Discord was starting to wake up now, although there was no light. He felt very sleepy, but something hard was all over his back. Then a small eruption sent him well on his feet. He looked over to the little volcano in the distance, but that was the least of his worries. He was on a planet- not in whiteness that the three were usually in. Father never told us that we were going to see a planet in reality! Celly and Freeze- Celly and Freeze! He looked around to find the other two beings, and they were lying not too far from him.

He rushed over to them. Frozone was an exact replica of Discord, except for his two dragon wings instead of Discord's little wings. Frozone also had various shades of blue instead of a mix-and-match like Discord.

"Freeze, wake up!" Discord shouted. Frozone was a heavy sleeper, but woke up fast. Discord thought the hard texture of this planet was one of the causes Frozone woke up. All the shouting and eruptions also woke up Celestia, now back on her hooves.

"Where are we?!" Celestia asked, panic attacking her from all sides. It was time the three realized that they were in a large crater, in which numerous smaller craters were also present. Three volcanoes loomed high in the distance, and the sky was pitch black, aside from one white star shining proudly over the darkness.

"It looks like a planet Father told us about..." Frozone muttered, shaking the sleepiness away from himself.

"You are right, my little children." A deep and loud voice came from supposedly the big star, which soothened the three fillies to no end. The star seemed to grow bigger.

"Father!" the three cried in unison.

"Why are we here, Father?" Discord asked, now jumping over to the star.

"Actually, this is the place you will live from now on." The voice replied, followed by disgusting sounds from the three. "As I have told you, you will someday lead a planet. It is time you did, my children."

They were happy hearing this. Discord thought he could play endlessly. Frozone thought he could make whatever he wanted. Celestia's eyes sparkled at the thought of the possibilities.

"However, I cannot stay with you." Father added as the smiling faces fell.

"B-but why, Father? Did we do something wrong?" Celestia asked, and then fell down, sobbing.

"Please don't leave us, Father!" Frozone cried.

"Be brave, my little children. I have thought that you cannot create life without more help, so I have decided to gift you with two precious surprises before I go." Father said, before two sparkles appeared in front of the three. One disappeared to show a small, dark blue ball with four studs poking from it. It had two very big eyes, and a little nose and mouth. It had a small light blue mane and tail. Overall, it resembled Celestia.

The other light disappeared to become a small Draconeqi. He was different-looking than the twins, through. He still had a pony's head, but with uniform eyes, snake-like fangs, and elk antlers. His fur was a dark reddish brown as well. His right arm was that of a bear, his left a coyote's paw. His left wing was a ravens' while his right a brown bat's, one of his legs being a deer's, the other a grey wolf, a skunk's tail where Discord had a snake's.

"Eh, what are these?" Celestia asked, ducking away from the two small stubs.

"These are babies, my children, just like you, but younger. They are your siblings, as a matter of fact." Father replied. "I have named them Luna and Sakak."

"W-What are we supposed to do with them?" Frozone asked.

"Take care of them, that is." Father replied. "I must leave now. I might be able to visit you, but that is unlikely. Good luck, my little children."

The star that was father dimmed and then disappeared with a pop, leaving the sobbing wreck of five creatures behind on a barren rock.

After what seemed like days, but was only three to four hours, they stopped crying.

"S-So what now?" Discord asked.

"I suppose we have to make life here." Celestia said.

"But how? There is no sun, no moon, no water, no air!" Frozone said. "In fact, nothing that Father told us about."

"Then I guess we will have to make them." Discord said. The three children jumped with excitement.

"Alright! Discord, you manage the sun, I will manage the water, and Frozone can manage the moon!" Celestia said.

"Ahem, Celly, we are on a barren rock. How are we going to do that?" Frozone asked.

"Oh. Right." Celestia mumbled, excitement washing away from her face.

"You remember, planet basics class?" Discord asked, jumping again. "They said make a volcano, use fire to create a sun, and use the smoke to create a atmosphere, and then make water!"

"Oh, yeah!" Celestia said.

"Let's do it!" Frozone said as they jumped and started digging. That was when they heard the cries of their new siblings.

"Oh. We forgot about Sakak and Luna!" Celestia said.

"Alright, we keep digging, you go silence them." Frozone said.

"Alright." Celestia happily said and jumped over to the small babies. "Hmm... what now?" She asked to herself and moved towards them. Luna clinged over to Celestia's tail, and Sakak jumped on her head as soon as she was near. Celestia freaked out and started running around.

The first day was pretty disastrous, Frozone and Discord looking for lava, Celestia freaking out from the new siblings, and the new siblings making Celestia freak out on purpose. This is the start of Bringing up Planet.
