at the battle field that they were going to fight Shinji and Rider on.

“This is the Coliseum? I was kinda expecting some spectators to be watching this fight. Unless they’re watching from a TV or something?” Saber said as she turned her attention to Shinji and Rider.

“All bark and no bite. Right? That’s what they say, isn’t it? Well that’s you!” Shinji said as he makes his way to the middle of the coliseum. “I’m gonna humiliate you so bad that after this game you’ll never crawl out of your mom’s basement!”

“Oh, so your goal isn’t just victory, but humiliation? What a greedy little boy you are, Shinji.” Rider said as she drew out her twin pistols. “Very well, I’ll bring the rope for you to truss them up. Tie them to the mast or whatever your little heart desires.”

“Don’t even think about going easy on them, El Draque. They should have backed down when they could.”

“Hmph, mercy isn’t in my vocabulary. I have a thirst for the finer things in life, and it is all I care for. I may not always have good fortunes, but with humans or bombs, there’s a certain fatal inevitability to life. Now, are you ready to go for broke? It’s time to splurge!” Rider yelled as she charges at Saber with the attempt to take her by surprise by hitting her with her pistols.

Saber drew her sword as she uses it to block the surprise attack and tries to counter with a straight jab with her sword. Rider quickly tilt her head to the side to avoid the jab of her sword, and tries to fire at Saber’s ribcage. The bullets bounced off Saber’s armor as Saber counters with a punch to the face, causing Rider to skid backwards. Once she comes to a halt, Rider looks up with a devilish grin on her face.

“Oh, this is going to be so much fun~!”

“Nice job Saber!” Sweetie Belle said, hopping in the air after seeing her land the first punch.

“Quit messing around El Draque! Finish that Saber off and kill her freak of a master!” Shinji yelled as Saber noticed three digital keyboards and a screen appear around him. “Must I do everything myself?” After pressing a few buttons, Shinji slammed his fist onto the keyboard as Saber felt herself being weaken.

“Dammit, forgot about being able to cast spells during the battle.” Saber said as she felt Rider hit her in the face with her boots, causing Saber to groan in pain. Just as she was about to jab Rider with her sword, she soon felt a sharp pain in her left leg as Rider shot her with a bullet from her pistol.

“Haha! How’d you like that freak!?” Shinji asked as he gloated at his servant’s handy work. “You should’ve taken my offer and lost the match on purpose!”

“You okay Saber!” Sweetie Belle asked as Saber quickly pulled herself away from Rider and back over to the young filly.

“I’m fine. Though I would like some assistance if you would be so kind and do so.” Saber said as she winces from the pain in her leg.

“H-How do I do that? I don’t know any magic spells that can heal you.”

“No….but you still got the stuff from commissary right?” The knight asked as the Unicorn’s eyes widen and begins to reach into her pocket.

“You mean I can use this to heal you?”

“Well there is no rules that says you can’t right?” Sweetie Belle looked at the bottle of apple juice in her hand, then back at Saber’s leg before looking back up at Saber. “Just toss it into the air, and I’ll take care of the rest.” Saber said as she straightens herself up and charges at Rider.

“Still up for more huh?” Rider said as she took aim and begins to fire a barrage of bullets at Saber. As she fires, Saber begins to deflect the bullets heading towards her as she quickly moves behind the mass of the boat for cover. “Hiding won’t save you knight! That hunk of wood won’t last forever!”

“Would like for you to heal me now Sweetie Belle!” Saber yelled as it caused Sweetie Belle to break from her train of thought and throw the bottle at the knight. Once the bottle hit Saber, it shattered into bits of data before feeling the injury in her leg heal up. While Rider continued her assault on what was the remains of the mass, Saber quickly used her left gauntlet as a mirror to see Rider’s position for a quick second before quickly darting off to the side to get a better view of the pirate.

“She’s over there! Shoot her dammit! Shoot her!” Shinji ordered as Rider looked over to her left to see Saber quickly charging at her as her sword began to glow.

“Got you now! You’re finished!” Saber said as she brought up her sword and was about to slash Rider, only for her to quickly jump backwards as an explosion appeared from where Saber stood.

“Not bad. Didn’t think you would notice the cannon fire from above.” Rider said as Saber looked up to see four cannons above Rider from some kind of pocket dimension before disappearing behind the doors they came from. “Guess it’s to be expected from someone from the Saber class servants. But how long can you keep dodging my attacks little knight~?” The Pirate asked as she took aim at her as the cannons from before appeared behind her and fired.

“This was a whole lot easier in the games then in real life.” Saber thought before starting to slice & dice the cannonballs heading towards her. While she continued this tactic for a while, she soon felt a sharp pain in her side from feeling one of Rider’s bullets piercing Saber. This caused the knight to stagger some, as Rider took this opportunity to have two of the cannons appear on both side of Saber and fired upon her at point blank range.

“Saber!!!” Sweetie Belle yelled as she watched in horror as Saber exploded from the cannonfire.

“Haha! Serves that freak right for thinking she could win with a servant like that!” Shinji said as he continued to laugh and belittle the young filly. As the cloud of smoke started to clear, it revealed a battered and bleeding Saber with pieces of her armor chipped off but still standing like it didn’t affect her.

“Hm, not a bad surprise attack Rider.” Saber said as she tried to walk off the pain. “But you’ll need more than that to take me down.”

“Oh you are just a treat~.” Rider said as she took aim at the knight. “Let’s see how long you can last with that confidence of yours!”She yelled as the cannons from before appeared around Rider and began to fire at her.

“Can’t afford another hit like that.” The servant thought as she begins to dodge or parry the cannonballs heading towards her. “I gotta end this fast before she uses her Noble Phantasm.”

“Hurry up and put an end to this dammit! We got a grail to win and I’d prefer not to lose to a freak of nature like that thing that servant has as a master!” Shinji yelled as Sweetie Belle turned her attention to Shinji and glared at him. “What? You got a problem freak?”

“Saber! Kick that hairless ape’s servant’s flank!” Sweetie Belle yelled as Saber burst towards Rider, catching her by surprise and deeply grazed her chest as she felt Rider push herself backwards to avoid most of the damage that Saber delt. Rider skidded backwards a bit before stopping and looking down at the deep gash on her chest as blood started to gush a bit from her open wound. While looking at her open wound, Saber took this opportunity to charge at her again as she tried to jab her sword through her heart. Only for Rider to jump out of the way of the sword, and land on a floating debri in the air as she looks down at her.

“Much as I would love to fight you for hours on end, I’m going to have to make this short and end this fight.” Rider said as Saber soon noticed that the coliseum was getting dark and foggy for the most part. Saber’s eyes widened at the sudden realization of what’s going on, she soon took up a defensive stance as she soon found herself standing on top of an ocean of water.

“W-Where are we?” Sweetie Belle asked as she was taken by surprise by the sudden change to the coliseum.

“Now you two are screwed!” Shinji said with a smug expression on his face while thinking he won this match. “Behold! El Draque’s Noble Phantasm!” He said as Saber heard the sounds of cannon fire off in the distance. Looking over at the wall of fog, she quickly took notice of a stray cannonball heading towards her as she quickly jumps out of the way of it and lands off to the side of the explosion. Looking over from where the cannon came from, Saber’s eyes widen upon seeing the armada of ships making its way out of the fog like wall. Standing on the biggest ship of the armada was Rider with three large floating cannons around her.

“....Yep….starting to wish I was in the video game of this holy grail war.” Saber said as she looks back at Sweetie Belle who was trembling in fear from seeing Rider’s Noble Phantasm. “Don’t worry Sweetie Belle. This is nothing that I can’t handle.”

“Are you fucking kidding me!? You can’t handle this shit! You couldn’t even handle Caster on her good day!” Her inner thought said as Saber shook her head.

“It’s fine….I can manage it. I am Saber after all.”

“A fake one. You may have her powers and stuff, but you aren’t the real Saber!”

“Well it’s not like I have much of a choice in the matter.” Saber thought as she gripped the handle of her sword. “I mean, if the servants can do this so can I….right?” She asked as she turn her attention back on Rider with a gulp.

“Remember my name by the death from my passing!” Rider yelled as she makes her way to the front of the ship. “Temeroso el Draque! I am the woman who set the Sun!” She soon looked down at Saber as she along with her armada took aim. “You rascals, it’s time! The King of Storms, a swarm of ghosts, this is the beginning of the Wild Hunt!” With those final words, Rider fired upon Saber with a barrage of bullets from her twin pistols. Upon doing that, the twenty ship armada let loose their entire arsenal of cannonfire at the knight.

Saber closed her eyes for split second as a surge of prana energy erupted from underneath her as she charges at Rider and her armada. As the hail of cannonfire was heading towards Saber, she quickly begins to dodge through the hail of cannon fire for the most part while cutting though the rest of them like butter as she made her way forward. As Saber continued her forward charge, she noticed that the ships were beginning to change their formation pattern as they soon formed a barrakad around Rider’s main ship, The Golden Hind.

“How hard is it to kill that woman!” Shinji yelled as he started to type on the digital keyboard for a while before disappearing as Saber felt herself weakening. “Hurry up and kill her already you stupid servant!”

“It’s not like I’m fighting against a human now am I?” Rider said as she ordered her ships to continue firing at Saber.

Saber continued to dodge, parry, and sliced through the hail of cannonfire aimed at her as she was beginning to feel her strength being drained even more due to Shinji zapping most of her strength, and from dodging Rider’s Noble Phantasm. Just as she landed back on the water, she began to lose her footing due to the cannonballs hitting the water around her. This gave Rider the opportunity to have the cannons that were floating around her to take aim and fire upon her.

“Oh shi-” Before she could finish her cursing to herself, she was soon pelted upon by the triple prana charged cannons causing an explosion to erupt from where the knight was. Rider soon ordered her ships to hold their fire as she looks down at her work. Once the combination of both smoke and water settled down, the only thing that was left of the knight was one of her gauntlet’s, her left leg armor, and a blood stain on the ocean.

“N-No….t-this can’t be happening.” Tears began to form around Sweetie Belle’s eyes as she slumped down into the floor in horror and misery at the remains of her Servant. “S-Saber?”

“Haha! That’s right, you should’ve taken up my offer to lose the battle on purpose and let me win!” Shinji said, gloating while busting out laughing. “A freak like you winning the Holy grail war!? That is so ridiculous!”

“Hm, damn. I was having a good time with her.” Rider said as she turned around at Shinji. “Oi! Master! I better be getting paid twice as much for this match!!”

“Seriously!? I ready paid you before the match even started!”

“Well I want to be paid double for my work! This match was starting to get interesting and I was about to reach my peak of thrill until she died on me! Now are you going to pay me again or-” Before Rider could finish her sentence, Saber’s sword shot through the water underneath the boat and impaled itself into Rider’s heart. Rider’s eyes widened upon feeling the invisible sword run her through as she staggerly looked down at the sword before looking behind her to see a water and blood covered knight panting. Sweetie Belle looked up at the noise as her eyes widened in surprise to see Saber alive.

“Y-You’re alive!?” Both Sweetie Belle and Shinji asked as the young filly began to cry tears of joy.

“Had I not realised that the water wasn’t shallow when I felt my foot sink into the water a bit from the shockwaves from the cannonfire hitting the water. That attack would have killed me.” Saber said as she staggered over to where Rider was standing. “So I figured I'd use that to my advantage and attack you from under the water. Leaving a bit of blood and some of my armor was a good way to lower your guard so I could send some prana into my gauntlet and use it as a guiding rod to hit Rider.” Once Saber was close to Rider, she placed her hand into the gauntlet as she slowly pulled her blood covered sword from out of her chest.

“N-Not bad kid.” Rider said as she began to feel her lungs filling up with blood as Rider’s Noble Phantasm began to disappear. The only thing that was left was the Golden Hind as Rider grinned. “Especially for someone who’s not the real Saber.” She said which took Saber from surprise.

“You knew about that?”

“Not that hard to tell the difference between a human soul and a servant soul.” Rider said as she gave off a weak chuckle. “But who am I to judge someone on how they ended up here in this war. Hell I’m seeing a talking mutant horse so this isn’t a surprise.”

“Hey! I’m not a mutant horse!” Sweetie Belle said as she quickly ran over to Saber’s side.

“Hm, whatever kid. Not like what I say matters. I lost.” Rider said as she noticed Shinji making his way over to her side.

“Wh-What the hell?! How did my Servant get defeated by something like that?!” Shinji asked as he looked over at Rider who simply shrug as he looked back at Saber and Sweetie Belle. “No matter how you look at it, I’m the best! At everything! I can’t lose in the first round!” He said before looking back at Rider. “It….It’s your fault, El Draque! This happened because you suck!”

“Oh sure, blame the Servant. That would make you feel better.” Saber said sarcastically.

“You don’t have a word in this faker! Don’t think I didn’t overheard what El Draque said about you. That freak cheated and used a fake to cheat the system so you could win!”

“Huh? Flogging a waterlogged sailor, are we?” Rider said as she shook her head. “It won’t reverse your fortunes, master.”

“Argh! If you got the energy to talk back, then go fight! There’s no way I’m losing this!”

“Hmm, I don’t think that’s happening. Did you forget I’ve been stabbed in the heart? I’m going to disappear.”

“Say what?! You think you can run away and leave me here? I lost because of you!”

“....My fault? Perhaps. Or it could have been carelessness. Or a lack of tenacity, luck, ability, etc..” Rider said with a smirk. “Well whatever. Fortune is fickle and fate is what we make of it. We lost for a reason. We may be strong, but we didn’t have what it takes to win.”

“Why are you making it sound like somebody else’s problem? I did what I’m supposed to do! I’m the best!” He said as he stomped the ground around him. “It wasn’t supposed to go like this. You ruined everything by becoming my Servant! Useless! Damn it! I can’t believe I lost! This game sucks! Suuuucks!”

“Geez, and I thought Blueblood had a superiority complex.” Saber said as she looked over at Sweetie Belle, who was just holding on to her for comfort and relief. “Sweetie Belle. When we head back, we’re going to have a little talk about what happened during the fight. Okay?”

“I-I’m in trouble aren’t I?” Sweetie Belle asked as she fidgets a bit while looking down like a child would if she was being scolded for getting into trouble.

“You’re not in trouble, just want to run something by you so we can improve you.” She said as she ruffled up the young filly’s mane a bit before lifting her up onto her shoulders. “Come along Sweetie Belle. Let’s go back to our room so I can recover from today’s fight.”

“Should I...heal you now or wait until we get back to our room?”

“Would’ve been nice if you done that during my fight when I got hit by that cannonfire...but I think we should wait until we get back to our room for you to heal me.” Saber answered as she and Sweetie Belle were about to leave the coliseum. Only for them to be stopped by Shinji calling out to them as they looked back.

“Hey...W-Wait! Hey! I’ve got an idea. How about you declare that I won the battle.” The boy said as both Sweetie Belle and Saber looked at him with a tired deadpanned expressions on their faces. “B-B-Because, you know, you just won this battle by accident! There’s a one-hundred percent chance you’ll lose in the second round. But I’ll win it for sure. Think about it. Isn’t it better for one of us to keep winning than for you to lose in the next round?”

“This guy can’t be serious?” Saber asked as she looked up as Sweetie Belle who simply sighed in annoyance. “Yeah, not worth our time.” With that, Saber continued to take Sweetie Belle back to their room.

“Hey...Wait. I said wait! Can’t you see the equation? I’m saying I’ll share the Holy Grail with you!”

“Cut it out, Shinji. You lost and you know it. You can’t change what happen.” Rider said as Shinji quickly turn back at Rider.

“Shut up! We lost because of you! What makes you think you have the right to act so calm?!” Shinji ruffled up his own hair in anger as he looked back at Sweetie Belle and Saber. “Damn it! You may have won this one game, but don’t get a big head over it. In real life, I’m still a champion! Listen, I don’t know who you are or where you came from. But when I get home, I’m gonna figure out who you really are and-” Just as Shinji was about to continue his rant, he soon pointed a finger at them as he noticed his hand corroding. “-Wha?! Wh-What the hell is going on? M-My body’s...disappearing?! I’ve never logged out like this!”

While Shinji was busy looking at his corroding body, a red digital like wall appeared from the side as it soon stopped in front of Sweetie Belle and Saber. Saber looked upon Shinji and his servant’s body corroding as black blotches started to spread all over their bodies with little emotions as she knew this was to be expected from when they felt that happening to then when they met Ruler. Sweetie Belle on the other hand looked at them in shock and horror as Shinji lets out a desperate cry as his arms, legs, and torso gradually fizzle into blackness.

“Losers die in the Holy Grail War. As a Master, you should have known that, Shinji.” Rider said as she placed a hand to her hip as she shook her head.

“What?! D-Die?! But just our avatars get erased, right? There’s no way you can die in a virtual world.”

“Yes.You lose, you die. This is a “war,” not a “game.” Mostly everyone who joins this war ends up dead. The sole survivor is the only one who can go home alive.”

“Wha...No way! That isn’t funny!” Shinji said as he began to tremble in fear from what he was being told. “But it’s a tournament! So it’s a game, right? RIght?! Aaagh! Wh-Why isn’t this stopping?! D-Do something! Isn’t a Servant supposed to help their Master?!”

“If it was easy to break the rules, they wouldn’t have created them in the first place. But, well...the good and bad both are sent off to another world in the end. It’s nothing to complain about.”

“Acting like you know so much! Aren’t you ashamed at all?! First you lose and now this?!” A serious expression appeared on Rider’s face as she walks over to Shinji, grabbed him by the collar, and glared at him with her one eye that hasn’t been corroded by blackness.

“Hmm? Am I ashamed? Of course I am. I’m so disgusted with myself that I could throw up. But, remember what I told you when we made our contract, little boy? Be prepared, because a villain’s final moments are laughably miserable!” Rider said as she gives off a hearty laugh as her body was being erased from the system. “Considering the things you’ve done and said, this isn’t such a bad death. Just let yourself go, Shinji.” The Servant said as she looked over at Saber and Sweetie Belle. Well mostly Sweetie Belle who was on the urge of tear from seeing her and Shinji disappearing before her eyes. “And you folks over there, let’s hear some laughter, huh? It’s sad when a clown doesn’t get a laugh.”

Sweetie Belle tried to get in a few words in to say something to Rider, but all that came out was nothing but hiccups and gaspes. Rider simply shrugs as she grins at her with the brightest of smiles.

“It’s going to be tough for you kid. This is the outcome for you each time you win a fight with a Master and Servant. But don’t look so sad or give into depression kid. Learn from this fight, and press onwards so you can get back to where ever you came from. I’m sure that your friends and family are waiting for you to return. May the rest of your journey go well. I’d like it if you ended up stronger than me. In life, I fought against military ships. It’s against my nature to enjoy fighting weaker opponents.” As she turned a forced smile at the young pony and Servant, the female pirates body disappeared into black ashes.

“Heh. Even with her heart stabbed and her body disappearing. She still went out laughing like she enjoyed it. That's the world’s greatest navigator, and the first person to circumnavigate the world for yeah.” Saber said as she looked over at Shinji with a terrorfied expression on his face as Saber knew that this was his fate for losing.

“H-Hey! Who gave you permission to disappear like that?! You gotta help me! Don’t leave me!” He said while looking around frantically for a while before looking over at Sweetie Belle. “You! You gotta help me! Please! If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t be in this situation right now! You owe me!”

“B-But….I-I-I.” Sweetie Belle couldn’t say anything but those words as she was overcome with fear upon seeing both Shinji’s body and the scared/crazy expression on his face. This caused the young pony to hold onto Saber’s head for comfort as she hide her face into her hair and folded her ears down to block out the noises. “No please I beg you! I’m sorry for calling you all thoses names! I’m sorry for cheating and stuff just please help me!”

“I’m sorry, but we can’t help you.” Saber said emotionlessly as she stared at the boy. “Rules are rules. You lose the Holy Grail War, then you die.”

“Waah! I’m really disappearing!? Why? Why does it feel like I’m going to die in real life, too?! What the hell?! This is Crazy! Help!” Shinji started to slam his fists against the digital wall in an attempt to try to either break it or for them to help him get out. “Why aren’t you helping me?! I’m only eight years old. I don’t want to die yet! Help me-!” With one more hit to the wall, Shinji’s body started to give way to his own weight as he soon crumbled into nothing but black ashes. Just like Rider did as her body disappeared.
