Well, here we are, at the end of arc one. Any form of criticism and comments is welcome (trolling included, as I am one!). On with the finale!

Journal entries of Lumos

Entry 1, Unknown day, unknown time

I get the feeling I should have started one of these when I first arrived. Oh well, better late than never, huh? How long has it been since I first arrived here? I think it’s been about two weeks now, no way to be sure, after the first few days I’ve stopped counting, When I woke up yesterday in the cave, I was shocked three things, first, by the fact that Clare had carried me back to the cave herself. Second, the fact that she killed Discord by tearing him limb from limb. The third thing that surprised me was my new body, I must admit though, it’s pretty badass. There is one small drawback though: I seem to be unable to change back from it. By what I was told by Clare, Discords blood was spilt on me and the other human, who I… ‘kindly’ explained was the one trying to awake the fucker. While the blood killed him, somehow it only changed my form… Maybe, I absorbed a small amount of his power? I suppose I could get back to you on this.

Entry 2, unknown day, unknown time

Well, its official, I obtained a new power from discords blood, I can now make a strange grey material, I make it by fusing my light and darkness, like how I made AngelBane, only this metal I create cannot conduct electricity, I cannot unsummon it, I can’t edit its form once I’ve made it and for some reason, it reacts violently to anyone touching it but me. If you want to know what I mean by “violent,” I mean the only other person to touch it (Aqua,) obtained a nasty cut from when he wanted to see what the metal felt like. I have tried multiple things with this new material, and have so far made a new sword with it, discovered its roughly as hard as a diamond, and that they seem to generate magic, I have no clue how any of this works, so please don’t ask, but I now have a way of using magic! Tomorrow, I plan to test this shit out!

Entry 3, unknown day, unknown time

Today our cave was found by the royal guard, who were there to arrest me and shade for breaking into Canterlot, setting Discord free, and stealing a bed, three mattresses, and some sheets about a week ago (end of chapter 8), at which I requested two things: the first was that they didn’t touch any of my metal things, and second was that I wanted to plead my case to the princess. They agreed to the second since I was coming along willingly, and as for the first, well, one of the guards wanted to see how good my weapons were, and nearly died, had I not stopped the blade by touching it. Note to self: make sheathes for my new items. Clare was also arrested, but for other things, grand theft, highway robbery, and burglary. Who would’ve guessed? I managed to hide my journal from them, and am now writing this entry in my own blood. Odd how it’s turned black as ink… oh well, either tomorrow I can be released after pleading my case to the princess, or this will be my last entry. My only regret is letting my family die on that day, had my powers awakened sooner, I could have saved them.

Entry 4, unknown day, unknown time

Well, I was wrong, I’m not free yet, and I’m not dead. It turns out I’ve still got two days till my and Shade’s trial, which is scheduled right before Clare’s, which means I’ll be able to request witness to events of importance in the case, I have asked for a calendar, so that I could begin to put down the date and time. We are being kept in the maximum security section of the dungeons, but Clare, Shade, and I have cells right next to each other, and the food isn’t bad, and I haven’t had anything with hay in it, I guess that they listened when I told them we can’t digest it properly.

The guards found my journal today, turns out their fine with it, and even gave me a quill and ink, what nice guys, tomorrow is the trial, damn I wish Phoenix Wright was here right now… no, wait, he would probably be arrested here too… never mind. Not anything else to write about today, with any luck, tomorrow, I will be writing in this from the outside world once more.

Today in court, Celestia surprised me, she knew all about what had happened, and in fact just wanted to talk to me. I discovered that my new power was known as Twilikinetics, which is the control of a very specific kind of matter, which had a sort of “magic fingerprint,” or something. As for my new body, she confirmed that I had absorbed Discord, all of his power. She could not tell if I had absorbed his mind though. She claimed I had become what my people call a god of neutrality. Lol I’m like Guthix. Anyway, I did plead for Clare in her case, and even the princess was surprised that she was the one to kill Discord, and nearly threw up when she found out how. Anyway, we were put under surveillance by the elements of harmony, especially me, as she needed to know if I had truly absorbed Discords mind with his body. That’s all for today.

Entry 7, Wednesday 12th, June 2012 5:50 PM

Today I finally found a calendar, and discovered that time passes almost exactly the same as it does in my world, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 12 months a year, etc. and that today is Wednesday, and the first day of my third week in this world, I promised I wouldn’t run off again, like I did the other times I had met them, our pairings for guardians were simple, as I could fly, I had Rainbow Dash. Shade, to her disappointment, got Rarity. Aqua, who I’m not sure how he got there, was paired with pinkie pie for no apparent reason, and Clare was with Twilight, Since Fluttershy was a bit of a pushover. That isn’t even the greatest part, the GREATEST part, is that I almost beat Rainbow in a race, although I get the feeling that this body could have beaten her had I better control over it, and had I used my dark thrusters. I don‘t plan on making another entry in this for a few days.

Entry 8, Sunday 16th, June 2012 10:00 PM

Well, tomorrow we no longer have to be watched, but… I don’t know, I’m kind of getting used to it. I mean, getting to hang with magical talking ponies has a bit of an effect on you. I don’t want to leave, so I’ve decided to make myself a home near Ponyville, the ponies here seem to have gotten used to me. The only question is what to make it out of, a cloud house would be great, because I could move it at any time, But I much prefer sleeping on a rock for some reason, maybe I should ask if I can put physical objects in clouds, and if so, how. That is all for today,

Entry 9, Monday 17th, June 2012 11:58 PM

This morning, Rainbow found my Journal, and taunted me all day, until I made her read it, after that she was full blown laughing at it, also ive discovered that I, in fact can put inanimate objects, such as rocks, into my new cloud house. Speaking of my house it looks like utter crap in comparison to Rainbow’s Cloud Palace so far. Later today, I went to Twilight’s place to ask some questions about whether or not some countries, such as Vaporia, Evisica, Haven, and Canada, the last one I was joking on, but it turns out that there is a country by that name here, I then asked if there was a mention of a pony called Iron Blitz in any of her books, who, as it turns out, was in a history book that was being checked out, by my oc, Stormy Night, the assassin (twilight didn’t say the last part, but I already knew it, after all, she IS my oc.). This has given me the goal to try to find each oc I’ve made, right down to my ponysona, Cloud Nova of haven, who, if he is true to the history I gave him, is currently in Cloudsdale, and talk to each one of them, but before I embark on that, I must create my house, and find some form of a job.

Entry 10, Wednesday 19th, June 2012, 7:45 PM

Today I finished my house, I had some help designing and building it from a few Pegasi, who I am now working for in exchange for the help, so I guess I have a job now too, I now do odd jobs for a group called the “Wind Reapers.” What they do I still do not know, but I know that it’s profitable, as I only need two days’ work to pay it off, and after that I make 100 bits a week I work 7 AM to 6 PM at one of their places, pretty much as a bouncer. I know all that matters to me: I know where, who, and what I am, I know what I do, and I know what I can do.
Just as Celestia is of Law, and Discord was of Chaos, I am the keeper of balance.

AN: Eeyup, he became a mother buckin Neutral god, meaning that he has to keep balance in the world; this includes creating very minor, controlled chaos to keep law from becoming too overpowered. In other news, I haven’t decided if the oc hunt will be something I write out or just an untold story between arcs. Until the next arc, MaDmAN12435/Cloud Nova Falling out.
