Hello, Stranger....
Chapter 23: Welcome Home my Dear....
Previous Chapter Next ChapterInside a thoroughly contained dome of a special glass-like material on a perfectly flat section of grassland all approximately the size of a small football stadium, a portal of darkness rimmed with ethereal blue fire opened near the center, and a 14-foot Ava slowly backed out of it garbed in her proper Merchant attire. “It’s okay sweetie, it’s perfectly safe.” Ava softly uttered, her bandanna off so her companion could see her face.
“I-if you’re sure….” A slightly resonating, husky, sensual voice answered, and Ichor with her new draconic black-scaled hooves stepped through the portal, soon followed by an entire hive’s worth of Blight Wasps came eagerly flying and crawling out of the portal into the containment area with their parents and adopted parents in the cases of those not originally of their genes. “What is this place?” The Queen Dragonling asked as her long dragon tail tipped with Ava’s strain’s signature tail blade nervously curled around her wide egg-bearing hips protectively, and she shivered as she covered her K-cup bosom’s cleavage from the slightly brisk open air with the large plain sky blue robe that Ava gave her for her modesty, her black scales all visibly firming up in response to the cold as her glowing red opaque eyes adjusted to the sunlight with meek blinking.
Once the last of the wasps had come through the portal, it closed, and Ava sighed in relief. “Okay, that’s step one; get you all off the same world as that fucked-up world-ending dragon-god bullshit. Now for step two; can you still feel your connection to Asphyxious? Or how about our swarm of little ones? Can they still feel Everblight?”
Ichor finished adjusting, and then took a calming breath of the obscenely fresh air before her more-solid but still angular Changeling horn shimmered red with her magic, seeming to form a haze around her head and the wasps nearby, who had quickly taken to horseplay with each other since they were no longer trapped in a small cell. “Hm, I can feel Asphyxious, but I don’t feel our children having any solid connection to Everblight. Then again, I might not be able to tell. Little Ones, can you tell for yourselves?”
“It’s faint mother, we can sense him, but it’s like a fading whisper rather than a roaring thunder in our skulls.” One of the nearby wasps not occupied with enjoying the newfound freedom answered, the teeth gnashing in a way that still approximated Changeling speech.
“This is wonderful! Then we are safe here. Love, I am so glad. These past several years have been-.”
“YEARS?! It’s barely been half a year for me since they took you!” Ava screeched in despair, but Ichor grabbed her arms and soothingly squeezed her biceps through the leather sleeves that were once again fading to gray.
“Avarice, dear, you may have been a long-time in finding me to my perspective, but you’ve saved me now. For all I know my torturous hell under that monster’s care was only a year at best. It just felt like everything was an eternity. The experiments...the mutations...the endless births. Watching them through thick bars or odd moving picture screens what they were doing to my hatchlings….” Ichor’s breath hitched, and she took a calming breath. “B-but that’s over now. I’m not with those monsters anymore. But this is just a mere fraction of all the Plagalings I birthed, those bastards have a veritable army of our poor foals in their clutches, and there’s nothing we can honestly do to save most of them.”
“Which is why, I’m giving you and all of our hatchlings this place. Homage!” Ava called out as she turned away from her equal-height and proportioned lover, just in time for a massive hologram to project into a screen across the dome, sending most of the wasps into a panicked frenzy of trying and humorously failing to attack the image of the artificial gray-on-gray claptrap stallion who appeared.
“Your Echo Device ID reads that you are President Avarice, and your attire matches the assumption. Sir, or rather madam. What are these specimens you’ve placed in the intended Varkid ranch doing here?” Homage borderline demanded of his boss, remaining cordial and polite in spite of his dry tone so as not to try and cross a line.
“These Specimens are my children!” Ava growled, smoke trailing out from both her, and Ichor’s nose at the extremely hated term.
“Apologies. I must assume according to description, that the mare behind you is Ichor in some form then? Die Leucht’s handiwork I can presume.” Homage stated, before turning the hologram off since it was agitating the wasps, and they began skittering on the transparisteel dome in curiosity. “I shall broadcast from your Echo to avoid that in the future.”
“You presume wrong. Those murderers and kidnappers were just the delivery colts. A monster by the name of Doctor Arkadius is the one responsible for mine and my children’s plights.” Ichor imperiously stated, before looking around the clear-domed containment zone. “But it would seem we’ve traded one cell for another?” Ichor asked Ava sadly, who wilted with a despondent expression.
“I’m sorry dear. But the wasps, they’re contagious. Unless we can find a way to isolate their contagion/mutagen, I can’t just let them roam free. This big open space was the best I could think of.” Ava said sadly, but Ichor sighed and moved to stand next to Ava, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her into a side-boob mashing hug.
“It’s alright love, I understand. It’s better than before, that’s for sure. But what about me? I can surely spread Asphyxious’s Blight, can’t I?” Ichor asked curiously, moving her bladed tail-tip up to watch a clear fluid drip from a nearly imperceptible hole in the point of the blade. “I mean, is this Plaga mutagen? Or Blight mutagen? Is Blight even a physical contaminant like Plaga?”
“No clue whatsoever, Asphy never really got into all that, just that the stuff should be handled like the Black Plague and burned with fire, but we’re not going that far.” Ava said, only for her Echo to ring. “Just a sec.” She tapped the device on her belt near her hip, and her HUD showed Sonata on the other end.
“Ava, glad you’re back! According to Tia, you and I were both only gone a few minutes this time.” Sonata said with joy.
‘Fucking gog-damned time shenanigans, I still don’t want to think of the implications for Time Travel my world’s dimensional travel mechanics might involve.’ “That’s good. Oh! Right, Chryssie!” Ava beamed, looking over at Ichor. “Babe, our daughter Chrysalis! I saved her from the bagman before he could get away!”
{I’m still thankful for that by the way.} Said former bagman commented to his soul-shared partner.
“YOU DID~?!” Ichor practically squealed with unparalleled joy. “I must see her! Take me to my little Princess!” Ichor bounced on her hooves, her grown body wobbling in interesting ways as she forgot to hold the robe closed.
“I heard all that. I’ll be warping on over with little Chryssie in a few minutes. And Ava...we still need to talk.” Sonata said sadly, then hung up, making Ava worried.
“Oh dear, something horrible she’s been keeping from you.” Ichor said with a click of her tongue. “Don’t worry too much dear, it sounds more like plain bad news rather than something world-ending.”
“How can you tell?” Ava asked as Ichor began guiding her forward, the mare blushing at realizing the Dragonling still had an arm around her waist, and the Queen’s right breast was still smishing into Ava’s left breast, getting her a little warm at the contact.
“Love, I’m a Changeling Queen...or rather, I was one. My kind are the epitome of deception, and part of that is being able to decipher the intent and meaning behind another’s words, both for understanding, and to consider how to manipulate the situation.” Ichor said as they neared the only metal part of the dome meeting the flat grass, the door cycling with a decontamination airlock as the wasps all trailed curiously. “No my dears, stay here, you’ll be safe and well fed.” Ichor said was certainty, looking Ava in the eyes for confirmation, only to get a gentle smile, all the answer she needed. “Now be good hatchlings and play around all you like, just don’t go flying into the barrier like you did with the moving picture.”
“Yes momma!” The wasps intoned before they left the area of the airlock be, and the two giant mares entered the chamber that sealed behind them with a hiss, yellow strobe lights and a soft grinding alarm ringing out.
“Beginning decontamination.” A heavily accented zebra mare’s voice intoned, and soon a beam of light-blue light began spreading into a sort of sheet above them, and lowered over them, making the mares shiver as the light destroyed foreign contaminants on the molecular level. “Decontamination complete, proceed.”
“I have yet to hear such an accent. Where are we anyhow?” Ichor asked Ava as they continued through the open door out into a small fullmetal chamber that had hanging gun and rocket turrets aimed at the airlock all along the sides of the ceiling, with Heat Loaders training flamethrowers on the doors until they passed through and the doors sealed again, and the defenses all returned to an idle state, the Loaders moving aside. “I do not appreciate you treating our hatchlings like a disease.”
“But they are right now hun. Until we can help them control those bitey-stingy impulses and can isolate the Blight in them, we can’t just let them out...no matter how harsh the security might seem.” Ava grumbled, but then grinned as they exited the bunker-like entrance into a small security checkpoint with a blank-faced and mane-shaved zebra mare working at the terminal over the desk, her yellow guard uniform straining at her generous E-cup bust. “C-73! Good to see you.”
At the hail, the mare looked up slowly. Above her left brow was permanently growing from her white fur in black fur, the designation of C-73. “it is a marginal joy to see you again madam president.” The husky-voiced, yet bland mare’s voice responded, the gray eyes and her short white mane unsettling Ichor as she blankly looked at them. “is there anything besides yourself, and your companion leaving the containment area?”
“No C-73.” Ava said in a professional yet sad business tone.
“That will be all then. You are clear to proceed.” C-73 said as she returned to her assigned task, and Ava sighed as she guided Ichor away and out into the open skies, the giant dome behind them being one of several on a northern shore of someplace tropical if Ichor’s sense of direction was proving true.
“That mare...was just...wrong. I sensed no emotions. At all. It was like she wasn’t even there.” Ichor shuddered, leaving Ava to sigh again.
“That was C-73. The first ‘successful’ clone of our branch’s Doppelganger Program. I refused to let it be used here shortly after she was made, but it was taken out of my hands while I was away. I understand the benefits, but it’s just wrong to create life that isn’t...alive, you know?” Ava bemoaned, but then took a cleansing breath. “Anyway, welcome to Maui!” Ava cheered in a total 180 as she broke away from Ichor’s side-hug to stand before her and gesture to the terraformed flatland that spanned the whole island between the volcanoes to the northwest and southeast, the containment facilities clearly near the northwest volcano along the shore, while off in the distance to the south was a very tall and ostentatious square-shaped metal building that was clearly still being added on to going upwards.
“Um...okay?” Ichor asked, wondering if it was supposed to be impressive, but then changed her tone when a giant Loader came lumbering around the metal building, her Dragonling eyes helping her realize the scale. “Th-that’s bigger than most Elder Dragons!”
“I know right?!” Ava gushed in excitement. “And Jack makes one's even BIGGER! That one’s half the size of his Saturn models! I lust for one, so bad. But until I can make one here, Jack isn’t willing to sell any of them to me, and I bet when that happens, he’ll be like; ‘but you can make them yourself now. Take your endless money elsewhere’ or something.” Ava grumped, before slipping her wings out of the forming slits in the back of Vaga and stretched them out. “Oh, I could use a good flight, how about you?”
“Um….” Ichor took off her robe, beings it covered her wings, completely uncaring about being nude in front of Ava as she spread her unusual dragon wings out, the membranes being clear like her former Changeling wings, but also had magic or some energy visibly coursing through the near-invisible veins if they weren’t glowing red. “I do not know how to fly with these sort of wings. I never got to impersonate a thestral or dragon before, so I’m a bit two-left-wings about all of this.”
“Then I’ll carry you. I don’t feel like walking the whole way, and I’ve had enough warping around for now.” Ava quickly got behind Ichor who tied the robe closed, and let Ava hug her around the waist, resting her chin on the Dragonling’s shoulder as she pressed her boobs tight into her back as she tried to ensure they’d both be comfortable. “You ready?”
“Let’s just get this over with.” Ichor said with a blush as she wrapped her long dragon tail around her legs so it wouldn’t risk being in the way.
“Up-up-and-away~!” Ava called out, making Ichor yelp in amusement as they took off.

“I am never letting you fly me again!” Ichor joked as the stumbled into Ava’s private suite on the current top floor of the 1st Multiversal Branch HQ. “I thought you were going to get us killed.” Ichor giggled as she spun around and plopped her enormous scaly plot onto the giant sofa that was designed with Ava’s preferred size in mind.
“Ichor, though we only just met, I’m hurt.” Crescent smirked with a glint in her golden eyes as she ensured the door closed behind her, considering the security tried to be cute and sic a lockdown on her until she bypassed it with her Echo.
“Considering you were among those who slaughtered my kin and kidnapped me and my hive’s mares, you’re lucky you’re now part of my beloved or I would have killed you immediately.” Ichor said with not heat to her tone, the explanation on the way having lessened her spite to a degree that was more or less flippant on the matter.
“Oh I am beyond lucky my fair mare, for I would have certainly been slain by your beauty alone.” Crescent hammed, getting Ichor to titter as her cheeks flushed and she crossed her thick, muscled legs and leaned back into the sofa, letting her robe part until it caught on her nipples.
“Well, such a charmer. Why don’t you come here and test that theory?” Ichor teased with a raised eyebrow, her tail coming up to gently drag the tip of her blade up her smooth stomach and between her breasts as she licked her still elongated fangs with her now serpentine red tongue.
“Gladly-.”
{Time out.}
‘Aw….’ “Sorry babe, Ava wants the reins again, and we don’t have enough biomass to make two bodies this size yet.” Crescent said, before her golden eyes turned red, then green as Ava took control. “Hun, we got Chryssie coming over, I don’t want us to be in the middle of passionate ‘thank gog you’re alive’ sex when she and Sonata get here.” Ava said before sniffing herself and then Ichor with a grimace. “And we need a shower.”
“Mind if we share?” Ichor impishly asked as she squeezed her boobs together, the areola of her black bust swelling out a bit as some milk turned her robe a bit darker. “I want some now not later~.” Ichor purred, her new draconic features giving the purr a deep, throaty, growling tone that instinctively made Ava’s own breasts swell slightly in arousal.
“...Fine, raunchy shower sex it is.” Ava grabbed Ichor’s arm and easily hoisted her to her hooves with a playful yelp on the mare’s part, they both tittered like ninnies as they rushed to Ava’s private luxury bathroom, only for a bell to ring and Ava to almost trip with an anguished groan. “They’re here? Already? Ugh...I wish I had warped us here now! Sorry hun, but sex will have to wait.”
“Mmph...damn...but you’re right. I’ll clean up, you receive our daughter and this Sonata you’ve mentioned.” Ichor said with some frustration, and grabbed Ava’s face before lunging into a deep, passionate tongue-wrestling kiss, and pulled away, leaving them both breathless with a string of saliva between them. “Tonight, you WILL be reminding me why you were the best lay I’d ever had.”
“Gladly.” Ava spanked Ichor’s motherly ass as she turned to enter the bathroom and they both giggled as Ava straightened herself up and moved to the door which rang more insistently this time. “Coming!” Ava called out as she opened the door, and beamed at the sight of Sonata, but especially her companion sitting atop her shelf of a bust. “Chryssie!”
“Papa~!” The little black-shelled Plagaling filly squealed with her adorable voice as she literally bounced off of Sonata’s armored bosom to stand on Ava’s red-silk covered boobshelf and hug her sire’s head with many affectionate nuzzles, her gossamer-like green mane and tail getting mussed up in the snuggles. “You were gone forever! I missed you so much papa!”
“I missed you more baby! Yes I have! Give me a kiss!” Ava picked up the little 6-year-old-looking filly by the armpits, lavishing her cheeks and head with fluttering kisses, making the adorable green sundress-wearing filly giggle as she feebly tried to fight off the Kissy Monster!
“No! Not the kisses! Stop! The COOTIES~!” Chrysalis cried out childishly as she weakly punched and kicked to get away from the dreaded beast of bugs that was cooties.
“I’ll only stop if I get a kissu~ Chu~!” Ava puckered her lips, and Chrysalis giggled before she quickly complied and smooched her sire’s lips and hugged her head as the two calmed down, and were content to snuggle in the doorway for a moment, Sonata all too glad to wait for them to end the moment. “I’m sorry I was gone baby….”
“It’s okay papa, you’re busy.” Chrysalis said in a far-too mature way. It was saddening how fast the Plagaling Queen was maturing, and she missed four whole months of it. The little filly was already like a four year old human child when she vanished off the face of Equus like that, at least it seemed her development was slowing down now that she was at a stage of communication.
“That’s never an excuse honey. Never forget that.” Ava affirmed as she moved into the suite, Sonata following as the door closed.
“But you were summoned, you couldn’t avoid that.” Chrysalis reasoned, and Ava sighed. Her daughter was just too sensible for her own good, considering she wasn’t even 6 months old yet. “Papa...I smell something familiar...like you?” Chrysalis asked in confusion, sniffing the air as Ava sat on the sofa, and Chrysalis practically burrowed under Ava’s plush butt to sniff the sofa. “But not like you at the same time.”
“Chryssie, I have good news.” Ava gestured for Sonata to sit in the metal and leather recliner that was next to the sofa at an angle, which Sonata gladly sat in, beings it was designed like the rest of the suite for a 14-foot average.
“What is it papa? Oh! Do I have siblings?!” Chrysalis adored the idea of having siblings, and often enjoyed rubbing Tia’s and Zerona’s bellies, knowing her siblings were in them, waiting to come out. “That must be it! I remember what Mama Tia taught me about Scenting. This is kinda like that.” Chrysalis said with her still dull and unthreatening bladed Verdugo tail wagging around happily, swishing her long skirt even though the tail was through a hole above it.
“Well, yes, but they’re not here.” Ava lied, not wanting her little girl to know the truth about those siblings yet, even as her shimmering green eyes began to sadden. “Instead. I have someone I want you to meet.” Ava looked towards the bathroom, seeing Ichor come out wearing a bathrobe, and freeze, looking at Chrysalis with a degree of awe and hesitant joy that she’d never seen before. “Look over there.”
At her sire’s prompting, Chrysalis turned around, and she seized up, her breath catching, the same happening to Ichor as they looked into each other’s eyes across the large room. “...Mommy?” Chrysalis asked hopefully, tears in her eyes.
“Sweetling….” Ichor uttered softly, before suddenly Chrysalis bolted across the room, her underdeveloped buggy wings buzzing rapidly as she practically rammed into Ichor’s bosom like a child-sized cannonball, the mare easily catching her and craning her head down into her cleavage to nuzzle the sobbing and beyond happy filly cradled in her great bosom. “Yes my little Sweetling, it’s me, your mother.”
“I know. I could feel it the moment I saw you. Mummy, I thought you were gone….” Chrysalis wept, both sad and overjoyed to be united with her birth mother at last. Tia was a wonderful mom, and auntie Zerona and Sonata were wonderful family, but she always wanted her original mom anyway.
“Hush, hush. Hush little filly don’t say a word. Mummy will protect you from the world~.” Ichor suddenly began singing with an unbelievably soothing voice as she swiftly moved to another door that thankfully led to Ava’s room.
“That was so beautiful….” Ava whispered with a sniffle. “I think we should leave them alone for now.”
“Agreed.” Sonata said. Suddenly, they were both aware of the uncomfortable silence. “Oh...you remember….”
“Sonata, I remember everything. You had something to tell me?” Ava Prodded, Sonata uncomfortably shifting in the recliner.
“I don’t want to ruin this, it’s a time of happiness.” Sonata weakly said. “Just forget I said anything.”
“Sonata….” Ava said warningly, her eyes narrowing into slits.
“...I’m so...so sorry….” Sonata rasped as tears began to leak from her simulated tear-ducts, meant more to emulate emotion as well as keep her optics lubricated. “I should have told you earlier.”
“What is it.” Ava demanded gently.
“...One of our eggs…is a Stillborn.”
