Chapter 19: The Grand Galloping Galla part 3

Previous Chapter Next Chapter

Author's Notes:

Yo, I'm back, as promised. There might be a slight delay for the next chapter, but hopefully it will be a week from now if nothing comes up.

I was thinking that if you guys enjoyed the previous chapter, I should re-write every chapter in that format? Im thinking after I finish the story. Let me know what you think!!

Also I hope this isn't going too fast with the shit that's happening in the story. I don't want anyone to lose interest....again....

As always, let me know any spelling mistakes if you spot any ^_^

{Silver pov.}

I don't know what happened. One second I was smushed by Flutters, next I was on the ground screaming in pain, a necrotic acid melting my cheek as i was pinned down by something heavy, the stench of death burning my eyes and nostrils. I felt chunks of flesh slowly drag down my chin and onto the ground, carried by the liquefied remains. I could feel my tongue threaten to burst through the remaining flesh.

“I….Aghm...sowy, mistas.” The thing on top of me said, sorrow deep within it's broken voice. “Lish...is noght...ov my oan...doin.” It gurgled as i thrashed on the ground. He was either super strong it really fucking heavy cause even with my demon strength boosting me I couldn't throw it off. It's thick, leathery appendages held my arms and legs still, continuing to breath death in my face. I could see Coal Tars flow freely through its skinless maw, it's sharp, rotten teeth gleaming in the moonlight. Then it hit me.

It was a fucking Naberius.

The acid dripped from its maw and eye holes, its face barely resembled a pony, if it even used to be one. It had six limbs, four of which being hands, the last two were completely different from each other, one being a hoof and the other being what I could only guess as a gryphon's claw. Seeing it's face, smelling it's breath, it made me thrash all that harder, until a thought hit me.

'Why am i still trying?’ The thought froze me in place. 'I have nothing to live for, no one to live for. I could just end it here, I think It's better if I just let this thing kill me here and now, it would be so easy.’ I slowly lost the feeling of...well... everything. The acidic burning no longer stung, the feeling of being pinned down no longer reminded me of Michael, the lukewarm body warmth from the ghoul that made my skin crawl disappeared. ….my….emotions…. I felt nothing. It faded away. I laughed as my dull, barely silver eyes watched the ghouls teeth close in on me. 'Fuck, how broken am I? I guess in am a worthless, stupid bitch, huh? Guess Michael was right, why would anyone care about me? Why should anyone care? Why should I care?’

“S-stop!” A quiet whimper drew me out of the dark recess in my mind, making me pay a little more attention. “P-please stop.” The whimper cried out again, sounding even more desperate than before. Something about that voice made me squirm, made me want to fight, if only little bit. I managed to crane my head far enough to see who it was. My eyes widened, my breath catching on itself.

“Fluttershy?” I weakly asked as I watched another Naberius on top of her, this one only had three limbs, if anyone cared that is, it's acid dripping onto her wing and chest. I watched as she screamed in silence, or was she screaming her lungs out? I couldn't quite hear. ‘....no….’ I heard a voice in the back of my head, it was quiet and practically non-existent, but still there. ‘...not her….please no!’ The voice grew louder until I realised it was my voice. 'Please not her! Anypony but her! Not Fluttershy! Not my friend!’ I latched onto that voice, as if I was a terrified child huddling next to a nightlight, quickly regaining everything. My senses returned, and with it the pain, but instead of blocking it out, I latched onto that as well, embracing it. 'I will not put her through that again!’ An image of Fluttershy weeping as she held my dying body in her arms flashed in my mind, practically the last thing I saw before blacking out. 'I can't give up! I just can't, not yet! I won't make her cry like that again! I'll get the help I need, just stop making her cry!’

I could hear her blood curdling screaming.

My body blazed with blue fire, violent and wild in my rage as my body changed. 'Not my friend. Not her. NOT. MY. FLUTTERSHY!’ The ghoul on top of me screeched and howled in agony as it's leathery skin burned and boiled, blisters ruptured and bursted, flinging their fluids and evaporating as soon as they touched my flame. With a burst of my demonic strength, I kicked the walking corpse off of me, impaling it onto a low hanging branch of the tree. It didn't take long for the other naberius to take note of its comrade. Too little too late, however, as with a mear pulse of fire, both it and Fluttershy were set ablaze, the ghoul screaming in its slurred voice while Fluttershy curled up into a ball, unaffected by the flame. The ghoul scrambled off of her, diving into the pool. Heh, that won't fucking save you, cunt.

I could feel my power regrow and knit my cheek together at remarkable speeds, leaving little more than a small indent scar the size of my pinky nail. And even then, it was barely visible. The fire on Flutters did the same, knocking out any loose feathers before regrowing the wing and chest to what it was before in all its beauty. I rushed over to her, checking her over quickly before commanding the flames to disperse.

“Fluttershy! Are you okay?!” I held tightly onto her shoulders, more than likely hurting her, checking for anything despite knowing the my flame already fixed everything. Heh, could you blame me? She snapped out of whatever funk she was in, her eyes focusing on me as her tears dripped down her cheeks. Barely a second later, she hugged me tightly, threatening to crack my ribs under the strength. “Flutters, you sure your not a half-demon like me?” I jokingly asked trying to make light of the situation, whether it failed or not I had no clue as she said, nothing only clinging harder.

“So...warm…” She said quietly, rubbing her cheek against my shoulder as she did her best to wipe her tears. It….warmed me a little….in a..strange sort of way, a different heat other than my power. This moment, unfortunately, didn't last. The two corpses started to crawl towards us, surprisingly ignoring the blue flame that consumed them. A considerably large burnt branch stuck out of the torso of one of them, having snapped it of somewhere between my worrying, the other was draped in various dried plant matter, flaking away with each lumbering step it took towards us.

Training instincts kicking in, I gently pushed Flutters to the side, i practically ripped my dress by pulling out my pistol, charging it with flame as I popped a bullet in the chamber. The two circled us like vulchers, waiting for a chance to pounce. I never took my eyes off of them, constantly flipping between them. The two pounced at once, diving towards me from opposite directions, with their arms held outward, long boney claws bursting from their rotten fingertips. Black, old blood splattered their hands, oozing out like syrup.

I was quick enough to grab one of them by its wrists, pummeling the other with its body, which sent it tumbling backwards, before planting the barrel of my gun into its chest, firing a few round. It didn't seem to affect it much as it locked a hand around my throat and slammed me into the ground, knocking the air out of my lungs. Time seemed to slow somewhat, both the me n’ the corpse inching closer together at an agonizing pace, my mind running a million thoughts per second.

It allowed me to plan out what I was going to do. 'What was I going to do?’ I asked myself, I haven't fought a Naberius before, I can't even remember the verse to banish it. Now that I think about it, would that hurt me as well? 'Gah! Not the time, idiot!’ I scolded myself as I felt time revert back to the norm, feeling the demon's hand...claw….things.. tightening around my throat, choking me.

“Listen...dude...I don't mind a bit of choking, but at least buy me dinner!” I yelled through grit teeth, using my strength to snap its wrist and striking it's stomach with my feet, watching it collide with the other one. I really need to give them names, cuz this must be confusing. I'll call the one that I just sent flying Sixer, on account of its limbs, and the other Tripod.

Listen, I suck at name's, fuck off!

Anyway, Sixer and Tripod quickly got off of eachother, growling at me the entire time. In the form of highest communication, I growled back, flaring my fire. I could see Fluttershy hiding in a bush nearby, watching with….dull, hollow, yet worried eyes, kinda like her whole meaning of life had vanished. Did I do that to her? What else is new? It seems like no matter what, all I do is ruin everything for everybody, as if just by living I'm hurting someone for another day.

'Fuck, my story has really messed with her , huh? Ha, and haven't even told her half of the shit that's happened.’

Sixer launched himself towards me, using its friend as a launchpad, it's claws fully extended. I jumped to the side, pushing with my right foot, however, I didn't react fast enough. Its claws skiffed my belly, tearing a good chunk of my dress and exposing my navel. Marginally pissed, I poured as much power as I could into my arms and slammed my fists into its face in a overhang fashion, locking my fingers together. By Christ I must hit like a jackhammer, as it's teeth were utterly fucked into nothing, literally vaporised, as was half of its face, mind you.

The ground was splattered with its blood as Sixer hit the ground hard, rolling in the mud with a strangely horrific squelching sound. I turned around just in time to grab Tripod’s hands, squeezing hard enough to snap its bones. A left hook, right uppercut finished with a headbut made it fall onto its back. Pinning it down, I grabbed its third appendage and pulled, hard, ripping it off in a shower of blood and a sickening tear, leaving a messy stump. It screamed and hollered in agony as I worked my flame through its stump. Hammering the final nail in its coffin, I fired my gun point blank into its face, splattering its dead brains all over the place.

I didn't get a chance to revel in its disintegration as I was once again pounced on by Sixer. The sudden strong force made me lose my grip on my pistol, It flew off somewhere close as I heard a loud ‘thunk’ shortly after. I watched as it grew a new set of rotten teeth that shortly sliced through my left shoulder like it was nothing, my blood curdling scream was loud enough to send the birds that were perched atop the castle balcony to fly off, and no doubt drawing the attention of everypony inside. There must have been something in its saliva as I could feel my body get weaker and weaker, like a paralyzing agent or something, although I could still see and feel things. Try as I might, my punches and kicks had less and less of an effect on it. It grabbed my right arm around the midpoint between my hand and my elbow, and crushed it, I could feel my bones snap, a large chunk of it poking out against my skin.

I don't think I need to describe the pain I felt. It was unbearable, enough to bring back some more horrid memories to surface. Tch, I couldn't make a sound, I was locked in a silent scream as my vision began to flash and blur, and I knew that I didn't have long to stay conscious. I've passed out from pain before, after all. My flame died out as I lost my concentration, my body morphing back to its 'normal’ state as he threw my limp arm to the side.

'It seems that even despite the training by Cleaver, I'm still fucking useless huh? Now I'm staring death in its ugly face and I can't do anything about it.’ It pulled away from me, ripping a good amount of flesh from my shoulder, spraying blood everywhere. My blood dribbled down its mutilated face, mixing with the toxin that leaked from its teeth. It was about to lunge for my face before what remained of its head blew apart, a loud bang firing off somewhere behind me. It's body collapsed onto me, slowly dripping blood onto my face as it disintegrated. It wasn't there for long before being pushed off of me by a pair of soft yellow hands, one of them still holding onto my gun in her shaking hands. Those same hands moved under my armpits and dragged me away from the corpse, leaving a trail of blood as I was moved. The steel of the gun poked my right tit, it's a pain but it's better than just a few moments ago.

Fluttershy sat down criss-cross style propping me up on her legs. I couldn't see what she was doing, but I could hear the sounds of her panicked voice and the tearing of fabric, but that's about it. I could feel her press something on my wound, its sting brought me from the brink, clearing my vision somewhat, even if it was only for a moment. She tore her dress up to try to soak up and stop the bleeding. I could her her shouting... something...waving my pistol at whatever rustled, be it wind or critter.

'Yeah…..sh- she's definitely gonna…..gonna kill someone...better stop...her.’ I gently grabbed her wrist, smearing some blood on her fur. She flinched, almost pulling the trigger a she looked towards me. I gave her the best smile I could as I weakly pushed the gun from out of her hand, which happened surprisingly fast. It cluttered to the ground with a muffled sound as the energy quickly left from my body. Fluttershy held my hand with both of hers, shaking and squeezing it so that I'd stay awake. Heh, how cute. Her hands are strangely warm, soft too, despite my blood coating them. Man I could get used to this, her warm hands I mean, not the whole 'beaten to a bloody pulp’ thing.

…Jesus, what the fuck am I talking about?...

“Heh, I need…..a drink. Definitely….. whisky….” I muttered softly as I passed out, the image of a panicking Fluttershy slowly fading away.

Celestia sipped on the glass of wine in her hands, enjoying the fruity taste as she laid on her couch in her bed chambers. The fire crackled and popped in front of her, the light from the fireplace illuminating her and the couch, leaving the rest of the room surrounded in darkness, leaving only the faintest of outlines from the furniture. She watched the flames dance and lick at the stone frame, the veins of heat split down the thick logs like lighting, zigzagging from one end to the other.

“Sister! Our hunch was right!” Luna shouted, pushing the doors open with such a force that it slammed against the wall, threatening to pop off of its golden hinges. Scared out of her mind, it took every drop of willpower not to blast her sisters with every destructive spell she knew. The two stared at each other awkwardly, the dull golden light from Celestia's horn basking the two. Letting out a breath, Celestia canceled out her magic, setting aside her wine glass before shifting in her seat, patting the space next to her.

“Now, could you repeat that and not shout on my face, dear sister.” A dark scarlet blush spread from cheek to cheek, her ear tips growing rosey as she gave her sister a bashful smile. However, the smile quickly vanished.

“Ahem, I'm afraid our deepest fears have come to pass. The prophecy has come and you and I know who it is. Twilight and the girls are in mortal danger if this 'Silver’ continues to run rampant!” Luna slammed a fist against the arm rest, nearly breaking the entire couch.

“I-i….are you absolutely sure sister? I know how you feel about...him. Are you sure this Silver is the daughter of that monster, and not your anger clouding your judgement?” Celestia asked, placing her on sisters shoulder. “I hate him just as much as you, after what he did to our parents, but we need to make sure.”

“Yes I'm sure, sister! I watched her use his flame on the Naberius I summoned on her! We need to take care of her now!”

“While I should berate you on using that summon, especially after what happened four thousand years ago, I'll take your word for it. However, we can't be to hasty. We can't just take her by random, especially if the foreign embassies catches wind of her abduction.” Celestia nursed her wine as she and her sister thought in silence.

This wasn't an easy decision to make.

It must have been an hour or two before I regained consciousness, opening my eyes to the typical hospital scene. You know the one, tiled floors and ceilings, heart-rate monitor that sat next to the bedside dresser, a water dispenser in the corner with the two nozzles. That clean, hospital smell flooded my nose as the harsh, bright light stung my eyes. There was no one else in the room with me, meaning that Fluttershy was probably alright and in the waiting room, or sitting on the benches outside my room. 'Do they even have those here? Speaking of, where is here? I must still be in Canterlot, right?’ A painful pulse throbbed along my entire left side as I tried to sit up, a warm sticky sensation following its wake.

“Ah! Fuck!” I couldn't help but yell as I was practically forced back down onto bed, my body unable to support itself. Causing even more pain to shoot throughout my body. “Greeeeat.” I groaned, looking over my shoulder and shivering at the strange warm/cold blood mix that soaked into the bandage that covered the wound. “Just what I wanted, to be back in the hospital after just being released.” I sighed, looking around the room I noticed a comfy looking wooden chair with either cotton or cloud padding. Laying over the armrest was a pair of my clothes, jeans and a long sleeved shirt. On the actual seat my my pistol and my holster, that had somehow not been damaged throughout that whole ordeal, a few strands of pink hair and yellow fur were scattered around on the chair.

'I guess she was here then.’

Speaking of damage, I did a once over my body, noting that I still had my dress on once I kicked the blankets to the side. My right arm was fucked, completely bruised and numb. It was forced straight with metal reinforced with a cast and held up with that annoying sling. It always rubbed painfully against my..….well, my nipple.

Well at least it won't be a problem, at least until I move it. Speaking of, I wonder if I can get some meds to ease this pain. I noticed that the bandages around my wrists had been changed. I guess Fluttershy gave word to the staff about my want to hide them. I managed to work my way to the side of the bed, planting my feet onto the cold floor, sending icy spikes up them. I winced as my knees popped standing up, wobbling slightly. I'm the corner of the room I spotted a full body mirror, and Jesus I looked like a mess, hell the bags under my eyes had bags.

My dress was ruined, caked in blood, mud and sludge and practically torn to pieces. My eyes were drawn to the part where the ghoul slashed on my navel, revealing a nasty burn scar that was larger than my hand. I frowned as I tried to cover it, trying to hide my shame. After all, it's my fault, wasn't it? If I had just listed to Michael, he wouldn't have punished me. If i had been good, I wouldn't have half the scars I had…

Slowly, I striped the dress off of me, letting it fall to the ground. My eyes became dull and dark as my eyes trailed over my body, undoing my hair, I let it gather In front of my face, shrouding my eyes in darkness as they traced every small and large scar from every time I was thrown into furniture, punched, kicked or otherwise forced to cut myself. A flash brought me back to that house, remembering him standing over me, watching as I split my inner thigh skin with that icy blade, smelling the blood slowly dribble down and stain my socks. With a blink, the flashback ended and I was alone again, staring at the long vertical scar that ended at my belly button, part of it hidden by my bra.

God I hate my body.

My tail twitched, reminding me that I was basically naked in a room that anyone could enter at anytime. That wouldn't do, had to hide my shame whilst I still could. It took a while, but I managed to get changed into my clothes. It was fucking painful when I had to slip on the shirt, having to navigate my left arm through the sleeve almost made me cry out, but I managed to bare it. I didn't try my other arm, couldn't be arsed, so I just pulled the shirt over it and let the sleeve dangle. I left my pistol and holster on the chair, seeing no reason to slip it on.

I sat on the edge of the bed, facing away from the door and letting my thoughts run rampant as I parted my hair, tucking it behind my ears. I really need to cut it, it's starting to go beyond my neck. I held my tail in my hands rubbing the fur with my fingers and scratching curtain spots before sighing and lifting my shirt, letting it coil around my waist. I sat there in silence for what must have been half an hour before I heard the door open with a creak. I didn't make a move, not fully registering that I now had company. I could pick up faint whispering firing back and forth before somepony stepped forward, silencing the whispers. Their hooves slowly, almost hesitantly, rasped against the tiles. I could feel the bed shift as that pony sat down behind me, placing a hand on my good shoulder.

“Silver?” Fluttershy said, oozing with concern as she lightly pulled on my shoulder. “Silver you should be resting, especially after what we've been through.” She leaned in, her warm breath made the hair on the back of my neck stand, and whispered. “Don't worry, I haven't told them about...you know…”

“Thanks,” I whispered back, “I know, I know. I didn't mean to make any of you worry, It's just that I've just spent enough time in bed. That and the pain isn't exactly making helping.”

“I'll go fetch a nurse, then.” I heard Rainbow say before she flew out of the room. Knowing I wouldn't win against Fluttershy, I leaned back onto the bed, leaving enough room so that she didn't have to get up to move. The rarity and twilight sat down on the nearby chairs, Applejack propped herself against the wall hanging her stetson up on a peg behind the door. Pinky just sorta…stood there, in silence, staring at the floor with sorrowful eyes. In fact they all had it written across their faces.

“How are you feeling?” Twilight asked as she rubbed her fingers, shifting in her seat a little.

“I'm….tired, to be honest.” I wanted to lie, say I was alright and happy, but I doubt I could lie anymore. “So much has happened in so little time. I'm on the brink of a breakdown, not that I haven't had one already, and I'm just….tired. I just want one day, just one, where I don't have to deal with... anything. No demon's, no deaths, no bad memories.

“I know, you all want to know about what happened in my...past. And I know I'm not in your best light at the moment, deciding whether or not I should be trusted and all that. But I will tell you. One day. I'm just not ready at the-” I was cut off by the sudden group hug I found myself in, everyone held me tightly, working around my shoulder and arm. It took all the strength I had not to burst out crying, to let out everything I had inside me, and even then I started sob uncontrollably, my lips trembled, my eyes burned as I tried to keep them at bay.

I was so god damn close to breaking then and there, the warm comforting hugs were almost enough to utterly shatter me. In a good way, I suppose. The shushing that a few of them breathed out didn't help. I didn't know what to say or do, my energy was completely sapped away.

“It's okay, Silver. You don't have to say a thing if you don't want to.” I heard pinky say, her voice no longer shipper and happy. I suppose even she knows when to calm down, huh? For the first time in a while I smiled a true smile, not a fake one or a half assed one, but a genuine smile.

A hard few knocks snapped us from the hug, the group quickly scrambling to their original spots as the nurse gave a harsh glare as she tapped impatiently on her clipboard held on her hands. She let out a sigh, brushing her beige mane out of her face and into her hair clip. Her brown, glossy fur reflected the lights in the room in a way that emphasized her amber eyes. She wore a long white coat over a pair of scrubs that his her cutiemark.

“It's good to see you awake, Miss Silver. We've managed to neutralize the toxin in your body but you may feel a bit strange for a while, but from what I'm told by your medical records here, it will pass shortly. You're wounds on the other hand may be a different story. The gaping wound has been dressed in a special solvent and had a magically enhanced, synthetic graft.” She flipped a few pages in the clipboard to show a particularly... graphic image of my body. Nothing exposing my breasts or anything, but it showed the grisly bite mark, teeth marks n’ all. A second image was pinned next to the other one, with practically the same image. The only thing that was different was that the wound was now covered with a strange, white substance that was sewn into the surrounding skin.

“As you can no doubt tell when you woke up, the graft has already begun it's work. You're blood and nerve vessels have already begun to interweave throughout the graft, however, they are still weak so try not to move around too much, as they are prone to bursting and causing more harm than good. Again we aren't sure how long it'll take before you full recover, however we estimate that'll take around a month to fully heal.” She flipped the pages back to the original page and set it aside, quickly moving over to my side of the bed, gently moving my arm. “Now, your arm is a different matter altogether, much more simple, all we've done is align the broken bones and set it into place.”

“Speaking of, I don't suppose I could get some painkillers or something? I'm in pain all over.” I groaned as she laid my arm back down. She gave a short nod before reaching into her coat and pulling out an orange pill bottle. And set it onto the bedside table.

“Yeah, that's the last thing I wanted to talk to you about, you should take one every six hours and it should dull the pain until heals properly, the most common side effect is drowsiness. If you run out before it heals you can easily get a repeat prescription at the Ponyville hospital. We’ll keep you in for tonight do we can monitor you, after that we'll see if you can leave tomorrow.” After double checking the bandages, grunting in concern once she saw the drying blood covering them, she pinned her clipboard under her armpit as she walked towards the doorway before suddenly stopping to turn her head. “By the way, visiting hours are over, please wrap things up as quick as possible.”

“Aw man, really?” Rainbow, who I didn't notice had come back in, said as she pouted. “I really wanted to hear how you kicked ass!” She exclaimed, pulling the classic 80’s movie karate chops and kicks with the ‘awaaaaaa’ sound.

“I'm afraid that it's just gonna have to wait till tomorrow, Dash.” I said, Letting out a yawn. “Besides, I want to hear how your nights went first. I'll see you guys in the morning.”

“Fiiiinne,” Rainbow groaned out, with a pout, “I'll see you later Silvs.” She slumped out of the room with a huff. The others also said their goodbyes, leaving one by one till it was just me and Fluttershy. We sat there in silence for a moment, unable to think of anything to talk about.

But we didn't care. Eventually though, she slipped off of the bed, stretching her wings before waving goodbye to me. But in that moment I had a very strange idea pop into my head, one that I just had to follow. My hand reached out to grab hers, only just managing to grab her fingers. God they were so warm.

“C-could you s-stay for the night?” I hesitantly asked, hiding behind my hair as it shifted in front of me, unbeknownst to me at that moment, my cheeks and the tips of my ears burned a rosy red. I didn't want to ask her that but, I really don't want to be alone at the moment. “It's cool if you leave after I fall asleep, but I just want someone around for now.”

“Oh, s-sure! I'll stay with you.” She quickly stepped to the edge of the bed parting my hair to the side as she gave me a motherly look. “Do need anything, a drink to wash that pill down?” I gave a short nod leaning over to grab the bottle, popping it open with my teeth and tapping one out. It was a round, white tablet with strange writing on it that I couldn't even dream to pronounce.

Shortly after closing the cap, Shy handed me a cup of water. It was one of those reusable, plastic ones. I gagged a little as it brushed against my tongue, leaving a bitter trail as I swallowed. It was strange, the taste of pill reminded me of fluoxetine, something I had the misfortune of having when I was younger. I don't know why exactly, I mean, most pills just taste the same to me.

“Ugh, that's disgusting.” I shivered, my body obviously hated it too. It almost made me throw up, it was that fucking bad. Jesus. I watched her gingerly pick up the gun and holster, laying it next to the pill bottle before dragging the comfy chair to my left side, sitting down with an exhausted sigh. “You do know I don't mind if you sit down on the bed, right?”

“I know, I just want to give you as much space as you need.” She said with a smile, gently taking my hand in both of her own, rubbing my palm with her thumbs. It felt, weird, but in a good way. A sudden wave of drowsiness passed over me, my pains fading somewhat to a dull throb, my vision growing fuzzy. It seems like the drugs kicked in, rather fast too. She continued to make small talk, her words fading every second as they came out. I think she knew I was falling asleep, regardless she just kept on talking about nothing and everything, falling onto deaf ears. I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer, as if some sorta weight was pressing on my eyelids.

I awoke from my dreamless sleep as the first if the sun's rays hit my face, bathing me in its warmth. Though, that wasn't the only thing that was warm on me at the moment. A weight shifted on my stomach and arm, rubbing against the former before settling. Blinking the sleep from my eyes, I leaned forward slightly spotting a sleeping Fluttershy drooling a little on my shirt, her wings twitching under a warm looking blanket that was draped over her shoulders.

“...cute…” I muttered though my dazed stupor before leaning back, staring at the ceiling, losing myself a little in my thoughts. 'I wonder how Eddie's doing right now. It's been awhile since I talked to him, even before coming to Equestria.’ A series of knocks brought me back to the land of the living.

“Come in.” I tried to say softly, only coming out as a raspy wheeze, fuck I need some water. The door squeaked open, and the doctor from last night walked in, her hooves clopping on the tiles. I put a finger to my lips, wincing as I used my broken arm. Look my other hand is kinda preoccupied at the moment, being held and squeezed by a sleeping Fluttershy. The doctor gave a nod of understanding as she got closer.

“How’re you doing? Any problems or anything?” She whispered, crouching to my level.

“No, everything feels fine, at the moment at least, well apart from my dry throat. That medication works fast, after a few minutes it just kicked in like a jackhammer.”

“Yes, that's what most ponies say after their first dose, it'll gradually get easier, however, it won't knock you out as fast once you're body gets adjusted to it.” She pulled a clipboard out of fucking nowhere, like literal Pinkie Pie level logic, and flipped through a few pages. “After monitoring you for the night, I can safely say that you can leave today, whenever you want, however you can stay here if you feel like somethings wrong. In any case, I'd advise you not to do anything too straining, that means no fighting or adventuring, no heavy lifting, and absolutely no demon hunting. I know you're type, I face it every day with new demon hunters and exorcists.

“One of these days I'm going to complain to those groups, their sending too many inexperienced ponies to their deaths.” She finished with a huff, tuting as she shook her head. “In any case, let the receptionist know before you leave.” I gave her a nod and watched as she straightened herself up and walked out, shutting the door quietly after herself.

“Hm, so there is a group of exorcists. Better keep my temper in check whilst I'm in big cities like this, don't want to expose myself. Speaking of, I'll use my power to heal myself once I get back to Ponyville.” Fluttershy groaned in her sleep, squeezing my hand a little. I couldn't help by squeeze back, smiling as a warm look crossed her face, shifting to 'look’ at me as her hair gathered In front of her face. Slowly removing my arm from its sling, I dragged my fingers through her lovely pink hair, gently stroking and petting it, getting it out of her face.

Jesus it's soft, kinda like her fur but only more silky. She hummed is my fingers brushed against one of her ears, flicking and twitching from the touch. The sun's rays began to creep down my body, slowly consuming not my and Flutters body in its warmth. Fluttershy groaned and squirmed as the light righted her face, nuzzling against my stomach to try and get away, to no avail. She yawned tapering off into a squeak as she slowly rose from my body, looking around with a sleepy daze until she set her eyes on me.

“Mornin, sleepyhead. Can I have my arm back now?” I slipped my hand back through the sling. She stared in confusion before looking at her hand, then back to me, then back to her hand, before letting out a loud eep, letting go of my hand and stumbling as she quickly shot up and backpedaled, tumbling over the chair and falling to the ground in an utter mess. I couldn't help but snort, carefully holding my hand to my mouth, trying to hold in my laughter. “Idiot.” I joked as I fully sat up.

“Owie….” Fluttershy groaned as she sat up, her legs splayed to the side as she rubbed her forehead with a grimace. I rose from the bed, wincing as I rolled my shoulder, my back popped in multiple places, earning a blissful sigh from me. “H-hey, you shouldn't be moving!” She quickly rushed to my side with a worried face, gently pushing me back.

“Nah, it's okay. The Doc came by and told me I could leave when I want, though I have to be careful until I get better. I'll heal myself when we get home so I don't arouse too much suspicion.” I whispered the last part, can't be too careful. She paused for a moment before nodding, helping me to my feet. I wobbled slightly as the cold chill of the tile rushed my skin, straining myself with a shiver. As I walked towards my shoes that sat quietly next to the door, Fluttershy slinked around the bed, picking up the bottle of pills and my pistol, jamming it into its holder hastily and clicking the cover shut.

By the time I finished towing my laces, Shy had walked back over to me, daintily pressing her hand against the small of my back, just in case I got dizzy or something. I gave her a small smile before nodding to me self, opening the door to the hallway, the classic clean and fresh smell filled my lungs. Is it weird I enjoy this kinda shit? Double checking if my tail was tucked away, the both of us walked the maze like corridors, more than once finding a dead end or a storeroom. It felt like an hour had passed before we finally found the stairway that led to the ground floor.

Turns out we were on the sixth floor.

…..Why does the universe hate me?

I collapsed into one of the lobby’s metal waiting chairs as I was ordered to while Fluttershy filled out a few forms at the front desk, shyly hiding behind her pink locks as the receptionist talked. The lobby was large and mostly vacant, its bland color giving an eerie feel to the room. I could see a few other groups of ponies around me, a single stallion sat across from me. He had a distant, almost catatonic state, most likely been told some bad news or had way to much on their mind. It's a state I know far too well. He caught me staring, but instead of being weirded out by me, he gave me a nod. One of understanding.

‘Fuck am I that readable now? Just the other week I had been able to hide everything and now it seems that every can see that something was wrong with me. This is why I don't like opening up, leaves me feeling naked.’ I thought as i gave a nod back, a dark look shading my face. He went back to staring at nothing.

One group of four mares who sat a few chairs away from me were laughing at each other about something, jumpy and ecstatic. Looks like they've had some really good news. To be honest, it made me smile, seeing those strangershappy. One of the mares, a cream coloured unicorn with a blueberry mane that was weaved into a ponytail, caught my eye. Her wide sunset pink eyes were framed by a red flush that spread from the tip of her ear over her soft looking face and over to her other ear. She wore a pink hoodie that mostly hid a school shirt, leaving the hard collar and tie exposed. She also wore a pair of trousers, the weird kind that schools normally make you wear. A pair of gray framed glasses were delicately placed at the base of her snout. At the raise of my eyebrow she quickly looked down to her hooves, which quickly drew the other three's attention to her. I shrugged taking notice of them, I quickly regretted moving as a lance of pain shot across my arm.

I glanced to the right and spotted a small green Earthpony filly, with a bandana around her head and only a few strands of black tail hair. She had no cutiemark either. It only took a second to figure out that she had Cancer, at such a young age too. Jesus that's so fucked up, she doesn't even look seven yet. She was running circles around her parents, laughing to her heart's content as they tried to catch her, 'failing’ every time. Her mother is a rather small, brown pegasus with a soft orange mane and tail. She wore a red woven cardigan that hid a purple shirt, a pair of blue jeans hung tightly against her frame, but not so tight as to hinder movement. Her father is a total fucking giant, rivaling Big Mac in terms of muscle and height. He was a yellow, almost golden, Earthpony with a dark green mane and tail. He wore a working shirt that was caked in paint, something with his cargo shorts, which was beige in colour.

It seems like even here there are somethings that magic just can't fix. Pushing that depressing thought out, I let out a sigh and leaned backward, hanging my head over the backrest of the chair, making me lift my body off of the seat. It gave me a clear, if not upside down, image of Fluttershy. She was fumbling around with a pile of clipped papers as she walked towards me. 'This must be the part where I sign.’

“This must be the part where I sign, right Flutters?” She jumped slightly from my bored tone, not noticing that I was staring at her. Her face quickly grew red as she threatened to drop the papers, not knowing that the position on the chair I was in gave her an ample view of my tits. ‘Huh, a few ponies seem to have flushed faces, Fluttershy included. There must be a bug going around.’

“Y-yes! I mean, yeah. Uhm, p-please don't sit like that, your...uhm, well. You'll hurt your neck! Yes, that's it!” She quickly made me sit up straight, much to my chagrin as she pushed my head forward with some force, making my butt collide with the chair.

“Ow! Jeez, watch it Flutters.” I groaned, rubbing the back of my neck as I popped it in several places. I gave her a mock glare, she fidgeted under my gaze before ‘glaring’ back at me. She was as intimidating as a squirrel, especially with those puffed out cheeks of hers. “Come on, give me the stupid papers.”

As I began to read and check over the forms, shit about my release n’ stuff, I could see Fluttershy stare at me weirdly, almost longingly, like she was wanting to ask me something, or perhaps waiting for me to do something. 'She probably wants to know more about my past…’ I thought as I moved on autopilot, my eyes grew dull with a shadow obscuring them. As if knowing something was wrong, I felt Fluttershy's furry hands reach under me and cup my chin, lifting my face to meet hers. Silence resigned over us as she rubbed my cheek with her thumb. For some reason, it seemed to help. I could feel my mood improving as I looked into her sparkling eyes, mesmerized by their colour. We inched closer, our noses just about touching, I could feel her warm breath on my lip. Were her eyes always this beautiful?

“Ugh, look. Over there.” A snobbish voice in the distance whispered, snapping me out of the trance like state I was in. It was silent, but I could easily pick it up for some reason.

“Ugh I know. Don't those dirty fillyfoolers know it's a public place?” A second, snarky voice popped up, giggling evilly with a cliché ‘Oh ho ho ho’ anime laugh. ‘The fuck, people actually laugh like that?’

“I know right? Look at them, lost in their own little world, they should at least show some class, nopony wants to see that.” A third one chimed in as the lot of them burst into laughter. I ground my teeth as I listened to them, bearing them for all to see. I hate people like that. Fluttershy looked embarrassed, or ashamed? I couldn't tell really, but I could tell that she was uncomfortable with what they were saying about us. Behind her, I could see the green filly's parents glare at the group while also covering her ears, much to the filly’s confusion.

I couldn't take it anymore, I hate people who mock gay people, that fucking laughter, those fucking bitches! I grabbed and pulled my pistol from my hip and fired a round into the wall behind them, leaving a smoking hole directly next to one of them, narrowly missing her horn. The room went silent as I winced, the recoil of the gun jerking my shoulder. As the spent cartridge clinked on the floor, I stood up, placing the gun onto the papers that I layed on my now absent seat.

I could see that it was the same group that the cream coloured mare was in, though by her ashamed look I could tell that she wasn't one of the ponies that spoke. I strolled over to the group, glaring at the other three who I could now clearly see.The one next to the bullet hole, the one who started the whole thing, leaning as far away as she could from the hole, her brown eyes shrunken to pinpricks. She was wearing a school uniform, complete with a purple blazer and and a black skirt.

“I don't know what I should be more pissed about. The fact that you're insulting me and my friend, or the fact that you're insulting gays in general.” I walked up to the first mare, grabbing her by the collar of her shirt and pinned her against the wall with a hand. “I don't know if you know this, but you're hell of a lot lighter that a naberius. So, even with my damaged shoulder, I can lift you with ease.” Sweat condensed on her brow as the other two, also in the same school uniform rose from their chairs and backed away, but still hovering around us. “People like you should've been taught better.” I said harshly as I felt my power build up, pushing and prodding to find an escape. I managed to keep it in check though.

“M-more like you should've been taught better. Do you K-know who I am!? I am the daughter of lord Moonstone! How dare you! My father will have your head for this! Besides, you dirty fillyfoolers are what's ruining this cit-” With a roll of my eyes, I slammed her against the wall again, harder than I really wanted, but it still got my point across. Well it was either that or the fact that my eyes started to glow blue.

“I really hate people like you. Thinking that everything belongs to them, their disgusting behaviour to people 'below’ them,” I bared my fangs at her, “I couldn't care less if you were one of the princesses, this kinda shit makes me so fucking mad.” I whispered in her ear with a growl mixed in. Didn't really want to swear in front of a child. With a ‘tch’ I dropped her onto her butt, swiftly planting a foot to her stomach, holding her inplace.

“You know, you're lucky I'm not feeling all to well, otherwise I’d have beaten you to a pulp for those remarks. Don't get me wrong, I can still do it, I just don't really want to. Now if you apologise, I'll let you go.”

“As if I'll apologise to a freak like you! You, you brute! I'll make sure you rot in the dungeons for this-!” I pressed my foot harder into her stomach making her choke on her words. “Alright! Alright! I'm sorry!” The instant she said it, I released her from the ground. She quickly scrambled out of the entrance with her friends, unfortunately, I couldn't get a good look at their faces other than they were both pegai. “You won't hear the end of this!”

“I'm sure I won't.” I muttered in a bored tone, loud enough for everyone to hear. I let out a sigh. “Sorry about the damage, I'll pay for it later.” I said to the receptionist before turning to the remaining mare, who was hiding in her hoodie. “Aren't you going with you're friends?” She flinched, poking her head out with a shameful look on her face.

“N-no, I'm sorry about them. It's my fault they noticed you two. They are usually quiet when they mock others, they normally just whisper. Again, I'm sorry. Don't let me keep you from you're marefriend.” She said with a sad look on her face.

“O-oh! Uh, Shy ain't my marefriend. She's just a friend.” It was my turn to form a blush. ‘Why would she think that we were a couple? Strange.’

“Really!?” She said excitedly jumping from her seat, her hood thrown back, a strange sparkle in her eyes.

“Uhm…yeah….” I was taken aback a little from her outburst, but I pushed the strange act out of my mind. “What's your name, by the way?”

“Oh! Uhm, B-Blueberry Cream! But you can just call me blueberry….or cream….or whatever you want to call me….” Her blush deepened. ‘Of course, why am I not surprised. Jeez the naming system is so weird.’

“Nice to meet you, names Silver.” I stuck out my hand, to which Blueberry quickly snapped up with her own hand.

“So, warm…” She whispered as she let out an excited gasp. She stared at my hand in awe before letting go with a flinch. “I-im sorry. I-I'd better go before they begin to wonder where I've gone.” She said frantically, as she scratched behind her ear, refusing to look into my eyes.

“Alright. See you around Blueberry. Oh, and find better friends, with friends like those, you're gonna get in trouble. One of these days.” She hummed in acknowledgement before running after her ‘friends’.

“Be seeing you, my new friend!” She giggled waving to me as she ran, the tips of her ears growing pink as she caught my eyes again. I watched as the doors closed automatically, obscuring her form somewhat.

“Yeah…”
