Chapter 3

Previous Chapter Next Chapter

The two girls walked together, Adagio crying into the other girl's shoulder, her head pressed deeply into her neck. Sunset Shimmer had simply wrapped her arms around the siren's shoulders as they walked, stroking her hair and occasionally cooing a simple encouragement into her ear.

"It's okay, Adagio." she said. "You do whatever you need."

"Can I stay with you tonight?" Adagio blurted the question before her brain could stop her. Why the hell would I do that? she silently asked herself.

"Sure." Sunset Shimmer said, squeezing the siren's shoulders more tightly. Why the hell would she let me? "Do you want to go get anything from your house?"

Adagio thought for a moment before nodding, not trusting her mouth anymore. She needed to get a bag if she was staying with Sunset Shimmer tonight.

"Alright, you just lead the way." Sunset said, slightly relaxing her grip on the girl. Adagio, fearing the girl was about to end the embrace, clutched the girl's shirt. She still had yet to stop crying and the tears flowed faster when she thought Sunset was going to let her go. "You don't want me to let go?" Sunset asked.

Adagio shook her head. Even if she did not understand why, she did not want Sunset Shimmer to stop holding her. The girl's arms were soft, yet her grip was firm as if she would protect her from anything and that was exactly how Adagio needed to feel.

"Okay, just walk and I'll follow." Sunset said, tightening her grip once again. Why was she being so nice? Did she not hate the sirens? Why was she so worried about what Adagio wanted? These question swam through Adagio's mind, but she ignored them content to just enjoy the comforting embrace.

Shuffling down the street to her house was a much more pleasant experience for the siren than she would have thought. It was apparently only a few blocks from the bus-stop they had been at. Seeing her small house, Adagio realized she had never considered it home in all the years she and the other two sirens had lived there.

Approaching the house, Adagio stopped. She had already shown Sunset Shimmer her vulnerable side tonight, however she saw no need to show it to the other sirens. "Could you wait out here?" she asked. "I don't know how the others would react to you."

Sunset smiled and let Adagio go. "Sure." she said. "I'll just wait at the end of the street 'till you're ready, okay?"

Adagio tried to smile back, but failed to move her mouth. "Okay." she said. "Just... please don't leave me."

Sunset smiled. "I promise."

Adagio took a deep breath and continued down the street to her house, hesitating before she opened the door when she heard voices in the living room. "I'm sorry, Aria." Sonata's voice floated out of the window. "I don't mean to be such a cry-baby."

"It's alright, Sonata." Aria said. "I know that hurt you."

"She didn't mean to though." Sonata said. "She doesn't realize how bad she's hurting."

Adagio slid over to the window and peeked inside the living room. Sonata and Aria were snuggling under a blanket, both of them laying on the couch. Sonata had tears running down her face still, and Aria was gently stroking her hair.

"I don't care how she's hurting, she had no right to say that to you." Aria said, scowling slightly.. "I don't like seeing you hurt."

"I know." Sonata said, snuggling deeper into the other girl's chest. "She just needs time to realize these humans feel things differently than we did."

"If it weren't for you..." Aria said pulling the other girl closer. "I wouldn't know what love was either."

"Exactly. We can't blame her for not knowing what she wants. She'll figure out just what being human means in her own time." Sonata seemed unusually wise tonight. Maybe that was part of being human, Adagio thought, maybe being human meant even an idiot knew some things as second nature, while a genius couldn't figure it out. That, in Adagio's mind, was the only thing that made sense about how Sonata could teach Aria anything.

"Sonata... I-I" Aria struggled to speak. "I love you."

Sonata smiled up at the girl, the tears still in her eyes. "I love you too." Then Sonata leaned into Aria, placing their lips together.

It was a quick simple kiss, but it was enough to bring back that familiar ache in Adagio's chest.

Sonata giggled quietly. "What?" Aria asked.

"You love me." Sonata giggled again.

Aria tousled her hair. "You're the worst." she said, unable to conceal her grin.

"You are." Sonata said before leaning in for another kiss. A tear fell from Adagio's eye and yet, she had no idea why.

Sunset turned at the sound of the approaching footsteps to see Adagio running at her headfirst. "Adagio?" Sunset grabbed the girl as she ran into her balling her fists into the front of her shirt while crying in her chest. "Are you alright? What happened?"

Adagio shook her head and waited for the sobs to stop wracking her body before speaking again. "I was just scared you left." she said quietly, still crying into the girl's chest.

Sunset simply stroked the siren's hair, placing her free hand on her back. "I wouldn't do that..." she said quietly.

Adagio simply nodded. Why the hell am I being so pathetic with her? "I didn't get anything..." she said. "The door was locked, and I think the others were asleep."

"Alright... well, what did you need?" Sunset asked, still stroking the other girl's hair.

"Just something to sleep in... and I was going to get some money. I was going to offer to buy you dinner." I was?

Sunset smiled down at the girl in her arms. "Well, that's sweet, but I was going to make you dinner tonight... you seem like you need it."

Adagio looked up at the girl, tears still streaming down her face, and smiled. "Yeah, I guess I do." she said.

"Pinkie can probably loan you an overnight bag. She lives around the block and I think she's still awake." Sunset said. "We can stop there for just a minute, and then we'll head to my house, okay?"

Adagio buried her head back in the girl's chest before nodding. "Okay."

"Alright." Sunset said, putting her hands on Adagio's. "Let's go."

Adagio pulled her head away from Sunset's chest, but did not let go of her hands. If Sunset minded she did not say anything.

As the two walked down the dark cold streets, Adagio began to shiver. She slowly leaned her shoulder into Sunset Shimmer as they walked, relishing the warmth. "You okay?" Sunset asked.

Adagio nodded as Sunset wrapped an arm around the siren's shoulders keeping her other the fingers of her other hand in Adagio's hand. Adagio wanted to know why the other girl was being so kind to her, but she couldn't bring herself to ask for some reason. Was it that she was afraid? Why was she afraid?

Adagio started to shiver, despite the warm body pressed against hers. "Here" Sunset said, stepping away from the embrace to pull off her leather jacket. Sunset then handed the jacket to Adagio. "You're cold, right?"

Adagio stared at the jacket in the other girl's hand for several minutes. "Yeah..." she said, still not taking the jacket. "That's yours though."

Sunset laughed and threw the jacket over Adagio's shoulders. "I'm not very cold. You can wear it."

Adagio looked at the jacket around her shoulders and smiled before putting her arms through the sleeves. "Thank you." she said, before grabbing Sunset's hand again, curling their fingers together. "Is this okay?" she asked, lifting her hand.

Sunset smiled and nodded. Why do I even want to do that? It's so stupid! "Thank you." Sunset said quietly.

Adagio cocked her head and raised an eyebrow. "What for?" she asked.

"For letting me help you, I guess..." Sunset said quietly. "I just feel lucky to be the one you're showing this side of yourself to." Sunset leaned into the siren and squeezed her hand slightly.

Adagio stopped walking as she thought. "I don't know why." she said. "Anyways we can talk about this later. I'm getting hungry." she said walking again, Sunset still leaning into her new friend.

The two continued to walk in silence simply enjoying each other's warmth and company. They walked for ten minutes before seeing an average looking house. "This is Pinkie Pie's house." Sunset said stopping just outside the house.

"Really?" Adagio asked. "It just seems so..."

"Normal?" Sunset laughed. It was normal by all rights and fairly average. "I thought so too, the first time I saw it." Sunset lifted a rock by the front door and pulled a key out from under it. "Pinkie's parents are out of town. I know she's awake, but her sisters might not be so she doesn't want us to knock and risk waking them up." she explained, unlocking the door.

Adagio nodded before following the other girl into the average house. The living room and hallways were also very average, a few family pictures, a few pieces of furniture, and an average hallway. They walked down the average hallway and Sunset pointed to an average door. "That's Maud's room." she mouthed, before opening the not-so-average door before them revealing a not-so-average sight.

Pinkie was completely naked, her back to the door while another girl sat on her shoulder, also completely naked. The girl on Pinkie's shoulders had her hands chained above her head, a ball gag pressed firmly in her mouth. Pinkie's slurping was clearly audible from the door the two girls had entered, and it was clear what she was doing to the bound girl.

The girl chained to the wall saw the girl's enter the room, but was unable to convey her thoughts to Pinkie. She obviously tried to alert Pinkie to their presence by squeezing with her knees, but it only seemed to make Pinkie speed her work. The bound girl's eyes seemed to be trying to convey an apology before they closed in ecstasy.

After only a few seconds of work, Pinkie succeeded in bringing the other girl to climax. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head and she moaned loudly through the gag. Her legs flexed around Pinkie's head and her entire body shook violently for a few seconds.

After a moment of silence Sunset finally spoke. "Pinkie?"

Pinkie looked up from between the bound girl's thighs, her tongue still stuck out a small trail of juices still connected to the other girl's slit. "Yeah?" she asked, seeming unfazed by the fact that her friend had caught her eating another girl out. "What's up?"

After a pause, Sunset finally decided on a question. "Why didn't you tell us Twilight was coming?" It was the wrong question.

Adagio's jaw dropped, Twilight's eyes widened in shock as a blush formed on her face, and Pinkie burst into a fit of laughter. "Funny joke, Sunset." she said rolling on the floor laughing.

Sunset threw a hand over her mouth as her face turned bright red. "Not what she meant I think." Adagio said. "Pinkie, could we just tell you what we want so we can go and you can get back to...."

Adagio trailed off as Pinkie nodded and stood, wearing pants again... somehow. She then took the gag out of Twilight's mouth before planting a kiss on her lips. "We'll continue after I help them." she said breaking the kiss and placing a skirt and shirt on Twilight without Adagio seeing how exactly she managed to do it without unchaining the other girl.

"Why don't you untie me, Pinkie?" Twilight asked. "This is uncomfortable enough as it is."

Pinkie spun on her heel and slapped Twilight in her face before grabbing her throat and putting their faces mere inches apart. "Don't forget who the mistress is this time." she whispered, licking Twilight's neck. "If I wanted to take you right here in front of our friends you can't stop me." Pinkie slipped her hand under the skirt and Twilight moaned slightly. "Now, you sit there and be a good girl, and I'll treat you extra nice when our friends leave, but for now you're gonna stay wrapped up like my perfect little present, okay?" she asked, still rubbing below Twilight's skirt.

"Yes." Twilight moaned softly.

"Yes... what?" Pinkie asked, kissing Twilight's neck.

"Yes... mistress." Twilight moaned.

"Alrighty." Pinkie said pulling away from the panting bound girl. During the exchange Adagio and Sunset could only watch red-faced. "What can I do ya for, girls?" Pinkie asked.

"Uhm... what's going on, Pinkie?" Sunset asked.

Pinkie giggled. "Why don't you tell them, pet? I'll get the overnight bag ready." she said skipping out of the room.

Adagio tugged at Sunset's shirt. "How did she-"

"Pinkie sense." The other two girls answered in unison.

"What's going on, Twilight?" Sunset asked. "Why didn't you tell us you were- I mean that you were planning a trip here?"

Twilight looked sheepish as she shuffled in place as much as she could still chained to the wall. "Well, long story short... you promise not to tell?" she asked. Both of the girl's nodded their heads. "Or judge me?" Two heads nodded in synch again. "Okay, so... I wanted to know how humans experience different physical feelings and Pinkie agreed to help me experiment the more... personal experiments..."

"What about the 'mistress' thing?" Adagio asked.

Twilight's face turned bright red. "Well... I thought... we should do the things in enjoyed in my other body..."

Sunset nodded, "I can believe that."

"We take turns!" Twilight blurted. "We didn't tell anyone because... I was embarrassed..." she said, hanging her head.

"Oh, Twilight." Pinkie said, walking back in the room and handing Adagio a plain pink backpack. "Nobody's going to judge you." she said putting her arms around Twilight's neck and kissing her sweetly on the lips.

"Pinkie." Twilight said sternly. "You're breaking character again."

"Oops. Sorry." Pinkie said. "I'll get back in character after the others leave okay?"

"Yes, mistress." Twilight winked. "So what are you guys doing tonight?" Twilight asked.

That's it? Not 'Hey, Sunset. Why the hell are you hanging out with that bitch?' or something like that? Really? "We were just going to go back to my place, maybe have a very late dinner, then I was thinking about a movie." Sunset said.

"Well, 'Dagi." Pinkie said, beaming at the siren. "It's good to see you finally giving friendship a chance."

"I agree." Twilight said, smiling. She's still chained to the wall...

Adagio struggled for words for a moment. Should she admit that's she's been confused and lonely? Should she say it's none of their business? They had already allowed her some personal information and she had yet to consider using the information against them. Why was that? She had only set out tonight to get information. Why stop now?

She was not angry anymore, but why not? "Just..." she said quietly. "Just don't tell anyone yet... I'm not sure how I feel about it."

Sunset grabbed her hand. "I know exactly what you mean... we'll keep it quiet, I promise."

"I promise, too." Pinkie said.

"Me too." Twilight said.

"...Thanks..." Adagio said. "And thanks for the overnight bag."

"You're welcome." Pinkie said, giving the girl a quick hug before she could react. "You guys are welcome to stay and-"

"No." Sunset and Adagio said simultaneously. "Thank you, but... no." Sunset said. "We'll just be going now." she said walking out the door.

Adagio followed, closing the door behind her just as she heard cloth ripping and Twilight moaning again.

After exiting the house Sunset stopped and looked at Adagio. "So... you okay with pretending that never happened?" she asked.

Adagio smiled and hooked her fingers into Sunset's hand as they continued walking down the street to Sunset's house. "Definitely." she said.

Then Sunset hooked her own fingers in Adagio's hand and leaned into her shoulder. "I'm glad we're going to my place." she said. "I hope you like it there."

"Me too, Sunset... me too." Adagio said.

"Hey." Sunset said, stopping Adagio and putting her hand under her chin. "Whatever's bothering you... you'll talk about it when we get there, right?"

"Yes." Adagio said.

"Promise?" Sunset asked, putting her face closer to Adagio's.

Adagio thought about it, then put her arms around the other girl. "I promise." she said. "I don't know why... but... I trust you."

"I'm glad." Sunset said returning the embrace. "Now, come on... we can talk about this more after we have something to eat... I haven't eaten all day." she said, pulling the other girl's hand as they walked down the street. "One more stop and then we can rest for the night."

"One more stop." Adagio said, squeezing the other girl's hand as they walked.

One more stop...

Author's Notes:

So... I did that. Unedited and written at six in the morning... when I work second shift.:pinkiecrazy:

As usual feel free to leave comments, I love those things.:derpytongue2: (This chapter wasn't supposed to exist, mainly because I couldn't figure out what to do with Pinkie without it being completely random, but I decided to add it after I saw a couple comments. Kudos to those guys.) I think there's only going to be one more chapter, but I may do more.

I regret absolutely nothing. :pinkiecrazy:
