Grand Theft Auto: Ponytropolis IV
Chapter 7: The Good Ol' Days
Previous Chapter Next ChapterTwilight pulled up to the crowd of police officers and quickly put the car in park. After turning off the engine, she exited her vehicle and looked at the destroyed building. The heat from the fire was immense, making the mare sweat. Looking around, she walked up to a couple of the cops, asking them where Spitfire was. When she got no answer, she left the crowd and sighed.
"Where the f..." she started, before seeing the mare asleep on the bench. Quickly running over to her, Twi began to gently shake the pegasus. "Spitfire?" She asked, holding the mare by the shoulders. "Come on, wake up!"
Letting out a tired groan, Spitfire's eyes slowly opened a crack. After muttering something, her eyes shot open fully as she quickly stood up on wobbly legs. "Where'd you..." she began, trying to keep her balance.
Twilight gently grabbed her arm and held firmly to help keep her up. "Spitfire. What happened?"
The pegasus held her head before eyeing the unicorn. "Twilight?" She asked. "Uh... Someone blew up police headquarters and... there was this mare named, uh... Star-something..."
The unicorn went wide-eyed, letting go of the mare's arm. "Starlight?"
"Yeah, that's her," the cop said as she sat back down, watching the flames as a firetruck pulled up to the building. "Did she do this?"
Twilight crossed her arms and sighed. "The Starlight I knew wouldn't, but... now, I'm not sure..."
"You know her?" Asked the cop, looking up at the unicorn.
Twilight hesitated before nodding. "When we were young... Before I came to this city... After school, she just sort of... disappeared..."
"Disappeared?" Asked Spitfire. "Well, I'd say she's back now..."
"Yes, and I will find her and--" the unicorn began.
"Bring her in... Alive," Spitfire interrupted as she crossed her arms. "There's still no proof who put the bomb in the building. Could've been someone on the inside. I'll do my own investigating but if Starlight is't responsible..."
Twilight nodded and looked away with a sigh. "Yeah... Then it's those fucking sirens..."
"Sirens?" Asked the cop, sounding confused as she sat back down on the bench.
"Those three mares I was with. They admitted to it," Twi explained. "If you believe me, then we need to bring them in before they cause any--"
"Twilight!" Spitfire yelled, placing her hands on her forehead in irritation. "I'm not arresting them without evidence."
"But they're sirens!" The unicorn yelled, eyes narrowing, getting pissed that the mare wasn't understanding what was going on.
Spitfire growled and stood up again. "If you want me to arrest them for being monsters, perhaps I should try arresting your werewolf and succubus friends!"
Twilight opened her mouth to argue back but closed her mouth instead and crossed her arms. "Fine..." she growled through her teeth.
"You're walking on thin ice as it is," the cop warned, before heading back towards the others to watch the firetruck put out the fire. "Don't fall through..."
Twilight watched her leave before letting out a deep sigh. "Fuck..." she muttered, turning and heading back to her car. When she arrived, she noticed a dent in the front. "Oh, you gotta be fuckin' kidding me..." she grumbled, opening the driver's side door and getting in. Hesitating, she slammed her door shut and laid her head back against the head rest. "Why can't we ever get a goddamn break?" She asked herself aloud, before turning the key in the ignition and putting the car in drive.
She then drove away from the sidewalk, making her way back towards the hotel.
Ginger stood in the bathroom, looking at herself in the mirror above the sink. She was wearing a thin white night gown and nothing else. As she looked into the mirror, she thought about what happened earlier between her and Rarity. Blushing, she went to the door, opening it and shutting the light off.
Moving down the hall, her eyes were fixed on the floor as she was deep in thought. Stopping at the bedroom door, she put her hand on the knob, stopping suddenly. Looking around, she noticed that she was at Rarity's bedroom and not the guest bedroom. Taking her hand of the knob, she made her way towards the guest bedroom.
"Stupid..." she muttered. "Cant believe I almost..." Stopping in the middle of the hall, she looked back at Rarity's door. "But... w-we did..."
Biting her lip, she hesitated before turning back to her room when she heard a door open. Turning back around, she saw Rarity standing in her doorway, wearing a thin black night gown.
"Are you okay?" The white mare asked, hand on the door frame as she looked at the mare.
Ginger hesitated and bit her lip, gently rubbing her arm nervously. "W-Well, I... I wasn't sure if... Um..." she stammered with a blush. "Because of earlier... Guest room, or... U-Uh..." She felt her face heat up before she stopped talking.
Rarity watched the mare freeze up before smiling. "I get it..." she said, before motioning towards her with her right finger.
Ginger blushed more and took a step towards her. "You mean..."
"Mmm-hmm..." the unicorn cooed. "It's a little chilly. We can keep each other warm," she said before heading to her bed.
Ginger hesitated before quickly making her way into the mare's bedroom, closing the door when she entered.
Twilight parked her car outside the hotel and got out, running up the stairs whilst muttering to herself. Upon entering the hotel, she noticed a few flashes of light coming from the doorway leading to the garage. The unicorn made her way into the garage to see Bit under a car with Byte looking through a toolbox, a wrench floating beside her.
Her ears suddenly perked before she looked up at Twilight, a light smile appearing on her face. "Hey, Twilight. Need something?"
"Um..." the unicorn said as Bit slid out from under the car and sat up. "What are you two doing, exactly?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she walked towards them.
Bit looked back at the car before looking at Twilight again. "Fixing up this car... The driver told us it was pulling to the left..."
"You're mechanics, too?" Asked the purple unicorn, crossing her arms.
Bit and Byte both nodded. "Mm-hmm," the green mare said with a smile. "Since we're technicians, we also learned about similar things... Fixing up cars is one of 'em." Bit then took a step forward. "Need some help with your car?"
Twilight hesitated, looking at the two mares before nodding slowly. "Mmm... I hit someone. The front could use some work."
Byte went wide-eyed. "You hit someone?" The blue mare asked.
"She had it coming," The purple mare said, pulling her keys out of her pocket. "Don't fuck it up," she added, tossing the mare the keys.
Byte let out a surprised gasp as she caught them. Twilight then turned and walked away, both Bit and Byte eyeing each other as she left.
Ginger lay beside Rarity, who was on her back with her arm around the brown mare. Both had their eyes closed as they tried to go to sleep. Ginger eventually opened her eyes, looking at the white mare.
"Um... Rarity?" She asked softly.
"Mmm..." the unicorn moaned softly. "Yes, Ginger?"
"I was... just wondering..." the brown mare began, gently tracing circles on Rarity's belly. "Why'd you let me... stay here? I-I mean, Twilight and Dash must've told you..."
"You needed help," Rarity said, slowly opening her eyes halfway. "You needed some place to stay and I needed some help around the shop. What, with Sweetie Belle and the girls having their own place now..."
"Sweetie Belle..." Ginger muttered softly.
"My sister."
The brown mare stopped tracing circles before simply resting her hand on the white mare's belly. "What about... earlier today?" She asked, eyes focused on her hand as she didn't want to accidentally look Rarity in the eyes while she asked this. "Why did you... Um... Wh-Why did we..."
The white unicorn opened her eyes all the way before rolling onto her side to face the mare. Ginger looked up at her as she saw her turning, their eyes meeting. Rarity then put her arm around Ginger and pulled her closer.
"I've been alone for quite some time..." Rarity said with a light smile. "I've never... had a crush... I was asked a couple times in school but I always refused..."
"Why'd you refuse?" Ginger asked with a look of confusion.
"None of them seemed... right," Rarity answered, rubbing Ginger's back. "There was a stallion who seemed too rough... A mare who didn't like fashion..."
"You refused her for not liking fashion?" Ginger asked, even more confused.
"Oh, she didn't just dislike it... She despised it. Really was against it... She said she liked my body, but that isn't enough. Then a couple more but they either drank, smoke, or did both..."
"Well, I don't do any of that, and... I don't mind fashion," Ginger said softly, smiling.
Rarity smiled back with a nod. "I know... And you seemed lonely as well..."
The brown mare's smile faded. "I was..."
"You really loved Surprise, didn't you?"
Ginger smiled lightly and nodded. "I did... We were childhood friends, too, so..."
"Tell me about her," Rarity cooed, stroking Ginger's hair. "What was she like when you were kids?"
The brown mare smiled lightly as she thought back to the days when she and the white mare were in school.
1994, 21 Years Ago...
A seven year old brown mare sat down at her desk with a smile, setting her backpack on the desktop and unzipped it. As she pulled out her supplies, a white filly with long blonde hair sat down at the desk beside her.
"Hey, Ginger," the white filly said cheerfully.
The brown filly looked over at her and smiled. "Hey. Ready for the Spelling Bee today?"
The white filly nodded as the teacher began reading off names. "Oh, you bet. You?"
Ginger nodded as the teacher read off Silver Trails. The colt answered and raised his hand. "Studied all night."
"Daisy?" The teacher called out, getting an answer from the filly.
"I fell really good about this one," Ginger cooed with a wide smile. "My parents say that if I pass, or get far enough, they'll take me to the amusement park in Manehattan. I'm so excited."
"Melody?" The teacher said, continuing to read off the names.
After the filly answered back, Ginger looked at her friend. "So... Surprise... Your family gonna do anything if you do good, too?"
The white filly smiled and nodded. "The amusement park sounds nice..."
Ginger let out a giggle as the teacher read off the last few names, before calling out her own. "Here!" She answered.
2015, Present Day...
Rarity smiled and rubbed Ginger's back. "She sounds like a fun kid."
Ginger chuckled softly. "Oh, she was... She was the best..."
"She do anything else worth sharing?" The unicorn asked, laying her leg over Ginger's. "Sorry, if I... seem like I'm prying..."
"O-Oh, no, it's... it's fine," Ginger replied with a smile. "I, uh... I like remembering the good ol' days..."
"There's nothing quite like them, is there?" Rarity cooed. "So, what else did she do?"
"Well..." Ginger started. "She would comfort me when I was sad... and stood up for me when I got bullied." Remembering this made her smile slightly wider, a tear falling from her eye. "She was a true friend..."
1995, 20 Years Ago...
Ginger looked back at her as Surprise chased her through the field near the white filly's house, both laughing and giggling. Not looking where she was going, Ginger ran out onto the sidewalk and bumped into Gear Grinder, the 8 year old school bully. He was gray with short brown hair and was wearing shorts and a white t-shirt.
"Hey!" He yelled, turning to face her. "Watch where you're going!"
"I-I'm sorry," Ginger whimpered, taking a step back before Gear pushed her over.
When she hit the sidewalk with a yelp, Surprise burst through the bushes. "Ginger!" She yelled, sounding concerned. Her eyes then narrowed as she glared at the colt. "Apologize right now, you bully!"
Gear scoffed and crossed his arms. "And, what if I don't?" He asked. "What are you gonna do--"
He was cut short when Surprise ran at him and kneed him in the stomach. Letting out a wheezing gasp, he held his stomach and fell to the sidewalk, gasping for air.
"Now, get out of here!" The white filly yelled, pointing down the sidewalk. "Go!"
Gear coughed a few times before scrambling to his feet and taking off. "You're nuts!" He called back, trying not to cry.
Surprise watched him run before she looked over at Ginger, her expression softening. Letting out a sad sigh, she went over and knelt down beside her friend.
"Are you okay?" She asked, putting her arm around her.
Ginger winced and looked at her knee. On it was a cut which wasn't bleeding too badly but there was some blood. "I'll be fine..."
"Oh, that jerk," the white filly muttered, helping Ginger to her feet. "Come on. My mom can help get this cleaned up..."
Ginger smiled as she and Surprise made their way towards the house. "Thanks... You're always looking out for me..."
"Of course, Gingy..." Surprise giggled. "We're best friends..."
"Best friends forever?"
The white filly chuckled. "Forever and ever..."
2015, Present Day...
Rarity smiled as Ginger finished her story. "Wow... That is a good friend... I'm... I'm sorry things turned out... this way..."
The brown mare looked Rarity in the eyes and smiled. "I may be upset that she's gone, but... I'm really happy I'm not alone anymore..."
The unicorn leaned in and kissed Ginger on the lips. "Me, too..."
Ginger blushed and bit her lip, before leaning in to continue the kiss, both closing their eyes as they simply melted into the kiss. Rarity rolled onto her back, pulling Ginger atop her. The brown mare gasped into the kiss before placing her hands on the bed for support. Breaking the kiss, she lifted her head up to look down at the white mare.
Rarity smiled up at her. "Now, we can do this..." she said with a wink, pulling open her night gown.
Ginger looked down at her body, blushing before she leaned back in to kiss the mare on the neck. She then pulled the white mare's gown open some more before gently gripping her breasts.
"Oh, darling..." Rarity cooed, reaching up to undo Ginger's gown. "Even the playing field..."
Ginger smiled and sat up. "Right..." she said with a blush, opening her gown and pulling it off.
After setting it on the bedside table, she laid back down and kissed Rarity on the lips, their breasts squishing together. Rarity's hands ran over Ginger's back and butt as the two made out, letting out soft moans. The two then broke the kiss to look into each other's eyes, the white mare placing her hand on Ginger's cheek. The brown mare nuzzled her palm and smiled.
"Does this feel right?" She asked.
Rarity smiled back and nodded. "It sure does..."
Ginger leaned back in and kissed her again.
Adagio looked out the window of the abandoned hotel room, holding a thin bath robe closed as she watched a couple cars pass by.
"Look at them all..." she muttered. "So... unaware of what's to come..." She then took a step back from the window before turning to face the bed, where Aria and Sonata lay naked while they watched her. "Tomorrow..." She said with a smile as she approached the bed. "We start tomorrow..."
"What about the cops?" Asked Aria. "We're protected from Twilight right now... But, if we show our true selves--"
"Then, we will have to take care of Twilight first," Adagio cooed as she crawled onto the bed, the robe falling to the floor. "And, I know just how to do it..."
